@ photographer lol. Yeah that Baltic is too small for me and I’ve always like it. So I was hopeful for a Seiko ripoff!! 😂 all good. The dream continues
@@tonydilucente2342 Thank you so much Tony! I really like the Brew designs, hopefully I can get my hands on one soon so I can do a review! Thank you for watching and commenting, I truly appreciate it!
Thanks for the video. I like that you looked mainstream as well as micro brand. I’m sure you’ve seen these as well, but for a GADA watch under $500, the Erebus Ascent is one I can recommend. Mine runs a little slow, something like 12 seconds per day, but man it looks great and fits the wrist very nicely.
Yes, I follow “Just One More Watch” which I’m sure you already know is one of the owners. They are great looking watches! I plan to reach out and try to get one in for review. Thank you so much for taking the time to watch and comment, it is truly appreciated!
Good group of watches. I know that Baltic was out of range but it's just a beautiful watch. Definitely would be on my list if I could afford it. Thank you for the great review!
Thank you so much Roger! The Baltic may just be my favorite on this list. It is just an unbelievably beautiful watch. I truly appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment!
I hope your arm is okay - you threw a lot of curveballs with this. 😊 If you watch a lot of content on a subject, you see a lot of the same picks among creators but with this video I predicted only two: the Seiko and Hamilton. Some very original choices in this, well done.
Good video and solid choices. I’ve never paid near MSRP at my local AD. When I use cash they normally give me 25-30 percent off. I got the white khaki mechanical for 420 flat and my Seiko Turtle for 340 (both listed above 500). Taking that into consideration, I think most of your original picks are attainable. That said, I haven’t seen Baltic in any places around here.
1000% agree with you and i meant to bring that up because all of the picks could be pick up new on eBay for under budget. The Turtle is an awesome watch, $340 is a killer deal. I appreciate you taking to time to watch and comment!
@ Of course! Considering the Turtle is around 500 (before tax), I’m pretty happy with the discount. It gave me room to order the compatible Seiko bracelet and still only come to 450, all in. It’s pretty much my every day wear, so I get my money’s worth. I actually sold and gave away about a dozen watches this past year, to make sure I get the most out of what remains. The more they’re on your wrist, the more memories you can imprint on them and hand down :).
We have similar tastes in watches -- I own the Brew, the Baltic, the Bulova Lunar Pilot, the Orient, and the Hamilton Khaki. 🙂. --- The Brew gets the most wrist time and the most attention from others by far. It is an awesome watch. Mine is the Brew Metric Retro dial.
All tasteful choices! I have a Brew myself - the Retro Metric - and I love how playful and "funky" the design is. Especially when we have so many new watches nowadays that just point to each others' design language, differentiation plays a bigger part for careful buyers.
@@BlueCollarLuxe Absolutely. Baltic is a little more controversial since their prices tend to command a higher premium compared to the movements they use but hey - I like their sharp designs. My only gripe with it is that the polished bezel area on my MR01 is so large and picks up scratches soooo easily. RIP
The Bambino is an absolute value at that price point. I like the Hamilton and live less than an hour away from Lancaster, PA where the Hamilton reputation was actually built.

Bulova’s rich history should be more appreciated, a former American brand now under the umbrella of The Citizen Group. Casio and Citizen are my two favorite watch companies. I love a good Japanese or Swiss Quartz movement. 👌🏼 That said some microbrands like San Martin, Henry Archer, and Erebus are on fire, so much value/quality for money. Picked up a Vero Workhorse last year and love it. 👌🏼
They have really cool designs and to be honest the only reason I haven’t bought one yet is because they are only 36mm. That is the problem with online only brands, I really wanna try one on before buying. Thank you for watching!

@@BlueCollarLuxe ok, I’m sorry, I must have been smoking crack. I just checked my order history om Bulova’s website and I purchased the Lunar Pilot in June of 2023 for $767 after tax. Sorry about that. I’ll delete my comment soon. Again, my apologies
