  • Race Ramps claim their ramps are virtually indestructible. See what they are really like once you've used them in the real world. A set of Race Ramps cost between £500 and £700 in round terms with shipping, are they worth it?
We only use them with lightweight sports cars, Porsche 911, Boxster and Cayman. We haven't used them with Porsche SUVs because that would overload our car transporter and there are only 2 people who use them so we're pretty careful.
We did contact Race Ramps before making this video to make sure we hadn't just got a bad batch but they confirmed the failures were entirely in line with their expectations and not a faulty set of ramps.

Thank you for an honest review. For the money the race ramps IMO are not worth buying. The company offering a 10% discount for the same quality ramp is a slap in the face telling you to go pound sand.

Wow...just bought the 80 inch model for my car (C8 Corvette) and I should have seen this video first. They are being delivered tomorrow. Got them thru Amazon at $536.00 and perhaps I will send them back immediately. You are correct in saying plenty folks talk about how good they are new but not in terms of how they hold up. Thanks.

Thank you for the highly informative video. I was swirling in the purchase funnel but extricated myself. I am going to go with jack rails on the Boss 302 Laguna Seca. They protect the pinch welds so regular steel jack stands can be used without harm. M.E.T.A.L. There is no substitute in an otherwise plastic world. Just subscribed.

Honest review of an expensive product, which does not appear to perform as they should for the money.

At least you now know how they stand up to being used - or rather don't stand up to being used !

@@dmalott0908 No worries. You don't mind paying for something if it lasts but no point wasting money if it doesn't.

As you mentioned, there are tons of videos unboxing these and using them for the first time. Hope the company makes good on a warranty claim for those because I would not use them further.

Race Ramps UK, Europe and the US all refused to do anything under warranty. They are happy this is normal.
