I remember you having a build using the SERPENT-GOD'S CURVED SWORD. But I can’t find it. Can you share the title of that build video?
If I start with 1 lvl character. is it any sense to put any points in Faith? You didn’t say a word about Faith when you was talkings about intelligence and arcane.
It's nice to see a build that's focused on exploration rather than boss fights. Thanks.
If u don't mind me suggesting something, go for a health Regen build. Absolutely broken for exploration. Blessing of the Erdtree, with Blasphemous Blade and Assassin's Crimson Dagger is absolutely great. Melee focused, generally takes less time to kill enemies, faith can help with Danage Negation buffs, and AP buffs. Keep a Sacred Claymore for Fire Resist bosses (I am assuming u are asking for the DLC). This was the build I ran when I cleared the entirety of the 1st section of the Haligtree (Prayer Room to Elphael Inner Wall), including the damn revenants.
Hope this helps ❤
@@aayushdasgupta9754 thank you. I actually know this build but haven't tried it yet. But it must be perfect for exploration since you kill so many enemies throughout the level to restore your HP. Definitely gonna try it.
Before SOTE drops, just wanna say a huge thankyou to you guys for helping to make ER so accessible to new souls players like my gf. The fact she is so easily able to search stuff and find info about the locations of things made her play through so enjoyable. And then she could see countless videos about different builds she can try. You guys are awesome.
honey wake up! there is a new build!!!!
Hahahahah this got me good
Joe, you gotta take the meds man, there is no honey here, only tarnished lads
Your wife ain’t sleeping or awhile.
Lightning Arrows recipe (Ancient Dragon Apostle cookbook #1) is found in the Wyndham Catacombs in the Altus Plateau. Great vid and build idea. I don’t think this info was mentioned in the video.
Lightning Slash is found on a teardrop scarab in the center of a camp in the northeastern part of the Altus Plateau.
The Genichiro build
So true
I have a Genichiro build, but using black bow for more mobile shooting, double slash for the Nagakiba to imitate Geni's multiple slashes, and some lightning incantations. It's a hell lot of fun.
@@leechoonfai4316I run a blackflame build similarly, except talisman buff frees up the aow, so I also run double slash/unsheathe. Looks cool! Even if blackflame is kinda bad conparitively. Haven't tried lightning yet, seems to be best dex option overall.
This is basically his supreme samurai build but modified to focus more on ranged.
WOOH MY NEW BUILD. HAVEN'T WATCHED THE VIDEO BUT I KNOW IM USING IT
These thumbnails are always amazing. I was hoping you would do a build with mighty shot, and you delivered. Nicely done 👍
I needed this build thanks bro
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THIS BUILD FEXTRA
Constantly impressed by your ability to come up with innovative builds. This is great.
This is perfect finally a build and playstyle that lets you dex and magic snipe without magic or faith
this build looks sick as hell, you've outdone yourself man
This is exactly what I was looking for in my most recent playthrough pre-dlc!
Very nice editing with synching up of the bow shots with the klicks of the subscribe klicks in the beginning! :D
Glad you finally realized the mighty shot can be aimed behind sights.. the devs really thought of so many options with build making with this system. Makes the fantasy come alive.
@@ArawnOfAnnwn well I heard they are fixing that in the dlc
Best Elden Ring content. Great work
Woohoo new build to grind !!!!
You're amazing!! thank you so much!
Umbasa. I approve of this build especially for blind first play through of DLC! I use a variation of this with a keen urumi in the offhand as well.
Good timing. I was just replaying the game with bow build and didn’t wanted to use the black bow. I didn’t know that about lighting arrows
Omg the alien albeneric bow, the bow over been using for ages, definitely my favorite bow
Sweetie I think there’s been enough builds by now
Nice discovery!
That mouse click @ 0:16 lined up with the bow shot flawlessly
Also, this is dead ass crazy. This is literally the EXACT (well almost exact) same build I’m running right now on my new character for Shadow of Erdtree. I’m only like RL 90 atm, but I’m using Lightning Nagakiba, with the exact same AoW, main stat is Dex, with some incantations for support and it fucking slaps lol, seriously in PvE is so damn fun to use. Only difference is I’m using a Great Bow instead, but I had no idea (or didn’t even think) that Lightning Arrows also scaled off Dexerity, so I may switch bows as buying/crafting regular lightning arrows vs great arrows will probably save me a lot of runes and time lol.
Can’t edit for some reason. Anyway also been thinking of swapping the AoW for something else that deals high single target damage and can ignore shields, like the AoW the naga comes with, switch the Naga to pure Dex scaling, and use the Lightning Incantation instead, as my issue is the current AoW is good but it comes out rather slow and isn’t very “spammable” But yeah haven’t had any issues with this set up yet.
Anyway, love ur vids, keep at it man!
