Mr Fleming Sir, your documentaries are amongst the very best on RUclips. Stunning imagery, interesting observations, beautiful and tranquil pacing and a complete lack of irritating music, slavish product pitches or cries for financial assistance. Thank you so much for offering a wider audience who most likely crave but will never undertake similar adventures, an opportunity to dream. And I can listen to your dulcet voice for hours...
Thanks again Tony. Great narration as always, and even better with your ideal voice for the job. I do believe you missed your natural calling. I always look forward to your next voyage.
I am a commercial fisherman based out of Sitka (you can actually catch a glimpse of my boat in your harbor footage), and spend much time in these waters in pursuit of king and coho salmon. It was quite something to see such great imagery and listen to "Attenborough-esque" commentary about little nooks and crannies along the coast I am very familiar with (I have also seen several bears and deer feeding in close proximity in Black Bay). I truly enjoyed this video, and plan to watch the entire series now - and share it with my family who cannot be here to see this all. Thank you so much for your efforts. Chris Hanson FV Diamond Lil
Many thanks for your comment. Sitka is our favourite town in SE Alaska and we have great respect for commercial fishermen and their boats who ply their trade in the serious waters come rain or shine off the west coat of Baranof and Chichagof islands.
Your videos are a gift for those of us who wish we could have a Fleming and cruise the Pacific Northwest, Western Canada and Southwest Alaska. Thank you.
So calm and relaxing , I love every one of your videos, I am already looking forward to the next one. Please keep on cruising and documenting as you go.
My wife and I just sat down to watch your latest video and we want to thank you for bringing us along on your ad"venture". The scenery is truly breathtaking in majestic beauty.
Thank you all so much for taking us with you. Your films are a joy. My daughter now lives in Victoria. I am so looking forward to seeing this. Happy Christmas. Regards William and Susan.
Chris and Christine are do comfortable on your boat and know exactly what to do. I guess you have all been traveling together so long everything flows like music and it shows. Pure bliss.
Thank you Sir for bringing us these magnificent videos. Once again your calm voice and the footage compliment each other and I sit in awe and watch. Please keep up the brilliant exploration of these isolated nature scenes. I think I can speak for all watching that it's a pleasure to explore with you
The introduction of drone photography recently has really changed the way we look at, and percieve the world we live in. I thank you for all your videos, commentary and lovely accompaning music.
I dare say the boat anchored next to you in sitka couldn't get to some of those spots the Fleming made it to. I'll repeat what others have already stated that your videography is indeed splendid. Always a joy to watch. Happy Holidays to you and yours. Thank you again.
Your videos are better than reality. I get to see fantastic scenery accompanied by nice music and I don't need to listen to engine noise or worry about running aground. How great it is. Still, I would like to do the trips myself.. Someday.
Tony thank you. I thought I had lost you for a minute. I am glad I found u again. Although I am a Nordhavn fan, you have brought me around to the Flemming.
If it was not for you films, I would never got the experience to see north of Ketchikan. That is as far a we were able to go on a friends cruiser, due to my time restraints. I flew back to the East Coast, as my parents continued the trip north with their friends the boat owners. As things often go in life, I was sure I’d be back to finish the trip one coming Summer. Life happens, illness and tragedy happen. I never made it back. So many many thanks for this gift in my dotage, it is appreciated! To have experiences like this and not smile or enjoy them, is so sad.
Another piece of art created by you. Absolutely astonishing images and they make us want to go there as well. Unfortunately we are in Europe, will never get the chance to see what you saw, so we thank you for taking us along on your journey.
those dead trees are pine (pine beetle) spruce (Sitka) and true fir Abies species. Yellow cedar is quite rare, and quite unique. Cedar of all types can actually repair itself over years from fire, insect, or environment damage.
Wonderful presentation of the sailing trip around many islands. It is so soothing and it reduce daily stress we have in everyday life of ordinary people. Thank you. Everything is so nice. Please reduce color-brightness. Video seemed too red. Anyway - we thank you for good videos.
Your sailing videos are amazing and inspiring. It give me emotional comfort and relief from stress and strain we have every day life. Thank you. I want to sail on a wonderful voyage like you did. By the way - your recent videos have too much red color. It does not look natural. Please reduce "Hue" & "Saturation" feature in your video editor software when editing video. Anyway - we love your sailing videos. Thank you. We feel good when watching your beautiful sailing journey videos.
Hey Tony, I was wondering something have you considered ever taking venture on the Great Lakes all five lakes I think that would be a fascinating trip. What do you think?
One theory suggests Chirikov's men were lost at 58 N, which would put them at the broad opening of Surge Bay. In a big westerly swell breakers can roll across the entire entrance... I suspect it was farther south though, at 57N 50', the entrance to Lisianski Strait. The ebb is usually more treacherous than the flood. It would be good to have meteorologica data for those dates. What was the tide doing? Was there a westerly swell? Bigger vessels than the St. Paul's longboats have foundered at Surge Bay as well as the entrance to the Straits. I suppose we will never know.
I had not heard of Surge Bay being a possible alternative but, coincidentally, I received a mail from someone suggesting the same thing. I have never visited Surge Bay but just looked it up on the chart. It is certainly very exposed and does not appear a likely spot to go ashore - but it may look different in reality. As you say, I doubt we will ever know for sure - or the prevailing conditions.
Wtf! How is this video 2 weeks old and this is the first time it showed up 😡 😤. I never miss Tony’s videos. There’s a Fleming in my future and I just can’t wait. Tony I’ll need a HD 360 camera on the mast somehow with a HD camera package with your best zoom capabilities. I’ve never met you but you’ve had a profound impact on my life. Hoping I get to meet you somewhere someday. Till then keep cruising sir.
I cannot explain why Reflections Five has only just shown up for you. It has been on line for over two weeks. Reflections Six was posted four days ago. I have to tell you that most of the recent footage was shot on an iPhone 14!
It was purchased from Pond5.com. Their reference number is: 202118595 and titled: "Soundscape#5-Icy Peaks-Ambient Violin Solo". Pond5 and similar companies sell stock music with copyright licence for video creators such as myself.

