What I appreciate about the video is that we see that any community can be impacted by the allure of crime, so as a society we should focus what attracts youth to this path and what can be done to divert them to healthier paths. My mother told me about Dawood ibrahim. He was the son of a police constable and somehow became a leading figure of the Bombay underworld. Many Bollywood films are based on him.

I watched a documentary on th Westies & they said just about th same as what Michael said, but it was reversed on Mickey & Coonan. Not only am I a teacher, I’m also a father of 3 beautiful godsend girls, a husband, and a self motivator, especially during challenging times (I don’t say “difficult.”). I usually keep my language positive for myself, my family, friends, my coworkers, students, and others.
I loved that "Onion Head" AKA. When you flashed his photo, I started laughing...no doubt, the kid's head did look like an onion!
Hey Mr. Franzese! Great content as usual. I don't know if you can or you cant but could you speak on Cosa Nostra in Florida? Its usually briefly mentioned in movies and documentaries but I've never heard the history of the mafia in Florida even though gangsters were down there.

Yes, I think that is a relatively unknown and underappreciated series. So well-made. Yes fictional liberties were taken, but a lot of that stuff was historically accurate. I put it right up there with the Sopranos.

The fact that Italians are so Patriotic in terms of supporting the USA constitution and everything about it, sometimes just that sole thing brings tears to my eyes, I absolutely LOVE Italian MOB culture and Italian perse as a country, much love from Deutschland!
I have always felt the same way, not only are Italian mobsters Loyal, Patriotic Americans, But they also lean heavily into conservative values, God, Country, Family, low taxes, small government, less government intervention LOL wait a minute I'm starting to see a pattern here.

I heard of Shondor Birns after I saw Kill The Irishman. And according to the movie, his car bomb was planted by Danny Greene.
Also, Mickey Featherstone was the basis for Gary Old man's character in State Of Grace(1990).

I've often wondered why when you are talking about a certain member or associate and you say"he was a good guy", yet he may have been violent and participated in mob activity. Most of them did not turn their lives around if they had the chance like you did, becoming a born again Christian, devoting yourself to your wife and family and doing good in the community.
