Ya it is a solid car. Love the dynamic of it. Love how it handles, looks, drives, the efficiency, decent practicality and passenger volume. It’s an all rounder
@@twoguysonecoupe1050 Might be a replacement for one of our two, VW CC, which I continue to love since owning it from 2015! One concern would be back seat space. I am 5 11. If I am in front seat, what would be the max height of person able to sit in back seat in the 230i?
Can't imagine getting a 230i without the M sport package, for $3,250 it includes the entire Aero kit from the m240i including front bumper, side skirts rear diffuser, and rear spoiler, as well as M sport suspension, variable sport steering, M steering wheel and sports seats, nicer 18s, with run flats, M sport steering wheel, and shadowline trim. Another must in my opinion and an absolute steal, is $1,900 dynamic handling package -includes M sport differential, M sport brakes with 4 piston front calipers, and 2 piston rear In blue or red. 19 in wheels with wider 255 rear summer tires. I personally think that for $1,900 that's a steal and a must have. The big brakes are worth it alone, let alone the sport diff and 19s with summer tires. I would absolutely skip the premium package that's $4,050, and some of the other smaller packages like the cooling and tire performance package which is $2,450. So ultimately, M performance package and dynamic handling package cost around $4,050 combined, keeping the car around the $40K Mark. Looking identical to an m240i, with far less weight and a more playful demeanor.
I would have loved the dynamic handling pack, but it forced you to get the m sport pack. In my opinion the base front end looks better than the full m sport. Plus for 23 and up model years I got the side chrome already deleted. Plus, for daily use, around 20k miles per year it’s not bad having the slightly softer suspension. I just wish I had the better diff and brakes, just not the appearance of the more angular m sport front end and steering wheel. I also prefer the feel of stock steering. Just fits better in my hands haha
@@twoguysonecoupe1050You're saying you have to get the $3,250 M sport package If you wanted The $1900 handling package? Congrats! Yes full m hopefully for me as well. The 25’s just came out with new colors and a power boost. The 230 is still a fantastic platform. Great power for everyday use on public roads, also cheap maintenance, and great fuel economy:)
Not a huge fan of the giant Ipad screens and digital speedometer, i'd much prefer an analog option and also a manual transmission option, but your car is beautiful!
This is kinda the 318is of old. Lighter than the M240i, but down on power. Not sure which I would choose. I would prefer this over the 2.0 Supra, however. It’s claustrophobic. I think I would definitely get it in Thundernight Metallic. That purple looks amazing.
At 1:45 or so you have some graphics on the right side of your dash screen. How do I get that. I have the 2024 230i and am loving it. Good video, thanks!
How do you find the ambient lighting at night? From what I've seen it looks quite subtle and not in your face as MB. Is it noticeable when driving at night but not overly distracting? Thanks for the vid!
I personally have ambient lighting in mine, you can change the color and adjust the brightness, also there’s a setting to dim it for night driving so I’ve found that it’s not distracting in the slightest and if I do find it distracting I can turn the brightness down or turn it off altogether

Did your tires wear out that fast on the rear? Do you feel it's faster than 5.5 from 0-60, from what i read BMW tends to measure their time higher than it should? One thing I am still on the fence is the way the rear looks, i feel like its short and stubby. Did you think the same thing?
