yes it would have been epic to be riding back in the day. I am working on a film project of the discovery of the most iconic surfing waves in Indonesia in the late 60's early 70's and a similar thing of people going out into the unknown risking it all for a real adventure. I guess I was just a few decades too late 😂.
Yes parts are very similar, well yes a few different animals is all that gives it away sometimes. Hopefully I'll be able to ride over there soon, I have done a lot of road trips and hiking in the US, can't wait to ride it.
Hello Buddy from. Chicago. Just bought a Himalayan in exact look like yours less the panniers. Your trips are like a day dream. Feel like that’s what my soul needs. The calm and peacefulness of solo riding is epic. The video is five stars just the right amount of narrating to photography. I subscribed. Keep it up. The Himalayan is a trusted machine.
Thanks Adam, glad you are enjoying there series. Yes it is epic to ride off into the distance with no set plan, just a couple rough ideas that you may or may not do. It seem a lot of people are afraid of the unknown were I am excited about it, I guess that is why I like doing it this way. The Himalayan has been really good, it has done everything I have asked of it. There are a few more episode from this ride, then it's onto the next, I think I might head west next.
Thanks mate glad you’re enjoying them. There are 2 videos at the end of this series, one on the gear I took and one on the bike. You can go to the channel or at the end of each video is a link to the next so after the 18th episode at the end is a like to the gear on the end screen and on that one is a link to the bike
Joining in on comments below: great video, great shots and editing. But then, It must be easy to do given the amazing country you're living in ;-) ! What beautiful landscapes. Also the soundtrack to it - well done!! Looking fwd to more of the same
Really enjoyed this film, I’ve subscribed, obviously! Living and coming from the UK we can only dream about wilderness, actually we don’t have any☹️ Considering buying a Himalayan, seems just the ticket for this type of trip! As a keen photographer I really enjoyed seeing your photographs too! All the best, cheers! 👏👍😀🏍🍺
I always had fairly big bikes, Gold Wing, Roadliner and Indian Roadmaster pushing the 400kg mark or higher, probably because I am a fair size myself 188cm and 107kg before breakfast. And because of that and the bikes I had I was limited to paved roads. That all changed when they made my an offer I couldn't refuse. I got a steal of a deal on a 2021 Honda Cb500X....and NOW I can start to look at doing some unpaved roads as well, hence me watching your channel. Good job by the way.
Just got my first bike the other day (Himalayan) and definitely getting a lot of inspiration to try and explore a few different areas. Absolutely love your channel mate!
Thanks Riley. You'll love the bike and exploring, if you are riding alone remember the basics, EPB / PLB EPB emergency personal beacon / Personal Locator Beacon. Get the extra fuel tanks, and always carry too much water.
Today I started pondering on the idea of getting a Himalayan. I ride an Africa Twin and have done a couple of long-haul rides with it as well as a bit of off-road. I wouldn't get rid of my AT but the Himalayan would be quite the change. I know... "don't look for speed with it". But that's just the point...."and now for something completely different". So much for my story. I happened upon your videos (algorithms doing their job?) and just watched the first in your series. I REALLY loved your laid-back approach, your superb photography and storytelling! And the putter of the H (lol)!. I will surely be watching the rest of this series to see if they finally convince me to go for it! And have hit the subscribe button. Bravo!
Thanks Roger, glad you enjoyed the video. Well there are a lot of epic bikes out there, it's all about what you want to get out of your riding and skill level, I mean what Toby Price (graham jarvis, manuela lettenbichler etc..) would take on an adventure is probably totally different than most. I have found the Himalayan great for exploring, it's good on and off road, it got me thought everything I have asked of it, only my riding ability has let me down (see episode 2 😂, it wouldn't have matter which bike I was on with my skill level and the amount of gear). I have dropped it a bunch of times but no issue it just keeps going, oh and it is easy to lift out of the dirt or sand. I have a dirt bike if I want to get really loose but I definitely wouldn't be carrying camera gear on it. So it great for what I need, note if someone said hey you want to ride a postie bike or a Honda monkey across the country, I be the first one to say yes. As as the old saying goes, it's not an adventure until something goes wrong.
