The Legend Willie has been writing hits that other people sang since he was 16 years old. He's got a tour coming up and he's 90🔥💞🙏
Willie Nelson "Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain"
My parents split up when I was 12. Never understood why. I always saw love between them. But I was 12, so what did I know about love. They decided to reconcile and decided to go out on dates. My dad took my mom to a Willie concert. When Willie sang this, he told my mom....I always think of you when I hear this. They got back together, and 6 months later, my dad passed suddenly at the age of 40. My mom had this song played at his funeral. She never remarried. She said your dad was the love of my life ❤ I always love hearing this song ❤
This sounds a lot like my parents. They had a lot of problems when I was a kid, but they never split up. My dad bought this record for my mom and it became their song. Things got good again for my family, then my dad died in a work accident when he was 38 years old. My mom never remarried either. She’s 80 now. This song always makes me think of them. It makes me sad that they didn’t get to have more good times together.
@poguemom3 I'm so very sorry for your loss ❤️ Obviously I know EXACTLY how you feel and how you felt watching this reaction 😢 My parents loved each other very much. Now that I'm grown and understand, I can see how the last 6 months of their marriage made them stronger. I feel God had a plan Obviously 🙏
My mother passed 3 years ago. I miss her EVERY SINGLE DAY. But I know she's with the love of her life. He was "Always on her mind" ❤️
Om gosh what a beautiful, poignant story and memory for you to cherish!
(Asia - you have a cold, cold. Heart ! just kidding.) Hea got it rigjt..
I’m so sorry sweetie. I lost my dad too and i don’t think I’ll ever get over it. Just remember the love 💕
Such a classic Willie Nelson song - makes me very emotional🍂 Sweet and honest. Thanks so much guys for reacting to this special tune.💞
Willie Nelson also sang a beautiful duet with Julio Eglasius (sp?) from 1984 called "To All The Girls I've Loved Before"
I remember the running joke in those days was that Julio Iglesias would sing a duet with ANYBODY. I think it was our local country music station that ran a spoof ad for an album by Julio Iglesias and the Chipmunks.
I’m just a grandma but, the looks of realization that crossed both of your faces with the opening stanza … 🤭 I love and adore the both of you! Wishing you such rich and beautiful futures! 😘
Willie is a true American legend. Great reaction!🤓🤠
Elvis also recorded this song in 1972. It was written by Wayne Carson, Mark James and Johnny Christopher. Willie recorded this in 1982
my very favorite Willie Nelson song.
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain by Willie is a must listen as is Seven Spanish Angels by Willie and Ray Charles!
Legendary! ❤❤❤
Always on mind is absolutely beautiful song. ❤❤❤
Hello ya'll should watch these 2 movies with Willie Nelson in it. Barbarosa with costar a young Gary Bussey and also Electric Horseman with the great Robert Redford. With Willie's music in the movies.
I highly recommend Willie Nelson and Ray Charles singing "Seven Spanish angels"
also Willie is a beautiful guitar player.
Willie Nelson is 90 years old and can still outsmoke Snoop...lol
If I'm not mistaken I think Snoop quit smoking or he is going to after the first of the year. Somebody gonna be poor
No Snoop was doing an add for smokeless fireplace. Willie has COPD so he gave up cigarettes and weed
Have you ever heard "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again"?
Willie and Tobey Keith
Actually due to really bad COPD, Willie is no longer able to smoke pot. He does eat edibles daily though.
Willie Nelson and George Strait are our state treasures. You can't go wrong with Willie. This was written by Wayne Carson, Johnny Christopher and Mark James. First recorded by Brenda Lee in 1972. Willie recorded it in 1982. Willie was in "Red-Headed Stranger" and it definitely was not a comedy. Check out the song "Red-Headed Stranger". I have socks older than both y'all.
Gwen McCrae was first. Brenda 2nd. Elvis 3rd. John Wesley Ryles 4th. Willie 5th.
Geez. Throw those socks out. I kid i kid.
Willie is the America I aspire to be. Honeysuckle Rose is a fun movie that he stars in. Willie and Dolly share the gift of songwriting. We are all so blessed to have them
❤Willie Nelson❤ awww I grew up listening to this legend!!! Memories of my Dad💯❤️🫂🥹 Loveeeee Forever!!!❤❤
Asia come on now you have to remember in the time this was written men really! didn't share their feelings at all I mean some of us still don't, but it was different back then still a beautiful song.
A couple of other songs to listen to one is “Pancho and Lefty” and the other is by Toby Keith “I will never smoke weed with Willie again “.
