the go princess endings always get me emotionally. gopre was my first precure season and it's very special to me, and the endings have an impact on me (moreso than the opening, even) to the point where i might just start crying if i hear them all the way through. i watched gopre with my dad, who unfortunately is no longer with us, and he used to try (and fail) to sing the gopre endings to make me laugh. they're not my favorites musically (that honor goes to the first doki doki ending, i genuinely LOVE that song) but they are my favorites when it comes to how i feel about them

"oh hello my friend" animation being werid probably can be explained by how it's the only one (that i know of) to be animated in real time using a video game engine. i remember seeing the article being shared and being like okay that's funny. there was talks about struggling hard but i assume they needed to do that to seed the process along faster because of the pandemic.
Ahhh I see, I feel like the backgrounds and whatnot could've passed in a season or two before it (like YELL FOR YOU's bg isn't that extravagant) but after Link Ring it looks very bare
i feel like some of the newer endings are better than the older ones because i like how they decided to make 3d EDs instead of the cures in their normal state because the newer EDs pop out more with their 3D models, and they got better each season, yes they did they started with broken elbows and dorky dances but they did get better when sticking to the themes and motifs!but the best endings in my opinions are HUGtto’s 2nd ED, StarTwi’s 2nd ED, Gogo’s 1st ED, and Smile’s 2nd ED.
Yesssssss shubi dubi sweets is the biggest bop out of all the songs for me!!

Woohoo! Precure Endings are such bangers. My favorite is Oshiete Twinkle from Star Twinkle Precure but honestly, there are maaaaaaaany others that are up there!

It's so interesting to see this video, since we have almost completely opposite opinions haha! The yes 5 version of ganbalance de dance is definitely my favorite (probably because it was the first version of it that I watched, and I made a film project about it, so after listening to it so much it's definitely gone above in my rankings) same goes for Kibou Rainbow and Maho a la Domo, they're just so energetic and fun, and are for sure a different vibe to the average precure ending. Shubidubi Sweets Time and Beyond the Sky are my favorite endings, they're just so nostalgic, since they were 2 of the first endings I listened to, and just overall very much my vibe. Can't say the same about the GoPri and Hugtto first endings tho, they're my 2 least favorites and I just find them too chaotic for my taste. The second ones are for sure an improvement. I feel like this is an unpopular opinion but Mankai Smile is my favorite smile ending and I always scream the lyrics with them whenever i'm feeling down, it works like a charm 🤣. Tbh, I was never a huge fan of Hirogarism, like it's fine, but it wasn't anything special to me. I definitely prefered Kokoro Delicious. However, after hearing Dear Shine Sky, I can confidently say it's my favorite. From the key changes to the bright colors, everything about this song just screams precure, and the visuals remind me a lot of Shubidubi Sweets Time, so that's always a plus! Generally, I like precure endings more than their openings, and that definitely shows in the fact that I've listened to my precure ED playlist over 1,500 times (keep in mind I'm not usually a music person, but these are PEAK). My favorite song is definitely Shubidubi (with beyond the sky coming in second) and my favorite visuals are from Dreams are the Path to the Future (with Shubidubi coming in second).
Oh wow these are so opposite from mine 😂 I really love hearing what people's favorite things are about the songs I don't like though, it let's me hear it from another perspective! My mind is always changing though, I'm sure I'll have different thoughts on some of these songs in even a year's time
@@doreimani Agreed! My perspective is always changing too 😅. I used to absolutely hate the heartcatch endings, but now heartcatch paradise is one of my favorites haha!
The shubidubi and Hirogarism ones are my favorites! I listen to these whenever i feel down alongside Get Lucky from Daft Punk! ✨️😄🙌

Fun Fact: All PreCure All Stars CGI Endings (from New Stage 1 to The Maho Tsukai All Stars one (idr the name of that movie)) is used as one of the BGVs for my Platinum Karaoke T-40+ DVD Karaoke Player (Vol. 84-94 T/X/BMB Series and SD Series (Piano/Flute/Piano XL/KS-10 MINI/KS-100)), i have several song recordings using those BGVs

Fresh, heartcatch, suite, dokidoki, go princess, maho girls, healin good, and tropical rouge all have some of my favorite ending that have me LITERALLY ASCENDING
The Doki Doki endings both remind me of songs from the British group Girls Aloud! Especially from their later era, like the album The Promise. I think that's why I like the Doki Doki songs very much.
Thank you so much for making this video it was so fun!!! I totally agree with the Kira Kira endings. The second one changed my whole life and got me to start loving precure! Tropical rouge is very special to me because it was the first season I watched completely and I really connected to manatsu. Plus, cure summer is my favorite. The Doki doki ending was life changing too. I really appreciate you making this video it shows how far precure has come and the impact it makes on people!!! (I accidentally deleted my first comment but it gave me an opportunity to write a lot more anyways thank you again)

Oh my gosh this video is such a vibe!! I want to make my friends sit through every Precure ending now- Anyways the Tropical Rouge and Kira Kira endings just give me a feeling that none of the others do, but they're not necessarily all my favorites.
I got into Precure because of the second Star Twinkle ending, they crossed over with Kiramager (Super Sentai) at the end of one of the movies I think. I saw the clip on youtube and I loved their designs and the music so much that I had to check it out. :)