Great video mate. Looks very similar terrain to my journey to work & back in the UK ( Salisbury plain ). I’ve just recently bought a Himmy & it’s ideal 👊
Probably one of the best and more down to earth, honest videos I’ve seen in a long time. Loving the journey Joe and to be honest, I reckon making an adventure up on the fly is more of an adventure than a pre planned trip. Happy travels 😎
Thanks Anthony, there are 7 videos up and roughly another 8 - 10 to go I'd guess for this trip, so hopefully a few more random adventures in there. If a trip is planed out I'd call it a tour (and there is nothing wrong with a tour) but I do prefer like you making it up as you go, I am a big fan of the unknown.
Hi Joe. I just stumbled upon your channel and really enjoyed this first episode of your trip. Terrific job you've done on it! I've subscribed and am looking forward to the series. Cheers mate!
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it, hopefully the episodes get better. A rough idea was the first one. There are 18 episodes in the first series and probably about the same in the second series.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. Yes there is so much diversity in this country, some of the episodes are in forest, some on the beach, some in the mountains and yes some in the outback, all in the one journey.
Algorithm led me to your channel, bloody glad it did. Love your storytelling style and photography. Will work my way through your series calmly and methodically, just like your adventure travelling style!
Howdy from Virginia!!This is great adventure. I really enjoyed watching it. I recently bought a 2022 Royal Enfield Himalayan so as you can imagine, I’m absolutely wearing RUclips out. Glad I came across your channel. I’ve subscribed and am looking forward to the rest of your episodes. Willie
Howdy Willie, glad you like the video, and thanks for subscribing, there are a lot more videos to come. Oh the fun you're going to have on your Himalayan, from what I understand you have a lot of good trails in your area, would be an awesome area to explore.
Thanks Alex, I am sure you'll have similar adventures, it all about picking a place then pointing your Himalayan in that direction and ride. I hope you get out there soon.
Hi Joe, I really enjoyed Episode 1. Aside from a personal interest, your video is superbly edited, narrated and the still shots are amazing. Thanks for sharing!!
Greetings from Singapore! I chanced upon your channel while doing my research on the RE Himalayan as I am planning to get one. What a brilliant video! So down to earth and just living and riding taking one day at a time. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode! Be safe and keep on riding!
Thanks Leon, glad you enjoyed the episode, the next I end up having some fun in the desert 😂. then over rocky tracks the following episode, my Himalayan has been great, it just gets the job done, I'm well over 20 000km and no issue, well I just have to keep the chains clean after going though days of dirt and rain 😁. I sure you'll lover yours, would you go over to Malaysia and go exploring there?
Thank Rob glad you enjoyed it, yes it is stunning and diverse, there's more videos to come from this trip (around 16) other places totally different but just as beautiful.
Stunning Videography. The darkness as the sun was setting gave me goosebumps. The sheer dread and excitement of being the only human for miles must have been intoxicating. Loved Himalayan's agricultural sound. Currently pondering on what beginner ADV to get. I am torn between the KTM 390 ADV and the Himalayan. The 390 is fast and more capable but does not have that tractor feel of a Himalayan.
Glad you like the video. Yes it great being in the middle of nowhere all alone. I have had the husqvarna svartpilen 401 which is the same engine east the 390KTM, it is a more punchy engine, a great bike also. It will all depend on what type of riding you are going to do, if you are going to do longer trips and carry more gear it changes the characteristics of the bike, so the RE might suit better, if you were planing more shot trips with just a small bag on the back the KTM might suit better. The 21inch front on the RE is better off road when in rougher terrain, also if you go with the KTM get the spoked wheels as if you hit something really hard the rim will bend but you can keep going or you can straighten again withe spoke adjustment, the cast wheel once you crack them that's it. If you have ridden a dirt bike a lot and can through a bike around then the lighter KTM will do that better. If you do not have a lot of time on harder dirt tracks and trails then the tractor of the RE might suit you better. If you are going to listen to anyone about a bike, first understand how they used the bike and the type of ridding and their ability, then compare that to you. Someone who has won the Dakar rally will have a totally different point of view (and requirements) on the same bike as a beginner. If you have any other questions let me know.