Many thanks for your reaction Asia and BJ. Willie Nelson is a living legend. So many have covered this great song. If you need to have a cover hit you in the feels, then please check out Angelina Jordan's version but bring your tissues. Asia and BJ have reacted to Angelina dozens of times and I highly recommend those reactions. I invite Asia and BJ to react to Angelina's "Old Enough" EP with 6 original songs and her latest new original single "Our Time". Just two days ago, she dropped a 5 song Christmas EP, "Driving Home for Christmas". Angelina remains the greatest, relatively unknown, musical artist and will turn 18 years old on January 10th. Her family has been consistent about Republic Records not promoting her until she is old enough to make all the important decisions for herself. She is the singing voice for the 2026 World Cup.
Legendary
This brings tears to my heart, I should have never left her (2000) and now after 24(2024) years, she is still in my mind.
And before Willie was the ELVIS version!! Both are AWESOME!!
Willie has been so good for so long. Creating music for others to sing, and then he's such a great performer. I don't know how you classify Willie. He's so huge and talented and helped so many artists. Man, what a great person!
Willie and this is timeless. Fantasia's cover of this song is 🔥 too
Your reaction is so funny. Also love Willie and this song. It's one of my karaoke favorites.
I am always here for Mr. Nelson.❤
Willie turned 90 this year and is still singing
He wrote his music and sold some to other artist's
NOBODY and I mean NOBODY can sing this better than Willie...he friggen OWNS it !!!!!!!!!!!
He is why you don't judge a person by the way they look. Willy has wrote some of the most beautiful love songs. And this is one.
This was my parents song. My dad passed in ‘87 when I was 13 years old. Every time I hear this song, I think of him and how he bought this record for my mom.
Red Headed Stranger. Willie stars opposite Morgan Fairchild in a western where he is a preacher and she is his wife.
Check out Willie Nelson's - Angel Flying too close to the Ground
Blue Eyes Crying in the Rain is another good one.
Love Willie Nelson !
Willie Nelson has been in The Duke's of Hazard movie, and ine of my favorites he was un was Honeysuckle Rose ❤❤❤❤
feels like butterfly kisses. ❤
This is one of the best love songs lyrically that has ever been written. Tear jerker, never gets old.
Such a beautiful song and sentiment ❤😊
Is this really only three days ago? It's so nice too know you two are still here. Merry Christmas
This is my fav Willie song...
The legend himself.
Asia, if you want to really get into Willie Nelson and know his music, you should listen to the album "Red Headed Stranger" all the way through. It tells a story and is so good. I had heard of him, maybe knew of a song or two and then my boyfriend, now husband, had me listen to that album. From that moment on ... I was a due-hard Willie fan ... I just love him. Try listening to and see if you don't have the same reaction. Thank you for doing this song. God bless you.
Asia: You would probably also like Angel Flying Too Close To The Ground by him, too! LOVE ME SOME WILLIE!!
This is the most beautiful expression in words and melody of the classic, "you don't realize what you had until it's gone". Yes Asia this is self induced tragedy however, depending on the circumstance ... maybe always on the road (musician, veteran, politician etc.). If it is just plain neglect I agree with you Asia. Great song though !!!
I used Willie Nelson version of this song when he sang it with The Highway Men as the coffin of my ex-husband was being lowered. After he died, someone told me that he always talked about me very nicely to whoever he met even though we were divorced. I honoured that with this song. RIP Derek.
I wonder what “Trigger” Willie’s guitar would go for in an auction $500 dollar guitar from 1969 . That guitar today by regular Joe would typically sell for between $5,000 and $15,000 but considering the signatures of other singers and hits he has put out on that guitar in 55 years
Y'all are my favorite reaction!
What a gem 💙
3:39 you all should listen to “I’ll never smoke weed with Willie again” by Toby Keith! Great and funny song! 🤣🤣🤣
For me, this song reminds me of my best friend, who passed away 6 years ago. This was our favorite song, and every time I hear it,it makes me think of her. Rest in peace,Enga. I still love this song, and I miss you whenever I hear it.
I think it's cool you guys shared this. Willie was a song writer long before a hippy looking pot head and y'all probably don't realize how many songs he wrote for other artists even before he went on his own singing career. Picture Elvis singing this song, bc he did. The pot is funny, but Willie has contributed so much to music and doesn't get enough credit :)
Love your channel 😊
Thank you so much!
Willie Nelson’s blue eyes crying in the rain is another great song.
