Lake Elizabeth (Short Outdoor Escapes)

The forest service road goes right past Lake Elizabeth. The loop trail around Lake Elizabeth is just under 1 mile and relatively flat. It is quite overgrown and muddy, making the journey a little difficult. The lake is quiet and calm with no dramatic views, but pretty none-the-less.
After our short walk around Lake Elizabeth, we drove to the end of the road and bushwhacked about 2 miles round-trip to an off-trail waterfall. It was beautiful, but challenging to get to.
