Good video on the spark plug !! You mentioned motor mount. I changed mine around 130,000 miles. Made a huge difference. The main one was completely shut.
Great video. Very detailed. Like the way you did it. One sparkplug at a time the whole step and process.
Thank you for taking time to put this out there. Saved me some good money!
Thank you! This helped me save labor and money! I appreciate this video a lot.
Thanks. That’s a great detailed video 😊 I just replaced on my 2013 focus.
Dealership quoted $240 for spark plug replacement. Still can’t understand why the need so much for less than 30min job.
Exactly
Because some people let them.
thank you so much
Hello, Appreciate the video toward the end of video he said, if the spark plugs didn’t fix the idling, it could be?
Motor mount
What tool do you use to measure the pounds pressure to tighten them? Is the grease and lube necessary or just preference?
Thank you.
It’s just a torque wrench such as this amzn.to/44Lpc1R but you don’t have to use one. You also don’t have to to use the anti-seize or dielectric grease but it does help for removal next time.
How much for 4 spark plug
Did you unplug the battery first or no?
I did not. But it’s always good practice to undo before hand.
Is the Anti-seize required?
No it’s not required just makes for easier removal the next time they need changed.
For some reason Amazon is saying this sparkling dont fit my 2018 Ford Focus SE. Can anyone confirm if it does or not?
Amazon’s system isn’t always up to date and will say parts don’t fit even though they do. I just confirmed and yes the motorcraft sp535 spark plugs will fit your 2018 focus se.
@@BLUECOLLARGARAGE thank you! I just ordered them along with the grease in the link
@@DifferentthingsstandupDid it work out fine? I am attempting this for my 2018 but I am finding conflicting info online. Haha.
@@sirbenjalot yes it sure did. Still running them plugs with zero issues
@@Differentthingsstandup Thanks! I thought I was good to go but realized I may have grabbed wrong spark plugs. And I don’t have a proper torque wrench…🫣 So this video and your comment have been helpful! Thanks again
What kind of tools are you using…, 8mm what? socket wrench?
8mm socket to remove the ignition coils, then you’ll need spark plug socket for the plugs
oh also, will need a torque wrench to torque the plugs to 11 ft-lb
