Here's my Grogu Luke Skywalker video why he'll leave the jedi order and what that means for the future of the Jedi. Post all your predictions in the comments! Here's my FULL Book of Boba Fett Episode 6 video too! ruclips.net/video/G1nLs5mJROA/видео.html
As someone who counsels people with severe PTSD, I kind of think that Grogu has this and it affected his choice. He sees the heroism and nobility of Din Djarin and the Mandalorians and the absolute terror and betrayal he suffered while in the care of the Jedi. In many ways he is a broken little guy with trust issues and Din has earned that trust while Luke and the Jedi have not. Just my two cents.
i think anakins "attachment issues" could have been easily solved by getting his mother off of tatooine. just knowing she was safe and living a better life might have been good for anakin. one of his defining moments that pushes him towards the dark side was the abduction and death of his mom by tuskan raiders. it wasn't his attachment that was the problem, it was the fact that his mom was left on a dangerous planet as a slave and he was expected to not care. quite frankly, the jedi way of doing things is problematic and i'm surprised that more jedi weren't pushed to the dark side because of the jedi rules. pirates were pirates because the royal navy was a worse and harder life.
The prophecy was not about Anakin, it was about Luke. Anakin was destined to be on the dark side because Luke can learn from his father, and others before him. The Jedi was also doomed to fail because of ignoring/ distancing from "attachments" and being involved in politics. The Jedi is just like the Mandalorian's both use old ways to move forward to the future but both failed. I also think that Luke is not truly the prophecy, someone else who was attached to him is the savior of the both Jedi and dark order. Like yin and yang force; need balance to survive in the Universe.
The whole kidnapping by Tuscan raiders was a set up by Palps to force Anakin to take a massive leap towards the dark. They had no reason to keep her. And why did she die at that exact moment? Adding to his failure, fear, then suffering,
It was very common in legends/George Lucas' original canon but when disney bought Lucas Films they changed that so that they could make their shitty sequel trilogy which im pretty sure was made non canon too because how terrible it was
The more I think about it, I think Luke is testing him. I mean, when given the same choice, Luke chose his friends and left Dagobah to go to Bespin. I know he didn't like losing his hand, but I doubt he regretted the choice. When he went back to Dagobah, Yoda said he was done. He passed. A Jedi, you are now. Maybe this the step Grogu has to take.
I definitely prefer that direction, but maybe have Luke go with Grogu just to prevent another "disarming" incident by watching from afar or adventuring briefly with Mando while continuing Grogu's training. He's too OP to be a part of Mando's journey, so he couldn't stay long; but it would be a bit irresponsible to test the child like he was in the past without safeguarding him in some way - powerful or not, Grogu is still a toddler and Luke is more physically able to protect him if he gets in too much trouble.
I was thinking the same, Luke had a very similar situation and still managed to became master jedi. And grogu lives 10times more than human, so there is no rush. He will become master jedi someday. But my question is does Din Jharen have the force enough to be a jedi? And I would love to see him as mandalorian jedi. I mean his beskar color and design, nabu starfighter. All leads to be dark saber belongs to be Din Jarin. If it's not Din Jarins Din Jharin would have to fight grogu over dark saber so I don't get why people think dark saber will be grogu's and grogu will be mandalorian jedi, Din Jharin and Grogu can never have true fight each other...
I'm hoping this is the case. The whole thing about attachments is supposed to be done with after Luke redeemed Vader. And it would be amazing if Grogu was the first new Mandalorian Jedi.
I do like that, while Luke is making some of the same mistakes of the jedi, he's allowing Grogu to choose rather than just force him into jedi training for life like the old jedi would have.
I think they're trying to portray the life of a Jedi as not being something easily accomplished. It takes a lifetime to become a Jedi master and even then no one truly stops learning. Luke knows this and would rather let Grogu be free now because he can always come back given his long lifetime. He even spoke about this briefly in one of his conversations with him.
I can see that... but we already know was corrupted by the dark side. I think Grogru made the choice someone trained at the Jedi Temple would make when confronted with Luke's manipulative choice. Much like a Sith Luke is.
Always believed since the sith had an origin species, the yoda species would be that Jedi version and therefore grogu is best suited to be both as he’s light side dominant.
@@vandoughlokz8137 the prophecy of Mandalore the armorer told Din djarin the mandalorian about. The first leader of Mandalore was both Jedi and mandalorian and ruled Mandalore.
Thats why i love ahsoka. She saw that the teachings and practice of the Jedi order was too dogmatic. They allowed no room for nuance. Ahsoka is a reflection of what the Jedi were meant to be...in my opinion of course
@@marcuspurnell2038 I don't know whether he's going to speak in riddles or not but the thought of him doing it makes me giggle. Maybe Grogu will she Luke "the way."
I like to think part of the reason why grogu chose the mandalore armor is due to past experiences. He looks to the lightsaber, and he thinks back to order 66. He sees presumably his old teacher doing his best to defend himself and the younglings with his saber. But eventually the clones overwhelm the jedi with a barage of blaster fire. Then he looks at the armor that Din made for him and thinks back to the countless times when Din charged head on into blater fire to protect him and never so much as falters.
Luke said it himself... "A short time for you is a life time for everyone else." Luke hinted to him it would take years for him to master the force, that if he would choose that path he would never see the Mandalorian again. This was a good piece of information that basically invites him to go on his holiday/adventures with Mando before committing his life to the Jedi ways. Yoda lived to 900 years. Only a small fraction of that was dedicated to the ways of the Jedi. The other portion remains unknown to lore.
What Luke means is that if he goes with Mando, by the time Grogu leaves Mando because of his death due to age or injury, Luke might be dead as well. And Grogu will still be a child then.
Yeah Luke was obviously referring to how it would take Grogu a couple hundred years to master the force and going with Mando would make little sense since it will be an incredibly short time for Grogu but gave him the choice regardless.
@@MorbidGod391 no, I just remembered that there are individual in the chiss empire that are force sensitive, and they are usually employed as a navigators of their empire.
I actually don't think that Luke's choice is real, I think it is him following his instinct that Grogu isn't ready to follow the path that Luke wants. I think when Grogu chooses the armour it will affirm Luke's instincts and Luke will give him the Lightsaber as well, allowing him to be on his way.
Yes, and Luke says something to Grocu. He said that a short time for Grocu can be a very long time for someone else, or something similar. Maybe because he knows that Grocu can spend all the life of Din with him and then he can decide to go back to the Jedi. It's a possibility to me
Partly I agree with you. To add to what you are saying, Luke gave him that choice because he also saw a part of himself in Grogu. Grogu is still young he has a lot to do to become a good Jedi if not the most powerful Jedi ever. That test unintentionally made grogu realize that there is another way to be good Jedi, having love and family. Personally, Grogu is smarter than Luke. He just likes to listen and act when it is important.
i feel like he is going to choose the armor and slowly unlock more of his memories. Then he will start to remember everything he was taught at the jedi temple. So he will become a Mandalorian but also know the ways of the jedi and be a combination of both.
