I began collecting magical girl merch in 2021, so I don’t feel as experienced as some of the collectors I’ve seen haha. But because there’s always a chance of someone being new to it, I thought a full video might be helpful :)

I loved hamtaro too, they were some bad little rodents lmao. But this video came at a perfect time I’ve been wanting to get more otome and maybe atelier merch and really didn’t know where to start other than FB marketplace, mercari, and depop so thank you! Your vids are great and I see you’re watching utena, I started it but never finished so now I’m a little more motivated to pick it back up.
Depop and FB marketplace are good stops too sometimes! I found one of my holy grails on depop randomly one day lmao every so often there's a good find!

Personally I have used eBay so many times for my magical girl items. (Most of the items I have gotten are from eBay.) Yes they are pretty expensive, but they usually have great service. Also from what I know, some people list the items they’re selling on multiple different websites. (I had an item on eBay I wanted to buy that I couldn’t buy because someone else bought it on a different website.) But yeah I definitely understand using a proxies service if you don’t want to pay the expensive prices on eBay or other websites like that.
It's understandable when it's the same seller, but it gets tricky when the price is doubled and tripled on there, so I generally stay away. I'm glad to hear it's not all bad!

Girl, you must know that whenever I try to buy something there is a 50/50 chance that something goes wrong, no matter what it is, or on what website it is. I think it's somw kind of curse. But I will try to use that dam proxy service and if it works for me, just know that it's gona be your fault if I die burried under magical girl items. (I'm jocking, I'm jocking ofcourse 😂)

If there are two listings, one on Mercari JP and one on eBay with the same pictures but different seller names and one is half the price of the other, how do you know which one is legit and which one is a scam? Is it possible that it’s the same seller but with a different name?
