I think something that bothered me with healing good was cure earth being purple for no reason
An Air cure with purple would’ve been better
I think it’s because Precure has this thing with “H” seasons (Heartcatch, HapCha, HUGtto, etc.) having purple Cures.
Lets not forget mofurun also had a Ruby sapphire and topaz form from the movie

Tbh I think it’s better yuei didn’t become a cure in go princess it helped out a lot with her arc. She got her dreams stolen three times and broke out of the dream and actually helped with crowd control, made a little appearances and two films, and I think she was a great character for that art. I don’t think every single character needs to be a cure just because we like them and they have character development. Sometimes I think it makes the world bigger that way because we get to see other characters besides just the cure and how they interact with them go is also one of my favorite season so there’s that, but sometimes we get too many and they don’t seem to focus the character development equally
But your commentary on healin hood lmao loved it. Please do more precure videos 😂 but to be honest, I was so apprehensive about healing good, but then, after watching it, it’s actually not bad but I definitely wish Covid didn’t interrupt it because I feel like they would’ve given the yellow a lot better character development and I actually agree I like that the pink did not save him tbh made it more dramatic. I just wish they kept fight scenes as epic as they did in go princess 😩
I agree about Yui as much as I love her character and what she's done she's better off as a non Cure
Correct opinion commenting not to break the like number. Without Yui's arc the heart is gone from Go! Princess and its just a better animated but shallower and badly paced version of Yes5!
This show is over and this video still has more depth than finale’s backstory💀
The only thing that bothers me about Hirogaru Sky Precure is the fact that Kabaton no longer gets much screen time and like i wanna see a whole episode about his new life.. I really love that purple pigs character as well as the Precures and i liked your honest opinions about each Precure season and thank you so much for sharing..

Okay so heres the thing I loved about episode 34 is that Battamonda throws a tantrum and Kabaton gets angry by hitting his and Battamonda's wall and I love how both of them are neighbors but I think both od them live in a apartment building.

*Spalsh Stars* : the outfits like how the freak does the villains look so bad ahh but the cures look so terrible
*Yes Five* : most confusing count of villains like they have a lot of villains and I always get confused on how many are still left near the end of the season
*GoGo* : What was the point of the kings and queens in fact what was the point of the entire season???
*Fresh*: the backgrounds looks so depressing. Amazing season, terrible backgrounds
*Heartcatch*: at this time this comment is posted, I’m half way through Heartcatch but uhm the huge amount of episodes it tooks them for cure sunshine to appear in and it was at the most random time ever
*Suite*: Haven’t watched yet
*Smile*: There’s literally nothing wrong with this season for me. I love this season
*DokiDoki*: Similar to Heartcatch, they took forever for Regina to turn into the good side again at a random time like I wished they made her change once the backstory between her and cure ace was revealed
*Happiness Charge*: the animation…it’s so bad…
*Go Princess*: Amazing Series. Terrible Movies.
*Mahou Girls: I…am the number one fan of this season but the only thing I don’t like is how they changed the villain group which is okay but I wish they kept the original group plus the dude with the bee mascot I forgot his name
*KiraKira*: the later half of the show was ruined by Cure parfait. Atleast the ending made me cry and hey it was the first ever Precure season I finished!
*Hugtto: the mostly mentions of pregnancy like there were a lot of pregnant women in that season and it really concerns me like I know this season was supposed to be more mature but like let it go a bit
*Star Twinkle*: Fuwa should’ve been the entire universe like if she disappeared, the whole world disappeared like they were being so selfish in order to save a annoying mascot
*Healing good*: I love this season but I got spoiled for the ending for this and now I don’t really know what to think of it. It’s mostly forgettable and honestly I would say that I do not like it
*Tropical Rouge*: My favorite season….a masterpiece….nothing wrong
*Delicous Party* :…..I freaking hate this season with all my heart but the one thing…Yui….thats all
*Hirogaru* : I hate how the first half of the season had so much plot in It but the second half was just a bunch of filter episodes and a disappointing finale
*Wondeful* : the fights along with the animation like I’m trying so hard not to dislike this season….
Unpopular opinion but Regina staying as an unofficial/non precure was much better than Regina becoming a precure because from what I have seen so far, precures tend to develop better when they were villains and as soon as they become precures, their characterization becomes bland. Towa and Lulu are examples of this. Haruka, Minami and Kirara developed better before Towa got redeemed and Towa was so much more developed when she was still Twilight but once she became a precure, she became a bland character who unnecessarily hogged too much spotlight from the other 3 precures. Lulu was so much better when she was a villain because she struggled to break free of being an android who only serves to follow Papple's instructions, the latter who treated her like a useless mechanical doll after Lulu tried to join the precures but ever since she met Emiru, the two became unbreakable partners to the point most of Lulu's characterization was reliant on Emiru which made her character boring and annoying as a result. Regina not taking the redemption path by becoming a precure during midseason episodes was a breath of fresh air imo.

Yeah, I actually enjoyed what they did with the story of Doki Doki and how it was more unique and different from other seasons. Regina not becoming a Pretty Cure and red girl joining instead was kind of cool. Besides, I might be like the only person who actually really likes Aguri/Cure Ace as a character haha
What a minute, since when was Lala a villain?
One of the reasons Doki Doki is one of my favorites is that they took the roundabout route with Regina and made her overall redemption arc all the more memorable, even if she got robbed of becoming a Cure. One other major reason is that I'm a Mana cultist lol.

