If you're looking for a small SUV. This is the one. Had ours almost a year no regrets. Power is fine. The nav screen is perfect. You're only two feet away. Why do you need an 8" screen unless you're blind. ALL cars have road noise. With the radio on there is no noise. People complaining about it are crazy.
Just got a new CX5. we love it. Honda CRV was top contender but nowhere near as nice looking. Looks dated inside and out. Also considered the Escape. We drove several, and did not care for the cheaper build and feel, noticed in the drive too. We could've gotten a great deal but just couldn't do it. Also the CX5 got best safety out of all SUVs. The Ford failed front crash test badly. That was of huge concern. On the Mazda, we don't notice any noise on highway, nothing more than any avg. car. We didn't get the navigation because we don't need it, and that's the only thing that seems to get negative remarks. Anyhow, the CX5 looks great, feels real peppy and solid feel. We are getting great MPG compared to our older Rav4. With any car, nothing's perfect, figure what's most important to you/your family and narrow it down.
If you want this car to be fun, you should really try the manual transmission 2.0 liter engine FWD. I know it sounds crazy, but trust me. The car is lighter that way, more nimble and more fun to maneuver, and the manual transmission is superb quality, even rivaling those found on more expensive cars, just a joy to row your own gears in this thing. It is the smaller engine, but with the manual transmission and lighter weight, you're able to get some good speed out of it.
I agree about the manual transmission. I'm disappointed though that it's not available with the AWD. Only way I would consider this car is if/when the AWD version has a manual transmission option.
J Alenichev well in the USA where I live, where manual transmissions are becoming an endangered species, they treat manual transmissions like they're the economy special, so you often only get them on the base models unless you're talking sports cars. I imagine in other countries, particularly in Europe, the CX-5 may well be available with AWD with the manual transmission.
Looked at a Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, the Ford Edge before deciding on the Subaru Forester. Bigger inside than the others and not so big that you have to take an MPG hit.
I did the same and I am glad I did, it has so much more room inside , even more room than a Volvo xc60, and if you drive it economically it get better mileage than the manufacturers stated figures on the highway s far I managed to get 16km/L over a distance of 20km , this is with the AC on full and outside tem 40c. loving it more everyday. 2.5 with cvt.
Me says it has regenerative braking, it does not. The Mazda 6, which I own is the only model with their iEloop system which captures engine braking power and stores it in a capacitor for use in powering electrical systems. The CX-5 doesn't have it but they should consider adding it because on my Mazda 6 I am averaging in real life 35-37 mpg and it's a rather large mid sized sedan not pregnant roller skate which is your only other option aside from a full hybrid. That's not highway, but total overall average at ~ 50% city 50% highway driving.
The US back seats don't fold well because Mazda USA chose the lower grade headrests. Rest of world uses the Volvo style headrests which can be brought down to be flush with seats making the folding easy.
I've owned the 2.0 liter version of this car for about 2 years now and cannot at all agree with the feeling it has a lack of power(i mean this is not a race car) and i have traveled a lot with it fully loaded with 3 adults and lots of cargo, lets consider that this is not a Camaro or a Mustang . compared with regular family cars this has a lot of power vs the rest of the cars in the road, i have been driving lately a Chevrolet Cruze and a Dogde Dart and my CX5 outperforms them by a 150% the least, also you only have to remove the headrest in the backseats to lay them down nicely and quickly.
The AWD is heavier than the FWD as is always the case in any car. Also if you get the larger 2.5 liter engine, that adds a bit of weight as well. The 2.0 liter FWD CX-5 weighs almost exactly the same as a Mazda6 sedan! Unbelievably light for an SUV.
I've owned this car for about four months now and cannot at all agree with the feeling it has a lack of power. On paper of course it does, if you need 200+ HP for some reason, but I don't and never will with this because I understand exactly what it is meant to do.
Mazda sure has come a long way since their popular GLC model of the mid to late 1970's....! Not bad looking either, but EMME adds some class to the over all picture too... ;-)
Oh I love car manufactures who claim percentage increases in chassis rigidity, it's like detergent manufacturers who claim 11% more efficiency in your next load of washing, by now everything on the market should be about 457% more efficient than when production began.
