I’ll stick with Action 3 (on bars) , Action 4 (on chin mount) and 360 X2 (almost anywhere) for moto vlogging but the 3S is very useable and will always be in my bag though wish I could connect a wireless mic.

Did you communicate that to DJI, they’ll be able to check if it was an error from the device and replace it for free.

Have you shot any footage under water with the X4? Curious if it works there.

So on my ace pro I just use a usbc cable to the ace pro into my usbc port on laptop. I never need to remove the card from the ace pro. Can’t the 360 go s do the same?

It's good that you mention the automatic deletion, because for me personally the thing is useless until you have the option to deactivate this behavior. For me, there are two scenarios in which I would use the Quick Reader: 1: The internal storage space in the Go 3 is sufficient for me, but I would like to be able to save the material to an external SD card in between an important shoot. This way I would have the material both in the camera and on the SD card. 2: I am on a longer trip where the internal storage space is not sufficient. I would want to back up the footage to two different SD cards before deleting it from the camera. If Insta360 delivers an update for this, I would seriously consider spending the money on it. The ability to use it as a handy card reader for micro SD cards from other cameras would be a nice bonus, even if the transfer speed is unfortunately only supposed to be at USB 2 level.

Should have been built into the action pod itself. Should also be able to hook up the action pod to an iPhone 15 directly with USB C and import footage into app. They just want to sell more accessories.

Are they any issues you experience with the x4? Overheating or crashes for example?

For Action use the X4 and Action 4, for general use the Pocket 3 is so good with the mechanical gimble and image quality.

Would be interesting to see where you store and access all the content you shoot from the different cameras. iCloud, OneDrive, external drives?

The X4 would be the last camera I would get out of all those. Mainly because it’s a pain in the neck to edit. I would start out with the OP3 creative combo, then add the Action 4 and learn how to switch the wireless mic between both cameras. It’s pretty easy. I already had the Air 2S drone, but if I didn’t, I would get the one you recommended. I’m not a pro travel blogger, so I don’t like to spend too much time filming when my wife is with me. I just enjoy the vacation, or just use the OP3. I don’t need to film everything. Now if I’m by myself, I bring as much stuff as I can carry.

Nice video. My current setup is the GP12 which surprisingly is better and more stable than my older gopro cams over the years, and the DJI Air 3 because I adore that zoom feature. I typically use it to chase thunderstorms and it handles high winds and sudden bursts of rain pretty fantastic. My bag is a Shimoda Explore V2 30L and the Air 3 fits in the top pocket of it! That pocket 3 is so tempting to purchase I've seen so many good results with it....

The DJI Pocket 3 (creator bundle) has been my favorite go to travel camera for several months now! I want to upgrade my GoPro 11 though and am considering the 360 x4 (especially for roller coaster POVs) seems cool! Do you have to use their app to configure the 360 footage?

My choices are Pocket 3, Action 4 and or GoPro 12 and the Mini 4 pro and or Air 3s. Your set. The next generation Ace Pro will probably be amazing also. It is so close but their next version should be killer. Has some neat features, flip up screen, pause recording, 4k 2x zoom etc. The next gen Ace Pro will certainly very much compete with DJI and GoPro.

My current cameras I use for travel include the DJI Osmo Pocket 3 because it is an awesome and easy to use video camera for vlogging. Next, I am beginning to like my Insta360 X4 but editing the video and incorporating it into a vlogging video is a bit of a learning curve for me. However, the I like getting B-role from the Insta360 X4. Third, I carry a Canon R6 Mark II with a RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 zoom lens mainly for photography but I sometimes use the video features for certain shots. The microphones are surprisingly good but the audio would need tweaking in post. Fourth, despite my growing fondness for the Insta360 X4, I still carry a GoPro Hero Black 12 (I recently purchased it to replace the Hero Black 10 at the recent GoPro Mountain Games in Vail, Colorado) for shots an Insta360 X4 would not work. This is what I will be carrying with me on an upcoming trip to Southern California.

DJI Air 3 can be a better choice for drone as it is more stable in windy condition and in high altitude and the dual camera. Also a DJI action 4 for underwater diving footages with dive light setup. And the 3m selfie stick for arial footages where drone is not allowed or not possible to fly. Thats it. :D

China/Asians will always Intellectually destroy any westerners, that's just fact. In terms of how hard working and how talented they are and not lazy. With that said - this is why all gopros were always a horrible overadvertised junk. I just waited patiently until DJI offers something with the larger sensor and here we go! Another amazing product from DJI - take my money.

I don't know why but videos out of my X3 sucks. Especially single lens mode are worst than my phone videos. How do you obtain so much details and colors? Do you use single lens mode in your videos?

agree with your findings; I bought one for myself and it's currently the top-tier 360 camera on the consumer market; I was disappointed when the GoPro Hero Max Version 2 was not released last fall as anticipated. I edit my footage on Final Cut Pro X. The camera's versatility is like having your own camera man - just press record and everything is captured; I haven't used the gesture/voice control, bullet time - too gimmicky for my own tastes. One drawback is that the image is best viewed on laptop screens and smaller - did not look good on big screens.

At about 3:15-3:24, what is that dark area in the sky. I saw this the first sunny day I used the camera. Ive tried to replicate it on a regular basis, but I can't figure out what it is. My OneX2, X3, and one RS 1" didnt do this. Ive asked insta360 about it. They assure me that their engineers are looking into it...3 weeks ago. It doesnt happen often, but Im afraid it will ruin some shots

I’m a bit confused. Why does it need a card if it’s got internal memory? Ive ordered the 128gb rather than 64gb for that very reason. Great video thanks..
