You are the Abuelita I wished my real Abuela was. There’s NO WAY that chronologically you could actually be my abuela, we are clearly too close in age, but your wisdom and talent takes you from being an “abuela”…literally grandmother…to an “Abuelita” which to me means “extremely wise and dear older” female. That’s a long winded way of saying your videos really mean a lot to me and I appreciate each and every lesson. I hope that your own children and grandchildren realize what a treasure you are!!! I recently moved from south Texas to Colorado and the mexican food in restaurants is different here. I really miss my Texican foods. I am soo glad that you share all your wonderful dishes here so I can recreate them at my home and get the taste of south Texas here.
In queso you don't know it, I don't think there is anything delicious you can't make including this queso flameado. I'm so excited to see your recipe on making chorizo as I also make my own using my mama's recipe, I learned from just watching her make. Rachel, you are like Ina Garten, every thing she makes is good, she doesn’t have a bad recipe, and usually it’s simple to make, it might not be quick, but it’s not fussy. You could make mud mole served over shredded cardboard and pea gravel, and it’d be tasty, or you’d convince us it was, just watching you eat your own cooking inspires us. Love you!