@@emergencyawesome if they do side-step the sequels and make a story about grogu creating his own jedi order how would they explain what rey has been doing that entire time? isnt she supposed to be rebuilding an order? Or would it he just not create a "jedi" order and create something new. Something that is more about using both light and dark.
@@AngelusNielson I know that and we havent seen them in canon yet. So maybe they dont introduce them so that grogu is the one who eventually does.Or if they do introduce grey jedi, he can create an order that combines force abilities with mandalorian ways. So each member gets the jetpack and the beskar armor and you also get a lightsaber
In the show, there was a mention of a Jedi mandalorian that existed back then. I believe that will be Grogu’s future. He’s going to be the next Jedi Mandalorian and a powerful good one. I do definitely believe Grogu will be the one to reject the old ways of the Jedi, but instead create a whole new one. Possibly a better way for generations to come.
Imagine years and years into the future, Grogu starting a new order that fuses the Jedi and Mandalorian ways, taking the best of both and creating something truly remarkable.
I never considered that Grand Master Grogu was a possibility. Yes, he would leave, stay with Din for Din’s lifetime and watch that clan grow (hopefully Din has a family). Grogu would learn from Mando culture as well and perhaps bring aspects of that into a new order. Omg the fan fic writers are buzzing with excitement.
Why do you think Grogu would create a Jedi Academy in the future, be it like 50+ yrs from present day? Isn’t that just copying Lukes path? Don’t we deserve something different? I feel its time to expand the entire universe. Everybody is not a master fit enough to create an academy. Lol.
@@4sightfilmsLLC not an academy a new order of Force users. He may do that, using some aspects of Jedi, Sith and Mandalorian influences. Something completely new
I'm going to be upset if they don't portray Luke like how he is in Legends; pushing his students to embrace the connection with their loved ones and drawing the power of the light side from their emotional connections.
This is quite literally the first student he's taught. Luke likely thought that, since Grogu began his training at the old Jedi Temple, it would be more effective to teach him in the same or a similar manner, so Grogu wouldn't have to unlearn Jedi dogma, or relearn the basics.
Long term theory, Grogu won’t necessarily hold the dark saber, but he will heal the kyber crystal bringing balance to the Mandalorians being he will choose the bescar. That’s how he will not be killed by Kylo Ren later on. Grogu will also carry the next Jedi in a grey kinda way being Luke could not learn that lesson earlier on. Grogu might tap into the force and be able to learn from Qui Gon and other Jedi who can be force ghosts. Being that Grogu will live so long, he will bring balance the both the mandalorians way of life with solidarity and the Jedi’s lack of attachment into balance. Both the mandalorians and Jedi in a way have lost their way, Grogu will bring balance to them both. Bringing a full circle to the story.
At this point we dont even kniw if the sequel trilogy are canon anymore because how many rhettcons they have made to stuff that leads into the sequels and it even seems to me they are building up a bunch of lore to fill the massive time gap between the end of the second death star up until the sequels take place that to me it seems they are gearing up to completely remake the sequels and make the current sequels non canon also it seems with Grogu they are setting up the grey jedi which are like the jedi but they dont limit themselves like the jedi do they use both the dark and light side of the force they dont kidnap children and they dont have the same attachment rules that the jedi have and stuff like that they are pretty cool tbh also Kal from the jedi fallen order game is still working on building up his own jedi order from what we know so he could learn from kal who has also been extremely neutral with the 2 sides of the force like cannoically using a double sided light saber and a bunch of dark side abilities so we could also see something with him
Heres the thing, the darksaber cant be healed because its not damaged, and also i have a theory that mando will actually re-unite the mandalorians and become “Mand’alore the restorer, Uniter, etc”
Baby Yoda will end up doing the same thing as Luke did. He will choose Mando (as Luke chose his friends), help Mando on his adventure, and eventually return to his former master. It's poetic. I'm into it
For what it is worth, I believe that the choices between 'the way' of Mandaloins and Jedi philosophy is obvious in the type of military hardware that defines them; the lightsaber is a weapon of offence as well as defence, while Beskar armour is only defensive (The Armourer made the same point regarding the Beskar spear In the previous episode). In choosing the armour, Grogu lessens the risk of being drawn to the Dark Side. As Luke discovered when confronted with Ben Solo, the fear of the Dark Side can lead to mistakes. Grogu's rejection of the Lightsaber shows that Force sensitives can take a different path that does not risk turning to the Dark Side.
Grogu's flashback scene was also very similar to din's flashback scenes in the first season. They have alot more in common than even they know. Deep connection.
Yeah I loved how in seasons one and two, both Grogu and Mando were hidden in enclosures with two halves/doors and both were almost killed by droids yet both saved by Mandalorians.
I think the choice between 2 is a test, Luke wants to see if Grogu will hold on to his attachments and see if they make him more balanced. Luke only defeated the empire through attachment to his father, leia, han and so on, so maybe this is his way of building the new jedi
in the Legends canon Luke changes a lot of the Jedi's teachings regarding attachments, including families, jobs, possessions and even love, creating a new generation of Jedi who are arguably more relatable to the public and grow in their own way. Ironically his best student was Kyle Katarn, a man with very few of all of those traits. Luke himself is learning to be a Jedi Master, so he is not the Yoda in this relationship but more like Obi-Wan when he was with Qui-Gonn Jin
@@SantomPh Yes.Luke is supposed to be the new Jedi paradigm that replaces the old ways. That’s why I’m confused about Luke being against attachment in canon, which is really lame.
I freaking love this, I want grogu to be with din and adopt some mandalorian culture. Once his dad dies, he can continue learning the Jedi ways and unlocking his full potential but still remembering... "The Way". Freaking awesome
Luke pointed out his age because he knows Grogu can live a 1000 years while the Mandalorian has at most another 70 give or take. So he has time to stay with him and come back to resume his training as a Jedi.
I was watching this and I got to about 4:37 before I was like so why did Kylo Ren and all the other people get into the Jedi academy then? Luke abandons the old philosophy of the Jedi and follows a new path, which he ultimately believes to be a failure until Rey and Kylo succeed. These Jedi attachment issues and complete non use of emotion is gone by the Luke Skywalker temple, he loves his friends and family severely. Honestly, I love that you are so deep into the story, but you've legit removed everything that is Lukes Jedi Order and turned it upside down. Luke himself grew up to adulthood with a family and friends, he further becomes more emotional attached to his new friends and even his fathers old droid.
The key for good Star Wars content is simply to ignore the last two movies. Especially the very last, given how it made Darth Vader's sacrifice meaningless.
It was also attachment and connection that turned Anakin back to the light and brought him to kill the emporer and save his son. You would think Luke would start to wonder about some of these things.
