- This is the last part of the adventure, with some unexpected challenges, dirt tracks, sand, stunning headlands, more animals, long days, early starts, all on the Royal Enfield Himalayan.
That trip is among the best I've seen on RUclips. Excellent camera work and commentary. You definitely have amazing skills. 👍x10
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series, there fun to makes so about to head off on the next one, the more I do hopefully the better I'll get at making them.
@freewayproject I think you're pretty good now, mate. More power to ya.
There are two youtube channels that have helped me define my own adventure perspectives. Yours, of course, where photography Jon's the motorcycle adventure in simplicity and good taste and "Le nez dans le moteur" a French "senior" film maker that's shows us how beautiful our countries are. Both of you, as I now, ride an himalayan. At 67 years of age, you inspire me to keep living the adventure of life lived to it's fullest. "Optimus temporibus" : the best of times! Thank you for being who you are!
Thanks mate, really glad you are enjoying the series, and yes it all about finding your adventure.
I check out Le nez dans le moteur and his latest episode he rides over Le Mont Ventoux which is funny, I used to be a professional athlete based in Saint Paul Trois Chateaux in France near there and riding to the top was a weekly training ride (on a bicycle no engine back in the day).
I've enjoyed every single video in this series, travelling vicariously while sitting in my office in the South West of England. Thank you for taking me along, it's been great.
Thanks for the support Neil, glad you enjoyed the ride. I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west..... that's all I have planned, I'll wing the rest. I hope the summer is kind over there this year so you can get out and ride.
Enjoyed your videos mate
Where next ?🙏
Wow. This is incredibly well done. One of the better moto-camping/Trip mini documentaries/films I've seen. Excellent work.
Thanks Joe, it's great to hear you enjoyed the series, there are are a few more series on the channel, one overt to the west coast of Australia and back, also one where I travel around New Zealand, and in a couple of weeks I'll be starting another series in some very tall mountains.
Thanks Joe. Looking forward to your next adventure already.
thanks for the support Annie, thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need
How lovely of that other rider to come along! What an adventure! Thank you for making such beautiful videos, it really feels like we’re on the road with you.
Yes, it was awesome to have the guidance of the local.
It's great to hear that you enjoyed the series.
What a great adventure! I enjoyed the surf footage and hearing about your friends!
Thanks for the support Scott, glad you enjoyed it. Yes those guy are all incredible watermen, they have paddle out into the biggest Hawaiian swell I have ever seen and just the best mates to hang with.
What a great series. Thanks for sharing your ride with all of us !
Thanks for the support mate, glad you enjoyed there series, I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need
A great Series Joe well done and thank you for your time and effort to film and photograph wonderful places and bring them to our lounge rooms
What a magic trip
Thanks
Dave
Thanks Dave, glad you enjoyed the first series. I am nearly finished the second series probably 3 more episodes to go in that one.
This is a gorgeous documentary of the landscape and also of an epic road trip. Thank you!
Thanks Bradley, glad you enjoyed the first series, I'm just ending the second series which is about 23 episode heading across to the west coast of Australia.
Brilliant series, really enjoyed it. You deserve way more subs. Looking forward to whatever you show us next. Thank you
Thanks for the support Paul, glad you enjoyed the series, thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all ill need
Great journey! Hello and Thanks from Japan. Australia is the first country I visited. I fell in love with this country in two days. And, so, I bought a bike, Kawasaki (not Royal Enfield..).
Thanks Joe, It's great to hear you enjoyed the series. Any bike that can take you to explore a places it the perfect bike. I hope to be able to explore Japan on a motorbike in the future. I have been many time but never ridden a motorbike there.
Epic trip as I have been inspired. Winter is coming here in Northern Ontario Canada but your videos inspire me to plan for my own trip this spring 2025. So addictive. Making me want more. I think it is your style of story telling and of course your video photography is the best. Thank you.
Thanks Shawn, it great to hear you enjoyed that series, I can't wait to head back to Canada to explore, I have done a little bit of BC on an enduro bike through the forest and mountains which was amazing. There is also the New Zealand series that I have recently finished and on Friday the new series starts, there are a couple mountains in this one too.
Great series Joe, looking forward to starting season 2! Appreciate the time and effort you put into it.
Thanks Anthony, I am happy you have enjoyed the first series. You'll have to let me know if I improve from the start of series one to the end of series 2 in front of the camera, to me it still feel awkward.
I just finished watching the show from the beginning. I had so much fun watching it that I wanted to thank you for your work. The adventure, the shots, the humor and the photos are the aspects that I liked the most. This is my first comment on YT so you understand that for me it means a lot. I will follow the rest with great pleasure. Good road. Nicolas.
Thank you Nicolas, I am happy you have enjoyed the first series, they're a lot of fun to make so great to know when someone is really enjoying them. Hopefully the second series will be even better.
Mate you really are a glutton for punishment, lol. Your film making is fantastic by the way! I really like the way the Himalayan is so old school, it really helps when things go tits up! It's a real treat for me being in the UK to see trips like this in real wilderness, it must take a certain amount of courage. Your films do have a feel good factor which just adds to the adventure! Cheers🍺👏😀👍
