Get your assets in gear with Instamat! Good find. Your map is coming along too, I like what I see. If you arent submitting to modhub I wouldnt worry much about the file size. It would be nice to have the option of a nicely detailed map for those not sweating the resources thing.
Probably not submitting to Modhub, but still undecided. That folder has to be reworked, as do some of the assets, so the size of the folder will come down - how much remains to be seen.
I can see instamat going the way confusion 360 did. Over time the free version loses more and more functionality as they try to force you into the paid version. I just found cad sketcher for blender, it brings true cad functionality to blender and is free. There are always alternatives out there.
There's not too many places you really could. I suppose if you wanted, you could mention it somewhere in your modDesc or povide a readme, other than that I'm not sure I'd really worry about it all that much TBH.
Honestly, you don't even need the building shader with this program. In this program and SP, the specular map is based off the 3D mesh which makes all the difference. The building shader is just a glorified specular map with added info for dirt and moss which I can live without because you have the ability to add as much dirt and moss as you want in the process of painting. There are plenty of times I don't bother using it for various reasons and you would never know. Working with texture atlases, that shader is needed badly.
@@bauerbrown i've been messing around with it today. really is a good software considering it's free. can't seem to get a export template like the one you have though.
@@bauerbrown i did yeah i like it but i do tend to find myself going back to subtance painter although vertex have changed things up with the materials so looking to try invest more time into this software
YEA i got signed in and password and then when i tried to download the program it said i already have it BUT I DO NOT i have the PDF file for the License agreement. NOT THE program. Any Idea ?
I know their download section is a bit confusing, but there shouldn't be anything keeping you from downloading the app as many times as you need to. I can think of at least two occasions when I downloaded more than once.

Got it! TY!
Washington County? Out of curiosity, where is this new map based off of, or located? Makes me think of Idaho!
Palmer, KS.

How can you satisfy that license though if you upload to giants mod hub? Where do you put the link-back to their site?

How did you make out? Did you get the export template figured out yet?
