Cleeter you are a true leader and someone who seems to genuinely care about the safety and even mental state of your employees. I'm glad I watched the outro. Keep on climbing brother!
When you heard the fear in Cleeter's voice as he ran you could tell he genuinely cared. The outro was a nice touch too, everything about it was class. The guy really cares about his friends/employees
So glad George is safe. You can hear the fear in everyone's voices when they were running. Suits on, helmets on, belts on and window nets up guys. We love the content you guys give us but we love you guys more. The cars and the content is nothing without you guys. As viewers we need to hound them as much as they will surely hound each other now about safety. So guys, lets make sure they stay on top of it. Stay safe you crazy bastards, we don't want you guys going anywhere.
My heart skipped a beat, for a moment all I could think of was "Not George!!!". Let's add real fire suppression systems to the entire fleet as well, they're pretty short money, fairly easy to fab in when the cage gets installed and pay for themselves 100 times over the one time that you actually have to pull the handle. Fire suits are nice and all (when people actually wear them), but real fire suppression systems can be amazing.
They also need to properly affix those windows nets in the Crown Vic races. They only use self-tapping screws. That'll go over like a whistlin' fart in church when something about takes out a driver.
THIS. When you mention it in one of their videos where they’re having a blast doing goofy things, people sometimes call you a total buzzkill. Like nah man, we just don’t want to have a tragic moments of terrible incident occur with people we like.
Thank God george is okay, and it really hit home watching everyone go into protection mode and making sure he was okay. God bless all of yall and thanks to God for watching over george!!!
I'm glad you guys recognize how dangerous it is. It's great that it only cost a car for you to rethink safety. Looking forward to seeing a lot more crazy content!

this is why this is the best drag ish RUclips channel. a man who owns up to his responsibilities and never lets anyone hanging while also creating the best content, big props keep it up
Sucks that this happened but it was really nice to see Cleet show immediate concern for his friend. It was also nice to see the end of the video where Cleet takes responsibility for what could and will happen. Thanks again for the years of videos.
I'm so happy for George. He went from hand porting heads and being bored every day to being part of a great team. We love him and it looks like he he's happy.
Gotta give George props for hanging on to that as long as he did. It's tough to steer a car when it's only got one wheel on the ground. He kept his cool and worked it to the end. Well done.
Couple things: 1. I am immensely grateful that George is ok...could have been way worse. 2. He was out of the pedal and onto the brakes WAY before that crash. Something was very off with that car, which brings me to... 3. You guys absolutely HAVE to do a shakedown run in these things way before you stick a driver in the cockpit and go full-send. Anyway, sounds like you all came away from the crash with a new outlook, some good lessons learned, a new museum piece...and undoubtedly a "Golly, what in the world?!" Fiero t-shirt. 🤣 Keep up the great work guys, and be safe.
My thoughts exactly. George wasnt even pushing it, got on the brakes early and you could tell the car just did NOT want to stop. Looked like a mixture of bad brakes and a very poorly set up suspension. Nothing he could do about it. That was bound to happen to anyone of them at some point
This x100. As this channel gets bigger more and more eyes are watching just waiting to find someone thing to bring it down. There’s a reason tv shows don’t do this kinda stuff in uncontrolled environments. If your going to do it be safe.
A once over on the safety equipment in the cars they didn't build would be good also. I know its cool to take a junk car and full send, but there is alot of shady built cars out there.
Great boss Cletus! Truly wonderful to see a guy who genuinely cares for his people, and that the money doesn't matter. Wish there were more people like you in the world
@Blizzard Extreme I mean cleetus ain’t worried about the money spent on the car but that would definitely pay for the car and a good start on building a new less sketchy one
I love how he didn’t fish for likes and make it worse than it was he literally turned it into a learning experience and kinda accidentally showed that behind all the fun and stuff you gotta be prepared for the crash, gotta love Cletus you never know what to expect but it’s always something great
That's Cleeter's way!! The thumbnails might occasionally look a little clickbaity to feed the algorithm but he's a Florida man... *what you see is absolutely what you get in the thumbnails!!*
There's a line between having fun and being scared when you're doing dangerous stuff. Everyone who watched this video got to see what happens when that line is crossed. Thank you for showing us this video and it's very obvious how much you care about your team Cleet. We're all glad no one was hurt and the only loss was a fiero. Yall did good that day. @@googleleavemynamealone9145 That does happen a lot when boys play, I wont speculate since we only see what in the videos but I hope he's doing it because he wants to and that its an environment where you can say: No, this is too sketchy for me, without backlash. Got to say though, as easy as it is to get lax with safety, George is quick to grab a helmet, even riding in the back of the marauder.
@@mandem9319 only going on what was shown and the fact that working on their cars recording it and showing us is a massive part of this channel. the energy of this video is boys get a new toy and forget everything and just want to see what it will do and then pay for it!! something me and my mates have done too many times!
Yeah anybody would feel bad about it. But it looked like he did everything he could. slow-mo it looks like the front brakes stopped working after it bounced. Or maybe it just bounced his foot off the pedal, he said it was in a shitty spot. but at that point, swerving was the only option, or else he was gonna land on the roof of the shop lol. No suspension + uneven ground + hard swerve = barrel rolls.
@@eddominates I have to give it to George though, I give that tumble, roll a solid 8.2 for creativity. Never let it be said they don’t use the ENTIRE track lol.