Also tropical rogue had a lot of potential (and I know they were trying to be lighthearted and fun because it was post 2020) but they gave Laura so much spotlight while the purple definitely didn’t get enough attention this season. Which is interesting because you said Yui should’ve became a cure, but in all actuality, the designer for gold princess also did tropical rouge and Coral’s character design was inspired by yui
@@saiyaujeff8171 I do want to say this, though, if I’m ranking a cure, I do rank them based on what I’m given not by with the developers or riders fail to give them for example, up until the middle of higorua sky (or however tf you spell it) sora was a great lead. Not only did she help uplift mashiro, watch her childhood idol who inspired her to become a hero fall, and always display signs of heroism, she was never cocky about it even in smaller scenes. When people were fighting, she would break up the fights now, when it came to the middle of the season, where they totally just had that episode where the hero idolize just comes back and is fine. It kind of ruined it for me, because they made it seem like she was going to end up being evil or something I don’t know. I feel like it’s not really his fault as much as it is the writers in the room who took over riding the midseason, but I feel like it’s always the same with these recent seasons of precure. They have a really good start of episodes, but then it just falls halfway through but I disagree I don’t think so is the worst I get if you don’t like her as a character that’s fine but we’ve definitely had worse leads in my opinion.

Personal Opinion, I felt like in Delicious party after they gave Amane back to Her brothers, the other four episodes from 12-16 were just plain-old filler. Like, I mean they could of use these four to build up Amane’s character and story but that’s just wasted.

1:25 I would have absolutely loved it if yui became a cure, but i feel like being able to help without having to be a cure is the point of her character, so her being a cure would kind of ruin her development 😭

You forgot to mention for Hirogaru Sky Precure is that Cure Prism got a low-budget transformation animation imo
Hirogaru sky has so much potential but it only focuses on Sora's story becoming a hero. It also disappoints me when they don't have any POWER UP transformation like WHY!? IT'S THE 20TH ANNIVERSARY OF PRECURE but it seems that they did not prepare more surprises. Disappointed of the fight scenes as well, only Sky and Majesty outshined on it.

i LOVVEEE cure butterfly/ageha she may be one of my favourite cures idrk but why did she become a precure in EPISODE 18 but cure wing became a precure in the same episode that we saw him (apart from a few cameos) like what ageha had so much potential

Personally I disagree with your take on Yayoi and Miyuki. They’re extremely talked about, but they’re also extremely well written characters. They have actual character flaws that they have time to develop from. Yayoi is probably the more obvious case, since her flaw is that she’s a coward, but we see why she still tries, why she still wants to be a cure, and we slowly see her start to become less afraid of that role.
Oh no, I’m not saying they’re not great characters, I just feel like they’re very overhyped.
I’d say her first major step in becoming less afraid was in ep 22. At that point, the Cure’s had lost to Joker again, this time after fighting him. They’d realized that Joker was on a much higher level than them and they were horrified once they realized what that meant. They’d lost to him when we wasn’t even trying, and they were somehow supposed to beat Pierrot, the guy that’s WAY more powerful than them? Its clear that they thought they might’ve died, and despite all that, Yayoi, who’d run away from far less dangerous situations than this, decided that she’d rather fight alongside the cures than lose a friend like Candy. Even when losing against Akaoni, she was crying and beaten yet still tried to fight because she still refused to let go of her friends, who she made so many memories with.

I don't think they learned the lesson... everytime they make a food themed season, it's bad hahahah... but... for now... al the seasons after those food themed are really good (hugtto and hirogaru).... so... maybe they should keep doing food themed seasons after all😂
No cuz when the leaks for hirogaru sky came out i was soo exited for a duo and then i was like oh. Tbh cure sky and prism should’ve become cures at the same time to be a true tribute to black and white and to balance the power dynamic a bit. Then have wing join in ep 9 like he does but we would’ve gotten an actual sense of a duo from them

I agree, Hirogaru sky could of stayed as a duo for a little longer before Tsu’s debut. If they started with a duo, make the duo longer
Honestly, I wanted Regina around as a *non-Cure*, particularly since she has a more distinctive powerset than the Kiryuu sisters or Black Pepper.
1:30 After substituting for Kirara for a couple of episodes, she goes back to civilian for a bit, then becomes a second-blue midseason.
1:40 Too many character designs, and they had an item for her. That didn't stop Mofurun, I guess.
3:00 Hadn't thought of it that way before.

For me, I would probably say:

Yes! 5 / GoGo: Mint and Rouge weren’t given as much screen time / attention as the others, which is a shame because they had a lot of potential
Fresh: I agree, lol, weakest power-ups ever
Heartcatch: Why do the fairies have to poop the heart seeds out? I know it’s targeted at kids, but come on :/
Suite: I agree, their super forms are- not great to look at, lol
Smile: Not a very good plot. It’s a fun season, but the plot is probably one of the most boring in the franchise.
Doki Doki: They didn’t need a mid-season cure at all (as in, neither Aguri nor Regina). There simply wasn’t enough time to focus on the (already very heavy) plot AND introduce a new character.
Happiness Charge: Blue is a horrible person, to the point where I sympathise with Mirage
Go! Princess: The writers just bullied Yui by making Towa a cure but not her (despite Yui being there from episode 1)
Mahoutsukai: The villains were very forgettable, as none of them really had interesting personalities.
Kira Kira: The episodes before the Julio arc all sucked, although things got better once he arrived in my opinion
Hugtto: Ange and Etoile deserved more screen time (after Ma Cherie and Amour arrived, it was almost like the writers forgot about them aside from a few scattered moments)
Star Twinkle: I don’t really like unicorn Fuwa, I found her original design much cuter, lol
Healin’ Good: I love her, but why is cure EARTH a WIND-themed cure? Come on, Toei, you had the perfect opportunity to give us a proper green and missed it :/
Tropical rouge: This series seems to forget about everyone aside from Manatsu and Laura. By the time La Mer arrives, the others are basically background characters

tropical rouge should be a duo of cure Summer and LaMer, as the season has always connected these two. And it would be very interesting and there could be new attacks and the ending would be sad, but what it already was.
And there are seasons where a duo works better than a group, for example Star Twinkle, where Cure star, Milky and cosmo had more prominence leaving Selene and Sollei. could form a duo and then come to cosmos.

