@edw1045 At the beginning of the illegal Invasion when Irina was losing subs over her refusal to condemn the war I suggested she and a Ukraine friend hold a monthly fundraiser on YT to aid orphans of the war, as an olive branch and for PR purposes. I was attacked and told to FO. Irina used to average 40-60k views per vid and many times went over 100k. Now she can barely scrub up 5k. Her flying monkeys still attack me saying "don't tell Irina what to do! who the hell ARE YOU?". Someone needs to. I was hoping her Patreon would so I joined at a high membership hoping to help but she was AWOL for several weeks so I canceled.
I found my soulmate, we both knew it, so we married, and have beem happily married since we met, 50 years ago.

Maybe he has money because he does eat at Shake Shack. Any financial advisor will tell you to live below your means and save. If you make 50k per yr live on 30k.
Hi, Irina! As you know, I am a big fan of yours. This is probably the most liked video that I have seen from you. Despite the fact that you consider yourself a traditional Russian woman, I completely agree with everything that you have said. This is why I feel that when it comes to dating, I think that the person who asks for the first date should pay for it. After that, I think that everything should be split 50/50. That way, there should no argument. I would never pursue a serious relationship with anyone that asked me what my income is. I don't think that you would either. That wouldn't be love. It would be a business transaction.
Final thought. If a person, either man or woman, marries someone for their income or money, what happens when the money is gone? A millionaire can lose everything in one day.
One more thing. When I see two people arguing about how much their date cost, it makes me sick. Someone once told me that a coworker told her that she knew that the guy she was dating had a nice car, but she wanted to find out how much money he really had. Her response was, if that's the way that you think, then you are no better than a hooker. Amen.

Seems like this person does not have concept of how to live within their means (completely detached from reality). If you can afford higher level of living, go for it.

50k a year isn't the same everywhere & everyone's situation is different, like you say at the end. Actually, a person's financial situation is so much more complicated than their income that a blanket statement like "A man needs to make more than 50k a year" is just ignorant.
For example: I have 0 credit card debt. My car is paid for. I owe less than my annual income on my house, which has a low apr loan (like 3% or something), and no other debt at all. So, without even saying what my income is, or how much I have in investments & savings or anything like that, my situation isn't the same as someone who pays rent, has a car loan, credit card debt, student loans, child support, & whatever else.

Now you know why guys do not want to date anymore, or if we do, we seek out gals in other countries...and get harassed for being "passport bros". I'd rather date an Eastern European gal if I was still in the dating scene, however, I'm too old now (mid 60s), "geographically unavailable" (I live in Alaska), and not rich enough (I'm retired and live a simple life by choice). Never been married, no kids, no family. 🤷♂

Shake Shack is expensive, all these women just want a man that makes a lot of money will be very disappointed in life and are probably not very happy at all. They got good burgers there.
I don’t make $100,000:a year that’s why my wife works too to afford a house ,like most couples today. This ain’t the 60s where you were able to afford the stay at home mom. Now I’m hungry for shake shack 😂

First, 100K per year is reduced to 50K because of city, county, state, and federal taxes. Don't forget another 10-15% in "hidden" taxes. However, I will be generous and say you get to keep 1/2 your money.
It is the same for all those people that make only 50K (gross) per year... they only have maybe 27K to work with for the entire year.
It is possible to live on 27K IF you live within the means that you have.
I agree that both people working, saving, and even investing a little is great... just don't have kids for the first few years.
After kids are born, my wife will be a stay-at-home wife and mom who will be doing a hustle from home to earn more money, if she chooses to do so.

$50k a year is an average starting salary of a university graduate. It's OK for a young person starting out in their early 20s, and fine for dating within your peer group. It isn't very good if you are in your mid 30s. I was making $65k in 1985.

To be fair, 50k is nothing in most cities. In L.A I have friends making over 80k and they're renting garages to live in...

I don't have a currency #, I care more about the attributes. I feel there is a lot of careers that aren't as lucrative but it gives joy, such as teachers, volunteer work, police in some areas, fireman in some areas. for me its about the intrinsic qualities and character of a person.