You should be able to get 18 Strenght for the Nagakiba by not having those 3 extra levels in Dex (and still using the Okina Mask) and starting with the naked class or another class without wasted levels in Int, yeah.
Fun thing, I knew Mighty Shot could be aimed because most streamers/youtubers playing Elden Ring for the first time I've watched, for some reason, always use the bow in aim mode, and never press the light attack, only the skill imput, while doing so. lol
fextralife drop another gazillion elden ring build videos, and im eat them all up everytime
Sneaking up and shooting arrows and then going in for the melee with the nagakiba... chefs kiss
This build sounds nice but imma keep my current build for Shadow of the Erdtree. I've recently discovered that plain good ol' Knight is awesome build too.
I use:
Blaidd armor without cape
Crusader Helmet
Carian Medium shield
Flamberge with that Godrick-like ranged wind attack(i forgot the name) and it's really nice
your videos on builds are great!! but I think most people prefer to try out the new weapons (which is my case) I have a character that I can use everyweapon, not optimized of course but I have fun with all my choices that I have
I am trying to build a lighting warrior build and instead of a katana I'm using the Omen Clever with lighting slash. There is a badass stunlock combo of L2, R2, R2, R1 that does a heaping amounts of damage. I'm definitely adding the bow to my build.
I may try this in the new DLC. It's this or the Great sword with one of the roar buff ashes of war. Thanks for the video Fextralife.
Come on Fextralife, i dont have anymore larval tears
I love the concept, but if I have an 80 DEX build with a Nagakiba and Lightning Slash, I'd probably forget to use the bow anyway.
I am going to do an early game build with this but am thinking either lordsworn ss or gs. Barricade shield on a medium and lightning slash on main weapon. I think it will work well for guard counters.
Excellent video. What bow would you use until you get the Albinauric, which is lage game.
So basically it's the samurai class but on steroids
you could also use the dragon scale katana cause its pretty much the same, length of the sword is only shorter but the frost debuf makes you do more dmg
This is the Genichiro build, I love it.
The pulley bow is a good consideration for this build because you can get him waay earlier than the albinaric on mt.gelmir and helps with the range... another strong build for the DLC!!
Great build can you try to make a build with the night rider halberd been trying to make one
Could shave points off of Faith with a Dagger having Golden Vow AoW. Use those points into Strength for the Naga to be one handed- comes in handy with buckler situations. Good build nevertheless
We’re gonna been eating good with DLC build videos.
Do we know if we need to or how we unlock the new martial arts weapon class? Would love to do the whole DLC with it & then a NG+ cycle
Im gonna do this but focus more on strength and use great bows and hopefully the great katanas
YESSSSS
Can you make a ng+ rot build using scarlet aeonia please! 🙏
What Bow did you start off with when you were first making this build? did you start off with the great bow in Lindell in the tower or did you start off with what the Long bow because it already has mighty shot on it?
And what early game arrows did you use before you got the cookbook in Wyndom Catacombs or did you go straight there?
The ability to mighty shot through manual aiming was in DS3 also.
Just played through 1 game in 17 hours with this build, nearly everything except fire giant was first try. Lightning seems to be nuts, i tried Great Stars at the end just for fun. Its amazing xD...
the sky shot + aim doesn't work lol
I have 94 Str, 89 Dex, and 94 Arcane. Level 536 the Best 3 bows are the Serpent Bow, Pulley Bow, and the Erdtree Bow. If you use Golden Epitaph you don't need the Erdtree Bow. My build is based on the Godrick Rune. I'll be done at Level 565. Storm hawk Arrows and Serpent Arrows are the highest DPS. Using Rain of Arrows with Storm hawk Arrows is a guaranteed poise break.
This actually looks like a sick, build.. I just don't have that bow and I CBF farming it atm... 😂 😂
Question could this work with fire I know it a silly question but I like the build want something. Like this with flaming strike and flame arrows with a bow is that possible and should I go strength or flame art ??
I had no idea lightening arrows scale with Dex 🤯
Can you do a build with The Great Stars?
You can buy lightning arrows from the merchant on the broken bridge in Altus.
This is roughly the build I’m taking into the DLC. I’m planning to do a Isshin/Genichiro cosplay using Naginata, a Katana and a bow. Just trying to sort out my drip now.
Do we think the dlc will have more larval tears and ancient somber stones? Or just in base game so farm up?
Is it not worth using the lightning scorpion charm for the extra lightning damage instead of the bull goat? Especially since the whole build is based on lightning.
It’s really weird that this poped up when I was looking up dnd samurai archer.
leaving the lighting theme aside, is it better to use the keen or electric nagakiba with this ash of war?
Time for another fextra correcting montage. Mostly good only problem is stats, drop 10 mind for Vigor to get 60 Vigor
I won't stop until I see 60 Vigor builds
Thats almost exactly my build, but I use int bow with dwelling arrows, and if someone comes close, I finish them off with carian piercer or an off hand rapier.