So I'm bored so I'll comment. Also some small honest hot takes I have on Precure. Because I made paragraphic titles and I wasn't able to explore more hot takes I'll give more. Why not?
1. Villain redeemed cures are better than baby mascot turned cures. Villains may be too "redeemable" to others, but I don't mind them being turned into heroic cures. There's a reason why Cure Passion/Setsuna/Eas is the most favorite cure. She went from a typical evil general to a person learning about friendship, dancing, and redeeming herself. Why should we respect mascot turned cures when they're only made because sales and never get a compelling arc besides 'is this what humans are like'? There's a reason why I dislike Ciel as well as other fairy mascots turned cures, because it cheapens their dynamic of a mascot with a cure. Is a mascot memorable because she/he can fight, or is it because their a simple sixth range. Now it can be right like Cure Felice and a cure that started this trend that I will defend.
2. Milk or Milky Rose is NOT a bad mascot and it's because she's herself. Yes 5 introduced Coco and Nuts who helped the five main girls until they had Milk. In all honesty, I used to dislike Milk but out of the Yes 5 Mascots Milk is my favorite. She's so bossy yet unlike the other two mascots she gets development. She and Nozomi have the best mascot vs cure dynamics because while she's bossy she does have good points. Or how unlike Coco who fallen in love with Nozomi even though he's older mentor/animal (ugh), she has a better dynamic with Nozomi. It all cultivates into Yes 5 Gogo, and unlike people saying she's a flawless cure. While it's true her time as Milky Rose unfortunately overshadowed the cast she was beautiful. And she actually matures as Milky Rose, you don't see that in mascot cures. So while you may call her a jerk, at least has more personality than any mascot who's only cute or crybaby. (Except for Moforun, Candy and Pop, The Healing Good Fairies etcetera they are precious and I love them.) You go queen Milk/Milky Rose slay.
3. Star should've had a better personality and her flaws could've made her lovable. Remember the infamous "I hate you line" she said to Milky when they argued in an episode. Yes it's rude and uncalled for but I feel Star should've been given a stubborn side. Besides say Black or Melody from what I remembered, most of the cures can get too focus on their goals but when someone tells them they're doing it wrong they instantly stop/apologize or ignore them until they overstress themselves. When Star said that I thought we finally had a modern cure lead with actual flaws. Star should've had an arc where even if she has an active imagination or attitude she learns to not overreact or cool her personality. Which is why I loved her in the solo movie Star Twinkle were in where she is actually serious and not all energetic. Which is why Grace is my favorite modern cure lead and easily my favorite main character in Precure alongside Happy, Flora, Dream, Blossom, Yell, Peach, etcetera. She had flaws and I wished Star should've had flaws too.
4. Who cares about colors? Yes look I know we all wish to have different colors but what's the big deal. Its based on the executives, creators and writers decisions and I'm sure even if we have different colors does it effect the story? NO. I do wish Precure explored some colors but if they want to play it safe that's okay. Besides I'm interested with how each season tackles/experiments on motifs/colors so please can we stop saying we need colors of green, brown, or anything. If a season will do that I'm sure another Prexure season would do that. Its based on marketing guys.
5. I don't care about the amount of cures I want to see how they are dynamic relationship wise. Out of all the seasons I believe Yes 5 has the best team chemistry out of the entire seasons. Dream is the bright and optimistic leader, Rogue is the sporitsh and firey power, Aqua is the strategic and flowing wise smart girl, Lemonade is the cheery and excitable light, and Mint is meek yet kind defender who uses shields. Compare this to a three dynamic of Mahou Tsukai with Miracle, Magical and Felice. Their team dynamic isn't as memorable. Because it depends on execution. As long as the team doesn't get overcrowded and each member has a chance to shine I enjoy it.
6. Monsters in Precure need to get more creative beyond the possess object or person. Modern monsters are so bland and unappealing now. They're simply just possess a person or an object. Monsters should take another approach. What if they in turn became sentient creatures and start to predict and defeat the cures. That way they would be terrifying due to them being threatening. Or what if they possess a person and rather than having the lerson trapped, the person becomes a sentient monster that shows their true colors deep down. That would make more character development.
7. I wished we didn't need human form mascots. Look I get they are useful for mascots to blend into society or disguise themselves but seriously. I'm not interested in disguises and if done sus like Coco with Nozomi it can get cringy. Say what you will about Tart, he's easily the weakest being unable to transform into a human nor turn into a transformation device but he's useful at being loyal and supportive. We need more mascots like Tart that may act useless but aren't.

*Futari Wa/Max Heart* I agree with you, I don’t know why Shiny Luminous is treaty poorly, BESIDES she was barely seen at all in the Hugtto PreCure X Futari Wa PreCure movie!
*Splash Star* Honestly, the two girls should’ve been midsession cures and they should’ve had the Cure Bright and Cure Windy forms. Why.
*Yes 5/Gogo* I don’t know why but Go go should’ve never aired because Milky Rose isn’t in the group transformation which keep’s annoying me SO much!
*Fresh* Nothing bothers me besides Cure Pine’s hairstyles I mean it DOESN’t change beside her hair color, why would Toei do that?