I hade the 401 Svartpilen and road around Australia last year with 2 mates (some photos of the ride on instagram. It's a fun bike, more power cones faster, but not as good off road or caring gear.
Thanks mate glad you are enjoying the first series. wow that is awesome that you're still out there exploring on a bike. I have spent a fair bit of time in the SE of the US, a lot of great places to explore there.
Mate you’re my inspiration to ride my Himalayan and push my comfort zone to the next level (only had it for 3 weeks) and I’ve done over 7km I’m way past my first service lol… big love from Redcliffe Brisbane 😊😊😊
Awesome to hear mate, there are a heap of great rides only a days ride from where you are then camp the ride home. Then it's all about stretching it further each time, or just head in a direction and keep going 😂😂😂. Have fun out there. I am currently on another long ride, hopefully will be able to start uploading soon. Thanks for the support.
I often do just what your doing, no plans just head any directions away from home. Tasmania is often where I venture too also. Have fun enjoy the ride and stop and smell to roses. 👍🏻😎
Hey great entertaining video. True reality without all the high end support. Was initially interested when i seen the bike , thought it was a bike review but you did what i an dreaming of doing. Thanks 😊
Thanks Arthur, glad you enjoyed it even though it wasn't what you were searching for. If you are interesting in the Himalayan the next few episode in the series after the one you watched shows what I take the bike through sandy tracks, rocky trails, HWY and I'll be doing a video on the bike soon, how I found it after traveling over 20 000km on it, if that interests you. Hopefully you find the right bike soon and are able to get out there and explore, it is totally worth it.
Hi mate, I am using the older Sony A7RIII (I think they are up to version 5 now) I don't have a lot of room on the bike so I only take 2 lenses a Sony GM 70 - 200mm 2.8 and a Sony GM 24mm 1.4
Thanks Juszig, episode 4, 5, 6, are in the NW of Tassie (you should be able to link through each episode from this one with the link at the end of the video). The North West is a stunning part of the world.
Have you been in the middle of nowhere and your battery fails? Do you carry a spare battery? I highly recommend it for bikes that do not allow a battery bypass to run. Nice video.
Haven't just taken off with no real plans for years. Best trips I ever had were the unplanned, just an idea like you had. Look how great that turned out, great vid and photos, awesome. I am very jealous, in deed.
Thanks Jono, yes no plan is a good way to go, it kind of invites a little bit of adventure. It also worked for the other 9 episodes so far, some might say episode 2 its lead me down the wrong path, it is was the bit I need up enjoying the most. Hope you take off on a ride soon with no plan.
Excellent video Joe! Nearly bought a Himalayan but ended up with a Classic more for city commuting but can live vicariously through these videos 😀 Thought you looked familiar and then worked out I had previously watched some of your Fish documentary videos a while back. Cheers
stoked you're enjoying the videos degutube. Yer the fish interviews were just sitting on a hard drive, although they are long and parts could be a bit boring, I thought there was enough good stuff in them that people maybe interested.