That would have been the perfect arc for Jedi Luke unfortunately Rian Johnson happened to the Star Wars universe, and that posibility is totally out of the picture.
Also has a best friend Hon, is close with his Twin sister, grew up with a family that loved him, knows the old Jedi Order failed because of their rules, etc.. Shit.. dude is super close with his fuckin astro-mech droid ...
The more logic you apply to it the dumber the whole thing gets lol. Hes what? Like 30 years old? He didn't even know the Jedi existed for like 2/3s of his life. He has never really had any personal experience with detachment. He never gave up any relationships. The only experience he has with attachment in the Jedi order is leaving yoda to go savehis friends, and wanting to save vader cuz he was his dad lol. Why would be even believe in detachment, much less teach it to others.
Grogu felt lost without his daddy, as seen in their reunion, he flew into Mando's arms at first sight of him. They have deep emotions for each other as father and son. In the future, I think Grogu will become a Jedi - Mandalorian hybrid of great power. Could make for some exciting movies to come. Grogu "IS THE WAY."👽
I honestly think Luke wants Grogu to choose attachment. I believe he’s testing Grogu to see if he will choose his own destiny or if he will fall for the old Jedi teachings.
It's a test of which side Grogu leans to, the choices are opposing, either an offensive or defensive armament. I think it's interesting also that Grogu chooses the "defensive" option whilst the Mandalorian is offensive by default, although he wears "armour", he is a hunter and has all kinds of offensive weapons at his disposal
Grogu remembering and unlocking past Jedi skills reminds me of when Cal Kestis also relearns the abilities he achieved before the Order 66 tragedy. Before he blocked those memories out and suppressed his Force abilities.
I feel he may choose the lightsaber, knowing he must learn to protect himself and those he loves, including Din. However, during the training (as Luke felt when he was training with Yoda in Empire), he will have a force vision of Mando in dire trouble during the battle against the Pykes. Like Luke, he will choose to leave his training to assist his friends. But Luke will understand this, having made that same decision before, and accompany Grogu to Tatooine to assist Mando. Plus Luke will not want his home planet to fall into the wrong hands. When all seems lost for Din, Boba, and the others, Luke and Grogu will appear. Bringing friends like Han and Chewie to help, maybe even Lando. Ultimately, I believe Grogu will choose to stay with Mando after the battle, and he will become the first Mandolorian Jedi since Tarre Vizsla.
I think people misunderstood Luke saying ‘you may never see the mando again’. I think he simply meant that Grogu is very long lived and Mando will die of old age before he finishes his training. Not that it was not allowed just this is what that choice will mean.
In referring directly to Grogu’s long lifespan Luke was pretty explicit about that. Only the hard of hearing and the terminally stupid could have misunderstood.
I would never have thought I would like some sideways attempt at a Star Wars offshoot series. By the time the episode with Mando and Grogo taking that amphibious lady with her eggs to her husbands planet and Grogo kept sneaking her eggs to eat, I was into it. Last episode where Luke comes to the ship and dispatches the dark androids, and Grogo must choose to leave his friend was - if you just let go and enjoyed - it was touching. This seasons late entrance of the little guy showing up in the wagon of that wacky lady to finally see his friend, and using the force to jump into his arms was also touching. I keep hearing Paul Simons ‘Mother And Child Reunion’. Then he must use his newly expanded skills to save the Mandalor friend, and falls asleep next to that giant creature, it was done really well. Kudos to Jon for writing such a good show. The last scene of the kid tapping on the glass to egg his friend on to fly faster, and Mando keeps refusing untill he can’t any more, and finally tells the kid ‘this is the last time’ , throws his hands up like a kid on a fair ride and yells in happiness. A great ending to the season, leaving us wanting more right away.
I don't think Grougu will choose between the two in the way we are being led to believe. Grogu could be the first on screen adaptation of Grey Jedis, though one could argue both Anakin and Luke were/are Grey Jedis as they form/formed attachments (familial and romantically) which is against Jedi teaching. I'd like to see Grogu use both Yoda's lightsaber and Din's gift armour.
Yes but when Luke left Yoda, his training was complete and Yoda passed away. Grogu isn't fully trained and leaving now would be akin to rejecting the Jedi way.
@@GSP-76 if I was given a choice to be either a Mandalorian or a Jedi in the Star Wars universe I’d choose Mandalorian any day of the week, being a Jedi brings nothing more than pain, misery and cruel death and to top that off you become a Force Ghost doomed to watch the downfall of many more Jedi to come over the years, also if you are a Jedi you have to keep your emotions in check which is REALLY difficult. It’s difficult already as a normal person, and as a Jedi it would he 10x worst and more dufficult. A mandalorian can kill and not worry about becoming all evil. I kind of wish Luke had rejected being a Jedi and be more like Ashoka
Another reason why GL and F/F team likely chose that species as Yoda. Grogu will correct the mistakes of his late Grand Master in the new Jedi Orders. He’s the orphan child from the period of Order 66, so it will be his life mission to correct things his late masters made. He’ll be around during say: “The New Generation Republics and Jedi Orders, ( as you recalled the old EU days where Revan lived ) he’ll form new Jedi Orders and Temple with new set of Characters lore, etc. TNGSWS. How Interesting. 😏
Disney doesn't even have to release new massive budget movies to achieve this either. They could do a smaller budget straight to Disney plus movie(s) to give the fans what they want. If it gets a ton of views/rental, make it cannon and move on.
Cool theory. For this to happen, Mando will have to give the dark sabre to Grogu and that might spell future turmoil considering the Armorer's warning about not obtaining the sabre through combat.
I think it was the right move .Grogu ''giving into his feelings'' is a good thing if he stays resentment could have built up. As many people in reactions have pointed out ''we don't need another anakin''(well until ben of course).I like that this gives grogu the opportunity to become a Mandalorian (as well as a jedi because he could always choose to continue his study/remember pervious lessons hopefully with flashbacks).
I believe he'll do the one thing no one else could achieve in the star wars universe... Having a good relationship with his surrogate father thus making him his own person and the best of both worlds. He'll walk the line between Mando and Jedi taking only the good and removing the bad dogma. In the future, he'll dawn the Mando armor and wield the dark saber.
Idk I think he’ll stay with Luke for longer to train more and unlock his past memories then, in season three of the mandalorian he’ll sense mando in trouble and then will return to him and help him, or he’ll choose mando and go and help him and boba with luke but then realise he needs to stay with luke and train more. I also think they’ll do this to make a Luke and grogu tv show about his training
I believe it certainly foreshadows this. However, Ben Solo's fall will ultimately be the precipice to that understanding for Luke. Luke is currently at the age and mindset he spoke of in TLJ- where he had his hubris; just as the Jedi before did.