Luminous was barely in All Stars 15th because it's _Futari wa_ (not Max Heart) and Hugtto.
Itsuki wore the male uniform since she was the heir to her brother, and she felt forced to hide her femininity due to such.
As for Happiness Charge not being the 10th anniversary, different places have different definitions. In one place, it corresponds with the 10th year of production (i.e. 2004-2014 being 10 years); other places define these yearly seasons having the anniversary be the season's number (i.e. Hirogaru Sky was the 20th Precure season. They called it the 20th anniversary)

Max heart - i wished that Shiny Luminous wasnt shoe horned in for every ep. Like her fighting was so weak, and she only purified and froze people (i love her animation tho)
Splash Star - hot take. Some of my fav villains. Their evil but with pizzazz and i clap for the finale bc that twist got me GOOD
Yes precure - coco shouldve been just a childhood crush that nozomi had. Bc coco was a whole man, he should have never reciprocated her feelings. Cure Aqua was my first precure fav
Fresh- It took until cure passion to be really good. Also my all time fav villains. Their finale was also really good and really dark. Cure passion is one of my favs and i will rip a persons hair out for her.
Heart catch - marine overrated. Sunshine underrated. Also! The colors. i realized that sunshine and moonlight arent yellow and purple. THEYRE SILVER AND GOLD and its genius. Please dont hurt me.
Suite - wasted potentional. For a music series i wished there was a harder focus on it
Smile - its for feel good moments. But when it gets to feelings they got it. I agreen happy and peace are overrated i like the other 3 wayyy more
Doki doki- i hate cure ace. I wish the character focused episodes were more balanced. I wish we had more regina build up to make me back mana up more.
Happiness charge - the finale had so much potential! The fact that cure LOVEly was heartbroken. That was so ground breaking for precure that she couldnt back up her own love because of it all. Thought i wish seiji was more of a brother than a love interest
Princess- I LOVE THIS SEASON. Towa/scarlet was good, but shockingly not as much screentime as i was told. Love Mermaid sm, made top 5
Maho- uhhh. Imo, the pacing was whack. Felice was a mixed bag for me bc she was kinda annoying. Im so sorry, but she was so pushy about everything like a child. I wish she was more elegant with a slight goofy side. I wish they pushed characters a bit more than giving them slight quirks
Kira kira- i agree the fights suck. Villains kinda mid. I love whip, that when she was baking for her mom it made me cry. I wish the character eps were balanced better bc gelato was so wasted. Team chocolat, shes so understanding. I wish macaron was a little less of a trickster, shes not a team player and everyone acts like she is
Hugtto - loved it made me cry. I wish Etoile got more screen time and yell was more fleshed out. I wish they focused on doing odd jobs like when they babysat and helped in Hana's dad's store. The villains were so good except big bad... why did he have to be a grown man with a pre teen girl. Why couldnt he be revealed as the trumpet player boy.
Star - wasted potential. Lala couldve learned her lessons a bit better than falling into bad habits. No one stands out imo. And i literally forgot the villains. Tho i give it props for a dark ending. I did cry
Healing good- SCREW DARUZEN! The moment he rubbed the dark stuff on raibarin he lost all pity. Grace got his butt and is one of my fav leaders. I love cure sparkle. Shes so adhd but shes self conscious about messing up, and its so cute. Also cure earth is boring
Tropical - i love it but papaya is not handeled well and flamingo needed more screen time and better connections with the group. Papaya could've been a chat noir moment with a book nerd and than transforms into this hyperactive rainbow girl. I think her personality and transformation doesnt match
Delicious- i loved the designs of everyone. Black pepper shouldve been a cure and i love him. All the boys were super pretty lol. Finale shouldve had black hair, i hate her going from such a pretty black and purple pallete to a blonde
Hirogaru- started good. Lost me when magesty joined. I dont support anyone who ships cure wing with anyone. And especially the freaks who ship Elle and Tsubasa. I love cure butterfly and wing. I wish prism had a better focused interest than jumping around, or at least make it known that she wasnt sure on her interests
Ive hyperfixated over this franchise for most of my life and watched all 20 in the past 2 yrs. The difference in clip binging and watching was super fun. Sorry its long but i love precure
How is Splash Star having good villains a hot take?
Marine isn't over-rated (the series as a whole is) but she's definitely the worst and best thing at the same time. Heartcatch's villains suck and get simultanously over-exposed and underdeveloped.
The villains are the best part of Fresh its just that Wescar gets over exposed in a way that works against the theme of the show while also being the most entertaining thing on screen which is a big let down after Yes5! which was thematically perfect.
@@AC-dk4fp villains aren't really talked about unless they're shipped. I was suprised when Splash had really fun dynamic villains. For most of my life I was basing everything off of clips and bits of lore before actually knowing the plot so it was a shock
It's not like I don't like marine. It's because I think sunshine needs more love. I think heartcatch isn't over rated but deserving of what they did. The dark messages and the unique style. I agree their villains should've been built a bit more but it was willing to be dark for kids and I think its great (futariwa did it too)
And the reason Fresh's villains are so good is because they don't understand why what they're doing is bad. Theyre following orders and what they know. Wester questioning this when Setsuna left was so charming becuase it showed they all had human connections even though labryth didn't want them to.

I actually do hate Marine and her stupid fashion club and prefer Yes5! when everyone has individual hobbies or Fresh where their shared hobby feels like a more natural part of their friendship or even Kira Kira Petite Bougois A La Girlboss when everyone being forced into a club actually matters to the plot I'm just able to put personal feelings behind when I feel like being more objective.

Nothing really bother you in Hugtto? Are you serious? What about Hana and George problematic relationship? What about Homare's individual story being summarized on a stupid platonic romance? What about the weird relationship between a little girl and an android? What about the lame fight scenes? What about the bad development for the villains? What about the lack of origins explanaitions? Like, where did Harry came from and why he can transform into a hamster?
George and Hana relationship was I admit a bit uncomfortable but remember that in the future where he’s from Hana was his wife and she died.

