Should I take the pan out and replace the filter/ gasket or is it fine if I just let in flush out by taking the bolt out
This gen civic doesn't have an external pan/filter
I hv a 97 Honda Civic & was told there is no transmission filter in it. & yet some hv told me to get the transmission drained, filter changed, & everything that is included in a transmission draining. So I’m scared to take it anywhere. What’s ur advice? Thank you.
How many quarts did you put on it?
i think i put 3 but not too sure been a while
I just bought a Honda Civic with 300.000 miles on it I checked transmission fluid it's brownish some people say changing transmission fluid ruins the transmission from the loose deposits coming loose from the new fluid any suggestions would be appreciated
Ed Troyer mine was dark blown too and I changed it was not wrong with it
just use some lucas fix atf fluid use half of that when u do the change and it will run smoother it worked for me

You said to fill it up with new oil in this video I hope you don't put oil in your transmission. Lol Nah I knew what you meant.

use a bolt extractor socket or tool
