Robb will always be my favorite character in the show and books, he was kind hearted, noble, righteous, and very compassionate just like his father, he loved his brothers, and he was an incredible leader, but almost poetically, his inexperience and naive young nature caused him to make one mistake that cost him everything, it’s almost shakespearean and beautifully tragic, I will never forget Robb Starks character, and I was in tears at the end of his story.
It's sadder in the books because he didn't violate his pact for 'love'. He did it to protect the honor of the girl he slept with. He was accepting the responsibility for the consequences of the selfish decision he made to sleep with her. She was sweet and cared for him, but he didn't want to actually marry her (let alone violate a marriage pact for her). He was just trying to do the right thing. That scream is one of the best screams I have ever heard. So raw and emotional. You can feel sanity and will to live leaving her body...so heartbreaking.
I actually cried at Robb’s death, and shouted an obscenity when his unborn child was killed. I watched the scene and when his last word was “mother” the dam burst. I love that Richard explains it and I would’ve been alarmed too if I’d seen him on that plane.
I agree with you bro but the body structure required for a superman role is different. The shoulder size should be big. Richard Madden's body is athletic and I know he can be buff but his shoulder muscles will not grow as much as Henril Cavil's.
The performance between him and Michelle was just absolutely amazing. It felt like a genuine mother-son connection. I wish them all the love in the world.
It’s sad that many people don’t know how Catelyn Stark was resurrected as Lady Stoneheart and is going around the riverlands hanging Freys and Lannisters

This was the greatest moment in Game of Thrones. Incredibly well done. The sense of dread they built leading up to it. The uncomfortable lingering shot on Cat before she is put out of her misery. It was graphic, emotive, and a shocking twist. Well done to all involved
that scene gives me chills every time. at first i hated it, because i thought Robb would get justice for Ned. from the Lady/Nymeria mishap, to Neds beheading, I felt the show just wasn't going to give me any reprieve. I thought about quitting the show then just because it was pretty heart wrenching. I obviously came around for future seasons, but they won't ever touch seasons 1-4.
@1:24 I like how he so casually talks about the other stuff the guy (The one who stabbed his “wife”) acted in. It’s such a lax reaction to a brutal scene
The Tiwari well when Ned got his head chopped is when I knew it wasn’t your average show lol this was a reminder for those who thought it would become a normal show after Ned’s death.
Robbs loss hit me hard. The Starks were the ones with the most noble goals. Watching him go hurt me big time. Especially after Tywin reforged his family heirloom. The only consolation is that the Starks sort of won when they basically took over the throne, the North, north of the Wall, and future territories.
"Here sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to - the King in the North" Robb stark is my favorite character, I remember, when I saw this scene, I was shocked, he was true king, respectable. He didn't deserve to die like that.
That scene that still to this day breaks my heart and i will never forget this terrible ending for Robb Stark and Richard Madden is such a talented, handsome and very humble actor.
He's an excellent actor and I wish I could write an intelligent comment but it's so hard to concentrate when he is so handsome and he's got such a perfect Scottish accent.
Who else watched that commentary video he was talking about at the beginning? It was emotional they genuinely cried and said they love each, they both were incredible in that's scene. Maybe the most polarizing scene in t.v history. This and The Mountain and The Viper aka Gregor Clegane vs Oberyn Martell
Even watching this, I still get chills hearing those first couple notes start The Rains.. The second Catelyn looked up was the point my jaw dropped for the rest of the episode.
I was in total shock after I watched that scene. I haven't read the book so I completely don't expect a massacre in a wedding. The ambience of the scene gave me goosebumps, especially when the violinists played the Rains of Castamere. I even remember forcing my self to believe it was some kind of a dream or a false vision, but it wasn't. That was truly an iconic scene and we will never forget. The North Remembers.
He has such great screen presence, it was easy to imagine him being in the final season. What other show kills off popular characters like GoT? Surely one of the finest shows of a generation.