While I absolutely LOVED Hirogaru Sky I wish they’d had a power up with new outfits instead of just going all glowy. Also, Prism’s transformation was a massive let down after Sky’s awesome one! The background score was so epic and Prism just didn’t match that energy with her movements like Sky did, so her whole transformation just seemed really out of sync and jarring to watch.
Disagree with what was said about Yes Precure 5 and Heartcatch, indifferent about Daruizen....
But yeah, I really didnt care for the powered up forms in Fresh? Particularly Berry and Pine's forms especially, like what are those?

Max heart is my favorite season but I totally agree with you. Like in the frist movie they have done anything possible in the world to not make louminous fight. Or even in the series and people forgot that she is kinda powerful. (She ate in the second movie also she can make a shield, you can see it in the frist all starts movie)

Wonderful Precure: not finished airing at the time of writing this but it took 17 episodes for me to care about this season like i did with the others
I hated how Majesty was such a spotlight stealer compared to even other midseasons
One thing that upset me about majesty also is that she was super powerful in the first few episodes she was in but after they made her way weaker
I started at Princess Precure, MahouTsukai. And Cure Felice is my absolute favorite ! But I was so disappointed that she couldn't use the others Stones... Like come on, she's the Emerald ! I thought that just like the Tourmaline, she could use all the other stones and that the four main ones could be like how she uses the tourmaline. I was so disappointed that she could use ONLY the tourmaline like, wtf bro ? 😭

Yes 5:They are literally everywhere. They appeared for 2 seasons/97 episodes. Apperared in Hugtto for 2 episodes, appeared in Healin Good movie, even got sequel spinoff mini series.

Suite: Really long transformations and attacks.

Healin Good: The source of Nodoka's illness turns out to be Daruizen. This ruined all the magic about Nodoka.
Also season is way slow paced.
Tropical Rouge: Only focused on Laura and Manatsu. Others are threw into background.
Delicious Party: What did they manage to do right other than Kokone's story?
Hirogaru Sky: Although it brings many differences (blue and foreign leader, boy cure, adult cure, cure that her civil form is baby) to attract the audience, the plot is sloppy.
While I do agree that Haruka's wish is unrealistic, she was a child when she made that wish. And some may have expected her to get over it, I feel as if this series intended to showcase that you don't have to be born into royalty/marry into a royal family to be considered a "princess".

