- The Red Wedding as seen by Catelyn Tully. The Arya scenes have been cut.
I'll probably have a better quality video uploaded later.

I think the most haunting thing about this scene is that Catelyn at the end stands there completely depersonalised and in both shock and hopelessness.
“Tell them……the North came for House Frey……tell them…..the North Remembers…..”
The “Mother” reminds me of when Hank said “he already made up his mind 10 minutes ago”
Absolutely
Yes indeed. Good reference
Very observant, the sacred and the propane.
Reason I'm still shocked is because they let Tulisa (Jeyne) die. She wasn't even there in the books, so it was a shocker when I saw her getting stabbed five times in the stomach, while she was pregnant. That means they also stabbed the fetus five times. Truly a disgusting act.

Cool
This whole scene was disgusting
Wonder what you're up to 10 years later
2:45 her voice. pure raw.
this scene really really was some thing else..
This was just tragic. Even if I alredy read it in the book, the scene was made so good that i'm still shocked...

Cat's reaction DESTROYS me..
Walder Frey destroyed her
Agree like real..galing nila
This scene will stuck in my mind for rest for my life
I remember watching this scene and being completely shocked, I was thinking about theorys of how they could go back to life. I mean, I watched movies way worst than this, but the way you grow up with Rob's character and invest your hope on his cause make you truly want him to win. Epic and magestic writing.
After all these years I think it's time to rewatch.
Here you come again after 4month
This is why i don't attend weddings!!!
💀
Come on man
I cant help but think this ALL could of been avoided (the entire WAR) if Katelyn just didnt kidnap tyrion at the inn. Thats what sparked Ned getting captured and the north rebelling
Lets not forget that happened because Tyrions blade was found on the assassin sent to kill Bran for having witnessed Jaime and Cersei getting it on (Jaime having done this because of his devotion to his house and family, knowing they could all be killed if the truth came out) You could say it was Baelish who started this war for arming the assassin, trying to pin it on Tyrion too.
Thats what I love about this world, things arent always so simple, pure good and evil being a rarity. Lots of morally grey characters and situations.
It was littlefinger....that's just a fact. It was always Littlefinger. He literally started almost every single thing that eventually leads to the war, he literally kept it going in many, MANY ways throughout the series.
Fucking Littlefinger man. Lol
When Cat sees Bolton's chainmail, the apologetic look he gives her. Even he was dismayed by what was going to happen
Not at all. Bolton, Frey and Lannister were the scummiest of the scums. If I remember correctly from the books (haven't watched the show past season 5 not to spoil my 12 years long wait for the next book), Roose Bolton was even ok when his son married a widow and left her starving to death just to steal her castle, and sometime after that, he was also ok with Ramsey killing Roose's own wife, just so he wouldn't have brothers to compete for the family name
@@grgameplay4317 I never read the books but hope too when A Dream of Spring comes out. But just remember the show changed a lot, and it seemed Ramsey was the only evil bolton
@@kingkaleb5600 Different, but not to point of changing characters personalities.
Also, just an advice. If you ever want to start reading, do it already. There's plenty of material for you to spend at least a couple of months reading. The winds of winter is taking one hell of a time to be released. You say you want to wait A dream of Spring? Just don't. It will never be released. At least not by GRRM's hand. In case he dies before release, and he will, Elio Garcia and Linda Antonsson will do it for him. But it will also take 2 hells of a time
Bro he was smiling at her I swear people make the most retarded observations
Lol that wasn't an apologetic look at all
She died before they cut her neck. The mother tried to warn Rob. 😢
She died as soon as Walder said “I’ll find another” that’s when she knew her son was about to die.
@@alexdredge655 the only show that cut me like a knife
Lol, Catlyin stupid decisions are reason they are dead.
There is no way to find any TV show perfect like GOT .
perfect till season 7 maybe.. 8 was a disaster
@@zap900Nope. Season 5 and 6 are pretty mediocre compared to the amazing season 1 to 4. They're still good television though and a lot better than season 7 and 8
Rome I recommend you watching it for it comes close or even equal to GOT
For me till the season 6 a perfect TV show
Watch more television
as disgusting as this was, it all happened because of robb breaking his oath to walder, had he married his daughter this would not have happened.
Nah pretty sure he’d of still done it for what the Lannister’s promised him regardless of what promises rob maew