I mean can we please get this?
That was one awful scene.
@@iloveass8851 *beautiful 😊
@@nottoomuch87 it really didn't make sense. It was rushed and underwhelming. Just a fan service. Arya would never be able to pull this off like that in the books. And tbh, I don't think it would be the starks who take the revenge or anyone tbh.
@@iloveass8851 Well, since they failed to include Lady Stoneheart, I guess Arya was the next best thing. And, if they had done a better job with her faceless men storyline, it would have made more sense.
Robb was (is) my favorite character in the whole series..... Was easily the king/Lord that the show has ever had.
This broke my heart and I literally took a year off of watching 3x10
I feel ur pain😢. I still can't bare ro rewatch this scene in its entirety. His commentary and little "fun facts" and constant pausing was literally the only thing that got me thru it. Otherwise I legit was gonna burst out in tears again.
+Daniel Canngieter if i had to choose a favourite Stark on game of thrones it probably would be Robb as well
He is such a nice guy, giving shout outs to people who killed him and his wife. RIP, Robb Stark.
I almost cried.....almost , God I avoided watching this again like the plague
I actualllyy cried my eyes out and have been avoiding it since forever!! I almost cry whenever i think about it...
I don't think I'll ever be over his death
Me too! I literally skip it every time it pops up on my feed as a recommendation. The only thing that got me thru this 2nd viewing was his commentary and "fun facts" and constant pausing. Otherwise I seriously can't get thru this scene in its entirety without bawling like a baby😢
This shocked me, but Oberyn vs Clegane shocked me even more. I didn't sleep that night and stopped watching the show for 4 days
Are you still avoiding the plague?
It's incredible to see that his own reaction to the Red Wedding is almost like everybody else's. Wow!
When I watched the red wedding scene I was 8 months pregnant. I cannot express to you the amount of absolute horror I experienced watching that scene. It took me few months to even think about continuing to watch the show.
I was late to the game and only saw it after I had my second baby. It sure gives you an awful tingle, doesn’t it.
On the other hand, a two-for-one is good for the leaderboards. =/
Hope everything went fine for you and the little one! =)
and you were okay with joff killing infants?😂

“Not a comedy”
* Frey: THE KING IN THE NORTH ARISES hehe

That scream is one of the best screams I have ever heard. So raw and emotional. You can feel sanity and will to live leaving her body...so heartbreaking.
I actually cried at Robb’s death, and shouted an obscenity when his unborn child was killed. I watched the scene and when his last word was “mother” the dam burst.
I love that Richard explains it and I would’ve been alarmed too if I’d seen him on that plane.
God yes, that was heartbreaking 😭
I can see this guy replacing Henry Cavill as Superman if Henry aint gonna come back..
No, he isn't buff enough.
@@ankitchaubey1583 yeaaaaa, people gain and lose weight/muscles for movie roles all the time. ..
I agree with you bro but the body structure required for a superman role is different. The shoulder size should be big.
Richard Madden's body is athletic and I know he can be buff but his shoulder muscles will not grow as much as Henril Cavil's.
Nate James Bond
How did I not think of this before?! Would love to see him do it.
The performance between him and Michelle was just absolutely amazing. It felt like a genuine mother-son connection. I wish them all the love in the world.
The most jaw dropping scene I have ever watched on television. Huge fan of this episode.
The fact that he still watches the show after he got killed off made me love him even more!
It’s sad that many people don’t know how Catelyn Stark was resurrected as Lady Stoneheart and is going around the riverlands hanging Freys and Lannisters
Ok I’ll bite.... WHAT??!
@@thereflex101 lol read the books
@@thereflex101 I haven’t even read them myself but it seems worth it for the real ending of the story
It's sad that many people go around giving absolutely unsolicited information about a major character in the books, ruining it for people that have not reached that part yet
@@oscarbautista4156 lol what do you expect. First it's youtube you'll definitely find yourself be spoiled. 2nd it's GOT book readers and show watchers are always around lol
The music"Rains of Casteremere" makes the Red Wedding scene more emotional.
Imagine being on that plane LOL.
That would be the most annoying spoiler but the best way to receive one.
Your just there than you see Rob stark role up covered with blood crying
" I wonder what happened to that guuuuhh.... OMG nnnooooo NOT ROB"
There was the possibility that he just fought in a battle and slayed a lot of people. Which wasn’t the case obviously, but still.
1:49 I spit my drink out when he says "Oh, down she goes" lol
Richard sense of humor and relatable charm.. he is just adorable.
@1:24 I like how he so casually talks about the other stuff the guy
(The one who stabbed his “wife”) acted in. It’s such a lax reaction to a brutal scene
Wouldve killed to see michelle as lady stoneheart!
She was too angry with the directors after this scene to bother staying on, so they scrapped it in spite
Sacredgeometry how do you know?
@@sacredxgeometry why would she be mad with them? This is what happens in the story
@@phantomz87 in books she became lady stoneheart
And this is where you learn this isn’t your average show
The Tiwari well when Ned got his head chopped is when I knew it wasn’t your average show lol this was a reminder for those who thought it would become a normal show after Ned’s death.
Shame its the most average generic boring show now, s7 was hot garbage
@@thingsicantfind9545 s8 too holy dam

