Great video! Im looking into getting an X4. Was curious what microSD you use or recommend. As I was reading about it theres some people that claim that the Sandisk A2 V30 256 Extreme and Extreme Pro gives a card error with the X4. Others claim Samsung Pro Plus is better with no issues or even the Lexar Professional 1066x. Im so confused. Hoping for youre input on which to get. Thank you in advance
Great review of the x4. I have the x3 and my main complaint with it is when you reframe, the 4k resolution is reduced to 1080p. With the x4 what resolution are you getting when you reframe? 4k or something less?
Thanks for your video. I have the one x2 and I think it’s time for an upgrade.😊 But one question: What’s the thing about the free frame mode with an 360 camera? I mean, it’s recording 360 degrees anyways, so I can chose every frame I like? I don’t get the free frame mode in this case. 😢
I watched a lot of other RUclipsr's X4 footages and they all look super muddy although their videos are with 8K. Only yours looks sharper... I wonder what you did to make your X4 footage sharper than others.
I use my experience and my cheat sheets👌 Most early reviews/showcases are from people that use this 1 or 2 times.. i use it almost everyday and did the same with the x3. So the knowledge of pros and cons sits higher with someone actually using it over someone justs saying they use it a lot 😎😏
@@robinhannevig Ah I see. It means X4 can actually produce sharp videos by some ways. It gives me some hope that one day I can also make sharp videos as yours. Thank you for reply.
@@robinhannevig do you need any third party stuff to achieve this level of sharpness and low noise? or just the x4 camera + insta360 software + experience is suffice?
No, but any camera needs some post production in order to look its best, so basic adjustments here and there. For this i added a bit of sharpness on the clips not being comparison and left the comparison straight out of camera. This with the sharpness set to low in-camera. But i will have my recommended settings video coming soon tho 😊

X3 is 2K, x4 is closer to 3k

Higher quality than the 360 final export from edge to edge and the difference aspects from the same shot video. For me, this is a huge one 🙌
