Excellent review mate and I bought a Forza 125 cc on the strength of reviews such as yours. The dealer would not allow test rides as he said he'd lose money on the bike if I chose not to buy. I love the bike but I find it cramped and uncomfortable. My ride to work is less than 10 miles so I'm OK with that, any longer would be very difficult. I'm looking at getting a bigger bike soon.
I recently test rode the new Forza 300. I agree with you, great bike but I found the mirrors awkward too. It hasn't stopped me ordering one though! Ride safe.
I find the 300 mirrors ok... not as good as my fz1 fazer but ok for seeing cars but a better rear view would be a bonus to give a better picture of the rear
@@Tacticalsnails Yes, I'm on the 350cc version now, and the mirrors have not improved. I do love the scoot, 60-70mph comfortable cruising, 83mpg, great little touring bike, handy to do the shopping. Brill!
@@marcinpiak3540 no matter what engine you get on it its an extremely capable machine honda did a fantastic job on it i im just on a cbt and it's the absolute limit of what you can have and it still feels like a quality bit of kit plus the weather protection is nice
@@Tacticalsnails Totally agree. I've had a lot of 900cc+ machines, but this is my favourite. Great fun blazing ahead at the lights ahead of the boy racers! Screen is great fully up for colder/wet weather, and great fully down in the heat. Enjoy!
Really nice review! Thinking of buying one for my commute. Just sold a Versys 650 and looking to downsize to an economical automatic - this might be the one! Cheers
drewby dude excellent! I found a 2016 125 version with 7000 miles for £2650. Very happy so far! I’d have liked the 300 or an Xmax 300 but slightly outside of my budget unfortunately. I’m was thinking on the way to work that the fuel meter must have an issue as it hasn’t moved in a few days of commuting but I’m guessing it’s just a very frugal engine!
Hope you enjoy bud... Having just picked up the new 300 I can say it follows in the 125s tyre tracks nicely.. going to try and post a review very soon..
Good review, thanks matey! I did consider this bike, looks very nice but for me it's too tall for me to put my tootsies on the floor so I opted for the Forza 300 which I do like but prefer the look of the 125!!! Horses for courses ......!
Very good indeed. I do a 160mile round trip to visit my mum and it'll do motorway speeds very well. Cruising around 65 (indicated), the mpg averages around just over 100mpg though, but this depends upon the ambient temperature and prevailing weather.

Hi how's things with the Forza going, have you encountered any problems? I'm undecided between this and the Sym GTS , there's such a lot of lovely machines out there. Do you expect any changes in 2016 on this model? My expectations are to the Peaks in Derbyshire do the Honda handle this terrain well? Thanks for your video , keep them coming.
Hello. I own a sym gts 125i evo 2012 model for 6 months now. Great scooter and very nice ride and super quick. The scooter does drink the fuel like we drink pints lol. It's a big scooter and about 160kg and the led lights are nice. I am looking for a new scooter for better mpg and the one in this video looks good but with a big price tag. Great video and review.
Wyattchoi A Yeah, fuel gauge works fine, easy to read. Tank from empty takes 11.5 litres, so you can work out how much that cost to fill up. I fill up around the 250 mile mark, but steady riding could see a potential 311 if you get the claimed 123mpg - which I and a few others have managed on several occasions. As yet, I've not run it dry to find out how far I can get on the last bar when it starts flashing.
Great scooter but we dont have this model here man :-(just interessthing ur camare recotding great zoom love it thx for sharing video sir take care seeu eric :-) ...
My dealer said it didn’t need running in, just let it warm up properly. I hit 81 (indicated, so about early 70’s) in the first month I had it, but just the once. I changed my rollers to Dr. Pulley ones not long after, and that made a very useful difference to acceleration and kept a good top end.
Neil Carr Yeah the speedo is inaccurate, download a freebie GPS App for your phone and test it out. Yeah, I bought my Dr. Pulley rollers from their website direct in Germany/Netherlands (I can’t remember which) and went for all the weights they recommended but ended up with just the lightest ones in the end. Better acceleration and maintained the top speed. Before I traded the bike in, I swapped back to standard and couldn’t believe how sluggish it was AND I was hitting the Rev limiter at an indicated 72(ish).
Excellent review David. I may trade my CB500 in for one of these. No clutch or gears, lot of space under the seat and it looks good. Do you reckon it will do well on 60 miles commute (a mixture of country lanes and motorway)? Cheers. SR
Sky Rider Yeah, it does me. I do long[ish] trips on mine. 75 miles today to see my mum. I can't help feeling you'll be disappointed dropping from a 500 to a 125 though.
I haven't a clue what that is. Styling is a subjective thing so there's no accounting for personal taste and a scooter is a scooter, no matter what it looks like.
Its a Scooter with a Sport Motorcycle Body, you ride it like you would a Motorcycle, the dealer told me about this one so I looked it up but still prefer the Roma due to it not looking like a scooter on the outside. lol
Yes true, sorry for stating my personal option on a nice alternative to a normal looking Scooter, I was actually trying to find this mini FUERZA bike that people was telling me about but typed in Forza and thus got me confused on why they told me this was the same as the Hornet lol So in all this was what I was looking for www.icebearatv.com/product/pmz125-1 Sorry for my comments/ Stay safe out there.
The reason why is the demand for a 125 is much higher, in Europe anyone who's had a car license for 2 years and takes a CBT, gets their license upgraded to ride A1 bikes without L plates - terrible that the UK resists EU policy - the 125 market is bigger than all the other bike engine sizes combined
+monck55 The 300 is a different chassis, with smaller wheels, no where near as economical and the engine is an 'old school' 300. It's also a smaller bike that my dainty frame just doesn't fit on and the fit nd finish is no where near the quality of the Forza 125. In essence, the only thing the Forza 125 and the Forza 300 have in common is the name. Hopefully Honda will do what they've done to the 125 engine to the 300 (i.e.: a 4 valve head instead of 2 valve, lower friction gubbins and all the other stuff to make it really fuel efficient and more powerful), revise the chassis, bigger wheels, upgrade the quality, riding position, space, etc and essentially make a Forza 125 with a 250/300ish engine. I for one would be at the front of the queue to buy that one.
Hey, Amazing bike...I know its a scooter but it feels like I've been waiting for something like this all my life. Looks like a mans scooter! I've just traded my 125cc Forza for the new 300cc one with electric windscreen. Delivery is in 4 weeks and I can't wait.
I just bought one too traded my 1000cc in.... what you think of it ?
Loved your review. You should do more on other bikes, you're a natural!

Excellent review mate - wish all reviews were professionally made and straight to the point as yours. How's long-distance seat comfort like?
+Mohamed El-Rouby Thanks.
Long distance isn't too bad but it's not quite as good as the S-Wing as that seat was more deeply padded and slightly wider.

bought mine from Honda two days ago. For a 125 it's very powerful. love the big oozes premium feel however the mirror are useless
Yep. It was a step backwards from the S-Wing's mirrors.

I quite liked the metallic dog shit brown one. Maybe it's my age or a mid life crisis stage I'm going through. All good :D
Oh yeah, for sure. If you're only 11stones then you'll easily hit 150mph, 160mph if you tuck your arms and legs in.
When this scooter comes in INDIA???
plz ask in honda showroom in your country....
Amusing credits at the end.

when is comming to NEPAL
Great review. Is that a Honda top box, and if so, how much was it?
dinsdaleblue No, that's a Givi one supplied and fitted by my Honda dealer. Cost was £80 and of course you still need the rack to mount it on.
How many miles did it take to lossen up overtakes etc n top end... I'm still only on 400mile
