What Was Paul's View of Salvation? It's Not What You Think!

  • In this informal extended interview with host Sam of RUclips channel ‪@transfigured3673‬ I talk about my 43 year career teaching and studying the apostle Paul since graduate school days. My focus is on Paul's Hellenistic view of "Salvation," and how he combined Hebrew motifs of "resurrection of the dead," and apocalyptic eschatology with a kind of "Dualistic" view of eternal salvation. It was truly a "New Creation." And he even called it that!

      PASSION- How can anyone have passion for something he thinks is a MYTH He just Fibbed sating Paul believed Jesus was justr a man, as he cut off his reading before Paul lays out his HIGH CHRYSTOLOGY. I am finally figuring our=t why Paul is the most hated- Paul has "without question" written those Letters, and PAUL , HOW DARE HE!, speaks of all the resserection witnesses that are "still with us." BECAUSE OF THIS 1) Paul is a Liar, 2) Paul 'made up a new religion- BUT FOR TABOR TO SAY THAT PAUL THOUGHT JESUS was "just a man" is so obscene, honestly he should fired. THAT STATEMENT IS DELUSIOINAL. It is not what YOU Tabor believe, YOU TELL THE AUDIENCE THAT Paul's Jesus, was a "regular guy, in face of ALL: the Passion Paul writes about Jesus Christ? Did the "Christ who came to Paul- THAST WAS A REGULAR GUY SCENE? . THe reason the "academy Types" have to make ridiculous comments is BECAUSE THey are mocked if they displayed faith.

    Great background for discussing both the aerial tollhouses of (Russian) Orthodoxy as well as the magical exorcistic practices that eventually became the european grimoire/necromantic tradition.
    Not only does, say, the Heptameron, acknowledge the existence of these beings and heavenly spheres, it proposes methods of compelling them to do your will. In the name of Christ, of course.

  • @wildemthefem5773

    A lot of what’s talked about early on in the meat of this discussion, reminds me of modern spirituality. There is a belief that the planets are also heavenly bodies with their own energies and purpose; the view goes beyond the idea of the mechanistic universe. Also, Paul’s description of the “heavens” reminds me of the idea of dimensions. The ascent to higher dimensions allows a being to remember/ more intensely experience the connection with god, source, creation, etc. The lower realms are cut off from the divine with the realms beneath us being fully disconnected, while we simply forget that connection to the divine on the earthly realm. There are beings on all of the levels, including angels and other exalted forms.

    • @wildemthefem5773
      @wildemthefem5773 11 месяцев назад +1

      Side note: Jesus is considered to be an ascended being from the higher realms, who descended into the chaos of the 3rd dimension to help humans wake up to our own divinity. John 14:12 “Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am.” That idea is thought to mean that we can all ascend to the higher realms like Christ.

    It is amazing to me, as a follower of The Way, that brilliant minds and intellects like that of Tabor and Jordan Peterson, who profess they are NOT followers of Jesus Christ, can present a more compelling presentation of the reason TO follow the Christ Jesus than most Western church leaders. May be in part due to the audience each draws, but their is a part of us that is participating in an unseen dimension of this life that most cannot perceive, and that is of the spirit. And we each are developing and contributing to a being that will be revealed at the end of our individual material cycles on earth. Some to higher glory vision, others to lesser, more mundane or laborious conditions.
    Thank you for the wisdom you pass on and I hope to meet you in the kingdom that is to come.

      I have it- You are a VEGAN, and the Christ could never have stooped too such a disgusting level as eating fish and honeycomb...PATHETIC- you NEED the Messiah to be a VEGAN? sorry- He enjoyed grilled fish AFTER he had risen, no doubt as further evidence that "I AM FLESH AND BLOOD , Now give me a meal" You see, Christ will NOT let himself become a mystical figure to all those that demand that he rise NOT as a flesh and blood man:
      Luke 24:36-43
      Some today claim Jesus did not eat meat, including fish. But notice this account. After Christ's resurrection, He appears in human form to the disciples (Luke 24:36). The disciples and others had gathered in a secure room, and He appears right in their midst, an act that shook them. They believe they are seeing a ghost, a spirit, but He assures them that He is indeed Christ. He lets them examine His hands and feet.
      Still, they do not seem quite convinced, so He asks, “'Have you any food here?' So they gave Him a piece of a broiled fish and some honeycomb” (verses 41-42). Fish and sweets made from the labor of bees? Oh, the horror of it all!
      Then what happened? “And He took it and ate it in their presence” (verse 43; emphasis added). This concise statement is a tough one to get around. The Greek word translated “broiled” here means simply “cooked.” Most translations use “broiled,” “baked,” or “cooked.” If anything, this verse might be a good argument against sushi! But there is no getting around what verse 43 states: The resurrected Christ ate the fish and the honeycomb right there

