I'm new on upwork, i have a few connect, which i didnt buy coz i opened upwork few years ago but i wasnt using it, now I've been using it no one is even noticing my proposal , I've done all i know how to do, no one is seeing my proposal, it's as if i'm wasting the connect. I've never landed a job on upwork even with my skills, please help!

9-5 is consistent income and it's stable

I got a nice top rated badge on upwork but a stupid client gave a low rating and it was removed -the badge. People or clients on upwork are a pain in the 😢😢. I only got 1k on 5 months as beginner. There also soo many spam scams jobs. Posting bids cost connects and money, 12-17 connects? No way.

So my solution is to provide daily updates, even if I only did a small amount of work, as long as I keep the client updated. Then, make sure to add some allowance when setting your project timeline. This issue usually happens when there's a **third party** involved before the project reaches you. Since then, I stopped accepting projects from **middlemen or agencies** because the problem with agencies is that they often promise things to their clients without fully understanding the actual work. Most of the time, they even **mark up the project price**, which is why it’s best to **interview the client yourself** and ask about their background before accepting a project. Freelancing isn’t easy, but if you land a **good client, your earnings on Upwork can be BOOMBASTIC!** Also, if you encounter a **bad client, be honest in your review**-don’t be afraid of getting a bad review. It’s always better for **you to end the contract first** rather than letting the client do it.

Bro, I feel you. I have the same problem and I see you're rather creating a video about procrastinating rather than the video you should be creating. 😅 I know what you mean. I have so many great ideas but Im working on the stuff that I shouldn't be working on. So much distraction. Yesterday I was talking to all the ideas in my head telling them they have to prioritize themselves, I'm not just going to be working on anything, figure it out and give me the most important, and just like that, I knew what was most important lol. I'm know I'm crazy right? Your mind is the problem. Let it agree with you then everything will line up. Feel me?

Sounds like you need to review your reasons for doing what you do. If you have a strong enough reason, you'd be pressed to do it. You need a mission statement, and you need to stick by it. You'll be unmotivated from time to time, but when you do, go back to your mission statement and let it seep in. Also, it wouldn't hurt to join a community of people who do what you do so you can mutually encourage each other and exchange ideas. Just my 2 cents. Hope it helped.😐

how do you actually get yourself to stick to the routine tho? and more importantly how do you give up stuff that brings you happiness and pleasure to create a routine for these more important things?

I had this problem in the past. My problem was we have learnt to do the “big picture” the “80/20”. You can also translate this “ the interesting stuff “ but you see. The “details” are just as important but no one talks about it. This means when the system isnt working you need to stop and think before continuing OR this means. To put the bread in the drawer. Instead of saying i will do it later

You are absolutely right about the "want to do" and "should do" stuff! That's one of the thing I have noticed about myself if that I love doing new stuff, learning new things and starting a new project, but I give up before finishing them! I have struggled with procrastination for years too. I gave up blogging because of that. I just couldn't continue doing it.
