Nice review. Appreciate seeing a base Sport version review. Many other reviews of the 230i are optioned up to around $47k with Msport and handling packages. You said you drive a Camaro so having your comparison input was informative. Well done!
I’ve got the base 2022 230i coupe and yes it’s a great value. The MSRP was $39,500. This ‘22 model doesn’t have the large screen but everything else is the same. It drives great and is very quick. The luxury and quality feel for this price is very surprising. Clearly it’s the best BMW value out there…as long as you go minimalist on options. I’ve checked out the M240i which looked awesome, but the dealer optioned model was $56k. I think it would be ok if you ordered it with virtually no options to get the best value at $50k.
Steering is mostly light at low speeds to manuver in parking lots etc. It gets much heavier as speed increases... especially on the highway. Love my 230i non m sport. Very happy I do t ha e the stuff m suspension. The regular suspension is perfect for a road sports car, and the regular 230 looks way better than the msport tacky add ons. There's also tons of steering feel if you get the tire pressure correct. I thought the car lacks steering feel until I got the pressure down to around 32..... The car was recommending around 36 and 39 out back. I have no idea why.... But now the steering is absolutely beautiful. Lots of feel.
Cool. Being in my mid 50's, buying one isn't an issue. However, actually sitting in one comfortably is my #1 concern. If the seating and shoulder room is too tight...no sale. I sat in a new Camaro and Mustang. The Camaro is terrible...like sitting in a bathtub with no visibility. The Mustang is much better...seats and outward vision is fine. However, shoulder room is really tight and small pedals. I need to sit in this 2-series and try one on for sizing.
It’ll feel a little more planted while on throttle turning and a little less punchy at higher speeds but the big difference will be during rain or snow so if you’re in colder areas, the xDrive would probably be worth it.
I heard a rumor that " you cannot currently order a 2023 230 i w/M Sport pkg car and that some of the M Sport suspension was incorporated into the standard car"....Is this just ignorant salesperson talk or is this true per BMW themselves????

i drove this car and previous generation multiple times- great car with only one minus-there is NO steering feel-its shame to BMW otherwise very very good car
6:47 you consider $37K well under $40K? Seems pretty close to $40K to me. You need to work on your salesman skills cause peeps don’t fall for bullsh_t much anymore brah ☹️

We don't even get a sport in the uk! Starts at m sport only.
Out of all german cars this is the best value, $41k as shown in the video is less than I expected.
Agreed man really tough to beat this car for the money!
yeah right the dashboard seemed to have been designed by some drunken monkeys lol. The audi a3 interior is loads better then this.
Great review! Plan on getting mine within the next few months
The best car review I seen, and I've seen a lot recently. Thanks for being someone thorough in your review
100% agreed

Sounds like a sweet car man and a really great value for the money! I’d also keep the options to a minimum on both models. Good luck with the car!
@@WTFCRLT1 - Thanks!
My first BMW coupe car!! Nice review bro.
Thanks Jeremiah!🙏🏼
@@WTFCRLT1No problem.
I love this type of sunroof; less wind noise, and better appearance. Excellent review!
I just got a 2021 230i with M package. Only 10000 miles
Love it
Thank you man, this was a great review, very helpful 👍
Great review. Many thanks

My dream car 😍😍😍
Just bought one love it!
Does the m Sport steering wheel feel different vs the stock one?
Isnt the adaptive headlights part of a optional package and not standard?
I saw a comment on another video where this dude got adaptive headlights standard. BMW is weird.

How do you add the m sport package or is that no longer available for the 230
Is there a spare tire?
230i is no longer available with a manual transmission... Is that correct?
Correct
I'm considering ordering the 230xdrive.
What would the driving experience be compared to the rwd model?
It’ll feel a little more planted while on throttle turning and a little less punchy at higher speeds but the big difference will be during rain or snow so if you’re in colder areas, the xDrive would probably be worth it.
Will this car be reliable in the long run?
Thats my question!
My opinion is if you drive it reasonably, and just keep up with maintenance it should be able to last you 10+ years
LOVE this
Nice review!
There is a head-up display for this model

Love the bumper in this one, the USA body and color pallet is so bad 🤦
Supra looks too cheesy
Another “this thing” review.😐