It really begs the question why they haven't taken the nav system and infotainment interface from the new Mazda 3 and placed it in the rest of their line.
andyhoov The Mazda 3 solution was chosen after Mazda had already had frustration with the TomTom on CX-5 and 6. Unfortunately you'll find the answer is either that changing would require a long re-engineer and costly change in changing the production line OR they have a contract with TomTom to provide the GPS on those models for X length of time.
Emme is such a great reviewer. And SO attractive too. Always been my favorite. She knows her stuff and doesn't try to act like someone she's not. Glad she's over here now with the boys. I do like the CX-5 tho, low power or not. If I didn't want a pickup so bad I'd give the Mazda a chance.
I am pretty sure this was the Grand Touring trim, with the 19" wheels, leather and navigation, not the Touring trim. Also, iELoop regenerative breaking is not available, at least not in the US. The CX-5 weigh about the same as a CR-V and RAV-4 but 100 less than a similarly equipped Escape. You make it sound like it is short on power, which it does not for the class.
At the end of January. You should go see it at your local autoshow. It looks wayy better inside and out than the 14-15 model. Few subtle changes on the outside but great changes inside.
We almost bought one of these. It is a nice small SUV, almost perfect, but a few important things were a deal breaker. 1. Too much wind and road noise from 60mph and above. 2. Not enough power. 3. Some cheap plastics. I could have overlooked number three fine but not the first two. Also, I don't think it's four wheel drive system is as good as VW's 4motion, Jeeps, or Subaru. If Mazda can at least finally get that diesel over here and also put in some more sound insulation it would be worth looking at it again.
Thumbs up for the CX-5 diesel. I have one here in Australia. Superb diesel that makes others look like they are 5 years behind. Best comparison to show how far ahead it is, is when you compare the CX-5 to the Tiguan. The VW TSI Gasoline model is rev happy and the performer, but the TDI has the fuel economy. Jump into the CX-5 and it's a contrast. The 2.5L Gasoline is as lazy as the Tiguan TDI, while being as thirsty as the Tiguan TSI - i.e. the worst of both worlds. Meanwhile the CX-5 Diesel outperforms the Tiguan TSI by a massive margin, and also outperforms the fuel economy of the Tiguan TDI. Idle them next to each other and the Tiguan diesel drivers cry too. The CX-5 diesel is lighter, more rev happy - and sounds like a deep throated gasoline rather than a tractor. Having driven the CX-5 2.0L, 2.5L Skyactiv-G's..... they paled in comparison to the 2.2L diesel monster.
I bought a 2014 cx5 touring. I was sorry I did. I owned it for about 8 months and traded it in for a Ford Escape. The road/wind noise was horrendous....you couldn't even hear the radio. I also thought the heating system was bad. We have cold winters here. If it got down to around zero or lower, it would take forever for it to put out any heat. And when it did put out some heat, if you went down a hill, the cold engine light would come back on and start blowing cool/cold air. I complained for months about these problems and they said they could not find anything wrong and that wind noise and the heating issue were "characteristic". I emailed corporate Mazda and all they would say is that I had to work with the local dealership.....who wouldn't acknowledge a problem existed. I finally got fed up, I was not going to drive a vehicle that I was so frustrated with. I drove down to Ford...they had some really good incentives at the time. I got an 2014 Escape SE....and I love it. Best decision I ever made was to get rid of that Cx 5..
Yeah, the Ford was pretty nice too. I also really liked the Subaru Forester. I'm happy though with my VW Tiguan. Having one minor problem with a door seal making the widow a little too frosty. It also whistles sometimes. I have to get that fixed. Everything else has worked like a charm. Even though it is 4-wheel drive I might get some good snow/ice tires for it. The Mazda was nice but glad I made the call about the wind noise. I didn't know about that bad heater so it was the right decision. Hope you didn't lose too much money on the trade.