      @@duffgordon9005 Why least likely? Paul was a highly intelligent man and, unusual for his time, fluently literate in Koine Greek, which was the Lingua Franca of the time in the eastern portion of the Roman Empire- the language of trade and long distance communication. Paul grew up at the intersection of two cultures; Hebrew, through his parentage, and Greco-Roman through his life in Tarsus, a major metropolis where ideas could spread like wildfire. He was also quite zealous, and even though he, according to his own narrative, switched from being an oppressor of Christians to their biggest champion (but with his particular brand. Not all Christian communities believed all the same things) - many aspects of his life and personality carried over; he had always been zealous had some authority within the Jewish communities (assuming, as acts says, he was a student of Gamaliel's ) a pharisee familiar with Jewish law and tradition. Resurrection is a very foundational element of the Pharisaic tradition, so even if he didn't agree with the claim Jesus' had at first, it was a very significant idea for him.
      We don't know if he's exaggerating and if so to which degree, when he says he was once a persecutor of Christians, who were simply Jews with a slightly different interpretation, believing the messiah had already come but was going to come back within their lifetimes. Imagine Paul thinking himself on a sinking ship, historically. What if he had been wrong all along, and was actually on the wrong side, persecuting God's chosen one? What if the paradoxical way Jesus died and was said to have proven himself messiah was actually evidence of God's will? Many Jews of his day were also expecting an immanent end to history as they knew it and the restoration of God's kingdom on Earth. The time to act was fleeting, and Paul used his resources and skills to propagate the gospel of the Nazarenes to as many both inside and outside his own people more effectively than most would have. His Roman citizenship may have also saved his life at times, when others would have been nailed to crosses for daring to defy Roman authority. He was not the only Jew trying to spread Jesus' message, and certainly he did put his own spin on it (like the idea of atoning death which is not found in Judaism) but he was perhaps the most convicted, the most intelligent, the most literate and the most well-connected. There were others, but most of them were lost to history; Paul's name and influence is felt all throughout the New Testament, but that is only because most Christianity that wasn't Pauline, probably didn't accept as many non-Jews or pagan influences (like virgin birth, God's only son stuff); and when Jerusalem was destroyed in 70 AD, they were perhaps the only surviving Christian sect that, for its inclusiveness and growing number of literate members, would continue to thrive.

    Matthew 1:23
    “Behold, a virgin shall be with child and shall bring forth a Son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel” (which being interpreted is, “God with us”).

    • @gilroyopinion
      @gilroyopinion Месяц назад

      In the original Hebrew prophesy the word is actually "almah" which means "young woman" (not necessarily a virgin)- the author of Matthew's gospel was a Greek speaker (we don't know who wrote this or any of the gospels- they were left anonymous, and whether he was a Jew is up for debate, but at any rate he, of the four canonical writers is most concerned with explaining Jesus' significance within Jewish history and tradition). He, like the others, perhaps following in Paul's footsteps, is believed to have used the Septaguint to draw parallels in the Old Testament that seem to point to Jesus' life, ministry , death and its significance, depending on how one reads them. This is a Greek translation of the Tanakh, which eventually became the old testament, where the word is mistranslated as "parthenos" which however does mean virgin. That said, the biggest issue with Matthew's reference to Isaiah's "virgin birth" is this; there is nothing in the passage to indicate that this is about a messiah figure, or even the "Suffering Servant" in Chapter 53 (traditionally understood to mean Israel, or at least the righteous among the Israelites who suffer as a result of the sins of the people). The original setting is during the Babylonian captivity, when Isaiah is said to have lived, during especially politically tense times.
      The gospel writers, perhaps banking on the lack of literacy in the population of the time (and so not much opportunity or desire to fact check or even question, if they are Gentiles and unfamiliar with Jewish ideas), are trying to say :"look this is clearly the guy that the old scriptures foretold" but in order to do say this, they either believe that any OT passage can have meanings that go beyond what is given contextually; that parts that do seem to line up with Jesus' life can be separated from other parts that don't, without losing the passage's prophetic significance; or that Jesus own life can be told, with certain details left out, others altered or added, in a way that seems to line up with the prophesies in Tanakh. For instance, the Romans gambling for his clothes appears to be an invention based on one of the Psalms which seems to talk about Jesus' crucifixion. However, it's important to keep in mind, the translation will matter greatly; and there's nothing to suggest the translations they were using weren't more favorable to the positions they were trying to defend. An example I've seen is the pierced hands. In the original Hebrew version, it's actually meant to say "like lions at my hands" which appears similar in Hebrew. There's admittedly some ambiguity here since 1. left out vowels can make a difference and the reader may be selecting the more fitting between two possible interpretations (not necessarily deliberately ) and 2. we don't know which particular translations the gospel writers were working with and which unwritten traditions they were drawing from.

