The Cat costume feels like something you would make if somebody DESCRIBED furries to you but you'd never actually seen one and you had to guess
AI-generated furry
Kinda doesnt look that different from the real fursuit to me tbh
It sounds like something you’d make if you described furries to an elderly person who’s never seen one and the description sounded so horrifying to them that when making the costume they thought it must be for some kinda horror movie
To be fair he's like one of the og furries
Oblivion Khajit furry
Adams crush as his screen saver
That's a wallpaper.
It's a desktop background.
@@ThreadBomb same thing but true too
@@xblade149 Completely different things.
Of course it's the vore scene.
The actual is speedrun is in 1h 24m 55s by Gavynmuench, he will (quote) "defend this record until I die." So he's ready for you Adum.
For once Adum did not break the game, the game broke Adum.
Lol, yup. It's a first! 🤣
The game came pre-broken. There was only one other thing to break
Pretty sure that movie was THE low point for literally everyone involved. Even the kid who was in both the Santa Clause sequels probably feels a special kind of regret over this one.
Probably, and that kid has an actual award named after him for terrible child actor performances (The Spencer Breslin Award)
You’re pretty right since it’s considered one of the worst movies ever made
The kid was also in The Happening. Imagine willing to go from shitty 2000s kids films to be in more adult oriented films and that first attempt at doing it is being an M. Night Shyamalan comedy.
He regretted it so much he went into music or something instead of acting anymore lmao.
Actually, Mike Myers hit a lower low, absolute rock bottom, 5 years later with the Love Guru. That film literally retired him from acting, lmao.
That kid kicked sand in Mike Myers's face!
Hot damn how I laugh at Erik Estrada saying that in a loop
And Dakota Fanning is crying.
@@ihvojd well maybe she shouldn't have rat hair.
tHeRe he Is!
And _where_ is The Cat in the hat?
So Scoot is the reason for taking those Seuss books from the print.
I now understand.
God damn it, Scoot!!!
Sorry guys
Adam has never seen cat in the hat???? Adum we’re gonna need a video of u and scoot watching
New Adum and Pals
He was like grown or a teenager when it came out so it makes sense I guess 🤷♀️
Future Adum & Pals
It's required viewing for anyone who's name is "Your Movie Sucks"
Wish granted
You know you're playing a quality game when "Play Movie Trailer" is a main menu option.
Even the Cloudy With a Chance of Meatballs game did not have that, I think, I spend probably like 100 hours on that game as a kid, but I am not actually sure now.
I haven't seen platforming this bad since dinner at Mr. Bubsy’s place
You know it's bad when it makes you fondly think of Catwoman's platforming
@@joey_bonzo anyways how is your *gex* life?
Ahhh the 2000’s. When you get movie tie in games, and the VA's for the characters aren’t played by the actors from the movies, so they get some shitty sound-a-likes that sounds nothing like them.
Those were the days!
Only movie tie-in game that used some of the actors I can recall were some of the Lord of the Rings games. They spared no expense with that franchise.
@@Guymanbot97 that’s cuz Tolkien would have came back from his grave to kick their ass for fucking up his work.
@@gamingforever9121 If only he came back from the dead to kick the assess of whom ever ruined The Hobbit films.
@@Guymanbot97 The Fantastic Four video game had the cast.
The feet stomping in every other scene just makes the video 10% better.
I think a playthrough of Sherlock Holmes vs Jack the Ripper would be incredible for this channel.
Honestly, you'd have so much fun playing it. It somehow manages to be a good game that's hilarious at the same time because of Watson's dead eyes and teleportation abilities.
A time capsule of when society saw Austin Powers & said to Mike "You can play anything"
Now all we need is a Cool Cat game so Adum can complete the trilogy of cat game masterpieces (The cat in the hat, catwoman and Cool Cat)
The Jim Carrey Grinch movie has a key party joke in it.
I played this game on PS2 more times than I think was acceptable for shovel-ware. Same can be said for the movie.
It's interesting how this PC version is similar to the console one but redone for lower spec machines.
@@CaptainHugoAhoy Was gonna say how this looks a lot worse compared to the console version.
@@CaptainHugoAhoy A lot of shittier PC-to-console ports of the time were like that.
Same but with the Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs game, besides Mario Party 9 I probably spent most of the time playing that game on the Wii.
I remember owning a Cat in the Hat Pc game that was really just you going through the house and the "game" giving you info about what happens in the movie through a slideshow.
is this a game parents give to their furry children to convert them to into christian hetero normies?