That's how true friends treat one another. Hats off to ya Cleeter, making sure your boy is good and not giving one flying you know what about the machine. Scary incidents open your eyes and gets those gears grinding about personal safety. Keep it moving forward and use the PPE available. Hell yeah brother!!!!!
George proved the crash cage does work. When you showed him with the neck brace on and you showed the car on its lid I thought the roof had collapsed in. The internal camera showed every thing but the brakes had worked correctly. The only thing he did wrong was no fire proof suit.
Doesn't matter if it's a $500 or $500,000 car or golf cart, peoples life and safety comes first, glad George is alright and that's all that matters, cars can be re-built, can't replace a life though.
We don't expect accidents, they just happen... but like you said to the guys, taking all of the easy, available precautions from this day forward will help keep an accident from turning into a tragedy. Glad you're ok George. Buenos many more Dias.
@@Don_Rodrigo44 Nope. Actually you're completely wrong and incorrect. The last time something sketchy happened they instituted a mandatory "EVERYONE MUST ALWAYS WEAR A HELMET AT THE FREEDOM FACTORY" rule and it is now strictly adhered to. So now they're just going to make it better by requiring everyone wear a firesuit with a helmet.
Whole reason I like Cleetus is he cares about his friends and family and their well-being and puts all that above the show all while remaining to have a wonderful infectious positive attitude to all around him, truly a cool dude!!!
Agreed. Accidents happen in the most unthought of time. Glad Senor Buenos Dias is good, will be really happy to see those guys follow through more on the safety stuff, I love this channel too much for something to happen to any of them.
Glad George is ok. It reminded me of Jay Leno going for a ride in Hemi Under Glass and getting rolled. Cleetus, you’re a stand up guy for how you handle your shop, and what goes in in it.