      "The simplest solution to this problem of violence for early human communities was to polarize blame and hostility onto one member of the group who would be killed and interpreted as the source of conflict and hostility within the group. The transition from the violent conflict of all-against-all would be transformed into the unifying and pacifying violence of all-except-one whose death would reconcile the community together. The victim who was persecuted as the source of disorder would then become venerated as the source of order and meaning for the community and seen as a god. This process of engendering and making possible human community through arbitrary victimization is called, within mimetic theory, the scapegoat mechanism." - Wiki

    Old Covenant Baptism vs. New Covenant Baptism (water vs. Spirit)
    Water baptism was a part of the Old Covenant system of ritual washing. The Old Covenant priests had to wash before beginning their service in the temple. (Ex. 30:17-30) When Christ was water baptized by His cousin John in the Jordan River, He was under the Old Covenant system. He also only ate certain foods, and wore certain clothes, as prescribed by the 613 Old Covenant laws. Christ was water baptized by John and then the Holy Spirit came from heaven. The order is reversed in the New Covenant. A person receives the Holy Spirit upon conversion, and then believers often declare their conversion to their friends and family through a water baptism ceremony. Which baptism makes you a member of Christ’s Church?
    The New Covenant conversion process is described below. (Born-again)
    Eph 1:12 That we should be to the praise of his glory, who first trusted in Christ.
    Eph 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
    (A person must “hear” the Gospel, and “believe” the Gospel, and will then be “sealed” with the Holy Spirit.)
    Joh 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
    (See Jer. 31:34 for the New Covenant promise, and 1 John 2:27 for the fulfillment)
    ============
    Which baptism is a part of the salvation process, based on what the Bible says?
    What did Peter say below?
    Acts 11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Ghost fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
    Acts 11:16 Then remembered I the word of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost.
    Based on Luke 3:16, and John 1:33, and Acts 11:15-16, the most important thing about the word "baptize" in the New Testament has nothing to do with water. The Holy Spirit is the master teacher promised to New Covenant believers in Jeremiah 31:34, and John 14:26, and is found fulfilled in Ephesians 1:13, and 1 John 2:27. Unfortunately, many modern Christians see water when they read the word "baptize" in the text.
    Based on the above, what is the one baptism of our faith found in the passage below? How many times is the word "Spirit" found in the passage, and how many times is the word "water" found in the passage?
    Eph 4:1 I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you that ye walk worthy of the vocation wherewith ye are called,
    Eph 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;
    Eph 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
    Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
    Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, (See 1 Cor. 12:13)
    “baptize” KJV
    Mat_3:11 I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance: but he that cometh after me is mightier than I, whose shoes I am not worthy to bear: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost, and with fire:
    Mar_1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.
    Mar 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned. (Water or Holy Spirit?, See Eph. 1-13.)
    Luk_3:16 John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire:
    Joh_1:26 John answered them, saying, I baptize with water: but there standeth one among you, whom ye know not;
    Joh_1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.
    1Co_1:17 For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel: not with wisdom of words, lest the cross of Christ should be made of none effect.
    1Co 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. (See Eph. 4:1-5)
    Heb 9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation. (Old Covenant ----> New Covenant)
    How many people have been saved by the Old Covenant water baptism of John the Baptist?