What is the ash of war in the Nagakiba?
Not really an all-game build if you can't get the bow and art of war early on. but sounds good anyway. Was wondering if you are every going to make an all-game magic build anytime soon?
Idk if you have already done it but you should make a build with the sword of Milo’s
Any updates on the build with the DLC now rolled out?
With the newest patch this goes quite hard.
I have a 200 lvl build with 99 arcane to get into the DLC, damage sucks for occult infusions but I want to farm everything available, also have the silver scarab and I'm saving silver fowl foot
What do you recommend putting points into after you hit all the stat requirements listed for the build? Should I just pump dexterity to max? Thanks
Soft caps for dex are 60 and 80. No point past 80 for dex. Maybe focus health or faith for more utility and buffs.
@@BidElden Ok. Does increasing faith boost the power of Golden Order?
Quick question folks 1:56, for the Nagakiba should I use Keen instead cuz it has an A scaling in DEX or not? Great build idea as always!!
No, Lighting. But you could use Keen if you want.
@@Fextralife Tks for the reply!!
You said other talismans that I have but what was the first talisman? You have arrow sting ritual sword either shard depending, then what was the first one ? 🤔
Bullgoat. Raises poise
This build is wild!
I've tried to use bows a few times, but farming for good arrows becomes annoying. I end up using a ranged AoW or sorcery/incantation instead.
Elden Ring has an FPS build now, good.
But I said that you could use Mighty Shot aiming at enemies' heads in my explanation of Serpent Bow in the bows video...
Remembering that Mighty Shot applies the status effect with Serpent Bow, if you use Mighty Shot on the enemy's head the status effect is increased even more with Serpent Bow...
Fextralife i have a build for i hope you will show it in one of these videos

Still hoping for an all game pure wizard build
Genichiro build?
I have a funny build that is very powerful but it’s only possible in new game plus double cold Morningstar
All Game Sleep Build?
Perks of running this build: It's really funny to see godrick get lost in his gravestone maze he has in his arena
Tranished, Way of Tomoe
PLEASE MAKE A PULLEY BOW OMLY BUILD PLEASE
Light-load Supreme Samurai, or Ryoma of Hoshido with bows and arrows; decisions, decisions...
In a first run, what bow can I use until I get the Albinauric bow?
He said it at the end of the video
@@Rkilla7 Totally missed it!! Thaaaanks
every path leads to stealth archer ... even in elden ring
So, if you didn't know that you can get extra damage by headshot with bows... did you you also not know that you can get extra damage by headshot with melee weapons? (much harder to get, but still possible)
I think he meant he didn't know you could cast mighty shot ash of war whilst aiming at headshots
Kinda just want to run this without the bow lol
isn't it better to just put golden vow ash of war on a dagger and save points in faith for more mind or vigor? or even better have the ash of war on the sacrificial axe in the offhand then u get fp back after kills also?
We need a sekiro build
Do you remember when you said everyone will be talking about baldur’s gate 3 for many years?
Well… I don’t see anyone talking about that game anymore… I just see people still playing and talking about Elden Ring.
This is the best game ever.
Build summary: turn Elden Ring into an fps
검술로 따지면 서양인들의 검술을 뛰어 넘을껍니다. 매일매일 칼로 목숨건 싸움이니 일본 전국시대에 오랫동안 살아남은건 그만큼 강했다는 의미겠네요.
So apparently, you have to beat Mogh lord of Blood in order to enter the realm of Shadow of the Erdtree. That’s gonna be one hell of a challenge
Y
Everyone always say mohg is hard but I find he's one of the easiest and radahn. With the right build of course.
To me malenia and fire giant was harder.
Mogh was annoying but me and my friends eventually got it. Even with its need for certain things to be the boss effectively. I want to fight Radahn with my current build. Was handicapped most of playthrough with poorly placed levels. Didn't know what was good to have and still figuring out the game. First Souls game for me. But now I can actually do things and survive but also get challenged and have to improve my techniques.
Melania I couldn't enjoy. I was so done about time I got down to her boss room. Even with the help of my friends who have already beat her separately, it took us 4 or so tries. Took me making a dumb joke about her being a freeloader sibling and that she doesn't pay her taxes to improve my mood so we can finish that last try. And weirdly found a broken way to just negate her hardest attacks with several timed bloodfly casts and just smacking her down with two almost fully leveled great stars and my friend using Blasphemous blade and river of blood to just devour her health and stun lock her everytime she tried to nuke the arena with outer god space aids. Salvaged the mood and bodied a freeloaders demigod. All and all, a damn good day 😊
And Radahn
Bows are the best bows in the game, that is irrefutable.
Why do you never mention the physick?

You gotta stop these build videos man, every time I watch I want to respec!
