Evans Lake and Maloney Ridge Lookout (Short Outdoor Escapes)

The trail to Evans Lake is just over 1/4 mile one-way and relatively flat and well maintained. It is the perfect trail for kids and those who don't enjoy longer, difficult journeys. The lake is quiet and calm with no dramatic views, but pretty none-the-less.
After our short walk to Evans Lake, we continued driving up the gravel road to Maloney Ridge where there is a short walk to a great view of the Skykomish valley.