Thanks mate glad you enjoyed it. Yes having a tried and true design, keeping it basic helps with reliability and easier to fix if things do go wrong. Someone once told me the bike looks like it just came out of an Indiana Joes movie haha
Great series, thank you. The best part is that you always have a smile on your face and always look and sound like you are thoroughly enjoying yourself.
Thanks for the support mate, glad you enjoyed the series.
I can't help but smile, riding all day, camping, exploring, it's an absolute blast.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west.....hat's all I have planned, so the rest will just be winging it.
That was awesome! Can’t wait to watch the next one!! ⛰️ 🏝️ 🏜️ 🏍️ 🏕️
thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it..
Thanks Joe, absolutely brilliant, great photos, commentary, and motorcycling. Waiting for the next series.....
Glad you enjoyed it Rob, you don't have to wait, the first episode is up already of the second series, oh but the 2 and 3 episode are were the really fun begins.
What a trip alright.
Good on ya for sharing it with us all.
It was a great journey, so many unique places to explore and so diverse. It's great to hear you enjoyed it.
You should be so proud of your work. The images you’ve captured are beautiful.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it, they are a lot of fun to create.
Tks for this, few months ago I fractured my hands riding off-road and I’ve been itching to go on a trip! Love the cinematography and story-telling!
Thanks Syumassh, glad you enjoyed the series. I am heading off in a few weeks on another ride, so there will be some new episodes coming.
I hope your hands health quickly and you can get back out there, so much to explore.
What an incredible series! I am blown away by the footage, photography and storytelling you shared. The diverse places you were able to ride that bike in are mindblowing. Looking forward to Season 2 :)
Thanks Michael, I ma glad you enjoyed the first series. A friend said the second series was better so hopefully you'll enjoy it too.
Mate what an adventure, the funny thing is someone will read this comment some time in the future when you have 1m+ subs and without me mentioning you only had just under 8k when I wrote this, they will be stunned that they didnt find your amazing channel until they did. Sometimes we dont know what we are missing out on in life until we find them, you are one of them!
Thank you for allowing me to live vicariously thru you, until i get my bike and start my own journey on two wheels because Im itching to ride, its funny with what ive spent on good quality riding gear i could have already bought a really cheap bike with that money haha but many good things come with patience :)
I am glad you enjoyed the first series. You'll love it once you're out there exploring, there are so many places to explore. The bike, the gear, what exactly it is doesn't matter, just as long as you are out there using it.
Thanks so much for sharing your adventure! Outstanding video quality, yours has become my favorite motorcycle travel channel, can’t wait to see what happens next!
Thanks for the support mate, glad you enjoyed the series. I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need to start.
Hats off Joe.
Great great series. Love the style of delivery, super calming to watch. At the very top end of motocamping content. Looking forward to what’s next
Thanks Trent, glad you enjoyed the series, will be on the road soon, heading west this time.
Ahh excellent. I’ll be definitely watching that one with interest. I’m heading off myself from Melbourne to WA in October for 4 weeks 😃
My wife is heading to Australia in a month. Thanks for the beautiful videos. I also gave a Himalayan.
Thanks Bruce, I am glad you enjoyed the series. I am sure she will have a great time over here there is so much to see and explore.
Hey Joe, just watched the whole season in a few days. Stumbled onto it as a fellow Himalayan buddy. Fantastic stuff! Great filming, great scenery. Love your storytelling! I thought Australia was warm/hot! :D Looking forward to watching more of your videos. Cheers from NL.
thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the first series. In the second series it gets more like you probably expect once I go north. Oh and the 3rd series that I just started begins in a heatwave 😂.
More exploring to come.
Great job mate, I couldn’t stop watching your videos, what beautiful experience👍🏻
Thanks mate, I am glad you enjoyed the first series, the second series is similar but I head over to the west of Australia.
I think the thing I love the most about this series is the fact your using a Himalayan. It's just proof you don't need the best or most expensive equipment to have an amazing experience. Plus, I might be biased because I own one.
Thanks mate, yes it about getting out there with what ever you have, I couldn't afford a new Himalayan so bought mine second hand to start exploring sooner.
The second series I push the bike a lot further, spoiler alert, it handed everything and just keep tractoring along.
@@freewayproject That's awesome, I picked mine up second hand as well. Mine came with the panniers and I couldn't believe I never owned a bike with them before this. They are a game changer.
Amazing adventure, awesome places. Keep it that way
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series.
Hey Joe, new sub'er starting from the beginning. Excellent trip & filming. Can't believe Plummer Rd?! A lot different from surfing trips thru there in the 70s. Ouch. Himy looks like a goer, her poor clutch 😊
I can only imagine how much the road has changed since then, it had changed a lot since I was there regular 20 years ago. Clutch survived and is still going strong after another 30,000km on it and traveling around Australia in the next series.
Thanks for watching, I hope you enjoy the others.
Marvellous series. Now to binge on the next one.
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series. The new series will start within a couple of weeks
Good day to you!