    New Covenant Whole Gospel:
    Let us now share the Old Testament Gospel found below with the whole world. On the road to Emmaus He said the Old Testament is about Him.
    He is the very Word of God in John 1:1, 14. Awaken Church to this truth.
    Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
    Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by
    husband unto them, saith the LORD:
    Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
    Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
    Is the most important genealogy in the Bible found in Matthew 1:1 (Gal. 3:16)? Is God's Son the ultimate fulfillment of Israel (John 1:49)? Why has the modern Church done a pitiful job of sharing the Gospel with modern Orthodox Jews? Why would someone tell them they are God's chosen people and then fail to share the Gospel with them? Who is the seed of the woman promised in Genesis 3:15? Who is the "son" in Psalm 2? Who is the "suffering servant" of Isaiah 53? Who would fulfill the New Covenant promised in Jeremiah 31:31-34? Who would fulfill the timeline of Daniel chapter 9 before the second temple was destroyed? Why have we not heard this simple Old Testament Gospel preached on Christian television in the United States on a regular basis?
    Once a person comes to understand the New Covenant promised to Israel and Judah in Jeremiah 31:31-34, which is found fulfilled by Christ during the first century in Hebrews 8:6-13, and Hebrews 10:16-18, and specifically applied to the Church in 2 Corinthians 3:6-8, and Hebrews 12:22-24, man-made Bible doctrines fall apart.
    Let us now learn to preach the whole Gospel until He comes back. The King of Israel is risen from the dead! (John 1:49, Acts 2:36)
    We are not come to Mount Sinai in Hebrews 12:18. We are come instead to the New Covenant church of Mount Zion and the blood in Hebrews 12:22-24.
    1Jn 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
    1Jn 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
    1Jn 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

    My understanding of Paul is that be believes that we are body, soul, and spirit,
    and when the body dies the spirit returns to God who gave it, and the soul of a
    person who has received salvation through faith in Jesus experiences itself
    in God's presence but not yet having received the glorified resurrected body
    which they will receive during the resurrection Paul speaks about when Christ
    returns and those who died in faith in Christ will receive and be instantly
    "clothed" with their new glorified resurrected bodies, and those who have not
    died will be instantly changed and be with the Lord in their new immortal
    glorified resurrected bodies, and so all who have died IN Christ through
    faith, love, and received salvation in his name, and those who are still alive
    at Jesus return, will go to their heavenly home with the Lord.
    In John 14:1-6 Jesus said to his disciples that he was returning to his
    heavenly Father to prepare a mansion for them, and would return to take
    them there so they would be with him forever. He told them he was the way,
    the truth and the life. He said he was the only way to the Father ( the source
    of eternal life, and of all truth of existence and life fully lived and experienced
    in the eternal presence of the Father and in intimate relationship as sons of
    the Father, born into the fullness of life as sons of God receiving full inheritance
    from the Father of his true nature, into which they are reborn and received
    through faith in Christ).
    God bless you Dr. Tabor,. Thank you for sharing your understanding with us.
    Please consider my understanding in all of this, and share your thoughts on it.

Imagining a correlation between physical states and mental/conscious/spiritual states, is it necessary to look at ‘Paul’s cosmology’ as naive? "And now, O Father, glorify Me together with Yourself, with the glory which I had with You before the world was."
    John 17:5 ??
    From the mouth of the Lord Jesus Himself.
    And this:
    "God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;"
    Hebrews 1:1‭-‬2
    And lastly this:
    "He said to them, “How then does David in the Spirit call Him ‘Lord,’ saying: ‘The Lord said to my Lord, “Sit at My right hand, Till I make Your enemies Your footstool” ’? If David then calls Him ‘Lord,’ how is He his Son?” And no one was able to answer Him a word, nor from that day on did anyone dare question Him anymore."
    Matthew 22:43‭-‬46
    I appreciate the conversation, but I see some eisegesis.