Every Precure But I'm Brutally Honest My Hot Takes PART 2
Star Twinkle: The most wasted potential given the behind the scenes drama. Star was so bland and am I the only one who enjoyed she actually had emotions by being angry and unintentionally saying bad things. She could've had an arc of controlling her emotions but nevertheless she was overshadowed by Milky who was the only one I enjoyed. I feel bad for Soleil and Selene as they could've had development, but because they were developed later on by Toei it sucks they never had even spotlight. Out of the two Soleil was my favorite because even though I feel the represenation wasn't enough, she was a character that wasn't a stereotype and I hope there's other diffetent ethnicities to play Pretty Cure. Cosmos was fine but never cared for her...and also wished she and Milky looked alien. Though I did enjoy exploring space and wished we had more exploration. At least Star Twinkle gave us interesting bsckgrounds and some inteteresting themes...that never got developed due to how bad the behind the scenes drama was like. The villains are the most sympathetic but I don't believe they deserve redemption unlike Eas. They never earned it also the main villain's motivation was bad. But hey at least their solo movie was actually good and Star was able to be serious. Just wished Toei gaved the original creator their story.
Healing Good: I loved Healing Good. Their cast was a back to the basics until Earth showed up though besides that I loved the cast. Grace is easily the best cure and one of my favorites and as a person with disabilities I liked how Grace struggled and has to get used to it. But poor Sparkle never got enough development sadly due to Healing Good unfortunately made during the worst time of the 21st century. And Daruizen was the only villain that carried the series as the rest were either wasted or just there. Also wished Nodoka fought Daruizen one last time and have Nodoka defeat Daruizen. Also Earth I didn't despise but I didn't enjoy due to her appearing later on. Unlike most seasons it didn't need a sixth ranger and Earth wasn't engaging than other sixth rangers.
Tropical Rogue: If Konosuba was Pretty Cure. This season was the most funniest season in Pretty Cure but I prefer Smile because at least Smile developed its characters. Besides La Mer and Flamingo the rest were fine but thrown at the wayside. Did enjoy Manatasu and Laura but maybe the story could've taken some of the episodes seriously. Also yes I get they were gag villains but I enjoyed Bad End more than them. Also the poor Witch deserves better than being upstaged by a seahorse of all things.
Delicious Party: I feel Delicious Party deserved better...but at the same time maybe not? I may not like the series but I don't think its the worst one. Yes I know Yui and the others were generic. But we had Rosemary and he stole the show and I love their outfits being based on different restaurants and food. Too bad it had no flavor for its characters too. I wished this season could've took inspiration from Delicious Party Dungeon or even Chowder because creative wise it would've been interesting. Too bad the creators had no clue on cooking the series was half a burger.
Hirogaru Sky: This season...in my opinion is the most wasted season yet. A fall from grace. If this season arrived during the time the Superhero Genre was booming it would've had the most interesting plot and dynamics. And the villains could've been cool supervillains...but they're just goofy anthromorphic animals or something. The main villain was the worst of the entire franchise and besides Prism and Wing, I enjoyed the cast but they had the most wasted potential. And also they should've had it focus on superheroes being complicated. It just wasn't as what I expected.
Wonderful: Disliked the designs and I do feel the chasing vs fighting against animals might get tiring really quickly. Let's just hope it took inspiration from Kira Kira and made it more better. Missed the beautiful transformations though I enjoyed how short snf striaght to the point it is. Also am I the only one who enjoys the animals actually act like animals.
So since I cannot keep my mouth shut let's do more honest opinions.
1. Nozomi and Coco wasn't bad as I thought, and out of all the precure relationships its more healthier than Blue's relationship with Mirage and Megumi. Yes maybe I may not be a big shipper of their relationship, but throughout Yes 5 and Go Go Coco respects Nozomi's boundaries. He doesn't disrespect her and tries his best to help Nozomi out. I think the reason why I disliked their relationship is how Precure Full Bloom spinoff of Yes 5 and Splash Star kind of ruined their dynamic. Because Nozomi is an adult now and Coco is a prince serving his kingdom, perhaps Precure should've had an arc where realistically relationships cannot always be sustain since life is complicated. Perhaps the responsibilities of both of them will make them learn its okay to separate and understand differences in maintaining relationship. Unfortunately this is from Japan, and since they focus on the beginning of a relationship rather than exploring the complicated side of it Nozomi and Coco could've been more.
2. Hirogaru Sky isn't bad unlike Happiness Charge, but I feel out of every theme explored in Precure it wasn't interesting and wasted. As much as I dislike Suite for how boring it was, at least it explored how music affects us as well as having one of the best final boss villains. Noise the GOAT. But Hirogaru never explored more on the other precure members, nor learn about the complicated nature of heroism. Sentai and Kamen Rider tackled this and yet Hirogaru went too easy. And we cannot deny they have the worst final boss but it doesn't compare to Mahou's final fight.
3. Earlier precure is fun to watch and I say writing wise those seasons tackled good themes than modern precure. But I wouldn't be lying if I said most feel outdated. Now don't get me wrong I love most of the earlier Precure Seasons, but I kind of disliked the reused animation, Yes 5 Gogo and Max Heart were just there as fillee, and also I feel the early mascots were so annoying to watch. Except Tart, Coco, Nuts, Milk, The Orange Yes 5 Gogo Bird I forgot his name, Siren, Candy, Pop and Hummy those mascots were the GOATS. I love Heartwatch but gosh darn it were their fairies so annoying to sit through. Ugh that heart seed scene where they release those tokens is still in my mind. How did said animators get away with that. I prefer Moforun and the Healing Good Mascots.
4. I prefer transformations that are creative yet straight to the point. As much as I enjoyed the transformation sequences of Go Princess as they are my favorite henshin in the series, I cannot deny their transformations were kind of long to sit through. That's why I enjoyed Moonlight's transformation because she is experienced already, and knows it's the time to kick butt.
5. Maybe not every precure should have an adult time skip. In my opinion I feel it was kind of weird modern precure had the grown up adult time skip. The reason why I didn't mind Healing Good having an adult timeskip (because it could've if it weren't for a simple event back at 2020) is that Nodoka and her friends still have a lot to grow. But with the ability of taking care of themselves and also helping nature it's good. As much as I enjoyed Huggto, I will about the Hana Pregnant scene was kind of awkward to watch. But if done well like the adult ending of Mahou Tsukai I like it. Gosh the Cure Up Rapapa scene always gets to me with Mirai crying so hard trying to reunite with her friends. (The adult ending was the only memorable part of a precure series I didn't care about.)
6. Out of all the seasons I loved. As much as I enjoyed Smile looking back at the season I do feel it may not have aged well. To be fair Smile's team was fun, enjoyable and light hearted. They felt like a real group of friends and Miyuki, Yayoi and Reika are among my favorite cures in the franchise. It's too bad Akane and Nao weren't able to get as much development. And as much as I love Epsiode 24, it's sadly reverted back to the status quo of collecting the macguffin Decor and the villains being idiots doesn't help. (Though then again this is Precure of course it follows this trope) And one thing is that perhaps the moe aspect was used way too much because we all know it was for attracting more otakus. I also wished that we could've had more on the fairytale aspect because yeah...their story while it did reference fairytales didn't do as much. They still have the best precure mascots which is Candy and Pop. And their solo movie was one of the best movies in the franchise.
7. Despite Suite being one of my least favorite precure series for its pretty cure designs, the main duo not as memorable, or the villain generals. I will admit that Noise is my favorite precure villains and one of my top 5 precure final battles in the entire series. He is a living embodiment of sadness and he didn't want to exist as a being of sorrow. He has one of the most intmidating designs and he had the best reason for being evil. He's probably the best villain that represented the theme of Suite well, even though I never cared for Suite. Even if its my least favorite series, at least I remembered Noise for elevating the series partially.
What surprised me was how you said smile is overrated, where are the people that overrated, as someone who has a special place in their heart most of the comments on smile that I see is ppl saying how they don’t like it that much bc it’s too goofy/light hearted

Completely agree. I love Cure Ace. Although I wish she had set-up and was maybe introduced earlier, I still think she ended up having some of the best development in the season next to Regina and Makoto. She's one of my favorite characters and definitely over hated.

Everyone gives her grief for being annoying or bossy in the beginning, but she's literally a 10 year old with an insane amount of pressure and expectations on her shoulders. Of course she's not gonna be the best at expressing her feelings. She just needed friends to open up to and help her understand that she doesn't need to be so closed off, and she found that in Mana and the gang.