Chris Free regarding the CX-5 diesel... I live in Australia where diesel is typically more expensive. $1.49 per litre versus $1.20 non-diesel. I was sceptical about the saving given the diesel is a far more expensive engine. Would the saving off-set the cost. After testing the 2.0L Skyactiv-G against the 2.2L I suppose answer was - it didn't matter. The diesel is far more capable in every single measure. It's a such an easy engine to live with on a day to day basis that the saving didn't matter. But nearly 3 years with this vehicle it's proving to become better and better with age. The diesel has a much longer lifetime. It's performing much better than when new posting 6.5L/100km (or 37mpg) in the city - a figure impossible when it was new, and impossible by a fair margin by the gasoline/petrol engine. Add to that it performs like a V8 engine, and you get the best of both worlds. It's quite unique for a diesel in that Mazda's diesel is designed in a completely different way to other manufacturers. It's much lighter, high revving and quieter than anything else. I'd driven the VW Tiguan diesel and it feels like it's a decade behind. It's slow, noisy, sluggish and only matches the CX-5 on one thing - fuel economy. So pleased that I made the choice for the diesel. The fact that resale is so high still (we're getting 70% after 3 year here versus 65% for the petrol) you get your investment back in day to day driving and resale. This car is going to do an easy 10 year run though without breaking a sweat.
Such an underrated SUV. If I read correctly, they're outselling Mazda 3s. A MazdaSpeed CX-5 just needs the upgraded engine, the 6 speed, and AWD. I don't know if the price of the vehicle can be justified for the market.
Yes agree BUT thats why I bought the 2014 Mazda 3. The Tech system is a newer&faster platform. Thats only with the Mazda 3. And the Mazda 3 has a 7 inch screen..lol. Way bigger. The interior of the 3 looks like a luxury brand like BMW or Audi. Cause of the Ipad attach to the dashboard so that its eye level to the road for safety. And the touch screen is not that big to block your view & the perfect size. If its any bigger it might block ur view of the road. Good thing is that the touch screen is bright so U can see it easily&U can turn it down 👇 during the night if its too bright.
***** Too late..lol. The dude is crying after reading ur comment because he just purchased something else..haha:) Oh well its his loss..lol. Have U seen the interior of the new Mazda 6??? Improved interior with leather padding on the dashboard. More soft touch interior. Screen is 7 inch & wide screen
I'd like reviewers to do a night review. I'd like to see how well the lights illuminate the road, are the console lights easy to see, is the touch screen a distraction. Things like that.
What stop me to buy cx5 are 1. No power lift gate , 2. Navi screen is too small, 3. Horsepower and torque are not enough, 4. No air fan in the back seat ...
When you see this having 184 HP and then compare it to a '16 Ford Escape 2.0 with 260 HP.... Is it really that much of a difference? Doesn't the weight of the SUV's come into play, as far as the HP difference and feel. Even just car brands in general. Mazda, versus Ford in this example. Is one brand's HP better than the other's? I know the Ecoboost versus non-Ecoboost would make a difference too.
There are two things Mazda must do to improve the company. I think they have to make their cars with quitter cabins, and they must improve their infotainment systems. My wife and i love the driving dynamics of Mazdas, but we both have passed on Mazda and went with the competition because of Mazdas poor cabin insulation and less than average infotainment system.
Agree with what U said about the wind noise. But I can tell U the 2014 Mazda 3. Wind noise wasnt an issue for me cause I dont care about that. And I like my music loud. Now if U have a family and want to buy Midsize sedan or bigger vehicles like crossovers or SUVs. Then I can understand why that is important. Didnt test drive the 6 or CX5. So I couldnt tell U about the insulations? And yes the infotainment systems are slow & only have a 5.8 size touch screen..BUT thats for all of the Mazdas BUT the Mazda 3. It uses the newer&faster infotainment system even on the 2014 Mazda 3s. And the Touch screen is 7 inches:) And thats why I got it:) Besides these 2 minor things Mazda is top in gas mileage, reliability & fun steering/power:) And the looks both interiors&exteriors for all Mazdas look the best in their class. No cheap materials&looks more expensive like a luxury car.Almost more European than Japanese..lol. Safety is top rated. Mazda 3 was Autoguides car of the yr last yr. And Mazda 6 was runner up. It won not just in its class. But overall. Beating out Benz & Caddy. Consumer Report most reliable cars of last yr put Mazda number #5. This yr Mazda jumped 2 spots to number#3. Only Lexus&Toyota hold their 2 top spots. Which isnt surprising cause I had a Camry for 2 decades. Both Lexus & Toyota are basically the same company so Mazda is basically 2nd most reliable really..lol. But even in the last few yrs/months even Toyota&Honda had recalls. Nissan the most. And also Ford, Audi, Lexus, etc.. Subaru has recalls in the states with oil problems. But they have been generally reliable. But only Mazda has had zero recalls. Especially since they got rid of partnering with Ford & work alone since developing their SkyActiv Tech Engines:)
Excellent review on a really good vehicle. I have been a fan of Mazda's for quite a while. Good, simple vehicles. Not over tech, but not missing anything either. And Emme, I don't want to disregard how good you are at your job, but I have to comment on how good you look in that blouse. Nice, reasonably conservative, and honest. Just like you. Beautiful, but human. Thank you.
