As a new freelancer on Upwork, I’m struggling to boost my proposals! I’ve sent over 10 proposals, but none of them show the option to boost. Is this feature limited to certain freelancers, or am I missing something? Any advice would be a huge help-I haven’t been able to land a client yet. Thanks so much for any guidance you can give!

I realise there's a dedication section for requesting external testimonials but I don't want to use Upwork to send these invites because at the beginning I don't want people I've worked with to know I'm on Upwork.
Do you recommend paying the monthly fee for the "Plus" plan in Upwork? I am brand new with zero reviews or hires yet. Will this help increase my odds of getting hired? Also, great content, thanks so much for the videos!
Can one be hired by a remote friend? It feels like I need a great profile with work history to get the job but I need the job to get a good profile. I'm very depressed!

Yeah you need capital. Upwork isn't a platform you want to use if you're starting with 0.

Maybe you can create a Google Doc page containing all testimonials and put the link on your profile? Just an idea

If there's a way, then it's possible but with risk. Upwork will ban both of you if they know you setup that particular job for the sake if review.