❤ blue eyes crying in the rain
Still my all time favorite Willie song . The video of just him and a guitar ❤🔥
Still here yall love from Wisconsin 😊
He starred in Honeysuckle Rose. and it was based on his real life. Also Red Headed Stranger, and Barbarosa
I loved this song when Elvis sang it - rumors had it he recorded it with Priscilla in mind after they divorced. Years later, when Willie Nelson sang it, I thought it would pale in comparison, but I love it just as much as Elvis's version. And given I'm such a big Elvis fan, that's sayin' something.
He wrote this song as an apology to his favorite hound dog, named lucille. His dog would get so lonely and sad when willie would go on tour.
Many people have released this one & the original guy wrote it because, talking to his wife, missing each other, while touring on the road, 'she was always on his mind'. Willie released it on an album of the same name which was #1 country album 1982. It stayed on the Billboard top country album for 253 weeks. My favorites by him is 'Angel flying too close to the ground' & 'Blue eyes crying in the rain. He has a great song with Toby Keith It's fun & the video is like a mini movie. 'Beer for my horses'. Wach it! So fun.
The only thing I can honestly say, I will never smoke with Willie again is perfect for you too.
Country music royalty. He has had so many awesome songs over his storied career.
Y’all need to go one of his shows…knock your socks off! RnR granny GiGi🇺🇸🎄
I agree 100 percent with Asia. No second chance.
I'm with you, Asia. Too much, too little, too late!
This song, along with 'Remember When' by Alan Jackson are the 2 best country songs ever!
Love this, seems so natural & genuine. 🙌🏻
Willie was also in a movie called Coming Out Of The Cold, I believe. It was about someone escaping from a Russian gulag in Siberia. Even though he was not the star in this movie he was excellent! I just joined your channel. U guys are great! Thank you for reviewing this song.
Love bj's t-shirt !
I first heard this by Elvis and ever since I think of Elvis and Priscilla
High five Asia..
Gave 100% once..
Thats all ya get..
one chance..❤
#BUHBYE 🥾
This was probably Willie's best-selling song of all time. There was a time when it filled up the airwaves on country stations, pop stations and blues stations alike. Since you guys brought it up, you ought to check out the Toby Keith, Scott Emrick song, "I'll Never Smoke Weed With Willie Again." They wrote it for Willie and sang it at a concert marking his 70th birthday. I think you'll get a kick out of it.
Mamma don’t let your babies grow up to be Cowboys and My Heroes have always been cowboys are two more I’d love to see you cover. Always on my mind is beautiful
LOL... Moma Don't let Your Baby's Grow Up to Be Cowboys...another great Willy N. Song... Hugs Y'all~ Look'n Good
If this song doesn't melt Asia's heart??? Watch your step Bj, because he's a Legend. And while I don't know what you'd bring to the table, I'd doubt you'd have anything this GOOD. So just saying. Lol
TEXAS LEGEND
If you don't play this for your spouse -- you really need to. If I could sing, I would sing it to my wife every day.
he was in Gone fishin movie with Joe pesic and Danny Glover. He had a small part at the end.
You two make me laugh, Come on Asia give poor BJ a chance. You were always on his mind you know
This is the best version by far, I loved when he sang it in the movie Honeysuckle Rose. it was the first song my ex and I danced to the night we met.
Oh yes, the original, such a legend. Good one. Pet Shop Boys did a remake.
Awesome.
His movie "The Redheaded Stranger" was a good movie.
Such a classic. Pet Shop Boys have a version of this that's epic. It's a little faster 🤪🤗🥰
I'm surprised you never heard of Anne Murray and Kenny Rogers to they where huge country stars back then.
If yall are lovin this "Sweet Willie" song... got 2 more MUST HEAR song for you. "I'
d Have to be Crazy" and "Hands on the Wheel"! I think of his 2 best Love Songs! Love to know what yall think? ✌🥴
Übersetzen
the song in the original version of 1972 was by Elvis Preslay. the country version from Willie Nelson in 1982
Love it!
Elvis did a great cover to this song too.
Blue Eyes Crying In The Rain might be his best solo song but Seven Spanish Angels by Willie and his pal Ray Charles is absolute fire
The king also sangs this song
He did duets with Ray Charles and Merle Haggard.
This was a classic love lost song
A perfect example of too little, too late to save the relationship
He was in a episode of Monk. So was Snoop dog.
I hope you read my message about people posing as reaction hosts and offering a giveaway. They are asking for personal information. Be aware!!
Watch his song BEER FOR MY HORSES with Toby Keith
There’s to this song by Elvis too. Elvis and Priscilla got a divorce in the end, but always stayed close, and the video (at least the one I watched) had pictures and movie clips of them two throughout the yrs. You’ll have to look it up - Asia will like it 🩵
Would love to hear you react to Miranda Lambert's Baggage Claim or Little Red Wagon.
❤❤❤❤❤