Beautifully filmed mate, love it. Just a really high quality (I think you're probably the first motovlogger I've seen that actually colourgrades/shoots log) and great story, you definitely deserve more subs and views which I'm sure will come. I'm a photographer/videographer as well and just ordered my own Himalayan a few weeks ago to get out and adventure/make stuff so it really hits home. How do you find taking camera gear as well as all the camp stuff? Haven't seen many other photogs on bikes to get packing ideas from haha
Stoked you're enjoying them Chis.I've been make documentaries and filming for the last couple decades so shooting log and colourgrading is the only way I know how to do it 😂. Yes one day the algorithm might pick my videos up, I'm not great on all the analytics, tactic, self promotion, social media, I just like making films and telling stories. All my camera gear is on my back in a Shimoda Action X30 I used to film/shoot a lot of backcountry snowboarding overseas (before the pandemic) but the bag works really well on the Himalayan, the bottom of the bag sits on the pillion seat which takes all the weight off the shoulders so the shoulder straps just keep the bag balanced. The reason I keep all the camera gear in the backpack is to protect it from the vibrations from the road, dirt road corrugations etc.... my body and the pillion seat absorb the harder hits. In April/May/June I road around Australia on a motorbike with 2 mates (there are some photos here instagram.com/freewayproject/ ) we had another mate with us in a 4WD and even in that the sensors in my cameras that are 5 axis stabilised got damage (knock off the stabilised mounts) so I had to work out a way to keep the cameras from getting damaged. Hope that can help in some way.
@@freewayproject Legend! Thanks. That absolutely does, interesting indeed. I've trimmed my daily work kit to all fit in one decent sized Lowepro backpack + tripod so that was my initial plan, but I got put off that idea of the bag on my back in case of a spill which then led to wanting to jerry-rig a Pelican style hardcase on the back with some foam inserts and then the alu panniers for things like the drone and lenses in padded bags. I definitely love the idea of backpack as you to say to use your body and the seat to better absorb the shocks of dirt roads on a long term basis though as that's still my main concern. Might be back to the drawing board now 😂thanks so much for the input my friend And it definitely works. I love the stuff other people put out with just Rec709/simple stuff and GoPro footage etc too but the extra quality and A7SIII really helps solidify the story and feel so much more polished. Ought to post some of these in the bigger ADV/Himalayan etc groups on FB, I'm sure they'd go down a treat!
@@Flamamacue keep trying different ideas for set up and if you come up with something that works let me know. I'm not great on the whole social media thing, I don't have a Facebook and there is nothing instant about my instagram 😂 I normally post stuff months or a year later. So I am probably not the best with the whole getting it out there etc....
Beautiful footage!! Would be Gr8 to see a video about your camera gear ect. I'm a filmmaker and documentarian always looking to learn about peoples workflow. Keep it ip Mate!!
Hi mate, great to hear you are enjoying the series. That is my back ground making feature documentaries. These video are very hastily put together so a bit cringy when I look back at them as I only do a quick edit and don't look over it again, so as you would know understand with a feature doco the amount of time you go through the edit and re-edit. The only thing I have up on here is a gear review of what I travel with and it has the camera gear towards the end. Link below ruclips.net/video/3fM_YDbOtSE/видео.html
@@freewayproject I understand completely. I've been in Docs for over 20 hrs. and often only see my footage for its flaws but none the less it's obvious your years of skill and experience translate to your Motocontent. Looks gr8 but I know it's hard not to pixelpeep on our own content. I Look forward to your videos and I'm sure soon they will gain viewers exponentially!
Hi Joe, love watching your travels, and I'm flabbergasted to see that the roads in your outback are 100 times better than any I've seen here in the UK 😕 Ride safe !
Magnifique/Bellissimo/Magnificent, Wow just wow, the images, the sound of the engine blending with the music, everything is absolutely amazing!! Loved it and immediately subscribed, your channel is way better than Netflix. Tomorrow night, I'm going to watch episode 2! Sending you good vibes from Israel!! ✌
Thanks Raphael, I am glad you enjoyed the video, there will probably be 18 videos from this ride, so hopefully there is more to enjoy. Thanks for the good vibes, hope all is good in Israel.
addicted to your tranquil videos. You really have me hooked on the himalayans now but unfortunately they are not for sale in South Africa, although one could buy it in India and then import it through a rather complicated process... and once here you may not resell it within the first 2 years of purchase... not that I would... It is such a rarity that I would probably keep it for life...