He is a hypocrite. He was caring for his family and friends. Thanks to the force among them, they defeated the Empire. Thanks to this old crap rules from the prequels, what he continues to teach Baby Yoda, the Jedi died and lost. WTF Luke is an idiot here. Jon Favreau and Filoni are idiots here too. This episode is 2/10, literally. Oh, i forgot to mention Ashoka. A great past-Jedi who has her own philosophy what is greater than Jedi. She is hanging out with Luke who is teaching Baby Yoda this crap she hates. Logic?????
I honestly hope he chooses the lightsaber. I wanna see him use that thing. But if he ends up picking the armor, I’ll bet that the dark saber becomes his at some point.
If he chooses the lightsaber, and assuming the sequel trilogy is still canon, they he is dead by that time, and I don't see them going that route. It's have him quit or kill off the franchise's most popular character while he is still a child. They won't do that. He has to choose the armor.
Grogu is showing he is wise beyond his years even by his species standards just being a kid. Him choosing the armor over the lightsaber was a brilliant move by the writers. It would have been too predictable otherwise for him to choose Luke over Mando. Can't wait to see what develops in the future moving forward
I loved this scene when it was done in the first "Lone wolf and Cub" movie. Only in that movie, the baby chose the sword. It's nice to know that the Star Wars writers are stealing such good quality material. Being a movie collector, it's hard for screen writers these days to come up with something I haven't seen before [that was done better].
Watching this cute little yoda tearing things apart with the force is the greatest thing Star Wars has ever done. Imagine if they hadn’t actually used a puppet. Jon Favreau is incredible
I was really hoping Grogu would have held out both hands and force grabbed both things and been like "I don't think so, you don't give me an ultimatum, Skywalker".😂
Emergency Awesome by going this route it does kinda does “side step” so All in all I hope Star Wars continues to go in this new direction! Thanks Charlie! Always appreciate you!
I can imagine Din’s philosophy and his take on the Mandalorian way will make an impact on Grogu, for when he trains other Jedi’s. It will be an amalgamation of Jedi and Mandalorian philosophy.
Granted that Luke used Anakin's lightsaber as long as he did, but, Obi-Wan was in a hurry to get him trained up as much as he could in order to be able to face Vader. So he would have to skip a lot of traditional padowan training. However, with Luke starting the temple from scratch and Grogu being his first student AND Luke having the books on how to train, I feel Luke would've trained Grogu the old way. But, hey, what do I know. Oh, and not to mention that Ahsoka is there who would've know the old ways as well...... Grogu needs to construct his own saber. The kaiber crystal that chooses Grogu might be blue for all we know. #ilovestarwars since i was 7 years old in 1978!
There’s no point in a Yoda species being a Mandalorian, their entire being is connected to the force? Grogu is going to need the training at least to survive and I believe he understands that..
Did you not pick up on when they were training and Luke said “it seems like he’s just remembering everything” Grogus 50 years old he’s already had a decent amount of training he just locked it away because of the memories it gave him like the order 66 flashback
yep, I feel the whole purpose of Grogu's creation as a character is to help guide the Jedi order to a more whole and grounded one. Refusing Yoda's lightsaber and Lukes teachings will establish him to walk his own unique path, possibly bringing into balance the healthy aspects of attachment. To abandon attachment all together, can cause a gateway to open, leading towards the darkside. From how i would innerstand it, a delicate balance is needed to be recognised. What this means for one individual is different for another. There is no one blanket for all type solution. This gives an organicness to the force and the complexities that lies within. Each force user growing to innerstand their own unique identity in connection to the force, which gives each force user their own unique power. Ultimately Grogu will always be destined to have a light saber, even if he is written to turn to the darkside. He could also turn and claim the dark saber for dark purposes or light. Be interesting to see which way he is shaped and moulded in the greater Star Wars story. Also it makes sense if Mando only lives to 90-100, y wouldnt one chose to spend only a fraction of their own life span to spend it with someone that matters a great deal to them...makes a lot of sense. Yet Grogu also has his own destiny to discover which im sure the force itself will have a hand in help guiding to what he's true potential and path is.
The key is the Dark Saber; where it came from and who originally wielded it. It will come back around to it. There is a reason so much was revealed about the sword in the middle of a Boba Fett series. Grogu will carry it and bring the story of the sword nearly full circle.
Luke at this point knows the ways of the force hence how he alone defeated and destroyed all those dark troopers so he knew that Grogu was going to leave to help Mando feeling that he was in much danger remember in the finale Grogu chose to go with Luke knowing what that meant also when he saw Mando's ship leaving I knew that like Luke left Yoga's teachings to go save his friends at cloud city Grogu did the same very thing and then return to Luke for training
When I watch these episodes with Luke, Ashoka, and Grogu, I always feel like the reason he ultimately goes back to Din is because Grogu feels the need to protect him. Because let's face it, Din needs Grogu more than Grogu needs Din. On many levels. Grogu knows Din is important to the everyday people of the Galaxy, so he feels obligated to protect him. And I think the only reason he goes with Luke is because a) he knows Din wants to give Grogu the opportunity; and b) Grogu wants the opportunity to unlock some of his training in the service of helping Din do what he needs to do. Whatever that may be. But certainly, Din is already a man of the people. And he is being set up to become a man of many more people than he already is.
My theory is Grogu is going to be the rightful holder of the Dark Saber. Interesting that physical strength isn't what makes you able to wield the dark Saber properly(size doesn't matter)He's also part Mandalorian and part Jedi so the Dark Saber is so fitting for him it also being part Mandalorian and Jedi itself.
I love the direction this is going if the general theory here is correct. Grogu, like yoda, has a way of being the more radiant and memorable character in the Star Wars stories despite playing the supporting role. I also didn’t like the ultimatum Luke gives him, although I do understand why the Jedis put so much emphasis on avoiding emotional attachments, because emotions can be easily broken when something unfortunate happens to a loved one which in turn increases the odds that a Jedi may use the force in a way that leads them to the dark side. Like Luke’s father obviously, but I think that something inherent in Grogu’s species will prevent that. There’s something about them that is endlessly pure and completely in tune with the light side of the force, like a sort of singularity between their soul and the force that can’t be broken and a genetic code that prevents even the slightest possibility of ill-will or “evil”. So I can definitely see Grogu transcending the Jedi tradition of having to forget about those you love in order to stay on the right path. Which will allow him to re-unite with the Mandalorian and still be on the light side. There’s one thing I’d like to add to this theory as far as Yoda’s lightsaber goes, I have a feeling that the mischievous ways that obviously run deep in the DNA of Grogu/Yodas species will play a role in Grogu somehow pulling one over on Luke and taking the lightsaber with him no matter what lol. Because the little guy is super cute and too innocent to have bad intentions I wouldn’t consider it stealing haha, it’s like his fascination with the shiny ball from the Mandalorians ship or when he’s trying to secretly chow down on some amphibious creatures. You just can’t be mad at the little dude for doing what children do, he may be 50 years old but to his kind that’s like the blink of an eye. ;p
Why choose the Jedi? There's literally nothing for him there. Even Luke admits that it's less of him training Grogu and more Grogu remembering his old training. So he can be a powerful force wielding Mandalorian with no drawbacks at all. There's literally no incentive to be a Jedi, other than to hang out with Luke.