@3:35 you can hear George say “This thing looks dangerous” there was some wild foreshadowing in this video. Glad George is okay, and great to see the crew come together to make sure he was okay.
I'm glad the Fiero is already over and done with, and I'm truly glad that you are all committed to taking your safety seriously now. If that's all that came from the Fiero purchase, it was well worth every penny.
So much respect for you keeping the safety talk in the video. Everyone makes mistakes and the important thing is that we learn from them and move foreward better from it!! Glad everyone's okay and let's have a safe and fun rest of 2022!
George did a hell of a job trying to thread that needle to avoid a wall. In addition to helmet, suit & belts, I would add a neck support as standard equipment.
Glad George is OK. Happy seeing and feeling the concern in everyone for a fellow team member. Good job guys getting to George so fast! On a side note since we love George's one liners and all around good humor...can we get a GOLLY!! Shirt
Same exact thing happened at Irwindale ca. infield with jay leno riding shotgun with hemi under glass. Mixing a drag car with infield track is entertaining but never enough shutdown area!!
Your truly a genuine guy Cleetus, Much respect to you brother for seeing family over business. George is family and cars are just fun objects. George glad your ok brother, I know you were probably feeling that on your back in the morning. That was crazy how that happened. My favorite part is Garret’s genuine concern for George. He didn’t care about that car at all and was the fastest giraffe out there to make sure his boy was good. Also props to Sam for putting in the effort to flip that car back over.
last clip really solidifys why i love watching cleetus, his view on anything that happens is 100% what should be the view for everyone taking part in these activities
The best kind of safety lesson is the one where no one gets hurt, Glad George is OK. We love the crazy stuff, but never worth someone getting hurt. Keep being awesome, guys!
That was the absolute best way to end this video. Cars are replaceable, people aren't. Cleetus you are an absolute stand up dude for the way you handled the whole situation and the way you care about your employees and friends.
One thing I really enjoy watching your channel is you don't get excited and berate anyone when something breaks or doesn't run right or even when they mess up a vehicle. George's laugh is contagious. Happy to see he wasn't hurt
I love how genuine you all are. At the end when everyone, even Sam, owned up to their safety shortcomings, just shows how real y'all are. Major respect for everyone and way to show the world what matters most to genuine car guys.
Since safety is a talking point, something I've noticed forever is Cleetus needs to get better at putting his helmet lens down. If you ever have a flash up or cabin fire you'll be thankful you did!!
They all leave the lens up so they can be herd talking to the camera. Guess none of them know they can use external mic so they can actually be herd better and no need to scream so they can be herd in video's.
What I noticed was the lack of a submarine belt which would’ve held him in the seat not allowed the belts to shift and him fall out damn near. Had that thing flipped more than once it would’ve been really bad. Roll cage don’t help when your heads above it
Cleetus you’re a top bloke. The way you are always making sure everyone around you is safe and having the best time possible is awesome. Keep up the great work mate. I really hope to come to the freedom factory over the next couple years but I’m from Australia so it’s a rather expensive trip lol
The fact that cleet took the time at the end of the video to say f the car as long as everyone is ok speaks volumes about this guy! I actually got to meet him briefly at ls fest in bg stand up guy!
Ive never wheelied a car, but Ive been riding dirtbikes, mopeds and big bikes since i was 15. judging by the bouncy front end your probably best of doing a 5-10mph rolling start speed up a lil (like a single blip no clutch, in gear) hit your brakes hard, let it bounce and full throttle to get it up to Balance point.
Much respect for the ending, you can tell your truly friends with your group! So many people would obsess over damage and I know it takes a big weight off George’s shoulder!
It’s just like in the movie business, Stunt guy’s job, and his job is do his job what ever it takes that’s what he signed up for. George have BRASS BOOOOOLLLS . He is the guy. Out of group he is brave to go out there and perform. BRAVE HEART. Freedom Factory is awesome.

