Yeah for $100k is much but have you actually seen the rcf at the Nurburgring, remember driver mod matters on the track, I’ve never heard of a straight line track
The Mach 1 for sure wins on so many levels for me...the Lexus wasn’t even on my radar before you guys brought up the comparison and honestly I can see why after watching the review. The Mach 1 or a used GT350 (if you can find one), would be my choice for sure.
Just can’t beat a great manual transmission. I definitely agree with you guys. The GT350 is my realistic dream car though, so I’m bringing a lot of bias.
One of your best reviews ever. Great job as usual. This comparison is one I've been wanting for a long time. Now lets have one with the non-track versions after all, how many will ever track these cars? This Mustang wins on price and the Lexus wins because it a Lexus. I'm older so the Lexus wins of course. Never really like this latest generation Mustang. Liked the looks of the previous one better.
Lol a lot of people don't have a clue how good the RCF can sound with a full novel setup. If the car came sounding like that from factory it would be the much more popular option regardless of it being less powerful to the competition.
Once you get off the gas and begin driving sanely, the quality of the build difference is light years away from each other. I had a GT500 and now drive a Lexus. No comparison in build quality, comfort, and luxury. The Lexus leaves the Mustang faaaaaar behind.
I think most of the bad shifting feel in a regular 5.0 is from the shifter itself and not so much the transmission. I had a 2014 Stage 3 Roush and of course I didn’t enjoy shifting it until I installed the MGW shifter. It completely changed the driving experience! It felt silky smooth and just clicked into gears once it was installed. The BMR suspension and one piece drive shaft also added to the driving fun.
Great review as always! Thanks! Mustang is the way to go for sure and just letting you know that MSRP order have been placed by me for 2023 Mach 1 :-)! Over here in Australia, we get a watered down mach1, less power and the regular LSD instead of the Torsen diff, I'd absolutely choose the Lexus, they sound amazing with an aftermarket exhaust, and some wider tyres on the rear (Lexus always puts too narrow tyres on), will help with the loose tail.
I Gotta give a round of applause to Lexus for making a vehicle like this... when you remember that Lexus is a Japanese manufacturer making a car like this is pretty wild this type of vehicle does not exist from Honda or Nissan. Also, there’s a setting, for the Mustang, if you want the day running lights only to be on (tri bar lights) you have to check off the day lamp setting to off. That is so the headlamps will be off and only turn on the DRL.
About $100k(US) for the Lexus..
Damn, I'd rather get a 2016 M4 GTS for $100k
BMW - Karen Car alert
I don't even like Fords but that Mustang is pretty badass.
I would go for that gorgeous RC-F perfection everywhere:
-carbon fiber hood wing splitter roof
-drifty
-red interior and cool gages and seats
-weight reduced,
-unbelievable headlights,
-exhaust system on point,
-no soft limiter,
-more reliable probably,
-carbon ceramic brakes,
you cannot go wrong with this Japanese BEAST 🔥🔥
The RCF "Track Edition" is a joke. All that flashy carbon and big spoiler, for what? Worse lap times than a 1LE Camaro SS that costs half as much? No thanks, for $100k I'll take a Cayman GT4 instead of this pointless boat.
Porsche GT4 is expensive
Sounds like you've got no idea how much a GT4 costs 🤣
Yeah for $100k is much but have you actually seen the rcf at the Nurburgring, remember driver mod matters on the track, I’ve never heard of a straight line track
To be honest, I totally agree. But I love the RCF/TE because it’s reliable, quick and nice. Heavy on the reliable
For a 100k you can get the gt500 with a few packages lol.
1:24 love how yall changed the subscribe number to 10mill
The Mach 1 for sure wins on so many levels for me...the Lexus wasn’t even on my radar before you guys brought up the comparison and honestly I can see why after watching the review. The Mach 1 or a used GT350 (if you can find one), would be my choice for sure.
Mustang all day! Lexus has had the same interior for the past 37 years
Just can’t beat a great manual transmission. I definitely agree with you guys. The GT350 is my realistic dream car though, so I’m bringing a lot of bias.
The mach 1 looks amazing, il look into getting one once the aftermarket makes a sick looking shaker hood for it 👌
They already do. They released it right when the car launched.
