    I’m 48 years old, and I’ve been taking BIOTE hormone replacement therapy for 4 months, just got my 2nd hormone pallet. It’s increased my libido tremendously, my blood pressure is normal again, I’ve lost some weight, my skin has improved, I love how its helped my relationship when I thought it was over, I had no interest. After my 2nd month on this HRT I have a drive for life again, I just can’t explain how amazing I feel. I thank my amazing gynecologist for recommending this to me as I was already hitting menopause. Thank you for this podcast, I agree with everything Suzanne somers said about it. Life changing 🙏🏼

      All types of estrogen cause cancer, quit taking the estrogen.
      Natural progesterone is anti-cancer. Natural progesterone is good to take.
      All of the estrogens cause cancer. No one should ever take estrogen.
      As you may know, her cancer came back and killed her. It was probably the estrogen that caused it.

    I started at 66 years of age and it's been over a year. It takes time also to "wake up" the receptors. It is difficult to find a good doctor, also. I'm on my third. It is true, you MUST educate yourself. You will not know you are wasting lots of money and time with someone unless you understand what is going on. I've had to read half a dozen books, email doctors, youtube videos, medical studies to try and get good info. It is not easy, but it is worth it. I am back at the gym for the first time in decades.

      Start googling Hormone Replacement Therapy near you. Only go to someone who knows what they are doing. Blood work first, start slow, BIO IDENTICAL HORMONES are the key words. I started 2 months ago and holy cow…has made a difference. I didn’t know I had such problems until I started to see a difference. I go in once a week and get a shot, they are starting slow and checking blood every 6 weeks. They will eventually go to pellets. Do not allow anything in mouth or a patch, walk away if they say that it’s a pill or patch.

      @brbrkadir 2 года назад

      @Karin -patch is transdermal (through the skin) formulation of the HRT. It can be one or more hormones depending on the formulation you use. @Jacquelin What state are you in? We are making the designer (individually formulated) HRT in all kinds of form: from troche (kind of like hard candy) to creams, suppositories and so on. Question on what consider the Bio Identical is a bit wider. Do you mean structurally similar to the hormones that the body produce or do you mean pharmacological profile (time life in blood, max concentration etc) similar to the naturally occurring? It's not necessary the same thing, nor every woman wants to go through the menstrual periods again. I second you that transdermal (especially micronized progesterone and estrogens) has better safety profile that pills.

It caused frightening cardiovascular symptoms. I'm also a survivor of a cardiac spasm heart attack that put me into cardiac arrest so my cardiovascular system is still very reactive. I was put on a second aromatase inhibitor that produced the same threatening cardiovascular symptoms. So now I will start taking Tamaxafin next week. I am also visiting this video for the same reason. My late husband was Alan’s cousin and I remember going to Suzannes sons wedding many years ago. The three cousins of Alan were all doctors, I am making this point because the younger brother a GP suggested many years ago that instead of going on HRT I go on Evista. Please look it up. I took his advice and at the time I was diagnosed with osteo pina and was being carefully watched. The best advice ever, as a result my bones are solid and I was protected from breast cancer.. I am one year older than Suzanne and I flew for a Canadian Airline for over 35 years. Two years ago I broke my ankle because of my inappropriate boots, and when healed I was given a bone scan and my doctor said I had better bones than him and he is in his forties. Now looking Evista up it states it also helps with bone loss. I have no aches or pains and my hair is thick and my skin is the same. Being on my mother side of Italian descent (Florence), I have lived on a Mediterranean diet all my life. Since I live on Vancouver Island I eat a lot of Salmon to. I am only writing this to share my experience. Suzanne Somers was a lovely person in all aspects. I know two women in their eighties still on HRT, although warned they have no problems. Thank you for your time. Rest in Peace Suzzane