@@bluflaam777LSA with Georges body in that scrunched sitting position hahaha
@@blue95m3 That... is pure gold!
This needs to be a Tshirt design for sure
That was the funniest reaction to a roll over!! Glad he's ok.
The guy really cares about his friends/employees
who came back to watch this 2024
Showed up on my home page / recommended feed !
I know he said it’ll never be operated again. Wonder if he at least kept it
Damn straight 🤘🏼
I did
Me lol I watch to much Cleetus lol
The genuine concern that comes from Cleetus is just so heart warming. He cares so much about his best friends rightfully so!
Thank God george is okay, and it really hit home watching everyone go into protection mode and making sure he was okay. God bless all of yall and thanks to God for watching over george!!!
Amen to that Brother.
I'm glad you guys recognize how dangerous it is. It's great that it only cost a car for you to rethink safety. Looking forward to seeing a lot more crazy content!
Real friends in the freedom factory. All running in George’s time of need. Excellent team work to evaluate George’s condition and to control the fuel spill.
this is why this is the best drag ish RUclips channel. a man who owns up to his responsibilities and never lets anyone hanging while also creating the best content, big props keep it up
Well said!
So much respect to you Cleeter, I could hear the fear in your voice that your friend might have been hurt. Glad Georgie is all good. Cheers boys
12:40 “I just don’t know if we should ever run it again…” foreshadowing to September 2024. Glad all are okay!
Sucks that this happened but it was really nice to see Cleet show immediate concern for his friend. It was also nice to see the end of the video where Cleet takes responsibility for what could and will happen. Thanks again for the years of videos.
Glad George is ok. I bet the wheelie bars are not the only things with fresh marks
That's exactly why it's a good thing he wasn't wearing the suit this time round lol, it'd never have been the same!
@@danmackintosh6325 he was talking about fresh marks as in he shit his pants 😂