Worked on me
No, it's what I buy when I can't afford Clockwork Knight since that seems to be the exact identical gameplay lmao
Can I just say how much I love the art of Adum and Scoot in the thumbnails? So funny, seriously, mad props to the artist!
This game is giving me anxiety.
i wonder how badly Adam wants to be the mouse in his screen saver
Holy fuck can we get an Adum and Pals for this movie please
7:31 Are those the “jive turkeys” from Pierce’s dad’s video game from that _Community_ episode?
It's so weird because The Cat in the Hat felt like what the James Gunn Scooby-Doo movie wanted to be, basically made for adults with a lot of adult jokes but just vague enough that it COULD be seen as a kids' movie. It feels like the movie wanted to be more explicit but it got toned down before it came out so kids could watch it with their parents.
I want Adam and Scoot to do a full commentary on The Cat in The Hat film. Please!
I remember watching the mike Meyers cat in the hat movie and loving it. Looking back, the cat is one of the most terrifying creatures I have ever laid my eyes on
I used to play this on PS2 so much as a kid, I don't remember much from it but the one thing that always stuck with me is the bonus rounds which are missing in this PC version for some reason. The keys are supposed to open a door to a bonus room and that was always the most fun part of the game to young me. Very strange they left that out of the PC version.
when the cat in the hat gets hit by something he says "aah" and it sounds like when shrek says "aah! help! run!" in the shrek movie
RIP Scoot
I love watching him play PS2 era movie tie-in games. Can't wait for him to tackle A Series of Unfortunate Events.
The first three Harry Potter games for PS2 as well! Anything after Prisoner of Azkaban for HP games is trash.
Spider Man 2 is great, but the first Tobey Maguire game is pretty decent as well even if it is more like the PS1 games by design.
The Cat in the Hat movie could be an excellent Adum & Pals commentary!
He should play the Harry Potter games for PS2 (mostly Sorcerer’s/Philosopher’s Stone, Chamber of Secrets and Prisoner of Azkaban), cause why not? Also, he should play a game for the Wii called Endless Ocean and it’s sequel. Very underrated game for the Wii that I loved playing as a kid (mainly the second one, the first one was meh).
God I loved the Harry Potter games as a kid even though I never really liked the movies. They were pretty fun
@@ciriknockoff5738the stealth missions terrified me with those games. Like Harry sneaking past prefects just to do something for Hermione late at night and the music for those was the creepiest part of it. It was more life threatening than dealing with Voldemort.
@@ciriknockoff5738 the ones for PC were decent. The PS versions though will give you nightmares
@@carter_lovejoy remember the noise gnomes make in the first part? Creepy af
@@tertiaritus I never played the PC versions but I’ve seen people play them on RUclips.
YOU HAVEN'T SEEN The Cat in the Hat !!!. YOU HAVE NOT LIVED SIR
Ow damn, my PAWWW at 2:09 lmao
(Thanks for the cameo Adum!)
I'm dead all the Shane jokes 🤣 they still pop up in everyone's videos so randomly like yeah we still remember that 😂
9:05 Love Adums meowing 😂😹
7:32 I legit nearly spat out my drink seeing those “cool dudes,” that is so horrible 😂
Fun fact: The voice actor for the goldfish is Nolan North. Yes, THAT Nolan North. We all gotta start somewhere, I guess.
15:15 The “Adum and Pals watching Cat in the Hat 2003” video brought me here!
Alec Baldwin was in a weird phase at this time, he was in both Cat in the Hat and Thomas and the Magic Railroad I think back to back.
Thank for for playing my favourite game of all time, it's such an indie classic
All of Scoots comments about Alec Baldwin have aged like fine milk!
This game was amazing to me as a kid. I also had the GBA version since 90% of what we had as kids in my house were movie tie-ins.
Dakota Fanning at 1:58 looks like Laura Palmer doing the slow demented smile up at the ceiling fan.
I don't think I took closer look at Adum's desktop before...
He has some tools and generic apps and AnyDVD which took my attention (but apparently every other disc tool has animal on icon).
Then there are some games. SH3,4, Halo, Jazz Jackrabbit 1 _and_ 2, and Minecraft for some reason.
And finally there are some interesting stuff like "solid black" image, "gayms" text file, and Yiffalicius because why would not put it on desktop.
We need an adum and pals reaction to the film, I want them to rip it apart 😂
This is a criminally underrated video
Christ, is this a beta build? This is so broken and unfinished seeming compared to the PS2 version I grew up with...that version is actually a good game.
Yeah, I distinctly remember having a really good time with the PS2 version as a kid.