You also forgot that manual is available in front wheel drive ONLY. I wanted this car so bad and i only want manual gear box, but, since they don't offer it with all wheel drive i had to step away from the purchase. So if you want stick shift in this car, forget the all wheel drive. :( Comon Mazda!!!
adyyy22 Why is AWD so important? It only adds weight to the car and makes it less fun to drive. If I was going to buy this car I would just get the FWD version because it's lighter and faster hence more fun to drive...also it gets better mpg.
bokkey45 That's your opinion. My opinion is, its pointless to buy a CUV with just front wheel drive, especially if you live North with heavy winters. Besides, CUV's are not made to be fun to drive but to be safe, reliable, comfortable carriers. Why would anyone buy a CUV to have fun with it? Also, some of the fastest cars in the world are all wheel drive, GT-R case in point. GT-R is also one of the more popular cars with car enthusiasts and it's all wheel drive. Gas mileage is honestly that much different too. It would add up over the years, but all wheel drive is so worth it in snowy conditions.
adyyy22 "all wheel drive is so worth it in snowy conditions"...you sound like a used car salesman. All wheel drive makes little to no difference in the snow compared to FWD. It's used as a sales pitch to trick buyers into paying extra for their cars. Good traction in slippery conditions is all about having the right tires. I've driven plenty of both FWD and AWD cars in the snow, there is no noticeable difference in performance and traction. Point is: if you can't handle a FWD car in the snow, you won't be able to handle an AWD car in the snow either. As for the fun aspect: Mazda engineered this car to be sporty and fun to drive. It is one of the most fun to drive crossovers on the market. I've driven a few and they are a blast. The reason I would buy a CX-5 would be to have a fun sporty vehicle with the advantage of more cargo space. If you were looking on the side of comfort rather than sport, why are you so concerned with having a manual?
bokkey45 I have a Forester and a Camry. Forester with poor tires is still so much easier to maneuver in the snow. It does make a difference, and how! I have to disagree with you on this. Now mind you, stopping with all wheel drive makes no difference to FWD, still have to drive slow if you want to stop when icy. This is where people make big mistakes with AWD. Mazda designed it to be sporty because Mazda does and has been doing it for a long time. This is when you also lose comfort which most people buy CUV's for. Keyword, most. It all comes down to the preference, but majority people buy them for, like i said: practicality, comfort, durability, etc. I myself would prefer Mazda over other CUV's because it is more fun to drive and more driver oriented, where competition is more family oriented. Manual is something i have been driving ever since i started. Preferred it then and will continue until my heath allows it and until there are manuals still available. It's a dying breed anyhow. It would be hard to get used to automatic, i mean not really hard, just i hate automatics, especially this new crap CVT.
Nice Job! Well done review. I like the regenerative brakes on a non-hybrid car. A car this size... (I know Mazda focuses on mileage) but, it needs 230-240 HP.... Why not add some power with a hybrid system? My question (for a long time) why no V6 Mazda6 or better yet bring back a Millennia... I'll pass on 929 Lol.. . a SkyActiv Millennia V6 ....Nice to drive Nice to look at Sedan!
