I noticed you’re using the DJI mic in that motorcycle tail bag. Are you happy with it? Does it connect straight away to the camera via airpods setting? How’s the quality in that configuration? I’m getting a lot of wind noise on mine, even with the added muffs on the sides so I’m looking for an external solution
Do you have a video that goes over best accessories for use underwater (besides Invisible Dive Case)? Can I use the standard selfie stick that comes with it?
Great overview! What are the foam pads on the sides of the X3 you use for moto vlogging? Is that to reduce wind nose? If so, what accessory do you use for that?
@@RobHK Thanks! Are they actually effective for shielding motorcycle speed wind noise? I would like to get some sounds of the bike, but obviously that would have to be blended with speech from another source. $10 for a piece of foam and a sticker seems a bit expensive if they're only partially effective.
Tbh, i would just record a video with the phone and have tue phone in my backpack, then grab the audio from the video and use that as the exhaust sound. Will be much better. Or get the dji mic 2 with internal recording for $99 which has a wider use
@@RobHK Interesting idea. I have an electric moto (Zero), so I'm more interested in the motor and belt sound to blend into videos. But a phone audio inside my tank bag is a good idea. Thanks for the suggestion!
I see you have the Insta360 mic wind muffs,, and I’m assuming you have X3 mic settings set to “stereo.” So, do they work well for moto-vlogging, or just so-so?
@@RobHK thank you sorry another question can I export in 4k from insta to premier pro or any editing software then upload in 4k in RUclips? Sorry asking again
Love your work man… still haven’t managed to buy you a beer in oslo! I’m about to replace the lens on my Insta 360x1 for the second time (home fix with spare lenses bought online) cos it scratches so easily when put down on a hard surface.. (was scratched the second time I ever had it out!) the cloth cover is such an obvious but good tip!
True. Phones are taking pretty good photos these days and it’s easier to carry around an action camera. So for youtube/travel a bigger camera rather adds limitations
I’m so on the fence about purchasing this camera. I’m doing a good bit of real estate photography and would like to incorporate this for VIrtual tours. I’ve heard that the video quality isn’t that great, but I guess I won’t know for sure until I purchase it.
Idk how it is for real estate. But if you’re promoting the property via social media i see no better camera than the X3 tbh. Endless options, re-use the same clips with different angles. Change aspects as you wish etc.
About 45 minutes on phone app, your phone will get burning hot, you can't leave to screen to another app... The battery will deplete majorly on camera and phone..
The edges are so blurry and pixelated in every kind of lighting condition if you are to slighlty zoom.Anythiong less that Ultra Wide and Mega Wide is a mess. Dewarp which makes the image more of a 16/9 without distrortion is unusable in broad daylight. Really disappointed in this camera. Every review seems to not mention its poor image quality. I even thought i got a faulty camera at first but even after rma turned out this is how it works. Tried playing this different settings , setting the iso at 100 and a shutter to around 2k to compensate dor daylight , shooting at 5.7k and 4k but the result are really poor when zoomed. This is pretty much only worth for zoomed out spherical videos.

What backpack is that!? Great. Videos by the way!

This filmed on active hdr or regular video?

Nice one bro
Good Morning, Happy Monday.
Viewed on my Laptop and liked and Subscribed on my Mobile Phone ❤.

Appreciate that mate🤙😎

Definitely👍 i would say good but not perfect, but good enough 👍
Cool
My question is after export from insta application can I edit in premier pro ? For color grading?
Yes, its what i do. But in FCP

Haha! Next time 😎 the pouch is the best "free" accessory for sure
Brilliant as ever, Rob. For bright days - do you step down exposure to minus?
How can I fix the line stitching?
Awesome info! Thank you!!
does anyone know the color science input for Insta360 LOG ? Would love to find that out for coloring workflow with CST’s in Davinci.
Could I use the motorcycle clap on an ATV vehicle or a Jet Ski?
Yes of course 👍😊
0:23 Brilliant
Do you only use action cams or do you use proper cameras like full frame ect?
To be honest, i rarely use my A7S iii nowadays. Its mainly in the studio and to take photos. So ive been thinking about selling it for the last year🤔
@@RobHK I'm on the fence of getting one but other than zoomed photos I cant see the benefit especially with action cam and phone quality

Thanks for your video
Does X3 overheat very often?
I have one & never overheated on me, even after about 1h of continuos recording
Im using it here in the maldives now and never had any overheating issues. Not in Hawaii either😊👌
I have played many full 18 hole rounds of golf with the camera mounted on top of the golf cart, never have issues with over heating.
What's the learning curve like to use this?
What kinda question is this lol
how long to export a 5 minute video
About 45 minutes on phone app, your phone will get burning hot, you can't leave to screen to another app... The battery will deplete majorly on camera and phone..
4:40 Formentor?
No
NORGE!!
😬
