I am a mom of 7 and I'm always busy and on the go, so these ideas are great. Thank you and I look forward to you next video full of help hints and packed with great time saving ideas :)
Hello. That veggie quesadilla is great for someone who don't have time to eat in a restaurant or go home to prepare food for lunch like me. Hope you could make some very SIMPLE AND EASY sandwich/quesadilla recipe so that I can make and bring it to office for lunch. Less ingredients without compromising the taste the better. Thank you
These are great ideas. We are so burned out on sandwiches for lunch at home or frozen burritos for our school lunch. I'm doing the veggies and chicken or turkey wraps this week! Yes, please share more ideas like this. Bravo!
Life saver. Eating clean it so important but very hard for 3rd shift workers. You have compiled so many dishes that now I can step up and finally prep food to make my partners life and mine easier and healthier
I like that you used the paper cupcake holder to put your hummus in. I'm always rummaging around to find the lid for my containers. That is way easier and faster clean up.
Thank you soooo much Dani for creating these meal prep videos. I'm trying to create a healthier lifestyle habit by eating out much less or even stop eating out. And also, thank you for keeping this simple and real for a busy couple/family.
Love Love Love the ideas!!! Your so creative when it comes to clean eating. Keep'em coming ~ especially the vege ideas!! btw: The bloopers are ALWAYS a treat. Keep those coming too!
Bought two copies of your new cookbook, Eat Clean and Get Well today as gifts . I've gotten so many excellent free recipes and advice from you for so long, I wanted to thank you back. They will be great gifts for my twins, who I taught to cook!
I love that ur kitchen isn't full of fancy and pricey objects. I actually own the vegetti and the steamer! that's so cool. I don't feel like I have to go out and buy a bunch of stuff that I probably won't use just to keep up with ur channel.
Yummm I just made this right now over a bed of spaghetti squash. I did add a tablespoon of garlic powder, 1/2 tablespoon of onion powder, red pepper flakes to kick it up in flavor. Delish. I don’t feel guilty because it’s less carbs. Thanks for posting!
Love all your ideas! I wish I could do all these when I go back to work and my kids are bigger.. I've always felt that kids' packed lunch is the bane of my existence!!
Ok...NEWFOUND FAVE PAGE!!! I just had bariatric surgery 5 days ago. I am going to need some great tricks and ideas. I'm so impressed with your carrots and green beans wrapped in the lunchmeat idea! Ahhhhhhh, where have you been all my life!! Thank you! These ideas are amazing. I love the little ground Turkey muffins, too. Sounds delicious.
I love what you said about the microwave! sometimes it's just the only way at a moment and as long as they're not deep fried veggies are veggies and better than nothing.
My gosh thank you so much Especially love the microwaved veggies and turkey veggie wraps! Though tbh i found this video a little bit messy. It'd be cool if you could, say, have a video all on prepping veggies, or protein packed focused meals, or freezing ideas? Idk. Just a suggesting outta the top of my head Just found the channel a couple of weeks ago. Love your content!
Daniel, I would love to hear more of your ideas about using fresh veggies throughout the day/week. I'd really like to get my family eating more of them. Great ideas. Thanks.
Yes please, I would love more fresh cut veggies ideas! I want to try your prep method for veggies SO bad, but I'm afraid they'll go bad by the end of the week because I'm bad about finishing leftovers! I am also the only one in the house that enjoys eating healthily. Every time I try to meal prep, not all of the meals get eaten. I start out with the best intentions... But I get sick of things really fast and I'm not the type of person who can eat the same things everyday. I try to always make leftover food look as pretty as possible so I will want to eat it Lol. But I love love LOVE the idea!
Loved your ideas and tips on what to do with crudite. They are not only brilliant, imaginative, but they are a great way to plan and manage time. A scarce commodity these days. I especially like what you showed in a former video about rolling the herbs up into tiny little rolls before you chop them up. This really spreads the finely chopped herbs to make a dish more flavorful. I look forward to having more crudite recipes and some more tips on zoodles. Thank you very much Fredrick
We do mini smoothie jars for my boys so they can make one when they want a snack(they are tweens and a teen). We use a regular jelly jar sized mason jar, put in 1/3 of a banana, some chia seeds, powdered peanut butter, whatever frozen fruits/greens, and freeze them that way. Then they can just take out a jar, thaw it out a bit, and then put the contents in the Ninja with some almond milk.
Hi Dani! I'm a mom that runs around a lot all day. and you just made my life more easier with these great meal prep ideas. I would love if you can do more videos like these please.
Great tips and tricks. And you certainly make things clean and delicious. I love making cooked soups ( mostly vegetarian) and blending them and then adding some fresh chopped veggies for crunch and too add raw good in. Sometimes I add fruit too as a finish like pomegranates or chopped Apple. It goes a long way. Can add a scoop of a grain too at the end. Grain prepared in advance and stored in fridge works well. I also started making a couple of baked potatoes at once ( I cook for just me) and then eating them over several days in various ways. Can dice them, put them in salads or soups or tortillas or just eat whole with toppings of choice. Add to eggs etc. Those are my thoughts for now. Cheers everyone!!!
