My Dad who is a retired barber was hired for the scene of Sylvester Stallone's character to show how a barber holds a straight razor. So in that scene it's my dad's hands shaving not Stallone. He said Stallone was a true gentleman. Very nice to everyone.

I always wondered why it took so long for Sly to get into the gangster genre. He’s a perfect character.

I'm thinking it's corny because it's meant to be. There were moments that made me laugh and I turned to my wife and said, "I don't think this is supposed to be a serious mafia show. It's kind of corny but funny and entertaining." When I view it in that context, I like it. Almost a satire of mob life.

It’s a mix of Rocky and mafia. Perfect fit. The show is a dark comedy and unique.

Stallone is perfect casting. Worlds collide when mafia meets middle America. I'm sold already with episode 1. A fresh lighter side mob series.

May be unrealistic but I thought the first episode was great! Stallone was great in this role!

That's kinda the point it's meant to kinda be a parody of the mob and show how after doing 25 years he's out of touch with today's society and his actions are funny because of it

It’s definitely a tongue in cheek take on the mafia, I knew from the first scenes not to take it too seriously 😂

Michael, your stories are great and the way you tell it's easy to listen to. So why not get in touch with Stallone and interview him. That would be a very interesting interview I'm sure a lot of people would enjoy!

Tulsa King is an excellent show. I wish Paramount had released all of season one so my wife and I could binge-watch it. Engaging, intelligent, surprising, emotionally rewarding, consistent characters with compelling motivations-Tulsa King has it all. Top marks!

Michael, I agree it may not have been authentic, certainly Sly punching the boss's son would have been infamita but the shake down scene at the pot place was a riot. I couldn't stop laughing. So, whereas it may not have been authentic it was funny and entertaining, and I have to say Sly is great in this. I plan on watching future shows. Una vera piacere

I was amused by the whole fish out of water in the show. Stallone was great as always. And while some of the stuff may have not totally been 100, it made for an amusing tale so far to me.

I watched the 1st episode and within the first few minutes I was in love with the show. I am a huge fan of Sylvester Stallone and have been my whole life. In the series his balance between mob guy and humor is amazing and spot on. Poor guy is totally out of his element in Tulsa and the confusion he brings to the people he encounters is a riot lol

One of the best lines in the show, (when referencing Dwight's Tulsa crew)... "It was like the f--ing Village People". 🤣😂🤣😂🤣