I have been to Japan many time, I really like. I got to Nozawaonsen near Nagano, snowboard for 5 season. I like exploring Tokyo too. I did a road trip from Osaka to Tokyo along the coast some much fun exploring your amazing country.
I came for the motorcycle and the travel. Stayed for the stunning photography, lack of in video promotion and the dry sense of humour. 👍
Thanks Marty, glad you enjoyed it.
Another great vid ..... really do enjoy what you put together...👍🍻
Thanks mate, glad you are enjoying the series, the next couple of episode to come would be fun, in the Bungle Bungles.
What a great trip. Can not wait for the next one. Thanks.
Thanks for the support Walter, glad you enjoyed the series.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west.....that's all I have planned, so the rest will just be winging it.
Awesome trip. Love the photography. Look forward to the next one
Thanks Iain, glad you enjoyed the series. I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need to start.
I've been putting off this last episode just as you do with the last page in a really good book you don't want to finish just yet, but here we are. A wonderful ending for a wonderful trip, beautifully told all the way through! Welcome home and all the best on your new adventure, whose story I'm very much looking forward to!
Thanks Catalina. I should be off again in a week or 2, then as soon as I can get one edited I'll start uploading again. Glad you enjoyed the series and thank for the support.

Hi Joe, fantastic series.
So much entertainment from the startup music to the photos at the end, just brilliant.
I have a road bike, haven’t I been missing out.
All the best.
Regards Peter.
Thanks Peter, I am glad you enjoyed the series. I sure there is lots of fun to be had on a road bike, I guess the Himalayan and bikes like it just give you a few more options to explore.