Robbs loss hit me hard. The Starks were the ones with the most noble goals. Watching him go hurt me big time. Especially after Tywin reforged his family heirloom.
The only consolation is that the Starks sort of won when they basically took over the throne, the North, north of the Wall, and future territories.
WHO ALLOWED THIS 😭
Your enemies.
Stop acting as if you’re honourable, queen of the ashes.
"Here sits the only king I mean to bend my knee to - the King in the North"
Robb stark is my favorite character, I remember, when I saw this scene, I was shocked,
he was true king, respectable. He didn't deserve to die like that.
His accent and voice is so smooth and relaxing omg i could hear him all day long♡.
He’s soooo beautiful that it’s unfair 😭😍
I wish i was as beautiful as him and I'm a woman lol.
"So the tsa takes away my 25ml bottle of shampoo and You can enter a plane with a shirt full of blood while crying?"
Exactly?!😂😂😂💀
Can we just talk about how adorable it is that he respects and admires Michelle Fairly's (spelling?) acting talent so much?
He’s so cute and down to earth and it’s funny how truly disturbed and uncomfortable he is when watching his best scene in the show lol
0:07 my heart after binge watching the series again
This scene is so good, from the moment you hear the rains of castamere even if you don’t know what it is-you know something is up
That scene that still to this day breaks my heart and i will never forget this terrible ending for Robb Stark and Richard Madden is such a talented, handsome and very humble actor.
i miss the king in the north
camila fabregas who dat it is
DA KING IN DA NOORF
Robb Stark was an angel who deserved the world and my favorite character.
My heart will be forever bleeding for the red wedding
Top screams:
1. Michelle Fairly at the wedding
2. Dany's friend in The Nightlands
3. Cersei's quick scream in the sept dungeon
The scream I'll never forget is Shireen while she burns to death.
He's an excellent actor and I wish I could write an intelligent comment but it's so hard to concentrate when he is so handsome and he's got such a perfect Scottish accent.
love him since Game of Thrones and still!!!
Watch Bodyguard if you haven't. He's amazing in it
Who else watched that commentary video he was talking about at the beginning? It was emotional they genuinely cried and said they love each, they both were incredible in that's scene. Maybe the most polarizing scene in t.v history. This and The Mountain and The Viper aka Gregor Clegane vs Oberyn Martell
Where can I see that?

mcjon77 amazing series
And also in the movie Bastille day alongside Idris Elba.
3:42 made me laugh. What a great and humble guy.
0:33 Afraid of crying, what do you think happened for fans. I still get chills watching this video
Richard Madden was probably devastated to find out he's was getting killed off however looking at it now it was probably a lucky escape!!
He probably knew about it i think, since it happens in the books
This episode tells about the unknowability of the truth, that's why this series is legendary
Catelyn Stark's howling voice is something that i won't be forgetting anytime soon... the desperation in it is truly heartbreaking
“I think it’s really rude you’ve made me watch this.” Lol awwww ♥️
Even watching this, I still get chills hearing those first couple notes start The Rains.. The second Catelyn looked up was the point my jaw dropped for the rest of the episode.
I was in total shock after I watched that scene. I haven't read the book so I completely don't expect a massacre in a wedding. The ambience of the scene gave me goosebumps, especially when the violinists played the Rains of Castamere. I even remember forcing my self to believe it was some kind of a dream or a false vision, but it wasn't. That was truly an iconic scene and we will never forget. The North Remembers.
I just love the guy. He’s such an amazing actor, and the way he relives the scene is so, so full of heart and warm memories of the cast and crew.
Had my jaw hanging open during the entire scene the first time I watched it. Absolutely crushing.
This has to be the most beautiful man on this planet...and the voice....I'm dying!
I imagine a GoT Fan sitting in that plane, seeing him and thinking "OH NO!! WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!?"
A legendary episode that will go down in tv history!
He has such great screen presence, it was easy to imagine him being in the final season. What other show kills off popular characters like GoT? Surely one of the finest shows of a generation.
Right! Marvel def does not do that..they resurrect their people
I still remember sitting by my brother at the time, I had read the novels, he didn't, and I was like "wait for it... wait for it"
His reaction was priceless, wish I filmed that xD
undead9999 my guess is that his reaction was a mix of horror, sadness, and crying.
Why does this video keep coming back into my recommended section? I have cried enough :(
The way catlyn cries kills me every time. Such a great act. Sounds like it happened for real.
I wanted to punch someone and cry after i'd watched the Red Wedding.
RIP Robb and Catelyn
