OUR NEW VIDEO, JUST IN TIME FOR HALLOWEEN! Direct all technical praise (or blame) to Kevin, who conceived, shot and edited this. I helped a bunch and provided the synthy music.
it was AMAZING!!!! literally worth the wait!!! I loved it so much, the lighting was phenomenal and so was the editing :-D can't wait for the next video!
Neil is like a fearsome boogeyman, only instead of lurking under my bed he lurks in the peripherals of my online browsing, and instead of thrilling me with spooks and scares, he hunts me for sport.
I was seriously worried about this one not looking as good as the last few. Corey brought a lot to the table in terms of elbow grease, and basically "doubled" the size of our production crew. He also provided the amazing warehouse set + a custom cold-fogger machine he built.
It’s not just Neil you know. I think Neil commented that a majority of this was Kevin’s idea. Not that Neil doesn’t deserve credit but he’s not the only one
I love how unnecessarily high the production value on these always are, this literally looks like a movie. Even the werewolf mask, which is the one they sell at Spirit Halloween, looks good with the right lighting and framing
@@una_10bananas He handled multiple cameras, lights and microphones while directing actors and a ton of fog. I put KY jelly on the wolf mask, though, so I deserve SOME praise.
@@neilcic I am fascinated by the end credits song (which I assume you composed). The use of slap bass is greatly appreciated. I think you have a hidden talent for composing end credits songs that sound just right.
The amount of people who don’t recognize that as being from Are You Afraid of The Dark upsets me, and I never even _watched_ the fucking show I watched the JonTron video about it.
I love how D.A.R.E. and the CIA are credited with providing better jokes over Kevin's original concept. I also love how Neil's character's name is "Kneel" and how every character goes pretty much unnamed and yet has a named character to their credit. Frankly the credits are the best part of the film and most assuredly it's not because the film itself is poor in quality by any stretch of the imagination. Another banger, gentlemen.

Absolutely amazing callback/parody of Are You Afraid of The Dark. Brilliant lighting and effects on this one, especially for such a Clever-Adjacent joke setup. I really loved this one!
I’m feeling at this point that the New Kids on the Rock should just get commissioned to direct an entire 90’s horror sitcom series that doesn’t know it isn’t in the 90’s.
Showed this video to my friends and they really appreciated the D.A.R.E in the end credits, as well as the lighting and the acting! I never get enough of the feeling that the Guaranteed* Videos give me. The high production value but it still having a homemade, wholesome vibe! Excited to see what the future holds, keep it up guys!
Videos by this squad were the first things I got into on RUclips (New Kids on The Rock, etc) - it's so awesome that the gang is still together creating quality short films and sharing it with us.
the scariest part was when his wife left him, really shows the symbiotic relationship of connections of two beings, and how shattering it shatters our whole reality. Whether it be a drug addict werewolf, or a clever adjacent divorced man, this really speaks to us all.
Just to keep the gang's arguments going, Dan's credited as the "Cool Thief." What, is stealing "cool" now? What about doing drugs; is that "cool?" Is being a werewolf "cool?" What sort of morals are we pushing here? What's the message we're trying to convey about this kleptomaniac, drug-addicted adjacent, literal monster?
I instantly thought that ‘High Moon’ was like, something dealing with the moon, and then getting high after it. Only to then be proved right. Honestly though, this was amazing! Neil and the crew did an amazing job. Never misses the change to amazing/surprise me and millions with such banger videos like these!
Its such a cleaver reference to have the apollo 13 drawer empty lol. 11 and 12 lamded on the moon but 13 abourted because of an issue with the lander and returned to home without landing. Then 14, 15, 16, and 17 were all successful moon landings. Its a nice touch.

I'm glad to see you're still active and working hard, looks like this took a while, I'm glad to see you return, Idk much about film making and how it's done but the lighting and acting is incredible! Keep up the good work
I now eagerly await the sequel where Bloodhounds Incorporated tracks down the werewolf and tells him to come to a Baptist potluck dinner instead of smoking rocks.
Fantastic cinematography, Kevin did an amazing job, this should earn an award. Both chilling and humorous :)! It's awesome seeing how the Guaranteed*Videos have evolved over the years!