Cat in the Hat is a masterpiece no one can convince me otherwise.
See, stuff like that at the end where you need "X" amount of collectables to proceed, is why I bust out the Cheat Engine and hunt down those values.
I like how adum’s recommended videos match my recommendations almost exactly
I think Scoot is the only straight furry I've ever seen in my life
I'm making more
Wow, I remember owning this game on PS2, but with absolutely no idea of how it showed up one day. It was strange, but I think I liked it more than the movie. A high bar, of course!
Scoot, Adum has watched half of a movie and rated it multiple times. Vice is the first example that comes to mind
I love that this is one of the more popular vids on this channel. It's got rewatchability
Alex Baldwin standing there is my personal favorite part.
When i saw the poster of this movie back when i was still a little kid, i thought it was for a horror movie. That catsuit horrified me.
I watched the cat in the hat all the time as a young'un and I still stand by it being a genuinely entertaining movie.
the sound effects in this game are permantley burned into my psyche thanks to this being one of the 5 games I had on cd-rom as a kid
Love the thumbnail, Adam!
The Cat and the Hat is still better than cyberpunk
You NEED to see and review cat in the hat, please lol
Sometimes you come to this world not knowing your purpose, but the great Creator that be made someone to make a player's guide to Cat in the Hat the video game to help Adum and Scoots
Jesus this is one Wet Nightmare
Meow adum will never get old
Wow, this game is literally a bad Klonoa LOL
The people and portraits in the house hub world look exactly like the 90s FMV adventure game "Harvester".
I'm the one person in the world who really doesn't think the cat looks that bad in this movie. AMA
16:22 gave me a coughing fit laughing.
This takes me back. The game room at my YMCA had this and I used to play before swim lessons
anyone noticed yiffalicious in his desktop?
It’s been a long time since I saw the travesty that was the cat in the hat movie so my memory is kinda fuzzy , but with how much wildly inappropriate shit I do remember happening in it I wouldn’t be surprised if it had a spooge machine in it .
This game is actually kind of a reskin of an early PS2 platformer called Klonoa 2. The gameplay is almost exactly the same
Never did I think we'd see Aja in an Adum video but here we are.
There was actually a TV special where the Grinch grinched the Cat In the Hat
I loved this game as a kid and used to put the movie on to fall asleep to. I'm glad to see Adum suffer through this fever dream that made up part of my early childhood
I want Klonoa
We have Klonoa at home
Klonoa at home:
SO IM NOT ALONE!
I just realized looking at it again its a Klonoa: Door To Phantomile ripoff lol
This redeems your subpar DP2 play through
I hope scoot convinces Adam to make a Part 2 to complete this game
The one time Adum didn't break the game, the game broke Adum
That’s it, we gotta get The Cat in the Hat in Smash
You tell them, Kwi-Chang. No more big government!
Rip his Heart out!
This is so manic to watch visually.
This game is a token representation of weirdcore
god I remember actually playing through and finishing this because the library the next town over had this as one of the, like, three proper video games
I only recall that one of the other ones was SimTower
The Cat in the Hat is making me wish Scoot would wear nothing but a bowtie and a hat..
If you thought the movie was bad, you should see the deleted scenes where Mike Miers licks his crotch, it makes you question PG logic in the 2000s
That's not even a cut scene, it was just Mike Myers off set
That computer background though, perfection
“If Alec Baldwin can do it, you can do it”
7:21 Aja?? wasn't expecting to see you here
I thought it was just a horrible fever dream when I was a kid, but I guess this game really did exist. All I remember was that I fucking hated it...and that there was a giant lobster.
This game was a pillar of my childhood, I was never able to beat that stupid fucking fridge level
This is unironically one of my favorite childhood games
Quick fact: Dr Seuss’ wife banned any live action remakes after the film was made with Mike Myers- because she hated it so much.
Quick fact, it's her fault the movie even existed.
And the lorax.
And Grinch remakes.
She's an idiot lol
I bet Scoot was excited for this...
Slowly morphing into James Rolfe
Just realised that this game ripped off Klonoa.
I used to have this game for PC as a child. I can vouch that everything Adum is doing is legitimate and integral for the true Mike Myers' Dr. Suess' Cat in the Hat: The Video Game experience.
I kinda miss this era of weird platformer/beat-em-up advertisement tie-in games.
This unlocked a repressed memory. I used to play this on the original Xbox and never could get through the first level
Scoot and Adam getting mad about the tail and here I am getting mad that the furthest-right flower on the bush is floating >:(