Do not like the mean looking front grille just too aggressive looking, the code name "SkyActiv" has no meaning to most of shoppers just like Honda's Earth Dream". I wish they not referring to these name. 19" tire is extremely over kill, looks when is new, cost more money to replace them. Just like Rogue with Family pkg comes with run flat tires, these tires cost extra $100 each lol,
Mean looking Front grill doesnt look good..LMAO 😂??? Thats one of the main reasons I wouldnt get the older Mazda 3s. Cause it was known as the smiley/Joker face..LMAO 😂 It was a big joke but not now with the newer 2014 front grills that look amazing. All of the Mazda lineups look good both interior & exterior. Build quality is way better than the older models & they have no cheap hard plastics like the older generation models. All the new models both exteriors & especially interiors look like Luxury European cars like the BMW&Audi. Especially with the Mazda 3 & its control knob&touch screen sitting on the dash:)
I must strongly disagree. Mazdas are so goofy looking with those stupid grinning grills. It really detracts from I would normally consider excellent vehicles.
Well those grinning grills are gone bud. The KODO design language (although I'm not sure if it's a 'language') brings all the Mazdas their mean looks and all the automotive journalists have praised it's aggresive design amongst good overall SKYACTIV engine, transmission ,chassis, and more.
Yes ,but would you consider a shitpot quality Audi or VW? and considering MB are facing a quality problems in the USA recently with massive cylinder head leakage engine problems.
"You didn't arrive at a full stop at the "Stop" sign...you also neglected to enter a roadway not yielding when it was clear to do so and risked causing an accident on a professional review...then laughed and mocked the other vehicle you moderately cut off when you were clearly in the wrong. It seems that you need a retest on the "driving habits portion" of the "road rules". Risking an accident during a review that many will see is an idiot move I wish to never see on any professional review.
+MilanoFootball You have to be kidding or just blind. Tucson interior is full of hard recycled plastic and looks very outdated. Cheap and tacky interior is just what you get with the Tucson...nice try.
+Alex Eu These guys work for Hyundai and spam car videos all over youtube. Just look at their google plus accounts. They have like 15 different accounts which are all connected.
Go check the 2015 JD Power Vehicle Quality and Reliability Study results. Hyundai and KIA now make the highest quality and most reliable cars in the auto industry. Mazda cars are among the worst quality along with Fiat and Subaru.
UltimateDriver I agree. Hyundai and KIA make very high quality cars. Mazda is Japan's poor man's car. Toyota and Honda is Japan's good car. Japanese rich people buy German cars.
+UltimateDriver Since Mazda divorced Ford their vehicles are very reliable. If you had kept up with car ratings for the past 3 years, Mazda have surpassed Hyundai/Kia in reliability...fact.
Korean cars for people who just start engine and drive at 80 km with fully packed features ( shetty quality ) but for people who likes to have fun car and care about how the car it handles it self sorry it's the worst cars you can get :) I rent Kia Optima for 2 days and the only way I can describe it one of the worst cars I ever drove .
I don't think it's useless, if you can't see anything behind you, such as a child or small vehicle, because automakers today are making rear visibility less important, when it comes to aerodynamics and styling. There are so many reports of children dying in back up crashes without backup cameras in the US, especially with SUVs, because the rear windows are higher and not lower. Having blind spots is dangerous when driving.
If you're looking for a small SUV. This is the one. Had ours almost a year no regrets. Power is fine. The nav screen is perfect. You're only two feet away. No flack about her this time, guys. She really loves what she does and we should at least appreciate that.
halogen headlamps are safer for everyone driving. LED's cause accidents.

Manual socks
To be honest, everyone uses Google Maps on their phones that performs much better than any car navigation system.
Looked at a Honda CR-V, Mazda CX-5, the Ford Edge before deciding on the Subaru Forester. Bigger inside than the others and not so big that you have to take an MPG hit.

I would like to see a comparison between the CX5 and Subaru Forester 2.5..
3600lb is pretty heavy? It's one of the lightest crossovers and 184hp means it has one of the best power to weight ratios on the market.
sic22l It actually weighs 3355 lbs. I don't know where they got the 3600 lbs from.
Lane Skelton Maybe the tested version (with bigger engine and presumably 4x4) is heavier?
The AWD is heavier than the FWD as is always the case in any car. Also if you get the larger 2.5 liter engine, that adds a bit of weight as well. The 2.0 liter FWD CX-5 weighs almost exactly the same as a Mazda6 sedan! Unbelievably light for an SUV.

