Oh I loved this. You two are so delightful to watch. I love Montmartre, especially the stunning areas around metro Abbesse and metro Lamarck-Caulaincourt, where the neighborhood really takes on a very local character. I would love to learn more about the artist and literary history of 20th century Paris around the neighborhood of Montparnasse, especially the Americans of the Lost Generation that settled there, think Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Gertrude Stein. Why Montparnasse? What was the attraction? I’ve tried my own research, even Chat GPT, but nothing seems to explain it. I’d love your take on it, or perhaps a resource you can point me to. I love the Montparnasse neighborhood so much and would love to learn more!
Lucky for me, I visited many times over the years. My last visit was Feb 2013, I stayed in a hostel there walked around without any issues. I always tried to blend in like locals, not looking like a tourist. It's still my favorite part of Paris.
More culture programmes like this, please! ❤❤❤😊😊😊😊

be careful in this neighborhood. I myself was mugged on a Sunday morning as I approached the entrance to Sacre Coeur.
Ouch. That's terrible. When i travel, I always get up early for sunrise pictures. Hope you didn't lose too much in valuables.