He might leave now but if the Mandalorian needs darksabre training I would see him going to Luke Skywalker for help and in that process Grogu could construct his own
@@lpeabody Luke may know nothing of the Dark Saber. But in learning about it he would learn about Tarre Vizsla and perhaps that Jedi Mandalorians have existed in the past. Both organizations are now in total shambles and Grogu could act as a point of unity among them both. But either way, Luke would be coming to him with extremely rare and important Jedi artifact. I do think when the show finishes we will find out that "The Mandalorian" wasn't Din, it was Grogu.
There’s a lot of Buddhist allusions with respect to Jedi training. One of the 4 Noble Truths in Buddhism is that our attachments are the cause of our suffering. I also find it cool that Ahsoka’s name is practically identical to Ashoka, India’s greatest Philosopher-King Emperor who was pivotal in spreading Buddhism around Asia and the Middle East. I think Grogu in time will become a hybrid Jedi- Mandalorian and his new Jedi school will offer new hybrid teachings and trainings as well.
I think it would be really awesome if Grogu were to choose the armor -- But as he is leaving, have Luke GIVE him the lightsaber, saying "The Jedi saw attachment as a weakness and a liability, but it was love and friendship that gave me the strength to defeat the darkness... I hope it does the same for you."
I really hope there will be more seasons of Mandalorian and Book of Bobafet. I would very much like to see what becomes of Gorgu as he grows up and how his relationship develops with his Mandalorian Dad. Why do the Jedi always think that loving someone and having an emotional bond would hinder their use of the force and lead to the dark side? Love being the most powerful force in the universe, I would think that Love would compliment the force and make them more powerful, just like hate compliments the dark side and makes the sith more powerful.
I want to know how Luke found Yoda’s lightsaber!! That thing was lost to the floor of the senate right before Yoda went into exile on Degohbah… He would have no reason to construct another one… how did Luke end up with it all those years later??
Palpatine definitely would have found it after their fight (probably just looking for Yoda's body), and Palpatine is definitely the type to collect things for his own instead of destroy them so it was definitely tucked away somewhere. Luke probably found it on Coruscant after the rebels took over.
I think it is very likely that Grogu will choose the armor and reunite with Mando. However I think at some point Mando will lose the dark saber in the future, and Grogu will eventually try to claim it to become the next Mandalorian Jedi. Then in the future (however many hundreds of years) he will be able to restart a Jedi order and a new trilogy can be formed around that
I'm not sure of Luke's reasoning for his choice, but I actually think him giving grogu this choice was the best option. I would like to go real in depth with this analysis, but I'm tired and don't wanna be typing for an hour or two. Basically Anakin lost his mother due to trying to adhere to the order and was too patient. But he still believed in the order, and probably thought that if he was a higher rank he could have left to save her whenever he wanted. So he didn't entirely blame the order yet. Remember, at this point he was angry, not evil. But then for years after, Anakin went above and beyond for the order. But despite everything he did, despite the lengths he went to serve to order, when he needed them most they short changed him... For decades he showed them nothing but faith, just for them to throw him bone with an undertone of mistrust. But at the root of this all, was a kid tied down by the belief that he had to stay for the greater good. There where multiple mistakes the Jedi made with Anakin that I could get into. But the starting root of it all was making him believe he didn't have a choice when he always did. And that's one thing luke is doing better regardless of what he actually intends, is giving grogu a choice. And the reason he used Yoda's lightsaber is because the chainmail represented the path with the madalorian. He needed something in contrast to represent the path of the Jedi.
I have a feeling that Grogu picks the Armor. It will be Luke that takes Grogu back to Tatooine. Luke can visit Ben's home, find some lore/items there. In the depths of conflict on Tatooine, Luke could be sucked into the turf war between Boba & the Pike syndicate (Crimson Dawn) to protect the little one too. Grogu will sense Mando in trouble and rush to save him. From this Grogu will also learn from Luke with Mando learning to use the Dark Saber would be super cool to see Mando and Grogu getting training from Luke.. These events would open so many possibilities for future shows and content. So many directions for the Future of Star Wars. Just my thoughts! P.S. It would be cool to see Luke & Boba interactions from this as well
Booking my prediction: Grogu takes the saber. During his training he has a vision of Mando in trouble, just like Luke seeing Han and Leia in trouble in ESB. Luke takes him to save Mando. Grogu gets shot in the process and it’s revealed he has the beskar mail on ala Frodo.
Grogu can and should make his own lightsaber in future. Find his own crystal. The armor is gift from his father. Doesn't even compar to an old Saber no mater who held it.
How were the Jedi wrong about attachment when attachment is the exact thing that made Anikan vulnerable to and ultimately seduced by the dark side. Anikan's ego coupled with him being so selfish were his personality traits that Palpatine exploits but his attachment to Padme that sealed his fate. After helping Palpatine kill Mace, Anikan says to Sidious 'I will do whatever you ask, just help me save Padme's life, I can't live without her'. This declaration confirms he was/is willing to do anything, ANYTHING, to avoid the suffering resulting from the loss of his mother. It also illustrates how selfish he is. 'I can't live without her', he says. I. None of what he is doing is for Padme or his unborn child (he doesn't know it's twins) but rather to avoid the pain and suffering. He could have left the Jedi Order at anytime and declared his love for Padme. But because he wants everything but is not willing to sacrifice anything, he chooses the path of dishonesty and deception and that path only leads to rhe dark side. Even if the Jedi were allowed to to have open attachments, his fear of loss would remain and if faced with Padme's impending death, he would still do anything including turning the dark side to save himself from the pain and suffering. In the end it's not the Jedi code but rather Anikan's choice to not adhere to the code that is wrong.
Because even when he falls yo the Dark side it's attachment that pulls him back from the Dark side aswell. Not allowing anakin to have those connections openly and being able to go to them and get actual advice is the problem not the attachment themselves..
For now I think Grogu will stay with Luke, even though Mando and the little guy probably miss each other. They know it’s right. I mean even Mando kinda agreed also and left, leaving the gift. But Luke saying stuff like “you’ll probably never see him again”. Grogu’s gonna be like “Hell Naw! That’s my homie! You tripping Luke.”