OMG I've only been watching your channel for 2 days now and I'm in love with it cuz I am trying to incorporate a clean eating lifestyle for my family so the new Journey for me but adoring all of your wonderful ideas thanks so much for your help
How I wish I found your channel before the holidays! I already have 4 of your videos to watch for a later time! I am recently doing an elimination diet and your videos are helping me to survive. Thank you so much!
Thankyou so much!!!!! I am in my first year of university and living alone and with such a busy schedule I really struggle to find vegetarian, quick but healthy meals!! I would love more of these
Thank you, Dani, we’re a couple in our 70s trying to eat better and with easy prep! Love these veggie ideas - especially the single serve guacamole & hummus!!!! I never thought of those and getting them today. Also liked the steamed veggie ideas (gotta find that steamer 😍😍😍) AND will definitely make those Turkey cups (may use lean beef, but might try Turkey). Definitely using the tips veggie wrap & quesadilla for hubby’s lunch & snacks! LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!!! 👏👏👏♥️👍😍
your channel presents an overall excellent and practical way to eat more healthy ... anyone who might do these things will be way better off than if they were eating a SAD diet ... however, and this should be considered constructive criticism, those store made rottissserrrie chicks are loaded with bad salt and should not be considered clean.... and eggs should be free range organic to really be considered clean and beneficial as well - as opposed to cage free organic... but certainly for people who are not already out of balance and suffering from adverse health conditions ... eating those should not pose too much risk if eaten in small amounts and if there is ample and high proportionately more produce in the diet.. the body has a hard time digesting more than 6 ounces of meat and dairy at one meal and having it at every meal is taxing on the digestive system especially the meat... also those rotisserie chicks should absolutely NOT be eaten by people with plack clogged arteries... I hope you look into these topics a little more deeply and come to the same conclusions as I have... and one more thing, one of the many reasons why free range organic eggs are better, is that they contain k2 which is supposed to be instrumental in directing calcium where it needs to go - teeth and bones - rather than arteries and kidneys - k2 comes from Gouda cheese, brie cheese and meat and dairy from animals eating grass and natural diets and fermented soy - called natto - but apparently u can get other verges fermented w the same process as natto to get all the benefits of fermented foods and the k2... please don't take this as negative criticism as you are showing people realistic and practical ways to eat better... especially the pre made salad tip... we really need convenience, bottom line
just fyi she does buy organic chicken and eggs, also free range means they arent held in cages but they still don't have access to outdoors. if it says pasture raised then that means they're outdoors. cage free means sh#t excuse my language.
+picframe000 I will look for pasture raised eggs in the future, thanks for the heads up... mostly trying to bring attention to the rotisserie chickens, even if organic, they are not healthy... it's a pet peeve of mine that I wish more people were aware of... they do a good job of keeping people on statins... and I do think this channel offers a good array of recipes and examples of ways to eat much more sensibly... but, people simply need to know about that rotisserie chicken issue
I made them yesterday , they saved m e twice today, at work with my pumpkin soup , I ate it as my protein and as a snack late in the evening while I was at my second job.
Money saving idea on the smoothie prep. Try using pint canning jars like you served the smoothie in. Start with the greens as you can flatten those a lot. Thanks for the great ideas... I really appreciate your time!
I love them however I would recommend to AVOID PLASTIC to store and specially to heat food as it produces BPAs that cause hormone imbalances and cellular malfunction!!!
I only cook for myself most of the time. Convenience is still key for getting breakfast and lunches ready for the day. I need a breakfast that's portable and can eat on the train I take to work. I like to pack my own lunch since the only nearby options within walking distance are Subway and Wendy's. It's also nice to have quick dinners since I usually get my workout done after work and don't get to eat until I get home. I can always use easy, healthy meal ideas.
Great ideas. I'm so glad to have found your channel. You need an Instant Pot. You can steam your vegies in just a minute or two and it seals in all the fresh goodness with pressure. No microwave needed. :)
Newer to your channel..and enjoying all the great tips!! I have a tip for YOU..I like to use my Instant Pot to steam veggies. I use a steam basket for frozen and/or fresh veggies. I set Instant Pot to low pressure, use about 3/4=1 cup of water. Set it on Manual for 0 minutes and then quick release as soon as it starts to count back up and open the lid- quick, Freshly steamed veggies in no time. I store in the fridge and pull from them throughout my meals.
Thank you very much for this video, it gave me great new ideas and tips for my weekend prep... And yes keep more coming, we appreciate ur videos so much in this household!
I so want to be able to prepare myself for week like this. I'm a nursing major in college and it's a long standing joke that nursing students often eat the unhealthiest because we have so much else going on! That being said, I'd love to be more intentional with how I eat this semester. I'm definitely going to try some of these ideas! Subbed!
