I really don't know how to do all you did but going to give it a try. Wish we could hire Blender Coaches for some of this until we get some of the methods down. Thanks for showing this method for the spokes.
I feel, in the journey towards learning blender, each one explores his/her own ways of approaching things. So, understanding the tools will give you insight of what is each tool is capable of. It might be intimidating at first, but you will pick it up gradually....All the best..
i dont understand the part in 4:04, can you help me out where does the numpad button goes to? is it the one on the right side of keyboard? i tried all of them but it doesnt work, none of them..? can u tell me?
Ctrl and the plus symbol on the numpad helps you select the next/adjacent faces i.e, increase the selection through shorcit instead of going with the traditional method of selecting each of those faces manually. Let me know if that helped you
The wireframe modifier saved me from rotating 24 cylinder by hand, thank you so much
Cool :)
Man what am I missing. I click on the face with everything selected and nothing happens, it just deselects. I also tried clicking on the edges
I've literally spent hours trying to create spocks and but you've solved my problem in less than 3 minutes...thanks alot
Wow...Nice to know that.... :)
The beginning part where you model the spokes really helped me. Thank you!