I wonder if Luke himself is speaking in riddles, in the sense that he offers either one choice or the other but intends on gifting Grogu both anyways. Like the dark side cave scene on Dagobah, he could be gauging where Grogu's heart truly lies
Maybe grogu will choose the lightsaber remembering that his jedi brothas sacrificed themselves to save him in his vision! Then Luke sensing that grogu wants to protect mando when he eventually gets in a life or death situation. Luke would allow grogu to go and rescue mando with Luke accompanying him along the way! Just my opinion 🤷
Groghu has at least 750 years ahead of him (barring an untimely accident) which is enough time to choose the armor first, join the Mandalorians, and then return to Luke and claim his inheritance from Yoda. What a reveal this would be if in a few years he turns out to be Yoda’s son! 😎
I think it doesn’t matter what he chooses. I think Grogu will learn the lesson that you don’t have to be just one thing. This may even be the point of Luke question. He was never a real padawan either. Remember Luke chose to leave Yoda because of his attatchments….. Ashoka left the Jedi order too yet still follows the way of the force. Grogu will end up being the next Tar Visla: both Jedi and mandolorian. After all, Grogu has had more Jedi training than even Luke, he just forgot everything/had his mind wiped or shut off. Grogu will indeed leave but that doesn’t mean he won’t use the force anymore.
Im really excited for the future of Star Wars. I think this is an amazing opportunity to create a new force weapon for grogu like the saber blaster that Ezra carried.
Wait wait wait….How did he find Yodas Lightsaber geez I get so confused 🤣 Did he at one time go back to Coruscant and all of a sudden find it? I guess the moral of the story is a lightsaber is never lost or destroyed lol
Disney made it so confusing cause that’s the exact opposite of what I heard. I thought after he faced Sidious and he lost his saber he escaped and that his lightsaber was recovered by the Empire and was incinerated with the other sabers. And then in the Legends Yoda recovered it and took it with him to Dagobah and had it ever since. So what ur saying is that the legend one is actually a canon?. Cause if that was the case Yoda was really good hiding his lightsaber cause I didn’t even see it on him in revenge of the Sith
@@wolepyro9779 when Yoda got in the car with Senator Bail after fighting Sidious his lightsaber was on his side so he must have picked it up off the floor after the fight.
@@emergencyawesome I know and I can’t wait until tomorrow, it’s gonna be an Awesome final episode. It’s the Star Wars music that does it for me in episode 6. (Luke theme)
Getting to see a full episode or small parts over a season of Grogu building a Saber would be a treat. Fully exploring the idea and finding a kiber crystal on a far off planet. Would be super fun.
I think, Mando's going to come back to get Grogu at Luke's request after he chooses the armor. Then Mando asks Luke to teach him how to use the Dark Saber, and it's a training moment for LUKE, because he'll then see how a Mandolorian can learn things from Jedi and the Jedi can learn things from the Mandolorians, and that it's okay for Grogu to choose both paths.
Yes I like that idea that would wk best bc the mandaloria can learn how to properly yield a light Saber from Luke who is one of the best at that to help him understand and the art of fighting with a light Saber and help him to keep the dark Saber possible for Mando to become the leader of his ppl the madilorian bc I think he would be the best leader for them . And it would like y said give Luke a chance to see the madilorians as a equal race to himself as far a warriors bc sometime I think Luke is a bit stuck up and would it be funny if Mando beat him to so Luke learning from Mando and Mando learning from Luke both learning something would Strength both and possable be the beging of forging a friendship between them which would in return help gurou to be safe and to have more ppl to care and to keep him safe and teach him
I honestly had the feeling that Grogu was going to stay. Reason being that mando cares for him enough to let him train and he didn't interrupt that. So it seemed like it was time for Grogu to reciprocate those feelings and choose on his own to continue training.
I have a feeling that Grogu will actually become the new Mandolore, leader of the Mandalorians. After someone wins the dark saber from Mando. Then, Grogu will avenge Mando and have the support of the Armorer and Bo-Katan.
I think Filioni may be setting up a future adult Grogu series set 100+ years in the future with all new characters with Grogu eventually becoming the new Mandalore.
A question: Since names in Star Wars can sometimes be hints, if the word 'grogu' means 'yellow' in Corsican (as Google translate says) could it be possible that one day Grogu might wield a yellow light saber? He would have plenty of time to walk both paths, Mandalorian and Jedi, warrior and teacher.
Luke said paraphrasing. a lifetime in no time for you." "the kid' is no mere toddler, he was around Jedi. He'll decide to devote some time w/Mando getting his "memories" back. he still may train, but Grogru will not be Luke's first pupil
@@kumachan9311 anyway my point is this. You kinda need both literally and thematically. So we might be seeing a new Mandalorian Jedi in the making in Grogu.

SO TRUE, jesus christ that's smart. Had me on my a$$ thinking about that for second
Adding to his failure, fear, then suffering,
The same thing will happen to grogu if anything happens to din
It was very common in legends/George Lucas' original canon but when disney bought Lucas Films they changed that so that they could make their shitty sequel trilogy which im pretty sure was made non canon too because how terrible it was
I just feel he will choose both, it is all about balance, he could be both mandalorian and padawan.
That would be fucking sick what if he trains with Luke and mando takes him here and there on adventures (:
A Mandawan or a Padalorian :D
@@P3G4SUZ I think that’s what the writer was thinking they are gonna do something completely diffrent i feel and hope so
There that line a out the guy who studied Mando and Jedi
If that's the case, he could potentially be the next wielder of the Darksaber.
That was a great interpretation
yeah that makes sense, too bad disney is in charge.
The Jedi never forced anyone to stay. Like, people could leave the order.
Yeah kermit er grogu might meet a pig he really loves someday.?
The old Jedi would reject teaching Grogu, sorry. Grogu is too old and has too many experiences at this point. Same problem as Anakin.
I believe Grogu will be The Next Mandalorian-Jedi Hybrid. Prophecy Fulfilled.
Always believed since the sith had an origin species, the yoda species would be that Jedi version and therefore grogu is best suited to be both as he’s light side dominant.

Yes, and I think he will get the Dark saber.

This comment, I have liked.
"A short time for you is a life time for everyone else."
Luke hinted to him it would take years for him to master the force, that if he would choose that path he would never see the Mandalorian again. This was a good piece of information that basically invites him to go on his holiday/adventures with Mando before committing his life to the Jedi ways.
Yoda lived to 900 years. Only a small fraction of that was dedicated to the ways of the Jedi. The other portion remains unknown to lore.
Idk if I’m wrong or not, but didn’t yoda say he’s trained Jedi for 800 years in the empire strikes back?
What Luke means is that if he goes with Mando, by the time Grogu leaves Mando because of his death due to age or injury, Luke might be dead as well. And Grogu will still be a child then.
Yeah Luke was obviously referring to how it would take Grogu a couple hundred years to master the force and going with Mando would make little sense since it will be an incredibly short time for Grogu but gave him the choice regardless.
I think it's already set up for Grogu to join Mando and be in the "Razor Crest 2.0" droid spot.
I can imagine Master Grogu guiding the razor crest using the force as a navigator similar to what Admiral Thrawn did.

I think when Grogu chooses the armour it will affirm Luke's instincts and Luke will give him the Lightsaber as well, allowing him to be on his way.
exactly, he knows Grogu's heart isn't in it so he gave him the "out" he needed to reunited with his family, Mando.
