😢 38 yrs old in this stupid game for 15 yrs….failed iuis and numerous rounds of femera and natural attempts futile of course. Weve been on a hard break for 2 yrs. I’m finally at a healthy weight and we are financially in a good place so we are going onattempt IVF. Hopefully going for egg retrieval in the next couple months after myomectomy in October. Then by this time next year hope to transfer. My insurance does cover a good amount of retrievals but covers almost no medication or genetic testing. So this one try may be all we have for now.ugh infertility has ruined me . I do love the freedom my husband and I have had the last 20 yrs we visited Scotland one more time this spring because I’m hoping we can focus on creating our family from this year on out. but I steer clear of people with children friends and family with kids. I just can’t do it. My husband is better and cope much better than me. Once we have a child, I can relate more but it hurts too much. If we are successful with IVF one bundle may be all we can have and I will be forever greatful
For cosmetic products, she may be referring to retinols and tretinoin and and hydroquinone and even growth factors. Which aren't necessarily considered toxic like a paraben or phthalate but should be avoided in pregnancy. I've set my retinol and tretinoin aside while doing IVF.
I had a elective tubal ligation and now regret it and want to start IVF. Are there ever any circumstances when insurance will cover the process? My insurance covers up to $50,000 for Fertility treatment, but I haven't had my consult yet and I'm worried my insurance won't cover any of it.

Someone I know, who is my 'buddy system' during this process, is pregnant through IVF so I feel like I am alone on an island again. Wow first IVF baby, amazing! I hope you could do more videos on tips for the transfer. How to get everything down there healthy to transfer. How to keep everything down there healthy after the transfer. Stuff like that. My delay right now is getting the 'perfect' environment for the transfer. I had a bacterial infection that my doctor made it seem like it just shows up and asymptomatic 🤷🏻♀️ they couldn't say how to prevent it but that it could come back. For myself I just started taking a probiotic by HUM and drink a cup of pure unsweetened cranberry juice everyday untill my next biopsy.

Hi Dr Shahine, I have gone through 1st attempt on IVF, but during the harvest on the egg, my specialist Dr found out that all my egg is empty. Now i am waiting for my September cycle for another attempt. Any tips for me. Currently I am taking Omega-3, DHEA, Vitamin D3 (1000IU) and Fortelle. Appreciate your kind advice.
… I decided to not go to Italy. 😮 - indirectly the IVF meant I couldn’t budget for the trip and with a new job, I couldn’t afford to take days off without enough PTO. On another note, I just ran to my book by Rebecca just to find your name and your review :) I def read and asked my doc about all the things she’s covered. It started my journey to change everything I used from shampoos to face wash to avoiding bpa (I now own all these glass containers and bottles), and receipts (sanitize after every touch).
Such valid points! Emotional bombs are so complicated with secondary infertility. My son just turned two and we have been trying for over a year now for our second baby. I will sometimes look at him and think, thank God you are here. Sometimes though I think, man I really want another perfect little human in our family.

I just went to my fertility a few months ago after that they found that I have a fibroid in my uterus so my Dr. Told me to remove that I went to surgery a couple of days later, and after I healed I will go back to my fertility Dr. To start IVF, but I worried a little bit if how many % chances to get pregnant at my Age?

We are currently trying 8 years and we have tried with natural treatments and ovulation induction they didn’t work for us and we thinking to start ivf Iam 36 now and my partner 37. Only thing my everything inside perfect and only thing hard to get a correct BMI my BMI 34. Iam going to start ivf with high doses what do you think about that. Please give me a advice thanks.

Hello doctor .i am 32 years old suffering from vaginismus.we thought of getting pregnant and was doing initial blood work .next week i will be having discussion with my gynaecologist about the finding .i also found that i have less than 5cm cyst in my left ovary .is it harmful or it will go away by own ..also ,do you recommend iui or ivf with vaginismus.
I have vaginismus and just had my first appointment with my fertility appointment the dr recommended that I don’t do iui and go straight to ivf as iui will be to painful for me Due to having to put the speculum in a lot more that with ivf which I think is good It’s a lot of money but it will be worth it when I have a baby

One of my friends told me she was pregnant from a ONS and getting an abortion while i was days away from starting my first IVF cycle, but I'm very glad that they were very considerate of my feelings throughout the whole thing. I followed her to her abortion as well, and it stung at some points but I'm glad we could still be there for each other. "That'll be me some day"... to the pregnancy not the abortion haha

My Anti-Mullerian Hormone blood test result on 2022 is 10.2 pmol/L but suddenly this year drop to 2.61 pmol/L. I am 39 years old.
But 10.2 seems like you have Pcos or some other condition etc?
I am thankful so far that seeing others with their babies doesn't affect me negatively. Hope it can stay this way. 🙏