      @@kennethbrownsher1264 What part of Lamentations chapter two "THE LAW IS NO MORE" do you not comprehend. This is a lawless age, but that opens to the opportunity for an AGE OF FAITH , so if the law was recovered, no Faith reasoning can apply to anyone's problems . But while the jury is out and the court is adjourned, then Faith applies in LIBERTY apart from the Law. You confuse the moral laws with judicial apparatus of the Temple Law. Do you think that people who lived before Israel had no moral sense ? Right and Wrong is defined in Genesis chapter two, THREE OF KNOWLEDGE OF GOOD AND EVIL. So you see , no man is excused personally from the moral truth of being human beings, it is predestined to know right and wrong by time and experience, only a child is excused from knowing . So Jesus was Israel and no , I am sorry, but you are not Israel, and the man Jacob is still only a dead MUMMY in a tomb in Israel, he has not risen and so he is yet JACOB, and the promise of God to title Jacob as "ISRAEL" God never yet exercised while Jacob lived, the man was to God 'JACOB JACOB" when God called him, and God had not yet ever called him 'ISRAEL ' officially , so it is a Prophetic Title, but you see, JACOB is yet a dead MUMMY in a tomb, done so by Joseph who then expresses a FAITH about a future Resurrection of Jacob , the MUMMY had to rise up out of the tomb as a SIGN from God that begins a new age. But a Priest YESHUA is a SIGN OF A FUTURE dedicated to a special rank of a Priest who sets an example and rises early.
      I don't have any problem seeing, you are the one who thinks Jacob rose from the dead and is now ISRAEL, but he is just a MUMMY, there is no ISRAEL yet, but Jesus is the MORNING STAR, a SIGN through a Nazirite Priest advertising a future disposition of the Court, as one example to prove God can actually raise the dead. If Jesus is not the Proof of LIFE by being the CRASH TEST DUMMY and showing it is all possible, then you are still dead in your sins and there is no hope for you. All you have is a collection of stories , not Proof of Life.

    My question about Paul's idea of the resurrection is this. The decomposed body or cremated remains scattered to the ocean or winds are not raised nor turned into an incorruptible body, right? Those who died are remembered by God and "given" "recreated" in a new incorruptible body like the one that Jesus has as the first fruit of all believers. At least that is the way i understand it from Professor Tabor's videos here. If that understanding is correct, then, why would it be any different for Jesus as a first fruit? Apparently, his bones should still be around somewhere, wherever it was that they moved the body for its final rest. Yes?

      For mainstream Christianity, the physical resurrection is important because it's a *sign*, of God's promise of resurrection, even if believer's bodies aren't "gathered back up" and reanimated.
      It's theologically important because it demonstrates that A) the resurrected Jesus is the same guy and B) that it is a *physical* resurrection and not just a spiritual one. That's why the Synoptic gospels include the story of Thomas' doubt, and have Jesus eat with the Disciples.
      Like Dr Tabor said, the largely Jewish influenced Christian communities didn't view the material world as evil, which competing Christian sects (Gnostics) absolutely did. Gnostics would suggest a spiritual rather than physical resurrection, and these are, in part, polemical responses.

    God purchased the church with His own blood, eh? I thought it was Jesus? If Jesus is not divine then Paul has a theological problem and so does Luke, by extension.
    The New Testament writers (with the possible exception of James, the brother of Jesus) understood that Jesus is divine.

    The Salvation Paul was waiting for was a new spiritual body. Jesus was not physically resurrected as "flesh and blood cannot inherit the Kingdom of God". Jesus had a spiritual body. Paul was waiting for this hope..." we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed. The last trumpet will sound and the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive shall be caught up to meet the Lord in the air". Paul never mentioned salvation being about going to heaven as a spirit and hell being eternal torment.

    I hold that the initial Creation was good... it was established to be a forever thing... What happened? The transgression(s)... now, that which was meant to bless, would be cursed... now was 'death' introduced... the 'natural' was now 'out of order'... there were some exceptions... Enoch... Noah... Job... just to mention a few... The 'destruction of all flesh on the land' (fish were not affected... 'Dagon... Dagon... Dagon' - in Ben Stein's 'Bueller's voice) and the 'reorganization of the 'land' while it is submerged... I hold that a way of Salvation was in place for those who would fall... 'Before the foundations of the earth were laid - (or planned)'. Since there is now way for the present earth to be 'redeemed', a new heaven (huh? what was up with the old one?) and a new earth... and the New Jerusalem (City of YHWH), too! No sun, for the Light (Presence of the Most High in the midst of His City) will provide the light... No more night - no need for a mood or stars... Day... and now since 'there is no more time', for the rest of (for resurrected/transformed humans - not all who are now present were participants in the 1st Resurrection - I hold that not all who came forth during the 2nd resurrection were cast into the Lake of Fire (lake of/for destruction) - and not all that were born during the 1000 year reign of The Son of David (over the land of Israel) were killed during the final release of Hasatan - at the end of the thousand years... for the final testing of (the un-resurrected) people and the final judgement of YHWH against Hasatan (and his destruction by YHWH). For the old, there was no 'renewal'... therefore the New.