Hi Mate , just found your video and loving it as am watching it on a cold wet miserable night in the U.K. ☹️ it must be good to loose your self in the wide open spaces you have in OZ I have family in Brisbane and would love to visit some day and get out on a bike ride , have watched a lot of videos with the postie bikes but I think you have the perfect machine for the job , look forward to your future videos as looks like your on a great adventure 👍
Hi Alan, I'm glad you enjoyed the video, there will probably be around 16 -17 video from this adventure (still going) There are 11 videos so far and more trips planed for the future. Yes it is great exploring the outback with no real plan, just taking it day by day finding new places to explore and luckily in Australia there is so much variety form the outback to the beaches, coastline to the forrest, very fortunate here. Yes the Himalayan is working out well, get me everywhere I want to go, and when I drop it I can actually pick it up by myself 😂, I don't know if I could pick up a big adventure bike with all the gear on. Great to have you along for the ride, hopefully it distracts you from the cold wet weather for a bit.
Cheers Joe for finding the time on your epic adventure to reply, wish I was out there with you meanwhile will be following you on RUclips while waiting for our weather to improve and a chance to escape on my bike. Stay safe mate 👍
Hi Joe, I'm a bit late to the party. I'm on the border too, and know the roads over the GDR pretty well, but didn't recognise that twisty road that brought a smile to your face. What road was that? Loving Episode one.
Thanks Joe, it’s been a few years since I’ve done the Armidale Rd. I’m now binge watching. If you haven’t got a cinematography background, you’ve missed your calling. Brilliant content.
@@ritchieok29 I make feature documentaries, but haven't come across a good project recently so have been exploring on the bike, I did New Zealand a few months ago and are now on to the next one.
Enjoying your videos, keep them coming. Have a ride recommendation for you which I did recently and I also live in SE Qld. Head north and check out Undara Lava Tubes and also Cobbold Gorge. Great photo opportunities.
Thanks for sharing, superb laidback discovering. Liking the Himalayan more and more but sounds like they wont become available in our to smal SA market. Cheers Sean
You're Welcome Sean, by SA do you mean South Africa? I gather there are some epic trails to explore there. The next to episode on the current series will so a lot more of the capability of the Himi, I take it through some real Australia outback landscape
@@freewayproject hi Joe, yes thats south africa correct-dual sport paradise. I have a old xt600 tenere and the younger xt660-old girl for special trips and workhorse 660 for a the other. Enjoying big ass beautifull Ausie with you. Thanks Sean
Thanks Gravel Chef. The bike is fine on a bit of sand but once it got deep (see the episode 2 the one after this one) I had some issue, but I don't think it was the bike more the rider (me) plus the weight distribution, traveling like this for a month at a time I have more gear/weight on the bike and it is back heavy, also I have a backpack on which has my camera gear and it is 20+ kg so it becomes like a pendulum if I am standing and on the pegs moving around. Shed the weight and no backpack it feels more like my dirt bike position which is great. I would recommend nobble tires I used the dunlop D605 on the back (would have like the D605 front one on also going through the deep sand). Hope that helps.
@@freewayproject Thanks, it sounds like the Himalayan are a very competent bike nowadays. I was close to buying one a few years ago but a bit hesitant about the build quality, but I now see lots of people doing epic rides on them. Sand is always tricky, well for me at least, luggage weight certainly doesn't help.
Fantastic video. Editing was top notch, and you're a natural when it comes to narration. Congrats! Btw mate, I love those boots at 13:40. Where did you get them? hehe
Thanks Cuentos, glad you enjoyed the video, there's about 18 episode in that series, the boots make a few more appearances the boot are MEN'S KODIAK THANE WATERPROOF BOOT, it form a 100 year old Canadian boot company, they are leather and waxed cotton, I have had that pair for 8 years and they are still great.
If you go to the actual youtube channel there is a button that says play list www.youtube.com/@freewayproject/playlists This is the series a rough idea play list. ruclips.net/video/47Tgemj9mdE/видео.html There is a path that goes into the "Walls of China" that they like you to keep on, it takes you right up to them, they don't want you climbing on them as they are delicate like China (the material they make tea sets out of)

As as the old saying goes, it's not an adventure until something goes wrong.
