    Great video, great tips. Thank you!
    Also, did the audio sync mess up around the 4:20 mark? It seemed off to me.

    Thank you bro, I am from Russia, your channel exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to visit tailor every time when i need minor or not minor adjustments. Please make a video how to tailor a shirt using original double lap seam.
    Can you show it on a real shirt, including tailoring a part of a sleeve - my tailor always did it, but it is challenge for me to repeat.

    Hey. I really enjoy your videos. Your energy is perfect. You inspired me to tailor my own clothes. Recently did a sweater. Came out great.
    I'm struggling with tapering pants though. They always pinch at the pocket and crotch! Help! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

    For those tough seam I got the ‘quick ripper’ which is just a dedicated mini hair clipper that eats the toughest double and triple line stitching. It seems gimmicky until it saves you an hour of picking at a dumb mistake. They are on Amazon for cheap.

    I can not find a video we’re you show how to let out a suit jacket. Everyones video I’ve looked at does not touch on letting a suit out. My button is tight and I want it to feel right.

    Seam rippers worst nightmare.. Back stitches that's the exact same color as the fabric -_-)

  • @PhoneGuruXDA

    That's not a chain stitch. It's known as a triple straight stitch or straight stretch stitch. A chain stitch is actually really easy to open and needs a chain stitch machine to make.

    • @StylishDTailors
      @StylishDTailors  2 года назад +1

      I triple straight stitch is actually a bit different than the chain stitch. It goes forward and then backwards twice, then forward again, and repeat.
      The chain stitch goes forward forward back, forward forward back. Similar but different, the triple straight stitch is good for stretchy materials whereas the chain stitch isn't so much.