So since I'm bored let me comment on other unpopular opinions.
1. If a concept of a precure series is utilized well good. There is a reason why Heartcatch is beloved, for it has an interesting concept with Flower Language but also accepting yourself and change. The reason why Delicious Party failed is that the writers did not even care about the concept of food and cooking. They literally confessed they have no knowledge of cooking which is why Delicious Party feels half baked with its concepts at times.
2. I feel Precure should have a dark main precure as the main villain. Yes we had Dark Precure from Heartcatch but technically she was a creation not an actual Pretty Cure. Yes we had Cure Mirage but she was just a brainwashed precure. And yes we have the Dark Five from Yes Five and Bad End Precure but they were just dark clones. And Mirage Pretty cure from Heartcatch are just obstacles not villains. No a precure that willingly turned evil I don't care if they have a tragic backstory or be evil, they would show the darker side of precure and magical girls. I know we had Cure Supreme in the movies but I want a true main dark magical girl, but a twisted version of a magical girl. Imagine they act like Nui Harime from KLK or Himiko Toga from Mha. It would be an interesting concept.
3. I wish we had Precure dub. I feel out of all Japanese exclusive anime Precure needs to be given an English Dub. Yes I know we have Saban's Glitter Force (Ugh the name is weird) and while it did a great job with its first dub the second dub was a mixed bag. Does not help that the second season adaption of Doki Doki removed valuable content. And gosh darn it I get they do not want lighting effects but this is not Pokemon Porygon incident okay. I don't care if people despise english dub voice acting, if Precure needs to get popular it needs to get popular with foreign dubs.
4. I wished the main precure villains help their villains out. I mean I know there is main plot reasons because they're the big bad or hidden but come on they need help. I know Tropical Rogue joked about their main villainess being a lazy bumb I get it, but it showed how kind of ridiuclous the main villain just sits there and that's it. I know they have to wait for the main girls to defeat them but its kind of nauseating to watch.
5. I wished we had a main precure lead become bad in the end. That would be so interesting and a subversion of the evil generals redeeming herself and becoming good. Like it would be so unexpected yet terrifying to watch them betray their team, fairies and what a Precure even stands for.
Healing Good: As a Darunodo shipper, I understand why some people dislike this ship and why Nodoka's decision was right.
If that is the case, then Daruizen, as an irredeemable villain, doesn't still deserve to go out like this. Not afraid, conored, scared and crying for his life type of going out.
He deserves to be a final boss. He derserves a final epic fight against Nodoka and have the most dashing death and exit.

*Max Heart* Shiny Luminous was wasted, why wasn’t she called Cure Shiny, or Cure Luminous.

*Go Go* It’s not fair how Milky Rose isn’t in the group transformation, and why isn’t she named Cure Milky, or Cure Rose.

*Heartcatch* The first seen where Shypre and Cofferet go inside Tsubomi’s chest…
*Suite* Why don’t Hibiki and Kanade get solo transformations, how unfair. And why does the setting take place in a town, I was hoping they would be in a city 🏙️
*Smile* I agree, it’s too overrated and we should’ve gotten a mid season cure.
*Doki Doki* Nothing bothers me, but I didn’t want Aguri to become older when she transforms into Cure Ace.

Kirakira Ala Mode - No Physical Fights. The attacks are weak in my opinion. The only things I liked there were Aoi and the Sweets (I have Sweet Tooth).

Star Twinkle - My least favorite season. The characters are great, but I find Hikaru's voice way annoying, and the fights are boring. The only things I liked are Lala, Madoka, Fuwa, and the Star Princesses.
Healin' Good - None.
Tropical Rouge - I like the cosmetic thing, but I found the character development unbalancing. Sango deserves to have more screentime.
Delicious Party - The Delicious Field is the same all over again. I am fine having a Delicious Field being featured as long as the background is different. I also don't like Yui being a lead Cure since she has lesser focus in said season.

Kira Kira & Fresh Precure are my favorite series. I watched Kira Kira in middle school and when I finished it then found out people disliked it a lot it broke my heart. I could kinda understand why but the story line and characters were so interesting to me I didn’t care about the fight scenes. Delicious was the opposite for me, the fight scenes were fine but the cures I could not STAND. They felt like normal cures but lemme be specific, I hated PRECIOUS. She got on my nerves so much I dropped the series because of her. There’s other things I didn’t like about it but it did help me realize the my dislike for delicious was how some people felt about Kira 🤷🏾♀️every series has its flaws but for some reason I really dislike Delicious Party (I wrote a 2 1/2 page paper on why a while back 😭)
tropical rouge isnt so bad so far kinda chose the series because i live in a tropical setting so i kinda resonate with the background and a lot of the characters, its just that their precure designs werent executed very well to the overall tropical theme. like you can have hella colors and still make a good design but i wished they enhanced their design motifs a little more 😭 especially with cure flamingo she had a lot more potential to work with given her character

