Seems like you had a really nice trip, and that tent looks wonderful! I have thought about the Gramme 4 with floor and a small wood stove but no innertent. The polycotton fabric is really nice but heavy, I have a tentipi safir 5 with similar poly cotton fabric and the inside get quite nice but its about 9,5 kg, ok for canoetrips without the need of portaging, but heavy for backpacking. I love to see these short trips and so beautiful scenery. Love watching Johnny watching you all when eating...
Matti can you shout out the paddle you're using? Bending branches and badger paddles here in Canada are a massive favorite. I still have some old grey owls that I don't mind bashing and digging!
I will check if I still can see what brand it is… it’s a wooden paddle and the blade is made strong with a layer of carbon fibre… or something similar. My brother used a Grey Owl Beaver tail. That’s also a very nice paddle. /Matti
Your nephew will remember catching more fish than everyone else, for the rest of his life & Matti will never hear the last of it. Warm Regards from Reno, Nevada U.S.A.
Absolutely wonderful story and what an evolution in your storytelling and editing there has been throughout the years. So important to hand down the joy and love for outdoor life to the young generations.
Thank you for the beautiful and relaxing video trip. I thought I was the only person who hangs my headlamp around my neck. It’s good to see I’m not the only one. Your lakes and woods are very beautiful. Cheers!
Skunked is what we call it when the kids whup up on you fishing. Beautiful place Matti. Wonderful. I looked at their tents. Pretty trick but made in China. Quality seems more than good though. Some interesting designs. Pass the torch. Great vid.
That’s one down side with this tent. I had liked if they have been made in Norway. Of course China is also making good stuff and lots of things are made over there. If it had been produced in Norway the people who worked there should have a better situation but the prices would have been much higher… /Matti
Most of their tents are less than 500 USD which is good value. I'd buy one of those before the cheaper models made there. They seem durable, time/use will tell. Of course the Sedish Hille's aren't made in Sweden either but are EU produced. I've met some of them. Hard workers with benefits and one hell of a product. They have 4 person free standing out now. I have the three, it's tough as wang leather. @@JOKKMOKKGUIDERNA

That’s great with the lamp around the neck. Otherwise I would never find it when I need it.

Nice video. We do canoe trips all the time in northern New England and Northern Canada. Love the Nova Craft!
