Hey everyone! I know many of you have been asking for those old videos where I sat down and Ranted about different things.
The reality is, youtube has DEMONITIZED many of them.
That's the main reason you see alot more champ vids. Rants take 30-50 hours to make and not getting paid for that work sucks.

I was waiting for him to name drop Carnarius :( sad days. At least us followers of carnarius know the og spellbook nasus. Although now I have to try out ghost heal. And Finally get around to changing my runes so they include nimbus cloak
Man if only we had your summoner to prove youre not just fishing for likes like the other 12 people who copied and pasted this exact same comment hmmmmmmmm
well my comment was worthless then. I also agree with Reload
He just forgets to change his spells. All the way from lv 1
this is basically the same rune page/ build that nasus players outside of NA have been going for a bit now. the only real change being heal over flash. also one important thing to mention about spellbook nasus is that your first spellbook token pops up around when you hit level 6 and also should have the gold for sheen and if you recall back buy sheen, and switch to tp to get back to lane you can basically ghost + ult and just run down most champions. running heal over flash probably increases the likely hood you can stay in lane till 6 and also increases the amount of match ups you can do this too
If you havent noticed, he goes nimbus cloak, spellbook lowers the cooldown of summoner spells as does the last rune in inspiration, basically put you have more speedups more often which allow you to get to champs faster to stack them. He's just taking the route that gives the most applied mobility while also keeping in mind powerspikes, aint that hard to figure out
one day later and league is filled with 0/12 ghost heal nasus top.
spirit fire spam and get frozen on lol
it doesn´t matter if nasus is 0/12 when the enemy base falls to pieces.
@@berndarndt9924 Well, when a scaling stacking champ cannot get their stacks, they can't do shit. Pretty obvious.
So true, people just look at a good player's build but ignore their playstyle and desition making
To be fair, they were going 0/12 with flash-teleport anyways
"He takes ghost and heal every single game!"
Screenshot shows exhaust, heal
A player named "余小C" from Chinese server has reached grandmaster a couple days ago with his Nasus. He takes Heal and Exhaust in the beginning of every game. He said "it's to prevent opponents from ganking him while he's under his own tower."
Correction on "the only to break diamond". There's a 1 trick on EUW who mains Nasus and is currently Master tier, named canariusv2. He streams on twitch as well

Exhaust: Am I a joke to you
amazing stuff
I feel like you you really gloss over nimbus cloak here. The movement speed the rune gives you + the movement speed from those spells themselves make it much harder to kite him.
As a Nasus player, I can't believe none of us ever thought of this before, it's so obvious when you think about it
Can you post his op.gg for those of us who can't type in korean
For over a year RUclips didn't give me a single video of yours in my subscription feed, just thought some other people may be having this problem. I looked up your channel after watching all the new uploads for the day, like three or four videos, and realized you've been posting and I just haven't been getting them in my sub box.
"celerity solves your early mana issues" - DongHuaP
celerity is a rune that increases movement speed bonuses clarity is the summoner spell that restores mana and is only available on howling abyss and crystal scar at the moment.
Love the videos and find the little mistakes so funny
Grasp is for tough matchups with a lot of fighting like illaoi for example. It lets you auto q and walk away for a better trade. Conq is not for 1v1s but for 1v3s or 1v4s. Basically this version of Nasus is more versatile/team oriented so better for high elo.
so basicly he refuses to play the early game, refuses to have any impact at all, to maybe get something out of it later on.
Thx for the guide man. I thought grasp would be the best rune for surviving the early game, but this changed my mind
I‘ve clicked on this video and right after that my notification got send to me... Ty RUclips...
9:02 " good at *one* thing: 1v1 AND splitpush"
Splitpushing will mostly have 1v1 scenario, hence why splitpusher like Nasus and Jax have very strong 1v1 potential.
the nasus in your team always is a french bulldog, he doesn't give a damn, he is his own dog