Do you fish on a troller or a seiner?
@@PatrickThreewit We don't fish. We are happy to enjoy fish caught by others!
With the beautiful scenery, fantastic yacht, unmatched commentary how can you possibly have only 85k subscriptions
Your videos are right up there with my favorite desert and a fine cup of coffee.
In a word, stunning! Thank you!
Beautiful videos! I love em!

wow very interesting content friend
Curious, does anyone know what happened to the 2 longboats that mysteriously disappeared ? Good story.
Tony, Hollywood couldn’t produce better videos.
Hollywood produces junk. This is pure beauty; true art! Thank you for your generous gift of sharing.
Thank you.
Very educational,👍🙏🙏🙏
thank you
Absolutely the best nautical video on RUclips.
Hey Tony, I was wondering something have you considered ever taking venture on the Great Lakes all five lakes I think that would be a fascinating trip. What do you think?
Tony sounds like Sir Richard Attenborough.

As always... great video!! Quick question, though. What type of unseen hazards would Chris and Christine be looking for? (minute 2 or so of the video)
Basically just rocks beneath the surface we might encounter if the wind or tide should swing us around.
Are you able to add rocks you have found to the moving maps?
So far as I am aware, new hazards can only be advised to NOAA. The rock mentioned in this video is on the chart but carries no physical marker
I’m at peace on the water with you.

8,000 years ago H. Gwai was grassland, and connected to the mainland. Grizzly bear country. Now it's black bear (and Spirit bear) country.
A peaceful escape much appreciated by many 17:00
Amazing
Do you ever have bear encounters at night while anchored?
Never have.
what is this peice of music at the start please?

👏
Nice
I just want 1 Fleming.
LiVn or Dead Full AheaD.ITs All In UR HeaD😂🎉❤

Not even a glimpse of Pelican. A real shame. .
The bear is not a Grizzly. It is an Alaskan brown bear. On the islands of SE Alaska.
There are several other videos posted on the same site which cover Pelican in detail. I cannot keep posting the same material on every video.
Very cool video.
Man, I wish I had the money that would allow me adventures like this.
Find a family troller and work for free. Trolling boats go into lots of nooks and crannies that the big boys don't go into.
Another triumph in video making. Thankyou. ATB regards from the UK