I love how the visuals of the two Star Twinkle endings are both "1980s retro" but completely different flavors of it. The look of the first ED is inspired by actual 80s anime, particularly Urusei Yatsura. The second ED, on the other hand, is pure "Outrun aesthetic", aka "the 80s as imagined by people who weren't born yet in the 80s".
DokiDoki was my first season and I’m very emotionally attached to both endings oh my GOODNESS they are timeless! Both of the Hugtto Endings have me in a chokehold however I love when the characters sing songs lol.
I was listening to this video while i was trying to sleep. But im also one of those people who are weirdly emotional with music. This video showed me how strong my feelings to many of those endings are. So many endings squeezed a tear out of me.

Oh I didn't know that about both of the StaPre endings being in minor keys! To me, PaPePiPu would win out because GOD it just slaps SO hard and I've even gotten my husband into it lol. We have both done the little star drawing in the air thing at the end of the song 😂 But Oshiete! is still really great and I do love the visuals.
Heartcatch and Suite set up a weird expectation for me that at least one Precure ED going forward would be Funky...imagine the disappointment.

Ive learned every 3D precure ending dance up to the first delicious party ed (which is like one of my absolute fave eds ever) so this video is exactly my jam hehe ^_^ ive always wanted to do my own ranking of the eds, including how fun the coreographies are bc like..... there are some dances where im like so underwhelmed -_- and there are some where im like LETS GOO while im dancing to it lololol (like the second kira kira ed ITS SO GOOD!!!)

Is the first Precure ending song I've heard, not by watching the serie but bc my japanese friend (who introduced me and my friends to the Precure franchise after the Glitter Force serie came on Netflix) showed me the All Stars New Stage ending. I discovered that there were other cures and Smile Precure are my fav sooo. It has a BIG place in my heart

The English dub version of Smile Precure endings are better but I understand why people like the subbed and Doki Loki is awesome!
Although I personally prefer the japanese versions, I do think the blush songs were huge bops! Too bad the animation didn't do them justice.
Queen, you killed me by putting the Mahou ED 2 on the bottom tier but I must cope, also, have you thought about doing the same thing for Sailor Moon? It has less songs than Precure.
edit: Glad you liked the second ending of TropiRo, i literally started crying when the guitar riff came on during the last episode, such a memorable ending song.

I may be biased because Smile was the first precure I loved but those endings go hard for me. The individual cure intros on yay yay yay were always a treat. But I agree that Precure's music game has really stepped up over the last decade or so.
So many great character songs too, not just OP/ED!
I'm actually surprised by how many of these I disagreed with ngl lie, some in my opinion were placed too high while some were placed too low. But hey that's opinions and I respect yours, nice list~
You know, with Mahoutsukai's endings I think there's another point besides just the song quality that makes the first ending better than the second.
So like, both endings are performed by the actual voice actors from the show. Takahashi Rie, Horie Yui, and then Hayami Saori too for the second. That's cool and all... but there are parts of the second where you hear one voice... and see *someone else* singing. Now this is usually whatever since the songs are typically performed by entirely different actors, but if Cure Magical's voice actor is literally doing a solo bit then I should not be seeing Cure Miracle singing on screen, dang it!

@@doreimani Dont be, Queen. I actually LOATHED it at first, I legit thought it was the worst piece of music ever. But for some reason I kept listening to it and I love it to death now. I dont know if you will ever change your mind since even I admit its not for everyone but I wanted to share my experience.
My favorites are beyond the sky (I love it so much oh my gosh, I have like an attachment to it), and Sweets time! I tend to love the all stars songs sm

I never would’ve expected anyone to rank Ganbalance de Dance that low or to choose the GoGo! version over the vanilla Yes! version. Personally I think the GoGo! version is the weakest of the three. There are a few other things I disagree with but that’s probably the biggest.
Still, this was definitely a fun video to watch.

I think the only opinion I truly have a gripe with is the Tomorrow Song not winning but also I completely and totally get why you picked Heartcatch Paradise. Valid of you, however Tomorrow Song was the first song I memorized the lyrics to so I'm sorry it was just too catchy.
Also, if you listen to the Full Version of Dreams Are The Path To The Future, there's actually 5 vocal versions, with the 5th verse for the overall team where they say "Purikya" instead of a Cure's name.
Also Shu Bi Do Bi Sweets Time did have no reason to go so hard, truly.
And what did Hirogarizumu so good was at the beginning where it does that twinkly bit and then goes SO HARD with the bass.

I feel like Delicious Happy Days tried to do what Shubidubi Sweets Time did as a callback to the other food themed season with the little chanting part of "Whip, Gelato, Custard, Macaron, Chocolat, and Parfait" but with the "Harapeko zen'in atsumare,
Kiai no reshipi ni goaisatsu, Te to te awasete sutanbattara" bit and it just..didn't work for me. It's cute but it and Delicious Heart didn't hit for me.