perhaps you should mention WHICH MODEL IS THIS AT THE FRONT OF THE VIDEO?
I don't think our '15 CX-5 GT w/ Tech has regenerative braking (i-ELOOP)...think that's Mazda6 and Mazda3 tech packages only
Great review, though!
I thought it did not come on the CX-5 I thought only 6 and 3
Mazda sure has come a long way since their popular GLC model of the mid to late 1970's....! Not bad looking either, but EMME adds some class to the over all picture too... ;-)
I love my 2015 mazda cx5 I did a review on myn to
This little CUV has sporty aspirations I wonder why Mazda doesn't do paddle shifters? It would be more of a hoot to drive
Does Mazda build the automatic transmission? Starting in what year for the CX-5?
Oh I love car manufactures who claim percentage increases in chassis rigidity, it's like detergent manufacturers who claim 11% more efficiency in your next load of washing, by now everything on the market should be about 457% more efficient than when production began.
Ever since its debut, the cx5 hit the ground running and never looked back.
Sexy Emme!
The 2015 CRV has radar cruise and other new features. When will you get that to review?
lol the navigation is directly from Tom Tom. and yes, they have some outdated menus
And that's not good for safety. It takes the driver's eyes off of the road for to long!
It really begs the question why they haven't taken the nav system and infotainment interface from the new Mazda 3 and placed it in the rest of their line.
andyhoov Agreed!

Get a used Mazda b3000 pickup. You get a Mazda and a pickup even though it's just a rebadged ford but hey it says Mazda on it.
Jimmy M too small inside for me. LOL I meant I'd take this over a Rav or CR-V or something.
VaperBok75 oh ok I see.
Is it really that low on power, though? The RAV4 only has 176 horsepower.
I also am not a fan of all the tech in cars today. The driving experience gets diluted.
Hey, what cameras were used to film this review besides the gopros?
Nikon D7000.
I am pretty sure this was the Grand Touring trim, with the 19" wheels, leather and navigation, not the Touring trim.
Also, iELoop regenerative breaking is not available, at least not in the US.

Emmy is kinda hot. Any girl that likes cars is hot in my book.
She's cool
What is regenative breaking? Did she mean regenerative?
This car is just like you, Emme! Small with a big personality :)
#teamMazda
Gayyyyy
This is the first time I've watched this channel, but I'll be back for more! Emme is a hoot (Unh, yeah, 4!) 🤣
When will the 2016 mazda cx5 be available for sale?
At the end of January. You should go see it at your local autoshow. It looks wayy better inside and out than the 14-15 model. Few subtle changes on the outside but great changes inside.
Has Emmy ever snapped a laundry basket when closing the trunk? :D

Mazda really needs to improve the Nav system. Seriously, Mazda make it 8" or 10" screen size.
Good thing is that the touch screen is bright so U can see it easily&U can turn it down 👇 during the night if its too bright.
you got your wish...the 2016 has a much improved nav and 7in screen
***** Too late..lol. The dude is crying after reading ur comment because he just purchased something else..haha:)
Oh well its his loss..lol.
Have U seen the interior of the new Mazda 6??? Improved interior with leather padding on the dashboard. More soft touch interior. Screen is 7 inch & wide screen
Down here in Mexico we get the s GT model with Xenon and lane departure warning :)
We get that here also. It's an option-the Technology package available both on the Touring and Grand Touring.
And the Touch screen is 7 inches:) And thats why I got it:)
Besides these 2 minor things Mazda is top in gas mileage, reliability & fun steering/power:)
And the looks both interiors&exteriors for all Mazdas look the best in their class.
Built quality for Mazdas is top of its class:)
Mazda CX-5: A Small Crossover with a Big Personality.
Emmie Hall: A Tall Beautiful Girl with a Huge Personality!!!!!!
Forester XT is my choice
4:50 shows 18.4mpg, is that real world gas mileage? If that's the case it's worse than many V6 SUVs.
