omg, I LOVE IT! anyone else have an addiction to just creating journals lol
Oh my gosh! Totally addicted!
I feel seen 🙄🙄🤣🤣
Those truly are vintage sheets! We had a set growing up and I still have the pillow cases! Love the new way you're making covers.
Yes! We had those sheets too!
I love the addition of batting!!! I must try this!
Thanks for sharing!
My stomach is growling right now and you show a cheez-it box which is my favorite snack of all time and I don’t have any, torture! Lol. This was a great and very helpful tutorial. I have several sets of vintage sheet sets in the back of my linen closet, but I use them for drop cloths. I guess a little paint wouldn’t hurt the look of a journal.
The vintage sheet is very pretty!
Thank you so much for this demonstration, it's just what I needed!
Journal is amazing Love it. I have been on the search to create a better journal cover. Thank you
Lovely and so simple! Thanks for the handy tutorial!
Cheez-Itz boxes are the best!
YES Lauren, like dozens , I too, am addicted to journaling!!! These videos are magical & so inspirational, how can we not be addicted!! Happy journaling to all!!!
Oh I just love this! I’m all about how something feels in my hands. I love adding fabric elements in my journals and now I am inspired to add fabric on the outside, too!
Hi jessica, I'm not much of a comment person I just sit back and watch. But I just wanted to say even though I don't usually do pink and floral, this journal cover is gorgeous! I just love vintage fabric.
Well! Considering I have loads of fabric and a large amount of batting pieces of varying sizes…….love this idea!
Really helpful tutorial Jessica, thank you 😊
i love it
Jessica, Thank you so much! I really over-think things all the time. This process is going to help me tremendously! That fabric is amazing! Thanks again and God Bless!
Exactly what I was looking for!
This looks really pretty. The vintage sheet was beautiful, i will have to try to do this one day looks much easier than sewing garments 💖🖒
Thank you for showing us this! 🌸
I love this! Thank you for the great video on the padded journal cover. I’ve been wanting to try it and now you have inspired me to get going!
So helpful!! Thank you for the tutorial.....LOVE it and can't wait to try.
So cute and so helpful! TFS 🤗
I love this! Do you need a special needle to use in your sewing machine to sew through batting, cardboard and fabric? I’m not super educated in sewing lol, I just know how to do a little. Thank you 😊
Beautiful job. Very straight forward!
Simple, to the point and beautiful outcome. Thank you 😊
This is so beautiful!!! I need to try making one like this. I have vintage sheets too! 💞
I love the way you teach!!!
This was very helpful and quite lovely! Thank you!
I love this idea. I’m wondering if iron on batting would work? I may need to check this out. 😊
Very pretty!!! TFS❤️❤️❤️🌹🌹🌹❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for sharing. Can you show how you would add the signatures?
Yes! I see them in the same way every time and you can see how here (on a different journal ) ruclips.net/video/cgS53cG-4tk/видео.html
I love this! Haven't done a fabric cover yet but so want to try. Please, can someone give me advice on batting? I've never used it. Could I use a thick material like batting? (My crafting budget is getting very tight. Want to use what I have if I can...)
You’re not worried about getting glue in your machine?
Why does adding batting make a difference ? Pls just wondering as I always see people saying about adding batting?
It just makes the cover feel soft and a little plush
Umm what happened to the bench picture :) 😘