Yes, and Luke says something to Grocu. He said that a short time for Grocu can be a very long time for someone else, or something similar. Maybe because he knows that Grocu can spend all the life of Din with him and then he can decide to go back to the Jedi. It's a possibility to me
I think Grogu will be like the first Jedi who made the dark Saber.

There was indeed a Mandalorian Jedi a long time ago who went by the name Tarre Vizla. He was well known for creating the Darksaber.
This is my hope, as well!

Rather see this type of trilogy then that last crap.
Baby Yoda will end up doing the same thing as Luke did. He will choose Mando (as Luke chose his friends), help Mando on his adventure, and eventually return to his former master. It's poetic. I'm into it
@NbAlIvEr100 i said what i said. 😁
For what it is worth, I believe that the choices between 'the way' of Mandaloins and Jedi philosophy is obvious in the type of military hardware that defines them; the lightsaber is a weapon of offence as well as defence, while Beskar armour is only defensive (The Armourer made the same point regarding the Beskar spear In the previous episode).
There's nothing can connect people together like having the same experience
Yeah I loved how in seasons one and two, both Grogu and Mando were hidden in enclosures with two halves/doors and both were almost killed by droids yet both saved by Mandalorians.
I think the choice between 2 is a test, Luke wants to see if Grogu will hold on to his attachments and see if they make him more balanced. Luke only defeated the empire through attachment to his father, leia, han and so on, so maybe this is his way of building the new jedi
Kylo Ren has been more attached to power than the attachment to Leia & Han Solo. So, that's that
in the Legends canon Luke changes a lot of the Jedi's teachings regarding attachments, including families, jobs, possessions and even love, creating a new generation of Jedi who are arguably more relatable to the public and grow in their own way. Ironically his best student was Kyle Katarn, a man with very few of all of those traits.
Luke himself is learning to be a Jedi Master, so he is not the Yoda in this relationship but more like Obi-Wan when he was with Qui-Gonn Jin
@@SantomPh That teaching also created Darth Caedus
@@SantomPh Yes.Luke is supposed to be the new Jedi paradigm that replaces the old ways. That’s why I’m confused about Luke being against attachment in canon, which is really lame.

Freaking awesome
Get him a little helmet, with ear cut outs. That would low key be cute af.
For someone whom left his master to help his friends, I think Luke would understand Grogu's choice
Luke pointed out his age because he knows Grogu can live a 1000 years while the Mandalorian has at most another 70 give or take. So he has time to stay with him and come back to resume his training as a Jedi.
That's just it, he does understand, and Luke doesn't want to force Grogu down any path. He wants him to choose. There are no wrong choices in this.

I go with that 💯
It's a test of which side Grogu leans to, the choices are opposing, either an offensive or defensive armament.
Factssss
for sure
Quite accurate
Not that it was not allowed just this is what that choice will mean.
exactly ..
Grogu is going to be in star wars for the next 10 years at least. His lifespan is literally a millenia.
In referring directly to Grogu’s long lifespan Luke was pretty explicit about that. Only the hard of hearing and the terminally stupid could have misunderstood.
Agreed…
I'd like to see Grogu use both Yoda's lightsaber and Din's gift armour.
so do I, and I also hope that grogu will get yoda's green lightsaber, after Luke skywalker trains din Djarin, and grogu.
He's gotta leave Luke, Luke did the same to Yoda. It's poetry.
Yes but when Luke left Yoda, his training was complete and Yoda passed away. Grogu isn't fully trained and leaving now would be akin to rejecting the Jedi way.
@@GSP-76 no. When Luke for the first time, Yoda is still alive.
@@toyloonatic ? I'm not a huge Star Wars fan..Luke left Yoda? Left as in he rejected Yoda and left?
@@GSP-76 Grogu was trained by Masters like Yoda and Mace Windu for much longer than Luke was trained by Yoda.
I like this “side step” of the sequels. Just tell your story now, then fast forward well past that time and have grogu lead a new order. Love it
Yeah I love it too. Kid’s got 800 years of possibilities.
That would definitely sidestep the sequels for sure! 🤞
Disney doesn't even have to release new massive budget movies to achieve this either. They could do a smaller budget straight to Disney plus movie(s) to give the fans what they want. If it gets a ton of views/rental, make it cannon and move on.
Its sad though. This story could've been luke forming the new jedi order that learnt from its past mistakes. Instead the films ruined that.
I believe Grogu will become "the mandalore," and use the dark saber.
Nice theory!
One day!
Yup, the title has been very carefully chosen lol. Mando can be anyone, not just Din Djarin.
I've been calling this myself for ages. Glad I'm not the only one thinking this. 🤣
Like at the end of mando season 3 he’ll return to him or something idk
You had me at Luke & Grogu show
This highly unlikely
I agree. I also think the kyber crystal in Yoda's saber may call out to Grogu.
Perhaps this was how Luke finally realised the "Hypocrisy of the Jedi".
Many Jedi were hypocrites, but not all of them, not by a long shot. For example Plo Koon, Obi Wan, Qui Gon, Ashoka, Aayla Secura, etc
WTF
Luke is an idiot here.
You know that will mean Grogu will have to defeat Din Djarin in combat in order to obtain the dark saber? You really see that happening?
@@Sean-gi5vs and he will become part of the dark side
If he chooses the lightsaber, and assuming the sequel trilogy is still canon, they he is dead by that time, and I don't see them going that route.
It's have him quit or kill off the franchise's most popular character while he is still a child. They won't do that. He has to choose the armor.
I can’t see them showing all this and him just staying
@@Sean-gi5vs - No he wouldn't Din Djarin will be dead by the time Grogu becomes an adult. He's 50 now.
Beautiful. Do you ever catch the Zatoichi references?
Watching this cute little yoda tearing things apart with the force is the greatest thing Star Wars has ever done. Imagine if they hadn’t actually used a puppet. Jon Favreau is incredible
Go back to watching kittens on tik tok
I was really hoping Grogu would have held out both hands and force grabbed both things and been like "I don't think so, you don't give me an ultimatum, Skywalker".😂
I literally said he force grabs both to someone today lol
I support that action, but not in those words. It sounded more like Sidious than Grogu’s.. 😹
Emergency Awesome by going this route it does kinda does “side step” so All in all I hope Star Wars continues to go in this new direction! Thanks Charlie! Always appreciate you!
you do know the sequel events would still take place but grogu would be elsewhere
He already got training Luke is just helping him remember his training.
He's definitely going to leave, you have to understand how stories work.
Did you not pick up on when they were training and Luke said “it seems like he’s just remembering everything” Grogus 50 years old he’s already had a decent amount of training he just locked it away because of the memories it gave him like the order 66 flashback
Well look who was wrong.
yep, I feel the whole purpose of Grogu's creation as a character is to help guide the Jedi order to a more whole and grounded one.