Thank you.
mustang 0 to 60 pleaaseee and any news about the henssey
You also forgot that manual is available in front wheel drive ONLY. I wanted this car so bad and i only want manual gear box, but, since they don't offer it with all wheel drive i had to step away from the purchase. So if you want stick shift in this car, forget the all wheel drive. :( Comon Mazda!!!
you're best option for a AWD brand new car would be the base Subaru Forester manual.
adyyy22 Why is AWD so important? It only adds weight to the car and makes it less fun to drive. If I was going to buy this car I would just get the FWD version because it's lighter and faster hence more fun to drive...also it gets better mpg.
bokkey45
That's your opinion.
If you were looking on the side of comfort rather than sport, why are you so concerned with having a manual?
bokkey45
I have a Forester and a Camry.
A nice SUV indeed, good job Mazda!
i bought this car because of your review in 2013
Nice review as always, Emme.
You mentioned the Honda CR-V earlier, have you (and TFL Car) driven the new 2015 version?
Great review !
many car makes still use halogen headlamps. even premium manufacturers like mercedes and bmw.
2015 Car with a key hole for the divers door wow.
Emme, I'd love to see what you've got behind you, but you never turn round. At 5:28, however, I almost saw what you've got in front of you !!!!! ;-)))
Scott Campbell Absolutely spot on. ;-)))
where is she now i dont see her in car review anymore
does it have ovrdrive
"HE,HE!!! Sorry Toyota!" - Hilarious
Love you guys, but she is AWESOME! This review is really gonna help me sell this car to my better half. #zoomzoom
Mazda, please please please bring the 2.2 Skyactiv Diesel from Europe for the CX-5. Better mpg's and more power. Hello??!
I assume it is regenerative, not regenitive.
Emme, remove the head rest. That is how it is done in my parent's Escape.
Cause it was known as the smiley/Joker face..LMAO 😂
It was a big joke but not now with the newer 2014 front grills that look amazing.
That camera work though...
shifting with a stick is "not fun"? really? video loses all credibility.
only 184 hp? you americans! we call that a lot here
Interior sucks compare to the new CX-3. Just like Kia's Sportage, beautiful outside ugly inside.
AWSOME!! Can't wait for Mazdas upcoming Diesel engine! My second choice would be Honda CR-V and their upcoming HR-V
She starts with the lowest trim and not tech package 🙄
Just get a GTI. Better in every way except for reliability.
It's bigger than i thought,cx-9 is bigger
Sky active engine very troublesome. I would not buy another one
Sorry, but I don't like reviewer.
There was no test drive at all.
It looks like. Worthy Of An Oscar. squeak plot What's your opinion about it !
horrible the screen is very simple and ugly needs more hp or turbo
Mazda needs to hurry up with a rortory engine rx7. Rx8 was not good at all.
What about gas
the car is nice...but the lady is nicer...lol
No turbo? I mean comon....
I highly recommend buying the 2016 Hyundai Tucson instead.
The 2015 Mazda CX-5's interior is cheap and tacky.
MilanoFootball The 2016 Hyundai Tucson is like the BMW X5 of Asia.
Gianluca Cannavo really? Crazy
+MilanoFootball Haven't seen the Tucson, it might be nice but I feel the CX-5 interior is perfect.
This car is ugly compared to Mazda 6
Go check the 2015 JD Power Vehicle Quality and Reliability Study results. Hyundai and KIA now make the highest quality and most reliable cars in the auto industry.
Mazda cars are among the worst quality along with Fiat and Subaru.
UltimateDriver Hyundai makes the most reliable cars. I think everyone who lives in 2015 knows this.
You try to spread Korean propaganda, but you're obviously failing.
Korean cars for people who just start engine and drive at 80 km with fully packed features ( shetty quality )
but for people who likes to have fun car and care about how the car it handles it self sorry it's the worst cars you can get :)
I rent Kia Optima for 2 days and the only way I can describe it one of the worst cars I ever drove .
Rear view cameras are so useless. They put them in cars so women buy them.
In a few years its required on all new vehicles in the US.
Tim Joseph We should start by putting back up cameras on big trucks (53 feet) and then put them on cars, not the opposite.
Need more hp!
This sub is nice, but Mazda won't last too long so never get the 60 month lease if your getting it
Another shoemaker...
