- This is my first time assembly a model! Please bear with me LOL. My verdict for One Piece Thousand Sunny Model is...this is much more fun than I expected! I couldn't stop assembly it! There is so much satisfaction in fixing the model :D However I broke the first model part when I was trying to cut it out with my craft knife :P Lesson learned, I should have prepare a side cutter first! The kit comes with 9 characters (Luffy, Zoro, Nami, Usopp, Sanji, Chopper, Robin, Franky, Brook) from the anime which are super tiny and are not painted. It included stickers for those who does not have paint. Me! I have seen others painted their own ship and the result are amazing! It makes me wanting to paint 1 too :)
-------What is One Piece?-------
One Piece is a very famous manga in Japan written and illustrated by Eiichiro Oda. The story is about a young boy named Luffy whose body gains the properties of rubber after unintentionally eating a Devil Fruit, and his diverse crew of pirates, named the Straw Hat Pirates. Luffy explores the ocean in search of the world's ultimate treasure known as One Piece in order to become the next Pirate King.

The model ship was really well made! I enjoyed hearing the snaps of things going into place! It can definitively be hard to film and focus on making something as well but you did a fantastic job!

@@djmars9484 its about 40 dollars if I remember correctly on amazon but I wouldn't recommend buying it. I bought it and the quality was so shitty the stickers kept coming off so I had to glue it and some of them don't even fit properly, other than that it was missing a few stickers when you compare it to the ship on the box or the show.

When I bought it, I thought I didn't have to assembly it. It's been 4 years since I tried to assembly it. Now watching your video made me feel anxious to try to build it.

The thousand sunny is my fav ship in one piece both manga and and anime it has such a wacky and unique design granted most ships in one piece have wacky unconventional designs but it makes the ships feel alive and in some cases (going merry) they are alive

Im trying to build mine.bought it 3 yrs ago and i just found the time to build it. The instruction is in japnese which makes it harder for me to build the ship. Im relaying on ur vid haha thank you!

I wouldn't try it. It has stickers, and it isn't sealed. It may sink, and may get damaged, and it would be difficult to dry if water got inside.
Now to smell it! The smell of a plastic toy! Ahh, love it!!
Some suggestions. Toothpick and Cotton Buds will help making the stickers set more flush to the plastic.

I got this as a birthday present but its been sitting on my shelf for like a year now. I couldn't build it because 1.the manual is in Japanese 2. I've never built Bandai stuff before. This video some what helped me Thx :>

I totally understand what you were going through here! I'm a Gunpla builder years ago, on building Gundam models with paints as well. But I've quit that hobby, don't think I can do this now xD. Great job by the way! Well made and sticker skills.

I recommend buying yours from either AmiAmi, Hobbylink Japan, or HobbySearch. Look those up on google, you'll find one available there. I bought mine from Hobbylink Japan, and It was the same as the kit she made in this video. But hurry, they are low on stock! I bought it for $47.

i make a money box thousand sunny base on this video, most of them is from high quality woods that strong and dun break easily and some plastic for grass, it's 2 times larger than this one and i design it;s weight balance so it can stand without holder by balancing sunny head and nami mandarin and bath room. money can insert from ship wheel there and take out under the middle ship coup de burst. it took me 5 month to do it after 4 times failed

I just assembled my 1600 Yen version of this ship. Can anyone tell me how big this is compared to the Budget version? Is it 2 times larger? I'm a little dismayed at the size of mine.