Yet Grogu also has his own destiny to discover which im sure the force itself will have a hand in help guiding to what he's true potential and path is.
l think he just wants to be a kid again, alongside daddy mando
The key is the Dark Saber; where it came from and who originally wielded it. It will come back around to it. There is a reason so much was revealed about the sword in the middle of a Boba Fett series. Grogu will carry it and bring the story of the sword nearly full circle.
Agreed, Grogu will be the one to carry the Dark Saber.
Absolutely love that idea!!!!
Eh I doubt anybody would take Grogu seriously considering he's a baby
@Druss In human years yes but for his species he's still a baby physically
@@shaylus_4158 ... and mentality wise. Thinks more as a child than as a mature adult. Good point btw.
Yep. Once grogu gets older and grows more, he'll weild it
"You are no longer a Mandalorian." Yes, he is no longer a Mandalorian....He is the Mandalore.
He's definitely gonna choose the armour. I think he'll start a new order with the beliefs of both the Jedi and mandos!
You just can’t be mad at the little dude for doing what children do, he may be 50 years old but to his kind that’s like the blink of an eye. ;p
Grogu: Gimme the chainmail, dude. I'll buy a lightsaber down the street. Later.
He might leave now but if the Mandalorian needs darksabre training I would see him going to Luke Skywalker for help and in that process Grogu could construct his own
Interesting theory. Why do you think Luke would help him?
It was probably tucked away somewhere in his mud hut.
Palpatine definitely would have found it after their fight (probably just looking for Yoda's body), and Palpatine is definitely the type to collect things for his own instead of destroy them so it was definitely tucked away somewhere. Luke probably found it on Coruscant after the rebels took over.
The attachment of Anakin Skywalker to his son was the only reason for the fall of The Empire.
I guess Qui-Gon was right about him.
I think it is very likely that Grogu will choose the armor and reunite with Mando. However I think at some point Mando will lose the dark saber in the future, and Grogu will eventually try to claim it to become the next Mandalorian Jedi. Then in the future (however many hundreds of years) he will be able to restart a Jedi order and a new trilogy can be formed around that
And then grogu will have Yoda's green lightsaber in the mandalorian season 3.
Thank you for this analysis. I'm new to Star Wars. But Grogu into this story. Now I want to learn more about it.
I believe Grogu is going to become one of the biggest Star Wars characters of ALL TIME.
He kind of already is. I don't really care about Star Wars but I love Grogu and he is the first character I bought merchandise of.
Thats nice!
I think he takes the armor
Grogu can and should make his own lightsaber in future. Find his own crystal. The armor is gift from his father. Doesn't even compar to an old Saber no mater who held it.
Loved this episode! I definetly have rewatch it! One of my favorite Star Wars episodes yet!
That’s what I was thinking. Hopefully he gets both.
This is the way.
@@Scumbag_Scott Pointing out Grogus lifespan was a big indicator to make him aware that he can return at a later point to resume his training.
I could see Grogu following Tarre Viszla's path and becoming the next Mandalorian Jedi.
(one could only hope)
When Luke was running with grogu on his back. Did anyone else think of the seagulls video? 🤣
Grogu unlocking his memories as a Padawan is very Cal Kestis development
Im really excited for the future of Star Wars. I think this is an amazing opportunity to create a new force weapon for grogu like the saber blaster that Ezra carried.
Wait wait wait….How did he find Yodas Lightsaber geez I get so confused 🤣 Did he at one time go back to Coruscant and all of a sudden find it? I guess the moral of the story is a lightsaber is never lost or destroyed lol
Yoda took it with him after fighting Sidious. He fell next to the saber that had fallen previously. Then Luke took it when Yoda died.

Getting to see a full episode or small parts over a season of Grogu building a Saber would be a treat. Fully exploring the idea and finding a kiber crystal on a far off planet. Would be super fun.
I really hope that sometime in the future, we see Rey and grogu cross paths and create a new Jedi order. That would be sweet
I hope that grogu will have yoda's green lightsaber in the mandalorian season 3 after Luke Skywalker trains din Dearing and grogu.
I hope we don’t see Rey again
Luke: it will take you years to master the ways of the force
Rey: hold my lightsaber
I think, Mando's going to come back to get Grogu at Luke's request after he chooses the armor. Then Mando asks Luke to teach him how to use the Dark Saber, and it's a training moment for LUKE, because he'll then see how a Mandolorian can learn things from Jedi and the Jedi can learn things from the Mandolorians, and that it's okay for Grogu to choose both paths.
Or grogu is under threat and Mando unleashes dark sabre violence through pure emotional force...
And it would like y said give Luke a chance to see the madilorians as a equal race to himself as far a warriors bc sometime I think Luke is a bit stuck up and would it be funny if Mando beat him to so Luke learning from Mando and Mando learning from Luke both learning something would Strength both and possable be the beging of forging a friendship between them which would in return help gurou to be safe and to have more ppl to care and to keep him safe and teach him
I’m thinking Luke will return Grogu, and they will help in the Pike Battle.
I honestly had the feeling that Grogu was going to stay. Reason being that mando cares for him enough to let him train and he didn't interrupt that. So it seemed like it was time for Grogu to reciprocate those feelings and choose on his own to continue training.
also money the plushies and merch disney could make
@@xMckingwill Grogu in chain mail won't sell but Grogu with a lightsaber. Oh man would that make bucks.
I agree. It feels like the entire S2 Mando was for nought if he just returns to Din...
A question:
Since names in Star Wars can sometimes be hints,
if the word 'grogu' means 'yellow' in Corsican (as Google translate says)
could it be possible that one day Grogu might wield a yellow light saber?
He would have plenty of time to walk both paths,
Mandalorian and Jedi, warrior and teacher.
Ya see me sittin on that throne?
That's right. Now you know.
Luke said paraphrasing. a lifetime in no time for you." "the kid' is no mere toddler, he was around Jedi. He'll decide to devote some time w/Mando getting his "memories" back. he still may train, but Grogru will not be Luke's first pupil
Anyone notice how the Mandalorian chain mail is for defence and the Lightsaber is for offence?
Yeah thats usually how armor and swords work
@@kalebtlt1630 I think the point is, you need both
@@kumachan9311 well yes, of course
similar to ultra ego and ultra instinct . one is offensive and one is defensive.
@@kumachan9311 anyway my point is this. You kinda need both literally and thematically. So we might be seeing a new Mandalorian Jedi in the making in Grogu.
I want grogu to go the mando way with the little training of the Force. It'd be so cool to see a Mando with Force powers.
I doubt he'll form a new Jedi order... I think he's going be trained in the way of the mandalorian's. Mando is effectively his pops now... He's a foundling, just like Mando was. 💪🏾
After that, all I want to see is Grogu swinging around a lightsaber with the force.