Wait for the new Himalayan 😊
Lol yeah I guess it was what i was trying to say.
Great post Joe. Beautiful countryside and love the empty roads 👍
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it. Yes there is so much diversity in this country, some of the episodes are in forest, some on the beach, some in the mountains and yes some in the outback, all in the one journey.
Superb photography and a very nice trip.
Thank you for your sharing.
Thanks, glad you enjoyed.
Algorithm led me to your channel, bloody glad it did. Love your storytelling style and photography. Will work my way through your series calmly and methodically, just like your adventure travelling style!
Thanks Anthony, glad your enjoyed the episode. Hopefully there's a few more you like.
wonderful adventure mate - thanks 🙏🏻 inspired me to get a Himmy - which arrived today 👍
That is awesome, I hope you have a lot of fun out there explore which I am sure you will.
Awesome video. Loved it. Great photos of morning sun👍.
Thanks mate, that was the good day, the next episode is where it all went sideways 🤣
Wow this was amazing to watch! The photography is stunning ❤❤❤
Thanks Sheridan, glad you enjoyed it, there are a lot more videos to come
Howdy from Virginia!!This is great adventure.
Absolutely sensational video. As a Himalayan owner I hope for similar adventures one day :-)
Thanks again
Thanks Alex, I am sure you'll have similar adventures, it all about picking a place then pointing your Himalayan in that direction and ride. I hope you get out there soon.
Hi Joe, I really enjoyed Episode 1. Aside from a personal interest, your video is superbly edited, narrated and the still shots are amazing. Thanks for sharing!!
thanks Michael, glad you enjoyed it.
Agreed. The editing was superb. Well done! I've subscribed, and looking forward to watching more.
Thanks Jeff, there are probably another 10 videos to go on this road trip.
@@freewayproject Thanks for the update. Yup! Definitely going to ride up north into Malaysia.
Really enjoyed this Joe, we live in a beautful country
Thank Rob glad you enjoyed it, yes it is stunning and diverse, there's more videos to come from this trip (around 16) other places totally different but just as beautiful.
Great photos, can't wait to see what happens in Tassie.
thanks Walter, there is still a few episodes before Tassie and things might go a little off track before then 😂
Stunning Videography.
@@freewayproject Thanks. I currently have a Svartpilen 250 so might go for Himalayan to have a different riding feel.
I hade the 401 Svartpilen and road around Australia last year with 2 mates (some photos of the ride on instagram. It's a fun bike, more power cones faster, but not as good off road or caring gear.
Beautiful Joe! Thanks.... (I ride @ 87 in SE US)😄
Thanks mate glad you are enjoying the first series.
wow that is awesome that you're still out there exploring on a bike. I have spent a fair bit of time in the SE of the US, a lot of great places to explore there.
So sad that Australia is so far away. I would love doing these roads on a small cc Adventure bike.
It is a lot of fun out here so much to explore.
Wow... stunning scenery. cant wait to watch all the episodes of this series!
Thanks Richard, yes the outback is stunning, there's about 18 episode hopefully there'll be some you'll enjoy.
Thanks Johnny, yes I am a fan of the unknown, no plan allows that to happen a lot more.
Awesome mate,,,heaps jealous
Thanks Eric, actually watch the next episode after this one, you may not be as jealous 😂😂😂
Great work, my brother.
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed the first episode.
Pretty epic!
So many places in the outback to explore.
Excellent! Thank you for sharing ✌️
Thanks Raymond, stoked you enjoyed it.
This. I want to do this. Thank you for the inspiration.
You're welcome NavyScrubz, do it, definitely worth it.
Beautiful cinematography 🙌🙌
Thanks Mike, it a lot easier with landscapes like that. Actually now in Tasmania totally different by still amazing landscapes
Hello man, I have seen your posts on facebook in Royal Enfield group I really like the pictures you take, which camera are you using?