Really great video on clean eating. I do not agree putting plastic container in the microwave though. I do have a glass pan(glass lid) that I can use for steaming my veggies instead. I also love your idea of quesadilla of veggies !! brilliant. I am introducing clean eating to my family soon so I needed this video. Thank you for your input.
please do more! loads of other RUclipsrs are so unrealistic, but this video was so precise, do the point and simple! thanks for the recipes will be 100% trying some :-)
Honestly this is first video series I'm actually excited about. you make it look easy but realistic as well. and knowledgeable too! thank u for great ideas
Woohooo!! Awesome ideas once again ~ Dani Spies is the only cooking channel I'm subscribed too, so please keep those videos and ideas coming. You're the best! ^ ^
please show more of the crudites. I have fibro and tend not to eat if food is not simple or ready made. Thank you. You have helped my journey towards getting this fibromyalgia under control or at the very least live a full life inspire of it.
This was soon helpful. I am just starting with trying to get me and my family eating cleaner. I see other people doing meal prep on the weekends and it always seems like an all day individually packed process. I like that you get prep done to make the weekends easier but keep it simple. I would love more ideas on what to do with those prepared veggies :) Thanks!!!
Hey Dani...I love these kinds of videos because I am constantly on the go ( I have my own cleaning business and clean several houses per day!!) and I got tired of grabbing fast food so I started taking my own lunch but I def run out of ideas. These are great. I do prepare my crudite on the weekends and take a quart size bag of veggies to eat during the day. I make my own hummus and guac, but I am going to have to try those turkey wraps and turkey muffins! Thanks for a great channel!!
+Michelle Mitchell I understand the constant on the go Michelle! Thats why its important to me to find ways to make eating clean fit into my lifestyle. So glad you are enjoying the channel.
interesting videos that teach us to continue to make healthy and clean lives both from the food we consume even from the homes we live in, healthy is expensive let us process health by eating healthy food and protecting the environment to avoid illness
I actually Love ur microwave recipes! I'm a mother of Four, house of SiX! & we are Crazy Busy Mon-Sat so anywhere I can cut some time I'm All About it😉 Microwave is better then fastfood
i would love to see an in depth video on the vegetable prep! we buy lots in bulk & they end up going bad because they've been shoved to the back & forgot about or not enough time to prep them before we eat!
Hi Dani, thank you for these healthy options. I struggle with snacks and good ideas for lunches for my older children--middle school and high school. Please send some more ideas for how to incorporate these healthy snacks. I really like your ideas and almost everything I have tried from your website has been a hit with my family. :)
More ideas! Please didn't think about packing for morning smoothies hate to take everything out everyday nice idea thanks.. Would love easy ideas I'm always on the run.. If they can last a week even better! Thank u
Wow, I love all these ideas. I'm good at organising things but not that good with food preparation for the wk in the fridge. Will certainly help my weight, right food all the time, no excuses! Excellent and thanks jx
Finally someone who preps meals in a calm and pleasent video and not hectic and annoying. Keep up the good work:)
I am a mom of 7 and I'm always busy and on the go, so these ideas are great. Thank you and I look forward to you next video full of help hints and packed with great time saving ideas :)

+aTimeAsThis Ok! So glad you enjoyed it... thanks for the feedback.
Life saver. Eating clean it so important but very hard for 3rd shift workers. You have compiled so many dishes that now I can step up and finally prep food to make my partners life and mine easier and healthier
Hands down the most practical meal prep I've ever seen! Can someone fill me in on the brand of the steamer basket?
I like that you used the paper cupcake holder to put your hummus in. I'm always rummaging around to find the lid for my containers. That is way easier and faster clean up.
Great! I especially like the individual veggie portions with the hummus/avocado dip. Perfect for on the go! 😊
Thank you soooo much Dani for creating these meal prep videos. I'm trying to create a healthier lifestyle habit by eating out much less or even stop eating out. And also, thank you for keeping this simple and real for a busy couple/family.

+yocampout I don't like a ton of any kitchen tools (although there are a few I like!) ad most of my meals are extremely simple - but always delicious!
Yummm I just made this right now over a bed of spaghetti squash. I did add a tablespoon of garlic powder, 1/2 tablespoon of onion powder, red pepper flakes to kick it up in flavor. Delish. I don’t feel guilty because it’s less carbs. Thanks for posting!

interesting videos that teach us to continue to make healthy and clean lives both from the food we consume even from the homes we live in, healthy is expensive let us process health by eating healthy food and protecting the environment to avoid illness
I actually Love ur microwave recipes! I'm a mother of Four, house of SiX! & we are Crazy Busy Mon-Sat so anywhere I can cut some time I'm All About it😉 Microwave is better then fastfood
I'm with you! Some time health is all about the give and take.
i would love to see an in depth video on the vegetable prep! we buy lots in bulk & they end up going bad because they've been shoved to the back & forgot about or not enough time to prep them before we eat!
+Michelle Sambrano Here is a video I shared a while back on veggie prep: ruclips.net/video/Zv6My9WlaB0/видео.html

Hi Dani, thank you for these healthy options. I struggle with snacks and good ideas for lunches for my older children--middle school and high school. Please send some more ideas for how to incorporate these healthy snacks. I really like your ideas and almost everything I have tried from your website has been a hit with my family. :)