Window net down worries me the worst in those scenarios. Waiting on an arm to fly out and get crushed. Glad you’re ok George!!!
window net?? there was no windshield lmaooo
He did a great job of holding on to the wheel
@@andrewk4882 Sure, the belts were lose, but he did not reach out the windshield.
Who here after finding out George done it again
I'm so happy for George. He went from hand porting heads and being bored every day to being part of a great team. We love him and it looks like he he's happy.
Gotta give George props for hanging on to that as long as he did. It's tough to steer a car when it's only got one wheel on the ground. He kept his cool and worked it to the end. Well done.
Exactly! And not to mention it’s got a trailer axle in the front! He did pretty good lol
Couple things:
Keep up the great work guys, and be safe.
My thoughts exactly. George wasnt even pushing it, got on the brakes early and you could tell the car just did NOT want to stop. Looked like a mixture of bad brakes and a very poorly set up suspension. Nothing he could do about it. That was bound to happen to anyone of them at some point
Spot on
It looked like the biggest issue with those brakes was the suspension of the car. Brakes don't work if the tires are off the ground.
"Golly, what in the world?"
That's a t-shirt haha.
Glad George is ok!
gah lee*
it’s a fucking t shirt now😂😂😂
Haha that’s awesome. Just might have to buy one
Just got my signed Tshirt, came back to rewatch to pay homage lmao
@@griffingooch1722 haha I'm kinda jealous I didn't get a signed T-shirt.
Great boss Cletus! Truly wonderful to see a guy who genuinely cares for his people, and that the money doesn't matter. Wish there were more people like you in the world
Only George could bring the wrong end of a wheelie machine off the ground.
Glad you're ok George.
George, HUGE barrel roll guy.
Glad he’s okay. 🤙
🤔😟😎😏🤣😂
@Blizzard Extreme I hope you’re right. I’ll take one. 😂
To hear the concern in Garrett's voice and the team as it happened was something else. To see George okay and hear rule changes was awesome
Looking forward to some more videos Cleet even if they're not "we bought this crazy thing" videos.
I think they have just been pushing George a little too hard out of his comfort zone and being nervous is dangerous when around these machines
@@googleleavemynamealone9145 also they didnt do due diligence and check over the car before ripping it
@@Dan-mu5oy that's a bold assumption
@@mandem9319 only going on what was shown and the fact that working on their cars recording it and showing us is a massive part of this channel. the energy of this video is boys get a new toy and forget everything and just want to see what it will do and then pay for it!! something me and my mates have done too many times!
I feel bad for George. I know he’s feeling pretty bad that about damaging it. You could see it in his face. Glad y’all are good. Cheers
@@overanDownUnder He definitely get style points lol
coming back to watch this video 5 months later for the second time it’s even funnier listening to all the talking before the ending (and knowing what the ending is) this is hilarious. glad George was alright!!
Sam needs his own line of Cleetus shirts. He is a legend.
Put it on the chip
Having Sam around just makes everything much more wholesome.
Sent an email to cleetus to have him and Sam make a detail kit. The “hell yeah buffer” special 🤣
Uncle Sam tee-shirt
I feel like he said no because they mentioned it before
The roll cage did its job, George is safe, its a damn good day when you can walk away. Stay safe guys. Lets have some fun
That was my take away as well. It was decently built but probs needed a once over before ripping lol.
Cleeter: "OH SHIT!"
George: "GOLLY!"
Not even in a rolled car will George swear, what a legend! I know I'd throw some F bombs if I were in his shoes.
Came here to write this. I'd probably drop 36 F bombs in 3 seconds haha.
😂😂😂
Golly has to be THE most American thing to say at a moment like that 😂
Yep, "golly what in the world" lol
Even ole cleet had a shit
We don't expect accidents, they just happen... but like you said to the guys, taking all of the easy, available precautions from this day forward will help keep an accident from turning into a tragedy. Glad you're ok George. Buenos many more Dias.
except everytime something sketchy happens he always says this and nothing happens
Glad you're all taking safety more seriously. An accident was bound to happen eventually. Just super grateful that George is ok!
Agreed. Accidents happen in the most unthought of time. Glad Senor Buenos Dias is good, will be really happy to see those guys follow through more on the safety stuff, I love this channel too much for something to happen to any of them.
The sound in cleters voice as hes running is genuine fear that his friend is hurt, glad to see people are more important than a chunk of metal
Same thing when Coopers Camaro caught fire. Garrett definitely values friendship overall... At this point they're more family than friends
Glad George is ok. It reminded me of Jay Leno going for a ride in Hemi Under Glass and getting rolled. Cleetus, you’re a stand up guy for how you handle your shop, and what goes in in it.
I remember that, it was just about as random, too! Would've never guessed that would've happened when it did, was a shame about the Hemi, though...😭
@14:00 - LOL - I watched this video after all the recent jet boat videos… which were sketchy w/ sinking boat in powerful river w/ George who can’t swim. Glad you all are safe! A+ video as always.
My dad was a pilot. His philosophy was always: any landing you can walk away from is a good one. I am glad to see George is ok.
And keep your nose up in the turns. Lol! My dad was also a pilot. He would always say that all the time instead of normal Bye, be careful. No idea what it means but always made me laugh.
And any landing where you can use the plane again is a great landing.
That “driveway edit” bit was a great ending Cleet. Good that you shared that both of info with your audience.
You’re a good human mate. Keep it up.

I'm glad the Fiero is already over and done with, and I'm truly glad that you are all committed to taking your safety seriously now. If that's all that came from the Fiero purchase, it was well worth every penny.

Would it have been fun to watch? Sure.
Was my first thought “how long before someone gets hurt?” Yep!
Glad George turned out okay. Hearing everyone truly worry and express concern was terrifying. Love you guys, man.
Shirt

Man there are still plenty of killer wheelies left in that thing. Buff that $hit out and try her again!
But this time put some shock absorbers in it so it doesn't bounce and lose contact with the floor.
And fix the rear brakes.
Sam can fix the paint ...lmao

George straight up 86’d that Fiero. Whistlin Diesel is proud; “if it’s red it’s dead” as they say
Love it =)
The fact that cleet took the time at the end of the video to say f the car as long as everyone is ok speaks volumes about this guy!
George was crushed that he just did that and you continue to amaze me how awesome you treat your guys!

Much respect for the ending, you can tell your truly friends with your group! So many people would obsess over damage and I know it takes a big weight off George’s shoulder!
