D, it's always great to hear from you. And you can't imagine how many of my tee's I've taken in! Deuces!
That is awesome! Love to hear that!
I live in Mayaguez Puerto Rico 🇵🇷 and found your videos a great treasure
So glad! Definitely give all of this a shot if you haven't yet!
Thank you bro, I am from Russia, your channel exactly what I was looking for. I did not want to visit tailor every time when i need minor or not minor adjustments. Please make a video how to tailor a shirt using original double lap seam.
Can you show it on a real shirt, including tailoring a part of a sleeve - my tailor always did it, but it is challenge for me to repeat.
Great video, great tips. Thank you!
Also, did the audio sync mess up around the 4:20 mark? It seemed off to me.
I experienced the same, but kept watching :)
It did :(
The best of you channel is that you keep it simple, good video
I appreciate that!
And Nigeria!
It's been a fun journey with you D!
Great stuff! Funny, engaging, and I learned something! Cool!
Thanks Brian! Hope all is well! Haven't made any Mac and cheese lately...that sounds really good!
You make sewing fun and lively mate! Love you're style, I'm in on subscribe 🙋♂🙋♂ look forward to seeing more. Greetings from North Wales UK. 😉😉
Welcome aboard! Have fun with the tailoring addiction...
Thank you so much for these videos. I love the humor in it which makes it not boring to watch. My confidence definitely has improved. THANK YOU
You are so welcome!
Love your videos,watching from Australia.
Awesome! Thank you!
Hey. I really enjoy your videos. Your energy is perfect. You inspired me to tailor my own clothes. Recently did a sweater. Came out great.
I'm struggling with tapering pants though. They always pinch at the pocket and crotch! Help! Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks
Great video, D. Watching from Panama
Awesome! Thank you!
For those tough seam I got the ‘quick ripper’ which is just a dedicated mini hair clipper that eats the toughest double and triple line stitching. It seems gimmicky until it saves you an hour of picking at a dumb mistake. They are on Amazon for cheap.
Umm I'm absolutely going to look into this!! Thank you!
This channel shreds.
I’m going to sew on a button on a used jacket I just bought..just wanted to let you know that. Thanks bud
I vote D for a Masterclass from square 1. Covering equipment, set up, basic stuff, then advanced items
There's a course that I put together in the description where I cover all of that actually!
Literally going through your videos right now as I seam rip my pants 🤣
Great tips, thanks =)
Glad it was helpful!
I can not find a video we’re you show how to let out a suit jacket. Everyones video I’ve looked at does not touch on letting a suit out. My button is tight and I want it to feel right.
True I haven't done one, might have to do that...
Anna 💝👍
I never cut the extra fabric 🤫🤫. Just in case I gain some weight.
Hey, can't say that's a bad idea!
I would watch an entire SD playlist of financial advice... and life advice
I dunno...you say that now haha!
YNAB user here. It changed my life too! 👍🏾
So awesome to hear! I LOVE that app, there is a learning curve but holy smokes once you get it down it's amazing!
I learned something here, I had no idea about these tricks.... Audio sync is out mid video, no big deal... mistakes happen, just like sewing.
Story of my life haha! Good catch!
"That aged like milk..." 🤣🤣
Disappointed that I took 2 years of sewing class in highschool and didn't learn about the chain stitch
Sewing, Learning and Laughing in Barbados🌟.
I am a woman but want to tailor for my husband and you're pretty funny!
You can do it!
Seam rippers worst nightmare.. Back stitches that's the exact same color as the fabric -_-)
My God that sounds awful...
That's not a chain stitch. It's known as a triple straight stitch or straight stretch stitch. A chain stitch is actually really easy to open and needs a chain stitch machine to make.
I triple straight stitch is actually a bit different than the chain stitch. It goes forward and then backwards twice, then forward again, and repeat.
The chain stitch goes forward forward back, forward forward back. Similar but different, the triple straight stitch is good for stretchy materials whereas the chain stitch isn't so much.
Hey can you tell me a ninja technique how to hack a youtube channel named stylish D 🧐😏
Start by having him share his password, I bet its something stupid like superman1!
