Hana really help me. I was in a bad place when this aired. I was very depressed, and when i learned that Hana was bullied this badly just like me, I cried, a lot. Whenever she said "Fure Fure, Minna!" it felt like she was cheering for me. I really love Hana, and it really helped me. Ill never stop loving Hugtto with my heart, even if the second half was bad. This show truly helped me.
I legit got dread watching the final episodes. Because I felt something truly gutwrenching was going to happen. Hugtto Precure is so sweet but also sad.
This season also helped me when it was on the air due to how brightly she pushed towards the future. Dream is my absolute favorite Pink - but Yell is definitely a close second (and its funny to know they are both from the same director).
Hana's ark really hit close to home for me, so much more then others. Her character was so lovely and inspirational to someone who has had similar problems to her so much so that I found myself really cheering for her in battle and taking use of her premonitions
It's official that Hana killer herself in the first timeline where she doesn't meet the other thanks to Hugtan. And that is why George decided to stop the time. I think Saaya, Homare, Emiru, Lulu and the entire adventure of being a Precure is what has "filled" Hana and has convinced her to truly love the future and the life.
@@Panther-chan Source: Pretty Cure Wiki (Nono Hana page) Though it was never mentioned, it was heavily hinted that Hana from the original timeline was involved in a tragedy, resulting in George's motivation to freeze time. The events were eventually averted by Hugtan's arrival to the present Hana. According to an interview with Kawamura, the character designer, in the January 2019 issue of the Japanese magazine Animage, the tragedy version of Hana from the future where George and Hugtan came from had never transferred schools. Because she never met Saaya or Homare and was stuck in such a hostile environment, Hana saw no reason to better herself at all.
@@danyanime200 Hm. That doesn't automatically equal suicide though. Considering we know that she's Hugtan's mother, and George is her husband yet doesn't recognise his own daughter, together with the parentals themes, I'd just assumed she died in childbirth
@@Panther-chan remember that Hugtan is pretty much the baby version of Cure Tomorrow - basically Tomorrow was already around 14 also what would make even more sense is Tomorrow not having been Hana and George's daughter at all in the first place. maybe her and the other future cures, along with the mirai crystals, were created by that golden woman, Mother Heart? or whatever her name was which is why Hana had truly been the one and only mother Tomorrow ever had, and why she was never returned to a human form, baby or otherwise
@@Panther-chan hey, it's possible that even with Hugtan/Hugmi as her daughter, Hana didn't feel enough happiness to combat her depression Having a child is no meaning that your life is out of sadness
I am so glad somebody made a video dedicated to this. I was interested In this story yet it all crashed and burned with a hint in the end that adult Hana in the alternative timeline committed suicide. That's dark and brutal but should the fate of the main character, which is a plot point, be left so vague ?
Ok so I have this kind of theory. So Hana is George's lover in George's timeline right? Then maybe something bad happened to Hana (like she's dead or smth), and George was probably having a hard time. So George time leap or smth to teen Hana's timeline with and ideology stop the time cuz he wants to spend times together with Hana(?). When Hana was pregnant, I really think her husband is George. Look at eps 49 (20:49), there's a man running while his hands holding George's fav flower Craspedia "eternal blessings" (Look at eps 46 on 7:12). So, yeah..
Late response, but the husband is George yeah. That part just isn't really up for debate. It's said in everything except words, since that degree of overt romantic commitment is probably still a bit too much for the Precure franchise. But the whole narrative is pointing to it with his fixation on Hana and the central story of their messed up family reconciling throughout time and space. Regarding that bit you mentioned with his iconic yellow flowers, the final endcard of the show (that same ep49) has George holding one with a love heart - i.imgur.com/h27DzwQ.jpg
I love HUGtto!! I love Hana (Cure Yell) and Ruru (Cure Amour) 2018 was a bad year for me and this magical girl series made me smile, the music, the characters, concepts, transformations everything!! Like Hana, I was having a hard time too because I was barely adjusting to a community college, then I found friends! You can do anything, you can be anything, Embrace the sparkling future!” “Hooray Hooray!” “MECHOKKU” 😂😂🥰 HUGtto is my favorite precure series besides Heartcatch, Smile and Happiness Charge.
honestly 31 should've been like 12 she should've just shut down for a bit from the resurgence of her past with 31 ending in the start of the fight and 32 concluding the fight with the power up and ending with scene where hana and eri sort things out
I would agree with most of this until you mentioned the 31st episode. You have no idea how you'll react to a situation until it happens. The whole point of this season was that hana was never okay regardless of whatever friends she had. Since it's about time travel it's likely that hana from George's time was also never going to be okay despite having a family. A staff member on the original production of hugtto is the one who allegedly started the she died via suicide talk and I believe that givin the content of George's character. like real life there is no magic fix
I love hugtto precure, the first half was done so well and is why I still keep watching precure after so many years since futari wa, however I still acknowledge the second half was an utter mess. I am not sure what happened but man the rest of the season was a bit painful to watch.
I love this review but feel weird to say Purikyua instead of just Pretty Cure in English. But I prefer that to saying Precure because it doesnt sound natural.
I don't think she killed herself in the first timeline, if feels more like she laking didn't care of herself so she comidet sacrifice, not knowing that will cause George to create his time Maschine, to try to stop time using magic and scince, cure tomorrow and Harry going back in time also to stop George.
How is Hugtan Hana future should Hugtan shouldn't be born yet and How is George Kurai Hana husband he is adult she is in middle school how can that happen
Glitter force is just the English dub of, so far, only a few generations of the entire franchise. Precure/Pretty Cure (the actual name, not the eng version) originated in Japan and has been a thing since 2004. There are currently 15 pretty cure generations (aka pretty cure shows). They all follow the same pattern of young girls transforming into themed warriors and fighting evil forces, accompanied by some kind of mascots/fairies. However, the main themes and characters change with each generation-new art style, new theme, new characters, new music etc. Literally, nobody copied Glitter Force (the og title is Smile Precure, btw), they are part of the same, continuous franchise.

Same for me, the season aired at the most depressing moment of my life and the she became my exit to the reality, and now I'm so fine
I'm so happy for you guys. Hana is one of the best anime heroines for sure. She's mature and supportive but also needs others' support.

You say it's official but do you have a source? Searching "Hugtto Precure future Hana suicide" doesn't give me anything but fan theories.

One of the best written precure charecters
To be honest behind GoPri, Hugtto becomes the best season in the last 5 years
Not just that, the animation is god

Hey! I am rewatching lain! Damn, episode 5 is still so cryptic. Still the best anime ever made.

ALSO HARD disagree on Tsubomi being more complex. If anything SHE'S EVEN MORE dissapointing than Hana ever was.
Just because it’s different circumstances for Tsubomi and Hana, doesn’t make Tsubomi less complex. Tsubomi arc is still one of the strongests