You dont a oath with the freys, he just need3d to make blizzkrieg, besiege the twins as fast as possible to go through the river, kill him and take his sons as captiv3 that their soldier fight for you
Wrong
Rob had coming because breaking oaths and laws of gods had consequences
If Freyr and Rob work together the war would win by the North
You are right, Rob fucked over multiple people by breaking his oath to Walder - remember tha soldier he basically threw a tantrum at for doing his job taking a mill instead of actually communicating his orders too. Then arranged for HIM to be married as recompense, as some sort of duty...a duty he himself didn't obey by breaking the oath - I think fey would of screwed them over regardless. Lannister simply had more to offer and that's what it boiled down to.
@@slickdon1the freys, greyjoys and boltons have a history of being untrustworthy but Rob and his group still decided to trust all three which led to his downfall.
I've always hated crossbows... TAKE TOO LONG TO LOAD! And they killed A lot of Stark men. I'll never use a crossbow in Skyrim again.
Now that you say this, I think... if Yoren was here, he would've known what to do!
🤣🤣so true
10 years later, here to watch Cates final words😢😢😢😢
Brutal 😭💔
Starks paid for their stupidity.
killing them at a weeding was not a way to pay for their stupidity
No likes... no dislikes... just awe
Heartbreaking
I remember watching this episode and looking at the TV after it ended. Just thinking how an imaginary story could affect me that way. The actors there were phenomenal, but George RR Martin is the true genius of our age. Even now, years after I watched for the first time, I still remember the feeling of hate, disgust and admiration for Tywin
This was the most shocking and unexpected thing I saw in tv. I still remember watching Cat slaping Rose and I was like wtf did she do that and 1 seconde later everyone dies. It was insane to watch
What a cowardly act!
All this happened because of Rob he kinda had it coming even though this was a little over the top response
I reckon that even if Robb kept his oath and married one of the daughters, Tywin may still have organised the massacre, stopping the war before it even started.
@roryheaslip8260 I doubt that Waldor felt used and lied to by Robb and his mother. Robb should have realized that there are consequences to breaking an oath
Thing is, the red wedding was orchestrated by Tywin and Robb's wife's parents. In the books, they sent her to "comfort" him, and bc he's Ned's son, they knew he'd do the honorable thing. Tho obviously, they didn't follow the books exactly.
@@hentiabotha406 wait what?! in the books this was caused by robb's wife??
@@zainabhicksno. Her parents orchestrated the entire thing with Tywin. She was just a pawn. I can't remember what Tywin promised them.
Yep! :D
Kendrick after pulling a 180 on drake💀
A sort of Catherine de Medici episode!
When those doors close, man!
Hey well we still got Catl……😮
My reaction 😅
Still pissed that Robb betrayed the Freys by not marrying Lord Frey’s daughter. No wonder the Lannisters sent their regards.
Fuck the Lannister
Reading the books now for my second time but this scene was done better in the show
Lol Kaitlyn slapped Roose Bolton into next week. He barely made it back in time to finish Robb.
Arya couldn't deliver the same pain to the old man, his death should be more brutal
To like or to dislike.....what a question.
Arya killed the frey.
Jon killed the Bolton's
Ramsay killed his father
they died because of Roose who betrayed them, but i like Roose, hes cold just like Tywin
I like Tywin but not Roose. Idk why
robb didnt stick to his oaths why should roose?
@@dripyknight2744but he offered to make a compromise and apologized. He made a mistake and was willing to rectify it. Marriage is a complicated factor
feel like they almost kill Catelyn as an after thought...
Интерестно, почему в сериале изменили несколько моментов. Например жены Роба не было на свадьбе,она осталась в Риверане; Кейтлин убила не дочь Фрея а слабаумного сына-шута;
Не говорю уже о мстящей Фреям мертвой Кейтлин
I will never forgive D&D for not bringing Stoneheart into the show.

It was actually Robs fault
Some times you have to keep promises for your families sake specially when you are to avenge for your families name . I would never forgive such selfishness.
Typical interfeudal disputes in medievality
Why i feel joy every time watching this
Yeah why do you feel joy, please provide an explanation, the floor is yours.

that was alright but i don't see what the big deal is.
I lost all sympathy for Catelyn when she slit that poor girls throat.
So how do you feel about the events prior to her doing what you didnt like?
Yeah, that was pretty shitty of her.
That poor girl knew what was going on and didn’t warn them.
Horrible place anyway, probably glad to be done with it.
The worst scene, this was the beginning of the downfall for this series.
????
how is that, I though Jamie pushing a young Bran was quite despicable
I mean you're not wrong. They kinda blew their load here