Futari Wa: I enjoyed the series but other than that some parts of it haven't aged well. Kiriya deserved a better redemption arc and I cannot deny it was annoying to hear "Dual Aurora Wave!" And "Marble Screw!" everytime I watch an episode. Gosh it sound annoying to hear. And am I the only one who felt their transformation was uncomfortable to watch.
Max Heart: The sequel season that just happened. Shiny Luminous is fine...but she's just there.
Splash Star: Michiru and Kaoru deserved to be cures like everyone said. I enjoyed Splash more than Futari wa but sorry...I never got interested in Cure Bloom or Egret. Not because they were taking elements but I honestly feel their duo dynamic didn't compare to Black and White. Also I feel duos only work if both connect, sure say what you will about 5 members but at least they all connect.
Yes 5: One of the best teams chemistry wise and I enjoyed the villains. Nozomi is a balance between helpful yet assertive and serious at times. But no offense I liked the Gogo designs more than their original counterparts.
Gogo: Yeah another forgettable season. But unlike Shiny Luminous, am I the only one who loved Milky Rose. Yes Milk was an annoying piece of cheese but she was honestly my favorite mascot becausd she wasn't adorable. She was her own person. If Milky wasn't Milk she would've been too Op. Still wished she was nerfed but hey at least she was interesting than Shiny ever was. Other than that it was meh. At least we got Bumbee.
Fresh: This season deserved more appreciation for helping the series saved from being cancelled and one of my favorites. But I do feel it may not have aged well with Chiffon being annoying, the villains being redeemed even though we saw them sucked away in a black hole, and the pretty cure final forms being the most medicore in the franchise. Also I enjoyed Passion but in all honesty maybe we're kind of making her redemption story overrated and not appreciate the other redeemed ones.
Heartcatch: One of my favorite seasons and the best characters and team. However I do feel Sunshine deserved more development in her arc, the villains besides Daddy Issues and Dark Pretty Cure aren't memorable and the fairies...they're easily the worst besides Cologne. I cannot get the scene where they create a Heart Item and it's blegh. However I enjoyed the movie where they go to Paris and has one of the most compelling villains ever. He reminds me from Ardyn Izunia in Final Fantasy. Too bad Oliver was forgettable, and he didn't even look like a wolf...
Suite: This season might be easily the most forgettable for me and one I dislike. I did enjoyed Melody being like a tomboy, but I couldn't take her friendship angst with Rhythm seriously. Beat, Muse and the final antagonist Noise were the only characters that carried this series. Noise had the best backstory and motivations though too bad the villains were the most cringiest. At least Team Rocket was memorable. Also the pretty curw designs are the worst in the franchise. Say what you will about modern precure designs, but these cures don't look like muscians. What are they K Pop/J Pop, Marching Band Members, Anything?! They should've given them different musical outfits based on the genre because Beat had the guitar! Sigh...
Smile: Gosh I loved Smile. Their characters and motif was the best. The most memorable and I enjoyed it. However, maybe this was one of the series that kept on making the monster of the week annoying. I loved the Bad End Trio but jeez....they were so bad at their job. And Sunny and March desrerved more development. Which is why I admit I precure Yes for developing all five more. But at least Joker stole the show and he's easily the best villain in Precure in my opinion. And they had the best solo movie and Ultra Cure Happy form is the best.
Doki Doki: I'm neutral to this series. I do feel Mana should've been given an arc on her selflessness and selfishness. Besides that I actually enjoyed the cast of Doki Doki but they're not my favorites. Though I do like their designs though I'm annoyed half of them get ponytails. And yes poor Regina got the spotlight robbed by Ace who was infuriating. But I realized that Ace wasn't a bad sixth ranger, she actually had flaws like being bossy and showed even if she represented the good she isn't pure. Still wished Regina should've been a cure. But their solo movie was fun to watch...too bad we had Squidward's clarient as the...bad guy.
Happiness Charge: The biggest wasted potential and my least favorite besides others. Lovely wasn't a good protagonist for me and Princess was the only character that I enjoyed. Also yeah I think the subtext between Blue and Mirage isn't the best. Besides that Seigi deserved better and the villains were forgettable especially Red, Blue's edgy brother. However lived their solo movie and Lovely's is the best design. Way better than her main final form in the finale, that design so bad.
Go Princes: The best series on their themes/motifs and easily the best animation in the series. Dys Dark was badaßß, the villain Dys Despair was the best. You go quee n slay at being the worst mother to Scarlet. And Scarlet was the best redemption. However I do miss her time as Twilight and their movies...yeah they're bad so bad. Also I do feel the series may be boring to watch since the story is the most good vs evil. So it's understandable it may not be engaing than Heartcatch or Hugtto.
Mahou Tsukai: Sigh....another series that wasted its theme like Suite. The precure cast was the most forgettable and Felice was the only I enjoyed. A better baby turned cure done right. Which is why am I the only one who despises baby mascots turned cures than villain turned cures? Also worst villains and final boss villain in all of Pretty Cure.
Kira kira: I wasn't a big fan of the series but I did enjoy the designs. They easily could've had them dressed as bakers but their designs are the best in the series. Too bad I disliked the villains and some of their goals were so ridiculous. Even Jack Horner's backstory made sense than fighting over sweets. But I do feel it tried some ideas like chase scenes and life of life. I'd say it's memorable than Mahou but I'd say it's average.
Hugtto: Probably my favorite and the last Precure season that was perfect. I did enjoyed the story of Cure Yell and the rest of the Cures I enjoyed. Too bad two cures overshadowed the group and I do wish their motif made sense because it was all over the place. Also George deserves more appreciation especially Cryasu. They're the most morally gray and tragic villains. If you could get pass the weird implications of George and Hana (cannot blame people because it's awkward), George is just a simple human being trying to rewind the past and reunite with his love. I think alongside Heartcatch, Go Princess these three probably were the best at their messages. Though admittedly I do feel weirded out by the pregnancy at the end.

Precure, KIRA KIRA☆PRECURE A LA MODE, and recently this Power of Hope ~Precure Full Bloom~ which is the adult version of precure. Anyways I am gonna sure watch Soaring Sky, Healin' Good, and Tropical-Rouge the whole way through in the future.

Futari wa: nothing except they said the word precure too much and how it doesn't even sound like a word
Max heart: shiny luminous doesn't fight physically
Splash star: michiru and kaoru should have been cures
Yes 5: nothing it's an amazing season
Go go: lore is super hard to understand and the outfits from the previous season were better
Fresh: angel Berry's wings look like mecha super slicers
Heartcatch: erika was annoying in my opinion(super overrated season)
Suite: muse should've been part of the team a little longer
Smile: not sure
Doki doki: cure ace appeared out of nowhere
Happiness charge: cure lovely is the sixth ranger and I really wanted cure tender's transformation sequence to be shown
Go princess: cure flora wears rubber heels+ these cures have the highest heels ever(I thought scarlet wore flats) and yui should've been a cure even though I understand why not
Mahou tsukai: cure felice should've had the other linkle stone transformations as well
Kira kira: the cures aren't even fighters...they are PATISSIERE'S and they say the word sweets way too much

My reason:
The way KiraKira’s season was handled, they showed the storylines so well and the plots were something I didn’t even expect which I love and how the characters get along even though their difference. Every episode had a meaning and made its way to a new plot in the series. Something I wish every season had. The character developments were amazing, and I love how Yukari mostly just opens up to one character. That’s why in my opinion that’s the most well written season.