Doesnt have any games played this season and dropped to diamond by the end of the season, but this is his OP.gg - ru.op.gg/summoner/userName=Hibo+DeNeige
Hey im very happy seeing you doing some videos again your channel is one of my favourites thanks ❤
The difference between this Nasus and the #1 in EUW is mostly item choices, the dude in EUW goes mostly tank items and attempts to be more disruptive than anything with IBG and a whole bunch of stats, this makes *way* more sense to me.
Carnarius from euw hit 500lp (or higher) last season with unsealed spellbook. This Korean is not the only one to do it.
I feel like whenver this dude makes a video
He causes a storm in solo quees.
Inb4 everyone starts playin Næsus again heal ghøst
nah, 4 of the best soloq toplaners counter nasus at the moment.
Dong you really forgot about carnarius lol. He’s been using spellbook ever since season 8 and he’s reached grandmaster this season on euw
It makes a lot of sense, especially at his elo to take those summoners.
The *ONLY* downside of Nasus is that he has 0 mobility.
The question now is, why heal over flash or teleport? Nasus' items early game mostly only have armor (gauntlet, frozen heart, triforce etc.) unless ofc you rush visage... which you won't because you're most likely facing an ad laner.
As such, heal serves as an escape, or mobility from that movespeed.
Summoners aside, what most Nasus mains would tell you why they lost the game is, is that the game ended too quickly.
Even if you're carrying a TP, you WOULD NOT teleport bot at 10 minutes in the game to help bot. Because most likely you're below stacks and have no items.
Yet your team expects you to do so, and then bam, 3ple kill from the bot side. Later on guess what, since you didn't use your tp, they expect you to tp now at 12 min, bam another 3ple.
At 12 minutes into the game, game's over for your team, and the enemy team just rushes down mid, ending the game at 20 minutes.
At higher elo though, people know how to play around champs. A decent Nasus player can survive tough lanes, and don't even need kills. They can feed top lane, and still win comfortably late game if only his lane is the losing one.
At higher elo, people know that you shouldn't expect Nasus to be in a team fight early, and if possible, to just play around him since he can end the game by himself.
And there you have it, the actual reason why he's #1... he's in high elo, and korean players know how to play with a team better. Meanwhile, muricans would just constantly flame each other.
thank you for using your brain. well, the build creator but you too for explaining it. i feel all i ever see now are ppl cookie cutting builds and failing with them this is pretty damn genius cuz it breaks down not which runes are best but which runes fit the champ best. it takes a look at when and where the champ is strong and weak and fits itself accordingly.
i want to see more of these in s10 and i dont even play this fucking game anymore. love it!!
tbh the extended, tortuous similes at the end of the video, are what I've been was missing from Dong's content.
True, Nasus is a hard champ to play in the early game, which is why I stopped maining him and moved to darius. I'll try this strategy and see how it goes for me.
Loving the content please don't stop uploading again
I really like your video dude and how you deliver the words and explanation. Keep it up bro. You make my day go 👍🏼
"Why would anyone take ghost heal" the nasus in the clip flashes to secure a kill...?
I think the build is probably really good if you can master it, and I've thought about it before as an option, but putting a pint in your E on lvl 1 and using it to cs is just dumb. It can easily push the wave and gives an opportunity to the enemy laner to freeze on you and beat you with no effort. Yeah the wave will eventually push towards you, but it will take too long, you won't be able to get every minion and it is even possible to push it back hard if you're not really careful with your E. As someone who loves Nasus and has played him a lot, I will give it a try, but that lvl 1 E is not a good idea.
9:04 "good at one thing" lists two things lmao
This only works in high elo where everyone is competent and you can bide your time. Low elo your team is feeding by 7 minutes and you gotta start making plays to save the game
every video just makes me love this guy more. keep up the good work man
I was ready to give up on nasus for season 10 because it's been so hard but now i have new found faith in Dcane
I love how everyone who does something off meta-seems to be doing significantly better than the people who play meta-styles of champions. Alex blais, davemon, wukong yuumi, riste (before the buff), manco, merrhos, and now this guy
bc they don´t just follow the rest blindly but actually understand what they do and why they do it. Also people don´t know your strengh when they never see your champion.
@@berndarndt9924 Not to mention these are outliers, there are tons of scrubs in low ELO trying out weird shit, but you only hear about the ones who succeeded. Not about the Jayce ADC in my shitter games who fed.
This is mostly confirmation bias I think. Way more people are successful by copying the meta than are by finding their own way, but we only get videos about the successful weirdos. Since we don't hear anything about the majority of people who climb by meta copying, and we don't even consider the many who play their own way and fail, it's easy to think that off-meta players are doing significantly better. Really they're lucky to find something which works, AND they have the skill to pull it off.
this is false
"Everyone who does something off meta-seems to be doing significantly better than the people who play meta-styles of champions" I'm sorry but this is wrong, it is called META for a reason and people that play the META do better. If you would like to research this here is a link to the top of the latter in NA solo queue; www.leagueofgraphs.com/rankings/summoners/na . I know people love to see the under-dog champs rise to higher elo but players like the ones you listed are not the norm and are not high rank enough to be considered as better than the meta.
This is actually the first healthy use of spellbook I have seen since the release of it. I do think this point out Nasus problems very well if he ever get's some love in a future rework.
I do experiment on spellbook + Nasus jungle. He get strong wayyyyyyyy faster since big monster give him 12 stack instead of 3. While being so annoying to 1v1 since Wither/Exhaust / Red smite.
In just first clear you should get nearly 100 stack by last hit big jungle mob alone(there are 6 of them 7 if you count scuttle and that is 72-84 already) , so by 10 minute you should get around 200 stack or more with some tank item.....and it will only go down hill from there since you keep getting more and more stack way faster than you should.
"During a hotpot they'll eat all the leftovers" got me in the first half not gonna lie
Conquerer isn't for 1v1's though. It's for 1v2+ fights
"Farming all game and then walking up to people with 5000 health and 1 shotting them with a basic attack has always been a fun and appealing playstyle"
Define "fun and appealing".