Yeah I've seen it now, kinda looks like they took it straight off a new edge 😂
Both amazing cars. A straight piped RC F has unbelievable downshifts so I’d have to choose it
Lol, you'd choose a car based on sound?
@@taurussho86 absolutely. Are you even a car guy?? Lol
@@doggedlydetermined7022 yes i am, but I'd never make a $$$$ decision based on sound. That's dumb as fuck.
@@taurussho86 it's about enjoyment, and people like various things about driving cars, same reason why people spend so much on good exhausts.
@@blgn3502 I'm glad someone likes that car because I don't lol. It's a boring design and its exhaust note isn't unique.
The RCF is so expensive, the Stang isn't exactly cheap. I'd have to go with the Stang. That manual transmission and the sound is incredible!
The cheapest used RCF in the entirety of America is $68,888 as of this comment. The Mach 1 is $20,000 cheaper and you can still get it with a manual.
Man this mach 1 is gorgeous
Which one would you choose? I think I would go with the RCF!
Not for $97k. That’s close to porsche 911 price
Mustang for sure.
The $60K Mach1 vs. the $97K Lexus (in REAL Money) = No Contest, MUSTANG Mach1 for the WIN!
RCF with full NOVEL header back exhaust sounds exotic!
Yes
Lol a lot of people don't have a clue how good the RCF can sound with a full novel setup. If the car came sounding like that from factory it would be the much more popular option regardless of it being less powerful to the competition.
Once you get off the gas and begin driving sanely, the quality of the build difference is light years away from each other. I had a GT500 and now drive a Lexus. No comparison in build quality, comfort, and luxury. The Lexus leaves the Mustang faaaaaar behind.
One category that Lexus/Toyota wins ALL the time...quality and relibilty. Ford cannot even come close.
I'm loving this comparison! So glad to see more videos with the Mach 1!
RCF is no one's rival.. Hell they barley can get them off the shelf. But great video!!!
My back has a little more health then yours does. That unnecessary dig out of nowhere made me chuckle
Can we all appreciate the fact that both of these are both port and direct injected?
Both of my dream cars in one video!
@@DJ-vp6xq ok
While they're not considered as dream cars for me, but sure last longer than that piece of schiet AMG.

Great review as always! Thanks! Mustang is the way to go for sure and just letting you know that MSRP order have been placed by me for 2023 Mach 1 :-)! You review of that car sold me on it for sure plus incredible value of that last of Mohican’s vehicle :-)! Keep up the great work guys!!! ✌🏻from California!

@@vinicrusher nice!! That is a sweet looking ride!
Yeah and apparently they also said you get a bunch of features that you don't actually get. Ford Australia really screwed that one up lol
I Gotta give a round of applause to Lexus for making a vehicle like this... when you remember that Lexus is a Japanese manufacturer making a car like this is pretty wild this type of vehicle does not exist from Honda or Nissan. Acura nothing RWD nothing fun. Infinti no V8 coupe. Lexus builds really unique Vehicles in the Japanese landscape of whats normal.
Can’t wait to see the next F products.
How many will they sell though?
@@johnmitchell2269 This is not a Honda Civic this vehicle is not made to generate sale numbers. It’s a showcase of Lexus engineering. only 60 examples of this RCF have been produced making it one of the rarest vehicles in production and if you watch the video they even said that a few of them have been sold and there’s only two left in Canada. So there’s wealthy people out there that actually buying them
So something I noticed with the Mustang, my friends Mach 1 DRL work regardless of the parking break position, so that might just be a law in Canada where that’s required.
Ford Mustang Mach1 for the win every time 👍
This would be the best dream garage for me ,mach 1 for track, rcf for daily
If you guys race these you will be my new favorite car channel
Ford wouldn't let us take it to the track otherwise we would have
@@TheStraightPipes i would let you guys use mine but I'm probably far from you.
It'll be the Mustang for me, this Mach 1 is a beauty.
The dealership markup on the Mach 1 is crazy. This video probably added another 5k to the markup. 😂 it's already at 80k why not 85.
I bought a mach 1 for 57k, no ADM. Some dealerships at least sell at MSRP.
I ordered mine maxed out for $69,999 including all fees. The only one I've seen in real life was in a showroom and had a $10,000 dealer fee on it, INSANITY! Lol
Both are sweet cars, If I was younger and more into racing Mach 1 everyday but I want something as I get older more refined so I would give up some speed/manual and go with the RCF.
