Cleetus you really know how to take care of your employees. George's car looks fabulous. He'll have to install a roll-cage to make it look genuine.
And to stay alive!
Plus, we know he likes doing kick flips in cars so gotta make sure we protect him.
When George cracks up laughing, I can’t help but crack up myself 😂👌🏻
Man I have a 89 5.0 Hatchback Mustang been trying to get painted for 15yrs, now gotta have a total knee replacement Aug 1st, would love to let you and your guys get this thing wrapped real nice. Let me know man and oh yeah, hell yea brother!!!!!!
I hope you pay Sam REALLLY well. That man is a magician!
I'm sure they worked something out, but Sam ain't hurting. I promise.
He refuses to get paid.
@@billmadison2032 yep he just loves hanging around fellow car guys
But I’m sure he finds little ways to give back to Sam
I don't know anything about the situation, but I know a lot of old dudes. They don't want to be paid, they just want to hang out with the boys.
@@Elon425 exactly, Sam seems to be having the time of his life being a big kid again
The engine might be able to take a 150 shot but the TRANSMISSION... another story 🤣
Glass transmission smh 😂
I had a GP gxp. The trans was horrible
Yep. I had a supercharged 07 Grand Prix. Same trans. It just randomly quit one day.
4T80e swap incoming?
Those little burnouts alone probably fried it 😂
Careful with the hole shots in that. Those transmissions are a glass cannon I spent lots of money years ago trying to go fast with one.
Ahaha as soon as I saw the silhouette I thought oh no. Lol
im sure once it blows out theyll get a built 4t65e-hd in there (the stock 4t65e-hd is good for ~350 but i know those v8 SS ship at around 300hp already) or figure out some way to get a 4t80e from the cadillacs in there (probably the better option). i northstar swapped my 99 monte because it was way easier than trying to convert the LS or 60*v6 to the 4t80e (you have to swap basically the whole subframe to mount the trans, so why not just put the northstar in too?).
LS4 king has made the 4T80 happen many times and has one with 1kHP
@@lmking84 oh damn thats sick! i honestly really havent looked into the progress on the wbodys since i got rid of my monte in 2013; guess ill have to do some new reading and youtubing :)
I made 300whp 15 years ago on a built 4t65e hd and it had trouble living on the street. You just can’t build a 4t65e hd enough; a 4t80 would be better but I’m not sure what kind of aftermarket there is for hard parts for that trans.
Anytime you think about what the heck does cleatus's Grandpa Sam even do around the freedom factory shop, He is constantly cleaning. Shining. And polishing the beautiful rides and the freedom factory shop. God bless that man. Sam is a great dude.
Judging by the outline in the thumbnail, I thought for sure it was a Dale Earnhardt edition Monte Carlo. But nonetheless a heck of a thing to do for an employee. This whole channel is just the best!
Dude, I had a smile from start to finish. Awesome Garrett. Glad you're taking care of your boys. You have the best crew
i just love how excited yall get for non expensive cars and have fun
Cleetus you have a huge heart of gold 💛. Jesus would be proud of you taking care of your boys like u do. God bless you and your family and crew
@Amy Taylor doing well .thnk u. God bless you 🙏
Hey cleet. The noise inside the car is the blend door actuator. $20 and make sure to have extra on hand. they go bad ALL the time 🤣
That shouldn’t kill the battery with key off should it?
@@totalyep they turn on all the time. Anytime I open any door they turn on. I have 2 out rn
My 2003 impala I owned for 5 years, went through 6 and lots of other electrical gremlins..... mainly headlights. Also liked to lock me out of the computer so I couldn't start it. Good times 😂
The fix is buy bronze gears for a r/c car servo and put them in place of the nylon gears they always strip teeth on the nylon gears
100 miles each way. Sounds like George needs a helicopter to daily.
He needs a company credit card to buy gas if he doesn’t already
@@Robrt32 I'm sure cleet pays all his guys very well
They should get him a mosquito heli... that would be dope
They need to get him to move closer that kind of driving isn’t sustainable.
@@fredmortensen5107 it’s definitely sustainable when you’re whippin 200 miles a day in that pure American muscle Monte SS with Dale Earnhardt running thru it’s veins 🦅❤️🤍💙🇺🇸
All aluminum 5.3s are pretty rare, only came in a few cars and a tiny number of trucks.
Hope they do full exhaust, decent cam
Believe it or not the stock headers flow VERY well. It's the downpipe back and intake mani that kill the power
Cleet your genuine understanding of shit happens is amazing.
Sure he hit the fresh wall but “go get another car” was truly a show of character and you overflow with enthusiasm and understanding it’s amazing keep on keepin on man!!!!!
I loved how hyped he is about anything! Love me some georgy action!
Y’all should definitely put stealies and an exhaust on the monte, maybe a duck bill wing too?
Adhesive roof scoop?
love what the journey of this channel has become cleet, thanks
Congrats George. Great job Sam on that clean up job. What a great friend and boss you are Garrett. Bless you all. Stay safe.
He’s a hell of a boss man. To buy his employee a car.
That HVAC issue can be solved by replacing the affected blend door acuator..
Also, I know these came with a weird offset for the tires/ wheels. It was GMs way of countering the torque steer in these SS models
LS4 King has what you’re gonna need when this transmission takes a dump. Because it’s gonna happen…. Ask me how I know 😂
I have a 2007 Grand Prix GXP with the same engine and transmission. I completely agree! The transmission is the weak link here. The engine stock is 305hp while the trans is rated for only a 160hp V6. Every one of them is setup for failure.
@@jimboyne3385 yup I have the 08 Buick LaCrosse Super after like 5 months of owning it the transmission went out probably didn't help that I beat on it
I said the same. My mother owns a 07 ss.
i agree with this cuz my buddies took a shit and now he has a stage 2 trans By Nicholas transmissions Texas speed LS4 cam ls6 intake and Throttle body DOD delete Upgraded valve Springs and alot more goodies
How do you know...