Hi mate, I am using the older Sony A7RIII (I think they are up to version 5 now) I don't have a lot of room on the bike so I only take 2 lenses a Sony GM 70 - 200mm 2.8 and a Sony GM 24mm 1.4
Great ride - nice one
Thanks mate, glad you enjoyed it.
Great stuff. Just found your channel. Going to check out more of your vids.
Thanks Sean, glad you enjoyed it. Just started a new series also.
Keep up the good work Joe. Been hoping for new himalayan rides in the Aussie bush.
thanks John, there's a few more to come :)
Great shots Joe… I hope you had a beer in one of those pubs along the way :) can’t wait to see what you find in Tassie!
thanks Carolyn, yes can't wait to explore the less seen Tassie.
Inspirational! Such beauty, everywhere. Can’t wait until you start seeing Tassie. NW coast my backyard🏍️✌🏻
Nice video.
I have 2 other Lithium batteries with me that I can transfer power from. And as a back up I can charge them with a 100w solar panel
Outstanding...
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Top content mate. Respect.
Thanks JD, glad you enjoyed it.
Nice colours!
Thanks Thomas, glad you enjoyed it.
I enjoyed ,your video.
Your stills are very nice too
Thanks, glad you enjoyed it.
Excellent video Joe! Nearly bought a Himalayan but ended up with a Classic more for city commuting but can live vicariously through these videos 😀
Thought you looked familiar and then worked out I had previously watched some of your Fish documentary videos a while back. Cheers
stoked you're enjoying the videos degutube.
Might be back to the drawing board now 😂thanks so much for the input my friend
And it definitely works.
Really enjoyed....thanks
Glad you are enjoying a few of the video Stephen, I am about to head out on the road again, this time heading west.
Link below
ruclips.net/video/3fM_YDbOtSE/видео.html
@@freewayproject I understand completely. I've been in Docs for over 20 hrs. and often only see my footage for its flaws but none the less it's obvious your years of skill and experience translate to your Motocontent. Looks gr8 but I know it's hard not to pixelpeep on our own content. I Look forward to your videos and I'm sure soon they will gain viewers exponentially!
Hi Joe, love watching your travels, and I'm flabbergasted to see that the roads in your outback are 100 times better than any I've seen here in the UK 😕 Ride safe !
Thanks Chris, glad you're enjoying the series. Yes some roads are great, I think the city roads can be worst 😂
just stay away from Sydney and Melbourne roads - they aren't great at all
Magnifique/Bellissimo/Magnificent, Wow just wow, the images, the sound of the engine blending with the music, everything is absolutely amazing!!
It's great to hear you are enjoying the series. That suck a bit that it would take that much effort to get one there.
Stay safe mate 👍
love your photo's Joe
Thanks Ken, They change a bit for one episode to the next. There's so much variety in this land.
Had to sub as think am getting a Himalayan. Great stuff!!!
Greetings from blighty you Galah😂
Thanks mate, all I can say is the bike gets the job done, I've had no issue with mine after 20 000km
@@freewayproject Good to know. You done the air filter etc yet? Heard that and the cams are nice upgrades.
Hi Joe, I'm a bit late to the party. I'm on the border too, and know the roads over the GDR pretty well, but didn't recognise that twisty road that brought a smile to your face. What road was that? Loving Episode one.
It's on Armidale between Nymbolda and Dundurrabin. It's great to hear you enjoyed the first episode.
Thanks Joe, it’s been a few years since I’ve done the Armidale Rd. I’m now binge watching. If you haven’t got a cinematography background, you’ve missed your calling. Brilliant content.
@@ritchieok29 I make feature documentaries, but haven't come across a good project recently so have been exploring on the bike, I did New Zealand a few months ago and are now on to the next one.

all in one day haha, I am glad you enjoyed them, there is probably another 8 more to come from this trip.
Thanks Sean
How'd the bike go in the sand? Great vid too!
Where did you get them? hehe
Thanks Cuentos, glad you enjoyed the video, there's about 18 episode in that series, the boots make a few more appearances