Yuri, we need a compilation of you powershifting and chirping second gears.
Lexus RCF all day luxury and reliability if need more power threw in RR Racing Supercharger for 700+ HP 😊 👍
if both were manual, i think i would go with the lexus for the luxury
The mustang is very good and i love the manual, but my heart belongs to the RC-F.
Just got a mach 1. Their review is spot on. Fuckin love it haha
Being a Lexus owner and fan the RC in all trims was a failed attempt. The Mach-1 looks nice and the GT350 must be so good to roll through
Now... The real business! Those cars are expensive, so you have to see them like an investment, in 5 years... The winner will be...?
Even though I’m a Lexus enthusiast and technician, I would take the Mach 1 over the RC-F 😅
Easily going with Lexus here. Idk how anyone wouldn’t tbh
Mach 1 all day! But really Ford cheaped out. That Tremec trans shoudlve been in all Mustangs. The MT82 is vague feeling and failure prone - and I have one. I will eventually get a shifter kit and whenever it goes get the trans rebuilt and buffed.
the mustang sounds like godzilla revving up the atomic breath and it’s so dope
My choice would be Lexus, just cos I like the styling more and it's that much rarer
The Mach 1 is going to be an incredibly rare car as well. I've never seen one on the roads and there's only 1 currently in Florida at a dealership. The Mach 1 is only going to be a 1-2 year production run so once it's gone, it's gone. You don't have 5+ years to get one like you would a GT350 and that's already not an ultra popular car.
@@Nick-uw1pt LOOKS LIKE YOU ENDED UP BEING WRONG
If I want the car to last and care about maintenance, I'd go RCF obviously. For any other reasons, I'd take the mach 1 personally
You're crazy as hell if you think that car will last longer.
@@taurussho86 I think the Mustang is the better car here and pretty reliable as well. I haven’t seen any reliability issues with Mustangs.
@@drivescene6747 Absolutely. Ppl look at Lexus=Toyota which is the same company with different parts. Lexus vehicles in my experience has been less reliable than mustangs.
Mustangs are easy to maintain and reliable
@@taurussho86 I agree. Lexus is overrated and overpriced for what you get. Most of the vehicles in their lineup is from 2006. Mustangs are great cars which are constantly being improved. My personal favorite modern Mustang is the GT350, I’m in love with that Voodoo V8.
Those RCF seats!🥺😍
lol what about the interiors? The Lexus kills in that dept!
Both Are meant for different purpose mustang for legacy history heritage and many more..
Bet Pom, I’m guessing you have to be a female which is fine , bc red blooded men put Performance first. I could careless if the mustang has a bus seat, give me the one that turns heads. MUSTANG
They went over it in the video
It's a nicer interior, but dated.
@@georgewilliams3740 mustangs/cameros/dodgechargers are the coakroaches of the road. Everyone and their mother has some version of mustang it seems. I’m a Lexus/Toyota fan, but here I’ll go with the Mach1 in grey with Manual.
The Lexus looks sooooooo much better imo
I’d miss the nice interior of the Lexus, but I’d pick the mach 1 every time. Lexus is nice and good quality, but performance wise it’s just not up to par. From the other reviews I’ve heard anyway. Didn’t drive it myself obviously.
that Mustang is one of my dream cars!
The rcf may be a collectors wet dream in the future. Japanese v8 car thats very rare. A good investment.
The front end of that Lexus is bulbous and looks like it has been stung by a bee.
Or trampled on by a horse
Front end looks good. Not my favorite but it looks better than average today.
It looks good imo
Awful, reminds me of the Nissan Sentra's from a few years ago
Price difference is just enormous here. You could get the Mustang AND a really nice automatic sedan or crossover for what the Lexus costs...
Sick Camaro bro
I was confused until I got to that part in the video 😂
I gotta make an argument on your exhaust look rating. I think the fact you can see the massive resonators behind the RCF’s exhaust kills the look. If you couldn’t see the resonators then it’d be a win no doubt.
The Mach 1 is so unbelievably beautiful I can’t even stand it. I need one desperately.
Excellent review. So much detail and passion put in to all the little things as if you've owned these cars for months. Top job guys. Chemistry and relationships between u guys is superb.