Awesome to hear you're enjoying more of the episodes Mark.
What a brilliant series Joe. Many thanks. You have inspired me to ride to Tassie from Perth (and return) early next year. Your passion for what you do, and your calm demeanour adds flavour to your product. Looking forward to the next edition already.
Thanks for the support John, glad you enjoyed the series. I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need to start. I probably end up over your side of the Island, I'll see if I can find some interesting spots on the way that might be worth checking out on your ride.
Thank you Joe for the wonderful adventure trip looking forward to your next trip.
Greeting,
Kees (from the Netherlands)
Glad you enjoyed the series Kees, leaving very soon for the next adventure, heading west this time. I hope it's good weather now for riding in the Netherlands.
That was great, thanks so much.
I hope you got some surf this week! It looked epic.
I'm looking forward to your next adventure. 😊
Thanks, and that's for the heads up on those dirt trails, and how's the tree canopy over the trail, just awesome. Are you skilled up enough yet to try the trail north to Crescent head?
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west..... that's all I have planned, I'll wing the rest.
Awesome stuff. Th e old surf stuff is cool to see. I remember bonga from way back. Thanks for sharing the coastline. Now I need to get off my butt and take my Himi to these beaches.
Thanks Shawn, glad you enjoyed the series. Yes Bonga is a blast to hangout with, spent some time with him in Hawaii and he definitely is up the top of the hierarchy there. That coastline is special.
Random thing I discovered on the Himalayan, I found it easier to ride on the sand near the beach (dry sand) than the sand in the desert, not sure why.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west..... that's all I have planned, so the rest will just be winging it.
and yes get that himi to the beach. Ride on.
Epic trip.... thanks for sharing... looking forward to seeing what you get up to next.
Thanks Rob, glad you enjoyed the series.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west..... that's all I have planned, so the rest will just be winging it.
What an epic adventure. As a new adventure bike fan and and old photography fan you've combined a couple of my old and new passions. Your videos have inspired me to get out and Ride, Camp and Shoot more. Hope to run into you on the trails one day.
Thanks for the support Greg, glad you enjoyed the series. Awesome that you're going to get out there more. Yes there's been periods where my camera has sat for months and it part of my job, doing these trips help me shoot more which I like so it is a double win.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west…..that's all I have planned, so the rest will just be winging it.

DO the Tasmania trip, everywhere is stunning, the people are really friendly like a country town, there are so many awesome spots to free camp, I can recommend it highly enough.

Thank you for an amazing adventure. Watching this just before heading out for a couple nights camping. Been thinking of getting myself a little Himalayan for a while now, you may have just made me want it even more now.
glad you enjoyed the series Rob, have fun on you're ride. I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need.
They are a great little bike, I think they would be even better at shorter trips where you didn't need as much gear as I take, the performance and fun factor goes up with less weight.
Saw you hit the East coast of NSW and saw all the roads I love, I would have suggested going down south for a little while. Narooma is an absolutely gorgeous spot and there is a few secluded camp spots if you know where to look.
I'll have to investigate the area on another trip, I am going to go back to the high country through Victoria and NSW as I basically blew through and missed everything.
As many have already said Joe, an absolute stunning adventure and so well presented. By far the best series out there. You are an insperation. Thank you so much for sharing and I am off to watch the new series lol.
Ride safe
Glad you enjoyed the series. Hopefully you enjoy then new one just as much.

Good on ya Mate! Inspiring film! I'm a Yank that left the US in 2021, and went to Mexico planning to buy a Himalayan and tour. But, on arrival, I found out I could not purchase and plate in in my own name. I suffered the rest of 21 without wheels, then went to Thailand to ride in the spring of 22, purchased a 22 350 Classic, and rode for six months. Back in Mexico now, but picking up a 23 Himalayan in the US soon, and back at it.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series, Thailand sounds like a lot of fun to ride around. Awesome there are a few good upgrades on the 23 that are good.
That last 20km and the dirt road to the left … do it!
Thanks for sharing the series. I reckon we have such a beautiful country to ride around. I have found your series inspiring and am now planning an adventure of my own.

