Thanks for posting this. We’ll be riding here Saturday fo the first time…getting out of Seattle to attempt our longest ride.

Since this video was made they have added the Bayview trail that splits off the Centennial right next to the Hwy 9 bridge and goes into Marysville.
The Whitehorse trail has still never quite opened with the landslide being the most expensive repair near the Centennial end, and a smaller landslide near the Darrington end.
They have announced extending the south end of the trail another 12 miles to intersect with the Samammish River Trail but it will take ten years

Bummer - I thought they were getting really close to opening the end of Whitehorse that connects with the Centennial. I haven't gone in as far as the landslide there, so the biggest challenge I saw were all the blackberry vines. I did see the landslide on the Darrington side and if it's the same one that I saw it is navigable. It will be great when the whole thing is finally open.
Thanks for watching, and thanks for the update!!

I did this exact ride in September 2022, amazing route and Nutty's Junkyard grill was an awesome pitstop! I grabbed a burger and a shake, definitely worth a visit!

It's truly a great ride - even if you only have time for part of it, it's such a great option. So nice to have that dedicated trail and great scenery!

Thank you for sharing I went today but just for a light walk I was wondering how many hours I will make if I start from the point you show at the second enter on my bicycle all the way to Arlington.

Hi! Thank you for watching! I think you're asking about the length from the Lake Stevens trailhead to Arlington? If so, that is about 15 miles one way. Everyone goes at a different speed, and I tend to go about 10 mph average because I am just not in a hurry. It would take me about 1 1/2 hours to get up into Arlington. Arlington is pretty big so I'm not sure if you were looking at any particular spot in Arlington. So it might be a little more or less depending on where you stop. That would just be one way. There are some good trail maps with mileages that might help. This one also lists all the different trailheads so you can decide where to start and finish: snohomishcountywa.gov/facilities/facility/details/centennialtrail-33
I hope you have a great bicycle ride! ☺

8:10 - That trail section the heads west just goes a couple hundred yards down to the Armar trail head on 67th Ave NE (Armar Road). The parking lot is just beyond the bend. There are picnic tables and a porta-potty.
