      @@bj10jgo It is, a few videos on RUclips with 0-60 runs. I think it could do 4.8 with ideal conditions and tires. It’s surprisingly quick. Faster than a type r 0-60 and quarter mile and better gas mileage too.

      @@drumflip1253 4.8 stock? Wow thats pretty quick.. I been debating to get the M240 or 230. I read the 230 is quick enough. I know a lot of 230 owners always upgrade and end up getting the M240 to get something faster. I just don't want to regret when i get the 230.. Then again theres the $10k difference in pricing, not sure if its really worth it. I also heard the m240 is heavier and is not as nimble as the 230..

    The 228i and 235i gran coupes are based off of the Mini Clubman platform and are front wheel drive setup with AWD available. The 230i and m240i are based off of a modified version of the 3 series RWD platform that can have AWD as well. The gran coupes' have nothing at all in common with the actual coupes. And bmw doesn't seem to do mid refreshes of interiors so the 230 and m240 are brand new so got the brand-new updates when they came out in 2022. The 228 and 235is which came out in 2019 as a 2020 model have not been updated yet.

    if i had to choose between 2series and 3series id pick the 2 pretty much all the time. I def dont want the 5 doors of the 3, i rarely take people with me, maybe once a month or so. I dont plan on having kids, so me and my girlfriend dont need all of the space a 3 would have, although ofc it would be nice. But the 2 should have enough space for bags if we go on a holiday, so thats fine. Other than space i dont see any advantage for the 3 over the 2. I pref the looks with the 2doors a lot more, i love the 2 coupé with the low back a lot more than the 3 touring. the 3 limousine seems to have the low back aswell, but that just looks wrong with the 5 doors plus low back in my opinion

      It’s you, being someone that owns one, it has an active exhaust to on start up and on sport plus it opens but once it’s past the iconic start up, it’s quiet, unless you open the exhaust and are aggressive in the rpm’s, but I would say you can never hear the engine unless you are actually sporty with driving and you can turn off the fake sound too, I got it bc it’s really quiet for the price but can still open up.

    • @drumflip1253
      @drumflip1253 6 месяцев назад +7

      I just bought one and came from a manual Veloster N. I love hot hatches and coupes. For me traffic in SoCal on the 5 was the killer for the Veloster N I never drove it Thursday-Sunday because traffic is a nightmare by me. Now I can daily this car. This car is for an enthusiast to drive especially in the canyons and twisty roads. You get off the line way quicker, spend less time shifting and more time ripping corners. It handles like it’s on rails and the power is crazy good. Also the interior is extremely nice and lots of tech and you get 34mpg normally too. I love manual cars but everyday life and traffic make them not practical sometimes.