Thank Bill, glad you enjoyed the series. I am on the next trip and well I tried to test the limits of the Himi but couldn't reach it, I was handing on for dear life and it just kept going through some serious terrain. That will be in the first few episode when I get a chance to edit and upload.
Really enjoyed it Joe, hope you have a few more in the future. Those bikes just keep going and going.
Thanks Ric, glad you enjoyed there series.

Glad you liked the series Stephen. I've just left for the next Journey, I'll start upload as soon as I can.
Loved watching your series here from Canada. I love your bike I ride a DR650 here in Canada.
thanks David, ah the tank of bike, the DR will go over anything and just keep going 👌🏻.
I am a big fan of Canada, I have spent a lot of time in BC, and a lot of that in Squamish and on Vancouver island explore there.
Just got my Himalayan and loving it. North Wales and camping soon!
Riding one down under would be a dream come true😉
awesome to here you have a new set of wheels. Let the adventures begin 👌🏻
Thanks for the journey joe thoroughly enjoyed the series, cant wait for the next adventure you take us on, seeing those cane fields made me wonder if your north of the gold coast we are probably neighbors. Once again thanks mate and ride safe.
Thanks for the support Jason, glad you enjoyed the series, I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west..... that's all I have planned, I'll wing the rest.
I am on near the NSW / QLD border those cane fields are near Murwillumbah, I just have to find somewhere where I can ride my dirt bike in sand to skill up, then ride the Himalayan in it, the only real issue I have had is when I get to deep sand 😂
but there's another really close, how well it will be paddling through the sand for a bit longer.
Hi Joe. I just subscribed few days ago. Just by chance I found your channel. Very good loved every minute. Can’t wait for next adventure. Cheers John from Gold Coast
Thanks John, glad you are enjoying the series. heading off soon on the next adventure, so hoping to post in the next few weeks

Nice work, beautifully edited, looking forward to your next adventure. Impressed by the RE Himalayan, reminds me of my first bike a Honda xl250 in it's ruggedness and simplicity. I had some of my happiest rides on that bike.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the series.

Yes the simplicity is good, I do like things more agriculture, I mean I drive a 1975 VW Kombi 😂. But I find it more about the journey it takes you. I mean I beat it would be an adventure riding a postie bike around the Simpson Desert.
Nice first Wheels
@@freewayproject Nice one, good old Kombi, they must be akin to landrover's with the majority still trundling around the far-flung corners of the globe. Can see an RE in the garage at some point. Safe travels.
What a beautiful trip mate, and incredible storytelling/filming. You've convinced me there's absolutely no better way to explore this country. As a Port local that's finally got the Himalayan I ordered a few months ago I appreciate seeing firsthand the condition of that Crescent Head track! I did it in 2020 in RAV4 that got stuck and even then it wasn't that bad.
Because you mentioned the tracks inland from Coffs - if you haven't been through Dorrigo, Bellingen etc, definitely add those to the list. Never Never Creek is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been to and the swimming is phenomenal, the countryside around is spectacular and Dorrigo mountain has some great twisties for the bike. Dangar falls nearby also. It's also a great road through the New England National park to Point Lookout which has incredible views, one of the highest points in the region and you can see all the way down to Port. Whatever the next adventure is cant wait to tune in!
Thanks for the support Chris, glad you enjoyed the series.
Yes that road is getting rough around the edges.
I am going to head off on the next adventure soon, I think I'll head west but I may have to come a bit south first haha.
Great film making Joe. I watched every episode. I totally agree with all the positive comments below. Thanks, where next?
Thanks for the support Geoff, happy you enjoyed the series. I am thinking of heading west on the next one....... that's as far as the planning has got 😂 but that's all I'll need to start.