    James Tabor is shooting from the hip again. Jesus, he claims, is not the "Logos" spoken about in the Gospel of John. My question then is, who is the Logos in 1 John 1:1?
    1 Jn. 1:1 - That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;
    Who is the Logos of God in Revelation 19?
    Rev. 19:13 - And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.
    John is the ONLY New Testament writer who calls Jesus "the Word". Furthermore, John the Baptist sure thought Jesus was the pre-existent One:
    John 1:30 - This is he of whom I said, After me cometh a man which is preferred before me: for he was before me.
    John was born before Jesus. How was Jesus "before me"?
    James Tabor is all wet when it comes to the New Testament. He doesn't know half of it and the half he does know, he doesn't believe. He's a fraud and I prove it over and over again.

      "Who is the Logos of God in Revelation 19?" -- Who cares? Revelation does NOT belong in the Bible. It was just revenge fairy tale that someone wrote around 95 AD and then got included in the Bible against all better judgment. It is not a prediction of the future. Bart Ehrman has discussed this at length.

    my questions are;
    first:
    is there any historical grounding when Paul say ; i recieved this Gospel from Jesus himself?..
    is just a "literary" things?
    second
    is there any (authoritative, textual) source of James (the brother of Jesus) that counters what Paul teaching?..
    exactly in this "salvation" thing??..
    some kind of ebionite written documents??..
    if there are documents of this kind, which party have legalistic (tradisional) approach and which more revolusional, phylosopical. one ?
    can there be a theological truth based only from (mythical, philosophical) literary truth but without some support of historical truth??..
    I think only man in your caliber is able to investigate this sort of thing.....
    Thank You..🙏🙏🙏

    I don't know about you, but I learned from O.T. these three: the mouth of the pit, the sides of the pit and the bottom. There is an antithesis of wisdom; and the floor of her house "inclineth" unto death. Right? The sliding board to Hell. This stands in contrast to the kingdom of God. The heaven, heavens, heaven of heaven and most high heaven are just one analogy of the pattern of all things. The birds, the mountains, the trees, many things align with the pattern of all things. Of course! Because the tabernacle pattern was received from God. Whenever you see references to the pattern, the word cluster appears. If the language breaks away, it probably isn't breathed by God who makes no mistakes. I've no doubt that God revealed himself in earlier times than Abraham. At Babel it would seem that men had determined how to acquire the positions and gifts that bring power. However, the warning of "Beware lest ye fall" is to be understood. And let us not forget what redefining the meaning of words can do. Sometimes Babel gave levels of understanding to a word, but when no means yes, there are problems. I have found everything necessary in the Word. It is imperative to read "as if" you believe. If you do that you are "almost" there. Instead of losing faith the result can be deeper faith. I wish I could learn every day. Call me crazy, but 3 shells with the electon drawn by cords of love to a proton is remarkable in my mind. But the intellectuals immediately want to say that it must be a mistake. Every time a teacher tells you that there must be a mistake, there is something wonderful to learn.
    Job gives us strata of the sky like the pattern of all things. Lightning comes from the snow clouds and this is the language of the most high God. These are word cluster ideas allowing you to understand the person and power of God. Things like Frost, hail, sparks of fire, lightning and, most important, the still small voice. I'm sure you understand the meanings behind clothing--things like that are important. It is all in the word of God. Above all we should seek the face of God. Grace will enable us to love more with each court. 🚚 ❤ sending love!

      God created man with free will to make his own choices. Only in free will can love be
      truly expressed and received and appreciated and exist as part of creation. The Bible
      teaches that we are all made a New Creation in Christ through faith and are then able to
      RE-ENTER the EXPERIENCE OF GOD'S LOVE through a Spiritual rebirth INTO the
      unconditional love of God wherein we can be made a new creation in that love through
      faith, in the rebirth experience of the Cross of Jesus by which we die to our sinful
      nature acquired through the fallen ego, and are reborn into the perfect unconditional
      love of God though and in relationship with His Holy Spirit of perfect love.
      I don't have time right now to list all the Bible verses. One is 1John 4:7-19 and
      John 17:22.23.26
      God bless you.

The first Adam was from the earth but the second Adam was from Heaven ( God in flesh or Word became flesh) Jesus was entirely human as a man but as God manifest in flesh as a man he was also divine by the Spirit in him and not by the flesh.The Spirit it's the Father in him who perform all the miracles Jesus as a simple man cannot do this.
